Talking about a Time Machine this is Shakey's brought me back. The food is good just like any other Shakey's. The chicken is crispy with a very juicy inside. The pizza was delicious. You can choose whatever flavors they have. The salad bar was nice. They had different options as far as sides like a macaroni and cheese, I think they offered french fries and something else I wasn't really too sure but the main attraction is a fair arcade. A pizza place with a decent arcade, an all you can eat option, and even good enchiladas? Okay! I used to come here in my 20s on dates and always enjoyed it but today I brought the kids. If you come on the weekend it's packed, come early or late for the all you can eat option (11-2) if you don't want to be standing in line forever. The arcade is decent and clean. Two machines out of order. Kudos to the employee who had to run around and help everyone, she handled it very well and was on top of every single request. The pizza is okay, Mojos are where it's at. Today I was shocked at how good the enchiladas were, or even the fact that they had pineapple options for the all you can eat pizza. They also have beer for those that want a drink with their pizza. Pizza isn't super great but the buffet has a pretty decent selection. From cinnamon rolls and pasta to really good fried chicken. All the staff was really nice and friendly and the arcade is what I really liked. It's got the old school cool vibe because they still use tokens and tickets and I loved that. Recently had my son's birthday here. Service was excellent! All the managers took good care of everything we needed for our reserved area. Especially Amanda! The bussing staff was super helpful as well and brought us everything we needed like plates and extra silverware. They kept our ice cream and cake in their fridge/freezer. The pizza and mojos are so good and fresh, but we went on a Thursday evening and it was insane. Like a Chuck E Cheese. They closed half the seating area because it was 'reserved' so every single birthday party and family were crammed into the first dining room. We sat at the end of a long table where other people were eating. We couldn't hear ourselves talk or think and it took near an hour for our order to come out. Eventually I went up and asked for it to go so we could eat our pizza in the peace and quiet of our home. Maybe we'll try it again but I think it may be a take out only experience for us. The Manger Amanda seen our difficulties finding a seat and she personally clean a table of us to sit. I don't even like pizza. Why am I here? - to channel the famous James Stockdale vice presidential debate introduction - and also who even am I? With here being Shakey's. And yet anyways, I was here, for the Shakey's Lunch Buffett. It was fairly cheap, and I was extremely hungry. Moreover, I have never actually eaten at a Shakey's before, so eating at one seems like part of the classical cultural education in American. British aristocratic youth upon reaching adulthood, often sought to "enrich" themselves by going on a "Grand Tour" through Europe, seeing famous cathedrals, works of art, etc. I, upon reaching adulthood, am instead enriching myself by visiting Shakeys. I did not regret this choice. Here's what I had. The pizza is a refreshing change of flavor from the other stuff - no complaints there - especially when it's hot and the cheese is melty. The fried chicken - I could see why they take pride in it. It was salty and crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. It wasn't a particularly unique flavor, but it was just a generally solid fried chicken - which is impressive when they're making a lot of it buffet style for you to eat as much of it as you want. Mac and Cheese: Another solid side dish that was nice to pour onto my plate and try out. It was cheesy, warm, and honestly you can't really mess up mac and cheese if you get those two down. Meatballs: Comes in a thick gravy, you can pour extra onto your plate if you want. I of course, did. Honestly, I kept on coming back to the meatballs. I found it hard to stop eating them. Mojo Potatoes: They also advertise their mojo potatoes a lot. They're basically just lightly fried sliced potatoes. They were definitely enjoyable to eat - if you like steak fries or potato wedges, you would like these a lot. I do, so I did like these a lot. The coolest part was that they had easy pepper shakers, so I could just make ketchup, drown it in black pepper, and dip the mojo potatoes in an extremely peppery ketchup-black pepper mixture, which honestly made the mojo potatoes even more enjoyable. They're basically potato chip shaped, so you can dip them in whatever you like - I also tried dipping them in meatball gravy and mac and cheese. Have fun experimenting! Anyways, the Shakey's buffet was a enjoyable decision and I recommend it to people who are just really hungry and want a lot of solid food thrown their throats. read more

This is a great place for pizza, fried chicken and beer. They have a great atmosphere and all the employees are super nice. The fried chicken in mojos are awesome. Even though this is a pizza place, the pizza is fairly average comparatively. There's nothing special about it here. The dining space and game area were both very clean. The employees were all very nice and attentive. The food was great. While we were eating, we noticed two employees deep cleaning the condiments caddies and condiments on each table as well as all the chairs. It was evident they pride themselves in having a clean restaurant and we really appreciate that. An employee also came and checked on us shortly after we finished eating and offered to remove our dirty dishes. We were overall very happy with our experience here. The Outside is Totally circa 1976 Which is what drew us in , as a California Kid , I cherish many fond memories of Birthday Partying with Shakeys Deep Dish whole pies & unlimited soda pitchers & beer pitchers for the grownups--, all being quite a novelty in those long ago days ? On every wall were "vintage" photos of Shakeys heyday when they rocked a Barbershop Quartet /Ragtime theme complete with coin operated player pianos and straw hats and sleeve garters for the staff . Gone is any such flair But the Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza we got was ok if not memorable .The fried "wings",however, would be worth going back for . The only reason I hold back a star is lack of cleaning. The place was very busy , true , but I saw lots of staff "hanging out" instead of doing some very much needed cleaning that evening. read more

I have to give a shoutout to the staff! It's chaos in there; literally! Each member was professional and friendly the entire time no matter the obstacle given to them. Extra points to the girl working the game room. Girl had broken games to fix, faulty ticket machines, kids screaming at her, all while dealing with annoyed adults waiting at the prize counter.
