I started an on-line order for Mother's Day, but I wanted to add a side of a half rack of ribs. (This add-on used to be available on line) However, I couldn't navigate a way to add it so I called to place our order and spoke to a friendly To-Go Server named Lauren. She was EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant! 'Lauren' made sure to read my order back to me. 2 containers of Bleu Cheese Dressing, No Onions or Croutons on my husband's salad, etc, etc. Not only was the order PRECISELY CORRECT, food was HOT and ON TIME!! A-N-D... I told her my husband is a Firefighter in our town; Outback shows their support for First Responders by giving a 10% discount!!! On Monday, May 9, I called the store to ask for the Mgr to show our appreciation for a job well done when the Proprietor, Michael, came to the phone to speak to me His demeanor was extremely friendly, accommodating and grateful I took the time to call. I spent 25 years of my life as a Retail Mgr so I know how difficult it is to serve the public, sometimes to people who aren't polite, and especially on holidays where restaurants and stores are SLAMMED. I told him how Lauren provided the 1st Responder discount; he said he provided food to my husband's Station # 98 in Royersford, PA since he's been in place. We were very disappointed in the service we received at the Outback in Royersford. Our waitress Nicole forgot to bring us bread and I had to ask her twice for our order of French fries, which came when my sister was almost finished her meal. Nicole didn't ask us if we wanted a beverage refill or check in with us. She brought our check before we were offered dessert. It was not an enjoyable meal. However the food was very good and the manager did give us gift cards as reparation for the poor service. read more

Generally good for steaks. Seafood is generally disappointing, especially since we're not that far from the water where much better selections for seafood can be sourced than what makes it to the table. Outback has been using a different source for their Filet in the last six months, and it really tastes better than before. Service and management are usually quite good, and my only real gripe is when they don't have enough wait staff to cover the patrons coming in at times when you'd expect to be hosting larger crowds, and much of the tables are not being used. I suppose it's a challenge to keep good help when the economy is good. It's an occasional choice for me, depending just on convenience for where I happen to be when I want a steak. Not a place I'd drive further for. read more

Recently went here for lunch. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere to it, bright with natural sunlight, very clean, well maintained and decorated. Service from everyone was excellent. My husband and I visited Outback Steakhouse in Royersford for lunch today. We had a very nice blonde hair waitress, who was also taking care of the bar as well as booths near bar. I do not remember her name sorry, but she was the best waitress I have ever had in restaurants. She was so professional and very nice and paid very close attention to her customers. She must be recognized. We ordered appetizer, lunch and drinks. We could not believe how good she made us feel. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Have not been able to say that about a lot of other restaurants we visited around our area. This was a twenty minute drive and well worth it. We will definetly be back and hope others go there for good food and good service. The other staff also were very nice. Keep up the good work. Thank God we found a good restaurant. read more

This was a second attempt at this restaurant after a horribly slow and inept staff experience a couple months ago. This time the kitchen failed big time, all the steaks were cooked to the wrong temps. The waitress was very good though. Told the manager I had a prior bad experience and we would not be coming back. The service here is very very poor. I don't recommend the calamari. The server raved how good it was. It was over done, very small portion and really tiny pieces. Shrimp skewers were very good. A little under done but tasty. Steaks were good but were under done from what we asked for. The manager was not dressed professionally at all. I would not have known who she was if she had not introduced herself. She was comping tables all over the place. We won't be returning. This particular location of Outback deserves 5 stars because I've never once experienced an issue or a disappointment from them. Every time my husband and I either go there for a dine-in experience or we order for take out, they are accurate and timely and dine-in services are always great. Their servers are so friendly and do their job very well as well as the quality of their food is excellent. I've even noticed that over the years, they have really improved on their quality of food and even their entire dine-in experience, with seasonal menu options. I don't know why they had to remodel the entire restaurant just about a year or two after it went in. you can eat at so many other places and get just about the same quality of food and experience for a lot less. Yes, this is a chain restaurant, but for a chain, I generally don't mind this place. Was most recently here to celebrate my son's birthday and thankfully, they took a reservation since we were a party of 12. Normally they don't take reservations, but they do offer call ahead seating. We've always had good food and good service at this particular location. I do wish they had their potato soup everyday as I really like it, but most of the time, I seem to be here on a day they aren't offering it. If you find yourself waiting for a table, there isn't really anything else around here, so you'll have to sit in the lobby, wait outside, or hopefully find a seat the bar and have some drinks until your table is ready. We've also gotten take-out from here, and they offer curb-side pick-up. Simply drive up to the marked parking spots, and someone will come out to collect your cash or credit card and will then come out with your food. All in all, happy with this Outback location, but note that they do not offer lunch here like some locations do. read more

This was my first time using their curbside service. Despite the rain the employees did a fantastic job. The food was packaged and labeled very nicely. The quality of the food were the same if you were having a dine in experience. Because I am such a traveler you will always find my reviews referencing locations that are very friendly to the business traveler. Unfortunately, they have been less than okay once again. Most recently, our salmon dish was to have a shrimp & mushroom sauce (the reason we ordered the dish) but it was missing from the order. Enjoyed a wonderful meal with my family on the first night of our vacation! The staff was very helpful, and our server Bryan could not have been friendlier. Was passing thru the area this past Sunday and decided to roll the dice on a national corporate run food dispensary. The atmosphere was pleasant and well accented and felt accommodating, but unfortunately proper understanding of what basic items should be given or offered to a patron who is seated and placing orders for drinks and food must have escaped the mental capacity of the bar tender that day. Ill make this quick, ordered a spicy bloody mary ( tasty / but had ZERO booze in it ) no coaster or drink napkin provided. Ordered a top priced food combo, soup came out - no salt n pepper shaker provided but they where visibly located on tables. Was forced to request S&P and then a napkin after being forced to use the saturated serving napkin under the bowl. Next the $34.00 entree arrives.. No silverware was provided. Sat finishing my soup for 7min or so before finally having to ask for utensils. Like seriously, the basics are literally the basics. I recommend not ordering food from this location. At least until the pandemic has ebbed. I placed an order for delivery for my family that lives in the area, and it consisted of a couple items that this restaurant should absolutely have on hand: among them was the bloomin' onion and ribs. TWO HOURS after placing the order, the food was still not ready for the driver to pick up. I had to cancel the order and left my family scrambling to order from a different restaurant before they all closed. I understand that operations are leaner and slower at this time, but I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant's inability to judge its capacity and bandwidth.
