My mother, sister and I went to outback last night for dinner. Although there was a slight wait, it was expected for a Saturday night at 7pm. I personally was very pleased with the service we had. Our waiter was Maksim (went by Mac) and he was beyond polite, welcoming, and overall a great waiter. He made sure we had everything we needed, he brought us refills without even asking us and he made us feel like he enjoyed providing us service. Also, a manager (never got his name) came around to each table to make sure everyone was satisfied and made sure to wish everyone a happy weekend! I highly recommend this outback location. Food was good as usual, service was something else to be desired. Edward F was our server and there were 3 other tables in the restaurant around 245pm when we were there. When he wasn't too busy talking, laughing, and sitting around he did a decent job. Multiple breaks every few minutes really hinder job performance, we were glad he was well rested while our daughter waited for her food. I would have called or asked someone else for assistance but we did not receive any water and did not get our drinks until our food came to the table. I was taken to this steakhouse on a date and I was very impressed. I highly recommend the bacon cheese fries as an appetizer and the ranch on the side is the perfect combo. My steak was cooked to perfection and the cinnamon butter sweet potato was delicious. My date had a 22 oz. ribeye that was huge and worth every penny. Definitely would come back. read more

I actually like the food in this chain restaurant, and then I started weight watchers and did that awful calculation of how many points = a portion of the bloomin onion. Well, I haven't done WW for awhile, and have since been back. Still pretty decent, but the service was AWFUL for online ordering. They apparently just changed the system, and the computer didn't print out the order. So noone comes out to the curbside parking spots, apparently because so many people park there that aren't picking up orders. *shakes head* ahhh well, I was tempted to give 1 star but despite the shoddy service and overhearing the manager say "what does SHE want?" in a nasty tone, I still like the food, and grumpy manager ended up taking off the 2 salads and appetizers. So I'll give them another chance, but please get out of your car for takeaway, it's not worth it to sit there and then find out "oops the computer never printed the order, but we'll put a rush on it" . Quesadillas were ok, and salad was ok, well packaged for takeout, steak foccacia sandwich was yummy. Side note: this is right by Route 22, and next to big lots, chens 22, ecoqua, so if you end up having to wait, well, there's alternatives.. Sadly the Young Chef's academy in this little strip is no longer, sounded like a great idea, but never made it :( read more

Start off by saying I've been coming to this location and chain for 10-15 years now. Horrible service at this location the last couple visits, came in to grab dinner and was told there was a wait (no problem at all, was expecting to wait). 4 groups of other customers ranging 4-6 people each came in a as we were the only ones waiting and they got seated rite away. I was curious why they got seated rite away ( was thinking reservations or called ahead) after hearing the group of employees at the front podium it was because they were a larger group and they were going to get a bigger tip from them instead of just 2 guest (me and my spouse). I would usually say what ever and just head down to the green brook location but was turned off so much by the greed of the employees to actually pass up business and ruin a dining experience of a loyal returning customer. Doubtful that I will be coming back to any OUTBACK establishment when there is so many other competition out there especially in the area of this particular outback. read more

I don't generally choose to eat at chain restaurants, but today the office staff decided to order take-out lunch from Outback. I ordered the chicken Cobb salad - full size, because I like to have my biggest meal of the day at noon. Let me tell you , Outback should be embarrassed to charge $12.99 for this salad as it couldn't have cost them more than a couple dollars in ingredients. I had a bowl that was little more than romaine lettuce and grilled chicken; there was a smattering of cheese and bacon on top, six cherry tomato halves, and the hard-boiled eggs were completely absent. Wish I had thought to take a picture before I started eating, but I was ravenous - and sadly, I'm still very hungry even though I've eaten the entire salad. read more

Dined here last Tuesday. The food was good, the service was terrible. Waited for the entree, was not offered drink refills, had to ask for the check after waiting a long time, and worst of all, the table was never cleared of dirty plates after each entree (we had to ask for this to be done). This was at 8:30 at night, hardly the heart of dining. Asha S. needs to be coached. I see several other sevice issues on this thread. Restaurant needs a staff housecleaning. read more

This particular Outback shines primarily in the service department (4-stars) and not the food (2-stars). I still feel that Outback is critically over-rated by most folks. Started with a very greasy, almost inedible 'Bloomin' Onion'. It was on to the entree' consisting of a 10-oz. Ribeye, Baked Potato, and Asparagus. The unspectacular Rib-Eye came Medium and not Medium-Rare as requested, thus it was a little on the tough side and high on the fat side. The Baked Potato was obviously soaked in a salt solution and the overwhelming saltiness took away from any flavor that the potato may have had. The Asparagus were undercooked and tough. Our young, and somewhat attractive waitress was on the ball and very accomodating, keeping a close watch on the water...plates etc. I've had worse experiences at Outback than this one, but can't really see myself paying for a mediocre meal for the prices they charge (this meal was Dad's treat). read more

Excellent food! I'm on weight watchers diet but how can I resist that warm bread that they serve to start your meal. Great steaks of course...so I save my points just to eat the bread, get a decent size steak and get veggies on the side. The service is ok, I have no complaints either. INCOMPETENT! I am so sick and tired of them getting my order wrong. I called in and was told 30 minutes. I got there and it took 60 minutes total from when I placed it. I got all the way home and they got my order wrong. THIS HAS HAPPENED THE LAST 3 TIMES STRAIGHT I HAVE BEEN THERE! I call and the guy says, 'well, when you come back just day blah blah blah'... I WOULD GIVE THIS OUTBACK ZERO STARS IF I COULD. My order is wrong every single time I go to this place. In fact, I'm not even sure why I decided to give it another shot tonight. Anyway, me and 3 friends ordered curbside for dinner. My steak was undercooked, my friend ordered fish and it was most definitely BAD as it had a rancid rancid rancid smell, and my other friend actually had a long nasty black hair in her meal. No bread or butter when my friend specifically requested it when she placed the order. Waited 40 minutes outside for curbside to go and the place was practically empty. Food was cold by the time we got back to her house to eat (she lives a whole 30 seconds from the place)And to top it all off, we ordered four pieces of cheesecake and only received one. I called up to ask for a manager and was put on with the "owner," Duff, and told him what happened. He was rude, nasty, and totally inappropriate. He literally denied leaving the cheesecake out of the order and refused to have us come pick them up when we already paid. How messed up is that? Their cheesecake isn't a 2.99 slice of a cake!!! After arguing back and forth for ten minutes, he then started to curse me off using words that I won't repeat because I don't want to get this review removed. Others need to see what a terrible establishment this is. But, let's just say he called me a female dog and another 4 letter word that starts with C and ends with T. This outback restaurant needs new cooking staff. The food was cooked half assed. The lobster tail needed more cooking, every tough to get out of it's shell. Steak looked frozen. Waiter staff was excellent. read more

Some of the worst service I've ever experienced. We were seated right away in a nearly empty restaurant. It took 10 minutes for a waiter to come over with bread and he said he'd bring us drinks since we "just sat down" and needed time to look at the menu. Uh, just sat down? Nope. Anyway, ordered drinks. We ate the bread whike waiting. Almost 10 minutes later... Drinks! Wow. That was hard. We ordered. Steak with salad and fries. More bread comes. No drink refills apparently even though the waiter walked by multiple times. At least 20 minutes later and still no salad, even though we got more bread to "go with the salad." At this point it's been 45 minutes and we don't even have salad. I must reiterate... The restaurant is nearly empty. What the heck is everyone doing? And still, no drink refills. Finally, at about the 50 minute mark we get salads and a drink refill. Someone else brings the steak out a few minutes later while we are still eating the salad. My guess is tge salad had been ready for a while but it just didn't make it to us. We are finished eating (and again empty on drinks) before the waiter bothers to check on us. We ask for the check because we need to go. It's been over an hour, we're done eating and we have an appointment to get to. The second star in this review is because we had no complaints with the food. After that service, though, if I am back in the area, I will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

My family went to this Outback location to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday. Our server was pleasant, when he was around. After placing our order we had to request beverages again when our appetizer was delivered. My steak, which I ordered medium rare, was delivered well done. By the time the replacement arrived, my family was done eating. Consequently, I only ate about half of my steak because I felt uncomfortable eating when everyone else was done. Finally, we had to ask another server to send our server to our table because we were tired of waiting for him to ask for the check. If this were the first time I had eaten at Outback I certainly wouldn't go back. As it is, I will never go to this location again. read more

Me and my boyfriend ate dinner here tonight (December 26, 2017) and it was good. We only have one complaint, if u could even call it that. Our server was Max; he was very nice, knowledgable and helpful with our questions and personable. The only thing is at the end of the meal we left him a 48% tip. We're both servers and have worked in this industry for ten plus years and know how hard the job is so we always leave a hefty tip, but after we gave him the payment with the tip we never got a formal thank you or some kind of "thank you very much, I appreciate it" or "that was very kind of you" or something along that line. It's not a huge problem or anything but normally I would just expect when someone leaves you a very large tip on a small check or just a large tip in general you should be thankful and appreciate and make sure the guest knows this. It's something I always do and would have liked in return. It almost felt like he was trying to avoid us afterwards; we made eye contact several times after giving him his tip and never heard from him again. Again it's not a big issue but we just felt a little upset but overall it was a nice experience and our service was good. :) read more

I went to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner tonight and the food was not good. I was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered a Caesar salad and a grilled chicken dinner and it was not what I imagined. I came with a hearty appetite but left hungry like I never ate dinner. The salad is very small, and my dinner portion looked like it was for a young child off the kids menu. It came on a really small plate with a very small piece of chicken and not enough fries. I was not a happy customer when I left the restaurant. I don't think I will ever go back to an Outback Steakhouse again because it lacks good food. read more

instead of pizza or hero sandwiches our usual delivery, my wife and i thought we would splurge and order steak dinners last night, big mistake. our order was accepted, noted by text at 6:40. we were told we would have our dinners in an hour. at 7:50 we got a text the order was going out for delivery and would be to us by 8:07. at 8:15 we still didnt have it. my wife called and was told "well, it's on the way." we waited until 8:35, still no sign of it,and called again. I asked my wife to tell them to call the driver and cancel the delivery...it was now 2 hours and we still didnt have our order. i didnt know where it was or for how long, but,i was sure the fried bloomin onion was a soggy mess and the steaks cold and salads wilted...we didnt want the $70 meal. the response from the girl on the phone was not sorry, or let me get the manager, or we will make good on the order - instead it was simply "whatever!". there was still a chance to salvage the mess they had made at that point and likely reel in a future customer, but, their training and customer concern is obviously really poor. so, they lost us completely at that point. 10 minutes later the delivery guy showed up with a bag of food. i told him not to leave it that we asked they call him and tell him we canceled the order. said i was sorry he made the trip but didnt know whether the bad service was on his part or the restaurants. he said he was sorry and it wasnt on his end. another ten minutes go by and we get a call from the same girl at outback, not the manager or even a supervisor. there was no apology - she said, "i talked to my manager and we see the order was delivered, we will cover it" too little and mostly WAY TOO LATE, just like everything else they couldnt provide. read more

Outback has excellent food for an affordable price. I was very ecstatic about the service I had and the waitresses/waiters are attractive. The only thing not so pleasing was the dead flies or sleeping flies on the back wall decor. There were at least 100 flies not moving. I was so disgusted, I wanted to regurgitate the food I had just eaten. That is gross! It is not fly to have flies dead on a picture over your plate. It is like hearing all of them sing in unison, "Commmmme fly with meeeee!" read more

I dined there last saturday. Steak was a little salty but noy bad for the money. I would have liked a little less seasoning. service was above average and we waited just a little longer for our food than i wanted too since we were trying to get to a movie on the other side of route 22. i would definately return. read more

they no longer carry the shrimp on the Barbie, but the menu say they have the "new shrimp on the Barbie. its misleading. no more remoulade sauce. so I wont be back. a couple of years, they renovated the place but since then the menu choices have dwindled. I will not be back. read more
