So this is really more of a 3.5/5 but I'm rounding up. Just like they must have rounded up on the "half pound" burger the Outback burger claims to be. It was not anywhere near a half pound and for what they charge that's pretty shitty. Our server Ethan was very good and knowledge. He checked on us regularly and made sure our drinks stayed topped off. Also he treated our son with special needs just like anyone else which is appreciated. 2 of us had ribeyes, 1 rare and 1 medium rare. Both came out as desired which was nice. So let me first start off by saying that it is valentines/my birthday and presidents day weekend so of course things are extremely busy. Our server was nice and attentive and she did a great job. But let's get into this food. Order the blooming onion and it was just OK. It seemed like it was a bit overcooked they really deep-fried it in oil to the point where it was tasteless and so soggy. My prime rib, outback style was moist and juicy however, I asked for well done and I got medium well. The vegetables were over and undercooked some were mushy and some you could barely bite through because it wasn't cooked all the way through. Last I got mashed potatoes with potato pills grind up in the mashed potatoes, which made it almost inedible. My family member had the salmon plate there vegetables were the same as mine, but the rest of their plate was OK. The bill with gratuity came to about $95. I'm willing to give it another go on a slower day, but today just did not hit the mark. read more

I want to say first I am an ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR , for Culpepper Place in Olive Branch. I took my residents out for lunch. There was total of 12 of us. Charlie the manager and our server Arame were amazing. They were both very attentive and friendly. The food was so good, from the blooming onion to the steaks. They never once made us feel uncomfortable or having walkers everywhere was a hindrance. We had the most enjoyable lunch. My residents were beyond thrilled for the experience. read more

One of my favorite steakhouses. The steaks are delicious and are always cooked as I requested them. This isn't true for all steakhouses. There is one that never gets it cooked right. My favorite is the fil-A. The sides are also great as are the dressings for the salads. I go here every time I am in the mood for a really good steak. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. On November 30th at the Southaven, MS Outback, I had an extremely disappointing experience. The place was packed to the brim--you had to say 'excuse me' just to move around. Despite all that noise, the kitchen manager Charlie approached me while I was on a FaceTime call with my godsister and my son. He claimed there were complaints about swearing. I was honestly just eating quietly and not feeling well. Apparently, my sister said the word 'ass' on the phone, and some overly nosy patrons complained. When I asked Charlie if we could simply be moved, he literally said, and I quote, 'What is moving you going to solve?' I lost my appetite completely. In a place that crowded, the fact that anyone could overhear and be offended by a single mild word is beyond me. But the real issue is how poorly the situation was handled. The manager's rudeness and refusal to accommodate a simple request to move was just unacceptable. It turned a nice mommy-son dinner into a miserable experience. Definitely would not recommend if you expect basic courtesy or conflict resolution skills from the staff. 0 out of 10 absolutely do not recommend !!!! read more

He was an extremely happy camper. I had the petite sirloin cooked medium well and was pleased with it. Both steaks also reheated well too. Baked potato and house salads were excellent and fresh. This is what Outback had the nerve to serve me. I just wanted a quick meal but this was not it. What makes this even worse was this is the replacement. Service is different..as is most places after Covid..server kept coming to the table felt rushed to make an order.

We won't be back and for several reasons. First, when we arrived we were quickly seated. That was nice. However, about two minutes later the house lights dimmed and we were in complete darkness. I asked the waiter about it but he offered no assistance. I had to get up and go to the podium (aka the host) and ask for a new table. They quickly accommodated. With the new table we received a new waitress. She was pleasant and prompt but our waiter from the "dark table" complained to us about his lacking tips due to his poorly lit section! Next, my first bowl of chili was full of tiny tin foil pieces. Guess what? So was the second one. The manager cared so much they DID NOT even check on us. I ordered my steak medium well and it came back medium rare...I find that disgusting. I would have sent it back but the waitress took forever to check on us. I brought the steak home, finished cooking it, and then ate it. So glad I had to pay for that! Additionally, the presentation of the meals and dessert was messy! Based on this experience I bet management will not respond to this review. Heck, they didn't think a person who received two bowls of tin foil infused chili was worth checking in! Firstly, our waitress was literally horrible, she kept like mumbling stuff to us because of how quiet she was and whenever she did talk she didn't even look at us so it was even harder to hear her. Second, the food was TERRIBLE. I got the fillet mignon, 8 ounces, medium well, and the seasoning was ABSOLUTELY SPICY. Terribly spicy and we told them and they remade it but they didn't even put any seasoning at all on it! At least cook it like a normal filet mignon, and the manager talked to us and said that they were popular because of their extreme amount of seasoning on their steaks which was AWFUL. Okay, I gave these guys a second chance, and I honestly regret wasting my time. The hostess Melissa was the sweetest. It all just went downhill from there. I ordered a sweet tea with light ice, when i got it 15 minutes later it had black gunk on the ice, and not just small specks of black, i mean it was disgusting. I also spotted 2 bugs. Walked in and was seated promptly. Gracie was my server. Very personable and even told me I could substitute the coconut shrimp for the regular fried ones on the shrimp plate.
