I ordered a steak Medium Rare and it came Well Done and beyond. Basically leather and absolutely no seasoning. The coconut shrimp was soggy. Just altogether a very disappoingint meal. This was pickup so that may factor in but worst meal ever. read more

Probably my the worst meal ever at a restaurant. The ribeye I ordered was more like a sirloin, my Cabernet I ordered was a white wine (not sure how that happens...) My friend had cold mashed potatoes and they told him they could not get him a replacement order because they didn't have any more... Oh, they did have baked potatoes.. I came to Outback expecting a moderately-priced, moderately-good meal. The service we faced at the Saginaw branch was horrendous. Our party (with a reservation) faced a 45 minute wait. Our waiter was neglectful, forgot straws, and took an unacceptably long time to come to our table. On forgetting a salad, he suggested to my sister that maybe someone else at the table took it. The food was horrendous. The Victoria steak (ordered rare) was cold, had visible tendons, and was drenched in horseradish sauce. The neglectful waiter told my uncle that they were out of steak sauce, on request. Three members of our family sent our meals back, finding them inedible. Do not go here. read more

Eh, our dinner was okay. We had the Blooming Onion as an appetizer and it was as we expected, no complaints. I ordered the Baby Back Ribs for my dinner which were fine, nothing special. My Dad ordered their four course meal special and actually got charged extra (which we didn't notice until we got back to my apartment 30 minutes away). He was so full after the appetizer and meal that he asked to have his dessert (which is included in the special) wrapped up to take home. He paid for the meal and used a valid coupon for $5 off that they accepted. When we got back, he looked at the receipt and noticed that they charged him as if he had added the dessert on after the meal. It wasn't a huge over charge ($4 or $5, but it basically voided out his coupon and just seemed kind of shady). Overall the service was sub-par and the food was "eh". If we weren't in Saginaw to pick up some stuff from Best Buy, we probably wouldn't have stopped by this restaurant and I probably won't ever go back. read more

My husband and I ate at the Outback Steakhouse in Saginaw Michigan last night. It was a very nice experience all around...we had a server named Ryan, and he was excellent, quite possibly the best server I've ever had. He was very attentive but not overbearing, around just enough. I hope this establishment values him and knows what an asset they have in him. The food was delicious and the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Don't hesitate to give them a try! Highly recommend the blackberry martini also! read more

We walked in and were quoted over an hour wait and you could tell the restaurant was very understaffed. Even though there was lots of guests wait the staff had everyone sat in a timely fashion and even offered a free appetizer for our wait (under an hour). The best part of the meal came while connecting with a waitress, janet. My husband passed away last week and i am here with my children trying to enjoy a family trip. janet sympathized with us and shared some kind words. a bit later into our meal janet informed us our entire meal was on the house. There isnt enough kind things i can say about janet and the manager on duty. This was one of my husbands favorite areas and to be shown such kindness on our first days here was truly magical. read more

First of all if I would have followed the reviews and saw the stars and made judgment I went to realize this is an amazing place! Pretty good service. The chicken artichoke flatbread was delicious, and the strawberry peach sangria was awesome. We went at 4 on a Saturday and it was packed, we waited almost an hour to sit, so just be prepared to wait. We didn't mind waiting - we got drinks and appetizers at the bar until we were able to be seated. Friendly staff. Good drink selection. This was the absolute worst place it eat. I really enjoy Outback, but not this one. We were a party of 3 and arrived around 1:30 pm . The establishment was not busy. We were seated quickly, and the waiter came shortly after being seated. We ordered, and then we waited what felt like forever. 20 minutes later, one order was brought to the table; approximately 10 minutes later, the final 2 orders were brought out. My salad was missing the blue cheese, and my steak was cold as if it had been in the refrigerator, not off the grill. I moved the steak to the side and just wanted it warmed. Waiter came back, and when I stated, my steak was cold and..... he didn't let me finish my sentence. He abruptly grabbed my plate and stated, "Well, I will just have my manager come and talk to you. He came back and said I requested another steak, and my manager will be out to see you. I said, ok, but I don't know why you sent for the manager. I just wanted my steak warmed up. He responded in a very snotty tune with his hand on his hip. Well, you were very upset, and as he spoke, he became more rude and loud, wagging his finger at me. I put my hand up and said, "ok, please stop." The two people across the isle were starring. Waiter states, "Don't you raise your hand at me." To say I was mortified is an understatement. Manager brings my salad and by this time my friend's had finished their meal and she dropped the bill off. She said I did not charge you for your meal. In the end, I just wanted to leave. The steak had no favor. I took a few bits, placed food in the box, and purposelessly walked away, not taking it with me. Awful food and service. I will never return. Don't waste your time. read more

My husband and I came to Outback on 10/27/2015 for a special date. We have been taking care of his father who has cancer after moving from Grand Rapids 3 months ago, and haven't had any "us time" in a very long time. Needless to say, we were incredibly excited for this planned date, and we decided on going to Outback about a week and a half before. Our drinks and appetizer were brought with speed and absolutely delicious. We ordered our entrees, and I had been dreaming of a Victoria's Filet topped with Blue Cheese crumbles. The last time I had this dish was about 5 years ago, and I was SO EXCITED! However, when we received our entrees, I was highly disappointed. My food was only lukewarm, and had no blue cheese. Easy mistake on the blue cheese- I work at Starbucks across the road and know that mistakes can happen. When I brought it up to the waitress, she immediately took my plate back into the kitchen to fix my filet. When she returned, there was MAYBE a 1/2 tsp of blue cheese on top. Seriously- MAYBE a 1/2 tsp. I asked her about it and expressed my disappointment, because I remember ordering this and having a beautiful mountain of cheese on top... This is why I ordered what I ordered. Instead of offering to grab me more, she simply told me that cheese was pre-portioned and that was how they did it now. Again, I expressed my disappointment and THEN she said "I can take it back and give you another portion, if you want" as if it were a daunting task. At that point I was disappointed in her attitude, and I didn't want my food to be even more cold than it already was. From then on, we saw her once before we got our check (which took 15 or so minutes after we had finished eating to get). I understand that menus change, I understand that this server might have been having a bad day, I even understand the business of customer service. I was so incredibly disappointed in not only our food, but also our service tonight. We paid too much money on a special night for us to have the crap service that we did. Absolutely awful dirty place. I traveling for a living and while I don't always eat at Outback I thought I would tonight because I thought I knew what I would get. It's a Wednesday evening and the place was less than half full (it was me and two other people sitting at the bar). It took over a half hour to get my food. One of my side dishes was mash potatoes, when a server dropped off my entrée she said they were out of mash potatoes. When I made a face it was when I was half way done with my meal she came back and said, oh, look what we found. Really?! Like they lost ALL the mash potatoes?! As for the entree the steak was tough. And if that wasn't bad enough the place was filthy and you could hear the crew in the kitchen laughing and yelling, as if there was a party going on back there. Very unprofessional and down right disappointing. Looks like I'll wait another 5 years before I try Outback again. read more

I think Outback Steakhouse has great food, a great environment, and most important, some Guinness beer. I've gone out to eat at this restaurant several times with my family and we always have a great time. The worst service ever! The food was OK our waitress couldn't even bring straws for my kids drinks, when we noticed other tables getting bread and then hear her offer the table that sat down 10 minutes after us bread when we asked she said oh we don't have any, really!? My daughter ordered chicken fingers and was asked ahead of time what sauce she would like she says ranch so she doesn't bring any when she dropped off the food I have to asked her for it and she brings out some kind of spicy sauce for something like blooming union I had to ask another waiter for ranch it's i felt like she was now being an asshole on purpose I see all other staff giving proper service and we got hosed! This is the best Outback I've visited. The steaks are always perfectly done to order and the sides are very good. I always order my steak unseasoned so I can season it to my liking. The bread is outstanding. It is my favorite steakhouse bread. I don't care for the salad dressings, but that is a chain-wide issue and not a problem at just this restaurant. It's just a matter of personal preference anyway. I visit here at least twice a month. read more

An outback is an outback when it comes to the food (good quality ingredients and food that hits the spot) so I am mainly going to focus on the service. The host staff was very friendly and was quick to open the door upon my arrival and departure which was refreshing to see. I sat at the bar on a weeknight so it was pretty slow, but I still seemed to have to try to get the bartenders attention. They were more interested in chatting among themselves then being proactive with the service. I was sitting for a while with my drink before they came to ask if I wanted something to eat (I put the menu down and stared at them for a while). So all in all its worth going for the food, but don't expect stellar service from the bartenders unless you are also a bartender and have something juicy to share. read more

I have never left a review before but I made a decision I had to leave one from my experience last night 2/16/18. I have ate at this location many times. We knew the manager but do not know if he is still around? First thing we notice was the waitress we had was very busy, maybe they were shorthanded? Service was a bit slow and she was not very attentive. Had to ask for refills. Had to use the restroom, this was a one of the worst kept restrooms I have ever seen in a public place. One urinal was out of order, urine on the floor, waste baskets over flowing and it was nasty. The plates brought out for our bread and appetizers were so dirty we had to send them back. Looks like they have never seen hot water or soap in 4 years. Second group of plates were not much better. At this point I was about to take my family and leave, I stayed and should of left. Next when my refill for water was done my wife said what's in your water? Well I look and it appears to be a piece of paper towel or T-paper. I look at my wife's and the same with hers. The food that came was decent, my sirloin was cooked to med well as asked but it looked like it was sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hours. The steak was tough but I did like the flavor. The rest of my family had satisfactory meals. Our lobster tails were very small but were cooked well. I did pay for all this during the night. What has happened to this restaurant? My husband and I were here twice within a month and both times I was very disappointed. The first time on New Year's Eve my husband ordered the pork chops. The picture on the menu shows a pork chop about 1-1/2" thick and nice and juicy but what he received was a chop about 1/2" thick and dry. I just thought because it was so busy is why it was so bad until we made a second trip with a group. One of the women ordered the house steak and I couldn't believe it when it came out 1/2" thick and dry. This is not the outback I remember... Very disappointed and have no plans to return. The floor manager Kyle made sure to completely avoid us but managed to make sure the table next to us got an appetizer less then 5 minutes after they sat, ours came out 5 minutes later which was after an hour after we had sat! Took some clients here for dinner last night. We were seated immediately. Service was up to the great standards I have come to expect from Outback. We all ordered different cuts of steak which were prepared perfectly and served hot. The blue cheese dip appetizer was delicious as well. I have found the French onion soup to vary in flavor from each location, but this one was done just the way I like it. I would highly recommend this Outback for overall service and quality. read more

After driving through a torrential downpour and locally flooded roadways we were relieved to find our place for the night (Hampton) and less than a mile away this Outback. We had already decided to treat ourselves so we started off with him cocktails and a blooming onion. Our server was prompt and friendly and took care of us the whole evening. Haggy ordered the steak and crab legs while I enjoyed the prime rib and crab legs. In particular I enjoyed one of my sides a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing --it was very nicely put together and so tasty! read more

I have gone to Outback for years, this meal was so bad I couldn't finish it. I ordered the Prime Rib and shrimp and crab. The shrimp was way over cooked and dry.
