Today was such a delightful day at Outback Steakhouse in San Bernardino! It was my boss's birthday, so I had the opportunity to treat him to lunch for a change. He usually takes us out, so it felt great to celebrate him and all that we've accomplished together. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly in a booth near the bar. That turned out to be the perfect spot because our bartender made the entire experience exceptional. She gave us fantastic recommendations, from the appetizer all the way to our steaks, and everything was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, she surprised us with a birthday dessert so we could celebrate properly. Working in real estate can be challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Today was a chance to reflect on both our successes and the lessons we've learned along the way. Sharing a great meal in such a welcoming atmosphere made the celebration even more meaningful. A huge thank you to the team at Outback Steakhouse in San Bernardino for the outstanding hospitality. Stopped by this big chain expecting mid, exactly what I got. These big chains never fail to disappoint. Anyway I got me a New York strip, medium well, it came out raw, I will be nice and review it when they got it right. It had good texture, overall a decent budget steak. The fries were pretty typical for a big chain, heavily salted, decent taste, nothing above mediocre. The baked potato used basic ingredients, nothing popped out, mediocre potato. It's been a while since my last visit Review is more of service I experienced at this visit!! First .... I had a question and server was across the table didn't come to my side. So I asked the question anyways and she rudely responded to me I can't hear you !!!( restaurant music was kinda loud)!! She approached closer at the edge of the table where I was seated then When I inquired about the 3 course meal deal of the 3 choices for entrees she rudely answered that "the choice of course was only 1 item from each entree price .. who could eat all those food!!!" Sevond ....When I was ordering the 3 course meal the server was standing behind me and abruptly cut me off by tapping my shoulder to hurry up with my main entree order when in fact I was giving her my order for number ONE step which was French Onion Soup!!! Okay, so when my husband & I went two weeks prior to this review, we got two different things, my meal was basic, but they messed up my steak so they did do right by me & made me a new one and gave me an extra baked potato. My husband got the chimichurri steak & that was delicious!! Fast forward two weeks later & my dad wants to go for his bday, & we are excited because we wanted that steak again, we go, & we all got jipped. Take a look at the two photos. First visit vs second. Honestly we were let down... we went to my dad's birthday dinner too on a Thursday during dinner time, and when we went the first time, Tuesday at dinner time. They do a "bait and switch" for veterans and military, enticing people to come in and dine but then don't honor or accept the discount. They claim that "participation may vary and up to each restaurant " whether they do they discount or not. Not reputable, lack of integrity and never going back. Follow up: Outback customer service Brian Williams is San Diego reached out and I replied but never heard anything back after several weeks. I'm guessing by that it's standard practice at Outback and encourage my fellow veterans and military to avoid this chain.....sad.... read more

Came for the lunch deal, returning for our server Luis! He took care of my family on my hour lunch break. Even though my toddler was having a fit, Luis was cordial and accommodating for our request to split our meal and also to separate out some ice cream from our dessert for the little guy. Located on Hospitality Ln near Carnegie Dr (across from The Home Depot), this Outback Steakhouse offers plenty of parking. We visited on Valentine's Day for an early dinner. Although there was a one-hour wait, it was completely understandable given the occasion.  To start, we had their Spinach Dip which was creamy, cheesy, and flavorful. It is served with chips which was the perfect way to start our meal. I ordered the Center-Cut Sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. While I requested the steak well-done, it came out slightly overcooked and dry; but, the flavor was still excellent and I enjoyed the meal. The sides were fresh, and I loved that their Cherry Coke is made with real grenadine. I also enjoyed that they brought us bread w/butter as we waited for our meal. The restaurant was clean, organized, and maintained that classic Outback atmosphere and full bar. Outback Steakhouse in San Bernardino is a great spot to take the family out! To be honest our kids wanted to go to Chili's but they had over an hour wait time. So we didn't know where we were going to go. Then we saw Outback and I called the hostess that answered the phone was so friendly and she said wait time is 10 minutes. So Outback saved our family dinner night! The Decor is inviting and the place is well maintained. The wait time was only around 6 minutes. We were greeted and seated in a flash. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was awesome! She was actually impeccable!!! We never had to ask for anything. She was on top of everything. I'm so sad. Came in to celebrate my birthday. Was excited because it's usually one of our favorite places, but not this day. We spent a decent amount on apps, food and drink which was pretty much a waste as food and service was definitely not worth it. Waitress was neglectful and pretty much ignored us while chatting it up with a group of people whom seemed like her friends. She gave all her attention to them. Meanwhile we were left waiting quite a while for her to even bring our food. Never did get refills on our drinks. The blooming onion we ordered was soggy as there was still raw batter in the middle. I ordered a 6oz sirloin steak with sides of a baked potato and paid for an upgrade of the bloom petals. I asked for a medium steak with a hint of pink and it was given to me well done. The baked potato was very cold and a bit overdone. As for the bloom petals they tasted burnt and salty. I came here for my Family Birthday Dinner today and we started with their, Kookaburra Wings, Motzarella Boomerangs and their French Onion Soup and it hit the spot. We also tried their New York Strip, Lobster and Mashed Potatoes (We love their Mashed Potatoes and Loaded Potato Soup since they make them fresh every day). We also tried the Blooming Fried Chicken and it was pretty good especially if you like the flavor of the Blooming Onion. Our Service was great and their Bartender has been there a long time and she is one of the main Reasons we come to this Outback location. The server brought us bud light and took 20 minutes to bring the onion. Was kinda cool and greasy. Then we both ordered steak. Wife ordered the outback special sirloin. Ordered it medium rare. It came out medium well and tough. I ordered the ribeye and ordered it medium well. Came out well done and tough. The steaks had no taste to them and couldn't eat but a few bites. I won't send food back because I know what these ppl will do to your food. So we just sucked it up, paid for the meal and won't ever come back to this outback. It was horrible. The server barely spoke English and I had a bad feeling about it right away. But was taking the wife out for early Mother's Day. So didn't want to spoil anything for her. I took my family to Outback for lunch. Everyone's meal was delicious, although they were out of the best clam chowder. And the starter, Bloomin' Onion and Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp, was a hit. The ambiance was pleasant. Unfortunately, I found a hair stain on my Grilled Chicken on the Barbie just before taking a bite. I immediately showed it to our server, who apologized, replaced my meal, and removed it from our bill, so I thought. The following day, I looked at the receipt and noticed she had removed the charge and recharged it. I called Outback and spoke to the manager. I explained the situation to him, and he was very professional and asked pertinent questions regarding the receipt number, the credit card, and my phone number. He explained he would look into it. A couple of days later, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Outback credited the overcharge back to my credit card. My daughter and I, My daughter and 2 grandsons ages 8 & 5 and recently in Sep 3rd for my birthday 9 family members and I enjoyed dinner. My visits with daughter and grandsons was for lunch. I come in here fairly often. I enjoyed the decorations of Australia and how decorative the restaurant is. The service is always good and today was no exception. I had the soup and salad Caesar salad with the potato soup. You can add two dollars and have all you can eat, but this is plenty with the bread they give you also. The salad was a salad. There was nothing really exciting about it nor was it bad. The potato soup is delicious with the added cheese and bacon bits. Never had a bad experience here always good. Outback the steakhouse from down under, we went there for a late lunch, and yes sir they serve their lunch menu until 4 pm. To drink we had beer and a nice spiked lemonade with lavender. To eat we had a ribeye sandwich and surf and turf. A special mention to their remarkable Mac and cheese, delicious!! We didn't have dessert.
