9oz Filet and Steamed Lobster Tail
    Natalie J.

The steak was a decent cut of 9oz filet, the portions on the lobster tail and sweet potato are small $50 for that part. It's been like 15 years since I had a bloomin onion and it was tasty. The star of the show was the bloomin onion $12.99. We had a gift card we needed to use from here and there total for this meal and a serloin and chicken breast was about $136 with tip. The waiter was attentive and even with a crowded restaurant our food came up quickly. Probably won't be back any time soon unless I'm craving that Bloomin onion.

Friday, 4/4/2025 - dinner at Outback!

Friday, 4/4/2025 - Nice staffs. Our waitress didn't really check in on us. We ran out of water and thirsty. They musta been busy or short staff. I didn't see all the tables filled with people or anything. But it was a typical night. Prime rib was on the dry side. But the rub on the outside of it was good. It was still good even if it was on the the dry side. Pasta with the mini steak and shrimp was good, onion soup was good, ahi and salad was good. We were too full to get dessert. Lots of parking.

    What I received

If there was a 0 they would earn that. I ordered the new Aussie SLICED Steak Sammie. You'll see in the picture what I received versus what I ordered. And there are no cooks the manager herself is cooking the meals when I asked about my sandwich she was like it's the same I cut it and sliced it myself hmm yeah not the same and then she had the audacity to say oh I guess I can take if off your bill ? Are you for real lady? She was rude and argued it was the same and if your food is taking forever it's because the manager is cooking it herself

Fantastic New Years Eve dinner! It was about a 20 min wait to sit. Food was hot, fresh and fairly quick to come out for being busy! Service was pleasant also for such a busy night. The steak was great & cooked to order. We don't often eat steak, but when we do this place is a great choice.

Most of the food was average to slightly below average. The burger was a little dry, the fried shrimp was mostly breading and bland. The chicken strips were nice and crispy. Some of the fries were crispy and others soft. The side Caesar salad was a little soggy, but overall good (wish there were a bit more croutons). The wings were the star of the meal for us. The sauce was unique and they were crispy. I wouldn't make a point to go out of my way to come here to get wings, but if I come back, the wings are what I am ordering. Our server was fantastic. The atmosphere was very family friendly. *** average food **** above average food. ***** Unique and delicious food. Make the drive.

I can't believe I paid $44 for this! Door dashed it. So small. Won't do that again. I don't understand why I have to leave 85 characters to leave a review. The steak wasn't that big.

The Aussie 3 Course Meal Special
    Marie H.

I called ahead and asked if this location was honoring the advertised offer of The Aussie 3 Course Meal. They said YES! When we arrived we were given the menu, there was NO 3 Course Meal on the menu. I asked the server, she gave us a small card with the special on it, and told us it was the only copy they had. They were honoring the deal, but sure promoting it. We felt everyone that wasn't offered the special menu was being deceived!

    Steak Sammie

My husband and I had dinner here with friends. Lori gave us very good service. I thought the food was average. I had an Aussie steak Sammie and a premium salad with ranch dressing. My husband had a steak Sammie. The ambiance is nice.

Wow, not too shabby at all for a chain!!! Restaurant was clean and inviting. Service was great during lunch hour on a saturday, and the food was surprisingly tasty! i had the Spicy Jammin Meatloaf, and i couldn't stop stuffing my face until the i licked my plate clean! the fries were also excellent! nice and crispy, perfecto!!! And their honey wheat bushman bread....OMG!!! eyes rolling to the back of my head good!!! Our waitress was very accommodating and pleasant. Answered all our questions, refilled our waters on several different occasions, and gave us everything we asked for in a timely manner! I may just have to head back to another Outback and give their steaks a taste test!

Awesome customer service! Our server, Dawn, was great. She did everything she could to ensure a wonderful dining experience. This was our fourth visit here this year and the manager has always made sure to stop by our table to make sure everything was going well. We love their specials for lunch and dinner. I recommend their Aussie Burger and Ahi entree or appetizer. The bar plays nice ambient music and has great servers as well. Their "no rules, just right" was accurate and appreciated.

She was so kind, super attentive, and made a point to make eye contact and engage with everyone at the table. It was my dad's birthday, and they brought out a birthday treat for him, which was such a nice, thoughtful touch. However, the check-in process was very uncomfortable. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. As an adult, being talked about rather than talked to was rude and honestly pretty embarrassing. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication.

So it's more of a special/high-end experience. Longhorn, by contrast, is a more "every day" family steakhouse experience. It's what a good old-fashioned steakhouse should be. If you want to go into a dark, wood-paneled, bar-like establishment with red vinyl booths and mob bosses meeting in back rooms, you're better off at something like Durant's. This is not that. What great steak! As I said, the best we've had in the west valley. Excellent cuts, top quality meats. Cooked perfectly and as asked for. Tender, flavorful steak and the best baby-back ribs Ive ever had. For once they're not drenched in sticky-sweet, cheap BBQ sauce and overcooked. Nope, these were moist and fork-tender. The burgers are fantastic and the ribeye is juicy and full of flavor. The sirloin is top notch and the "Flo's Special" filet mignon is just perfect. The sides here are particularly good. The broccoli is unusually good and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese is legendary. It's hearty and gooey and very cheesy. Excellent. The potatoes are standard but very tasty and come with all the fixings. For dessert, the strawberry shortcake is my favorite. It's delicate and not cloyingly sweet. It's a delicate, light, fresh-tasting and very moist cake. The perfect finish to an excellent meal. You can't go wrong here. It's always packed, so do the waitlist before you arrive. Really good.

Feel free to post my full visit from your security footage! My husband, kids, and I stopped in for an early dinner, we had never been but see the reviews online so we wanted to try it out! Getting seated, we didn't want a high top and it was the only thing available. The hostesses couldn't give us an estimate of what the wait time would be for a different table, but I'm realizing after our horrendous experience- they probably weren't trained. We ended up just taking the high top to negate any further confusion with a time estimate. It's crowded inside, and your table is crowded. The energy and atmosphere is tense and overwhelming. It's a sports bar, though- so I feel like that's consistent with any other sports bar you'd pop in to. We decided on the build your own appetizer to start, it came out room temperature. While our server was taking our order for the rest of the food (there was apparently an issue with the table next to ours and their food being taken to the incorrect table, again with poor training) the manager went out to the table next to ours to deliver food and turned to the server at my table, taking my order, and interrupted me to yell at her. He yelled at her about putting the incorrect table on the tickets and the food going to the wrong table, yelled at her the right table numbers( I guess for her to remember next time?), and then stormed off. Leaving our server, to pick up the pieces and apologize for an emotionally triggered man that should have some self control if he's leading a team or part of a company. I was absolutely disgusted with the behavior of the leadership in this establishment and the food was unremarkable. Cold, bland, and stingy is how I would describe the food we were served. There were barely any cheese curds on the Poutine, The Ole Smokey pizza was mediocre and the pasta was bland. I think this restaurant rides the coattails of being on the food network but it does not meet expectations, by far. There is a lack of training all around and that falls on leadership, only. The hostesses couldn't give a wait time, the bartender was over serving customers (I'm reporting that separately to the state), and the servers/runners aren't fully trained for the floor- but instead of teaching, training and finding a resolution- their lead will berate and belittle them to satisfy his ego and ruin your experience. I'm actually grateful the food was as mediocre as it was because I'm happy to never be back.

I was disappointed. I'll start with the positives - the service was impeccable. Absolutely perfect! Attentive, not too much, not too little, and very pleasant. The food was good. Not great, given the prices, but very good. What really, really bothered me was the environment. There is supposed to be a dress code for all Morton's restaurants across the country. This particular location clearly did not enforce it. People were there in flip flops, swimsuit cover, bandanas around their heads, torn t-shirts, shorts, and other sloppy clothing. When I come to a restaurant and pay at least $72 for a steak, I expect the dress code to be enforced. It was truly disappointing. As a side note, not that this is the restaurant's responsibility, but if you are coming to a high-end restaurant, learn some manners. I'm talking to the 30-ish woman sitting near us who was talking loudly, licking the bowls and her plate, chewing with her mouth open, and food was falling out, and allowed her cell phone to ring loudly while she ignored it and kept on with her disruptive and inappropriate behavior. She was dressed in a faded, frayed t-shirt, and dirty shorts. This is not how any neurotypical adult should behave in an upscale restaurant (truly, any restaurant). Anyway, overall, I was disappointed, and so was my husband. We like to frequent high end steakhouses, and we both agreed that Morton's would be last on our list to come to again.

Understandably so. The restaurant has a rustic feel with heavy wood beams and neutral-colored artwork throughout. It's warm, comfortable, and exactly what you would expect from a modern steakhouse. Service was very good. Could it have been a little faster? Sure. But I'm not going to knock them for that. It was Father's Day and I don't think I saw a single employee standing still the entire time we were there. In fact, one of my favorite parts of the experience was sitting close enough to the kitchen to hear everyone communicating. It sounded like a well-oiled machine. Organized, professional, and honestly pretty cool to witness. We started with the cinnamon rolls. They were fine. Nothing I am going to dream about later, but certainly nothing to complain about either. As for the entrees, my wife ordered the French toast, my father had the brunch burger, my father-in-law went with the smothered sausage biscuit sandwich, and I ordered the steak and egg tacos. Honestly? Everyone was happy. My tacos were loaded with well-seasoned, medium-rare steak and were exactly what I was hoping for. The cocktails were mighty tasty as well. Then came my favorite part of the meal. As we were wrapping up brunch, their whimsical manager stopped by and handed each of us dads a gift card to come back as a simple Father's Day thank-you. Completely unexpected, completely unnecessary, and exactly the kind of small gesture that people remember. Good food gets you in the door. Good hospitality gets you to come back. Firebirds delivered both, and my family would happily return.

I went with the Prime Rib Tacos... and I have been dreaming about them since! You get three good-sized tacos, so I was able to bring plenty home for another meal. The Prime Rib Tacos are AMAZING!! Always looking forward to my next trip to The Toast! Overall rating: *****FIVE STARS***** Gluten-free rating: *****FIVE STARS*****

They retain their workers for many years some since the place opened. We ordered the beer cheese appetizer and they gave us so much cheese. We had to order more bread to go with it, but they gave that to us complementary. We did not want to waste one bit of it.!! We went there after a ceremony and so we were celebrating. The Prada, my favorite drink in a long time. A mix of grapefruit and pomegranate martini. I can still taste it. Anything you order will be awesome. It's far from her house, but I definitely will be back at some point. Try the pretzels they're hot and wonderful part of an appetizer. The bruschetta was different than I thought it was going to be again very tasty and well presented. I love supporting Mom and pop restaurants. This is definitely one worthy of much support.

We bookmarked this place after seeing people rave about it on Facebook back when we moved here 4…read moreyears ago. We finally went and I will say it was pretty disappointing. You can tell everyone there are local regulars. Probably their go to weekend dinner spot. It was odd they were playing Patch Adams on the tv screen. The smell was off. Kind of like old seafood. Our server was a nice guy and our busser, now she stood out! I am horrible with names so I can't remember their names. But the busser was so full of personality and loved her! Everyone else there just seemed like robots with zero personality. We were sat right in front of the kitchen where the gals just stood there to run food out. Definitely a lot of employees for a small place. We wanted to start with the cheese fondue then got told it's no longer on the menu. Our waiter recommended the kettle chips. Husband isn't a fan of Gorgonzola so he suggested doing half parm cheese half Gorgonzola so it worked out. Chips seemed freshly cooked. Not greasy. Served with what tasted like buffalo or franks red hot sauce. It all worked and tasted good. I got a side caesar salad and I must say. That wasn't a Caesar. It had sad iceberg lettuce and a dressing that was on the sweet side. Kind of reminded me more of a thousand island or creamy french dressing. Not worth $8. Meal wise we each ordered the vogue steak which was basically steak and fries. Fries were hot and crispy. The steak was supposed to be a prime grade flat iron but it was tough. The portion size was actually comical. It looked like they took a normal piece of steak and cut it in half. Gave half to me and half to the husband. I even asked the waiter if they split one meal for us or if it was 2 meals. He said it was 2 meals and that was actually the largest steak they had. Last we had dessert. They were kind enough to treat me to a dessert for my birthday. The creme brulee was good. It's weird to me when it's served warm. But it was good. At the end of our meal someone next to me ordered the fish special that I considered ordered. But I was glad I did not. Being a huge seafood lover, the smell coming from that fish was horrible. I honestly got sick to my stomach and had to get out of the place. Not sure why it was so foul. Overall. I don't think we will be back. We didn't seem to fit in with the crowd of retired people. Service by the waiter and busser were great.
