Another great dinner experience at Outback Steakhouse Visalia. Went with my boys and some of their friends. We had the Aussie 3 course menu items. So much food for such a great price. Benji provided five-star service always at the ready keeping our drinks refilled. The ambiance was light and perfect to relax and just enjoy a very filling delicious meal. So much food we had ended up bringing the cheesecake home.

I love Outback Steakhouse, not so much for steaks but for their Alice Springs Chicken, their Coconut Shrimp, their Chili, their Caesar salads, their Chocolate Thunder from Down Under and some many other things. Their Prime rib is usually pretty good! I called in an order and drove up to the door and the gentleman was wonderful!

Everything was excellent. The restaurant had a large seating area including a full bar that was playing FIFA. Menu explains all the different cuts of steak which was helpful. Food was excellent. The steak cooked perfectly and the fries were the best I've had in a while. Best part was our waiter Elijah. He was friendly, fast and knowledgeable about menu. From start to end he made the dining experience memorable. Great job .

We purchased the Chicken on the Barbie based off the picture that was advertised. It came with two sides. We ordered the mashed potatoes and the Mac&Cheese. When we got the dinner, after paying almost $40 dollars, not including the delivery fees, we were so mad. Not only did Outback not send the Mac&Cheese, but the tiny side of mashed potatoes wouldn't feed a toddler. And don't get me started on how the chicken looked. Thier pictures grossly misrepresent what they actually provide. The picture I'm sending is after we had to add BBQ sauce to the chicken because it was so dry and burnt. But, I guess the stale loaf of bread they sent was supposed to clean that up. This is the second time Outback has messed up our order. We thought it was a fluke the first time, but they proved us wrong this time. We will never go there or order food from there again.

Came on a Thursday during dinner hour. Surprisingly, there was no wait. Restaurant was clean. We were immediately seated. Our waitress was quick and checked in every so often but not enough to feel rushed. Food temperature was excellent and most of all, food was delicious. I had not been at this restaurant in 5+ years so I was impressed.

Not the best experience. When someone brings out your food other than your server, that tells me my server was too preoccupied to serve it himself & that my plate had been sitting up there awhile. So when the server comes as someone else is serving me, like trying to save a play--I'm immediately dissatisfied. My mashed potatoes were cold, the Blooming onions were not so fresh, and the steak tasted like Liver. The only fresh part was my Asparagus. The Dragon Fruit drink, I didn't finish. That was a waste of $11. I knew I should have stuck with Iced Tea. Then it start to get busier & my check was nowhere to be found. I went to the restroom & on the way back my server asked if I wanted to pay for my check at the waiters station. Yep, because I want to get the heck outta here pronto. I bet he only noticed because I left the table & probably thought I walked out without paying for poor food service & quality. I'm staying clear of this place for a while. Only went because it's 6x the miles on my card. I felt like I wasted my time, my efforts, & my money today.

Great atmosphere. Good Music. Our server John was very attentive and friendly. Food was awesome. Pecan and blue cheese salad was a a delightful starter. Steak was cooked perfectly. Bread was delicious. Cheesecake with raspberry to go. Definitely would return when visiting Visalia had such a great dinner.

Gave this chain a try during the busy holiday season. Walked in for lunch and it was not busy at all but the wait was 15 or so minutes. Inside is quaint and lovely but I noticed zero holiday decor. Bah humbug! The server was attentive but the food took forever. Good thing they give you a complimentary bread starter. I noticed a large party of 12 a mix of children and adults all get their food from steaks to pasta and it looked great. After they left I walked by to go to the restroom and most of the food was left on the plate. I mean like one bite out of a steak and just left there. Sad and shocking waste of food but when I got my chicken I knew why. We waited forever for soup, salad and chicken and all of it was underwhelming. The chicken was encased in melted cheese. My sweet potato side was okay but the skin was hard and rubbery. I really didn't taste the honey butter. The potato soup was watery and had no flavor. I realize now why there was an empty restaurant during a busy holiday week.

Honestly, I haven't been back here quite some time, but I was craving some steak and a quiet place to eat. I was not disappointed. The service was excellent. My steak was delicious and the potato was perfect. The only complaint I have is that the blooming onion was a bit too oily other than that. I will definitely be back.

What worked: -- servers and staff were all very kind -- there's decent menu variety and something for everyone to enjoy -- the music and vibe inside was a nice mix of busy yet intimate, it's a great place for a date or fancy night out What didn't work: -- I think this is likely due to it being Valentines Day, but the service was pretty spotty. Servers almost gave us someone else's food twice and it took a while for our food to get to our table. -- my dish (shrimp primavera) could have had a little more going for it! The pasta and veggies could have been a little more seasoned (and I would have loved more veggies), and the shrimp was waaaaay too salty, it was difficult to eat it all. It definitely wasn't a bad dish but a few small tweaks could have made it really wonderful Overall, I'd come here again! I think this might have just been an off night and I'd love to return to try some of their other dishes. The environment was a pleasant one to be in and I enjoyed the meal (and, of course, the company).

Unfortunately their specialty cocktails weren't included but they were reasonably priced regardless. *Artichoke, Spinach, and Cheese Dip: had a grainy, chunky texture made predominantly from the artichoke. There needed a better mixer and creamy element. The flavors resembled a thick pesto. The toasted bread was the best part. *Spicy Calamari: nicely fried but a tad too salty. Would have appreciated a lemony component to cut through the grease. *Garlic Fries: thicker cut with slight crisp. They were garlicky but the Parmesan left a strange aftertaste. *Green Tea Shot: pleasantly fruity and the pour was generous. The service was friendly and we look forward to when they'll hold music nights again. Ultimately the drinks tasted better than the food. Although not perfect, the pricing makes Sebby's the ideal post work spot. I hope Sebby's hones in their flavors and textures they're aiming for so then people can come for the food too.

There were two options: the full experience rodizio or the salad bar and side dishes only. However, when we were seated, we were immediately told the instructions for the full experience. Personally I would only do the full experience as the salad bar wasn't varied or tasty enough for the $34.95 price tag. The salad bar and hot foods were on the mushier side. I wished the sauces were formatted in a different format as the chimichurri sauce was very far from the edge. Hence, there was a high risk of cross contamination and spillage. The mustard pasta salad was bland and limp. The potato salad fared a similar dull taste and resembled a starchy lump. The tomatoes were grainy and dry. The pao de queijo was disappointedly under the ray of death so they weren't too hot nor crispy. I wished my party got to experience fresher baskets of bread. =FULL EXPERIENCE= We were told that there were 17 available meats but we only experienced some of them. However, we enjoyed how we got to taste them when they were hot and cooked perfectly. *Picanha: one of my favorites. The fat cap was rendered and seasoned well. The meat was medium rare, tender and juicy. This had the greatest beef flavor. *Chicken with Bacon: the chicken was tender but the bacon had a stronger smokey flavor. The bacon shone more than the chicken. *Pork Belly: my other favorite piece. There were bits of fat dispersed throughout so it was moist and flavorful. There was subtle crispiness from the fat browning. *Spicy Linguica: the spice was subtle and the casing gave a satisfying snap. The interior was juicy but it was on the saltier side. *Pork Ribs: surprisingly tender and fall of the bone. The sauce was a sweeter barbeque and the ribs were on the wetter side. There wasn't any smokiness, char or caramelization but the flavors and texture were still good. *Peppered Steak: on the tougher side but still oozed out meaty juice. *Garlic Steak: similar to the peppered steak only saltier. The garlic flavor wasn't very prominent and this piece left me thirsty. I would have preferred a garlic sauce as opposed to the concentrated garlic powder taste. *Tri Tip: the best option for a leaner cut. The meat was tender and juicy. This was similar in flavor to the picanha but without the fattiness. *Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple: the cinnamon hardened around the pineapple, offering a satisfying crunch followed by a gush of sweet fruitiness. The simplistically made this my favorite rendition from a Brazilian steakhouse. This was a great meal ender despite us getting flan afterwards. *NY Strip: this was a daily special. This was a leaner cut so the beefiness was prominent but I preferred the other meats with more fat. =A LA CARTE= Not included in the all you can eat experience. *Mojito: refreshing and citrusy. There was a good amount of alcohol included. *Pudim: great way to end the meal. The Brazilian flan was dense and creamy. There was a thin layer of caramel sauce on top but it wasn't too sweet. The portion size was nicely shareable between two people. Unfortunately, they didn't bring out the shrimp until we were full so we didn't get to try it. Otherwise the service was consistent and attentive. Our server even asked about which meats were our favorites so they could bring them back out for us. There were multiple groups celebrating birthdays and they brought out their staff to sing happy birthday. During an all you can eat experience, good service is the lifeline and this was some of the best service I've received. The ambiance was stellar and this was my favorite dining experience in the Central Valley. The meats blew the salad bar and sides out of the water so I would return just for that. Although this was a pricier option, the quality and service were 5 stars.

So having a massive jar of soda already right in front of me? Huge win. Now, moving on to the slightly traumatizing part: they did not bring out bread to the table. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but if I am sitting down for Italian, table bread is not an optional courtesy--it is a fundamental human right. And it became an even bigger issue when my fettuccine arrived, because the portion size was... let's just say aggressively small for a dinner entree. I was expecting a meal, not a decorative sample. However... it was infuriatingly good. They make their own pasta fresh in-house, and the texture was honestly undeniable. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza, and he literally declared--with complete, uncharacteristic enthusiasm--that it was hands-down the best Margherita pizza he has ever gotten. So, massive points there. What was not a massive point, however, was the subterranean seating situation. We were escorted downstairs into the basement, which was pitch black. But more importantly: the stairs are completely unlit. I'm sorry, but they are actively asking to get sued. It is a litigious nightmare waiting to happen. Someone is going to take one wrong step in the dark, tumble down that staircase, and own the entire restaurant by next Tuesday. They are practically begging for a lawsuit. That being said... despite the pitch-black staircase of death and the tragic lack of dinner rolls, overall? I really liked it. The food completely won me over, and I would definitely go back. I will just be bringing a flashlight and my own emergency focaccia next time.

Amazing experience. We went there on a Wednesday night for dinner, and ordered the sliders, which…read morethey offer as an option to have six sliders as a sample of all six of their full-size burgers. They were all outstanding, although I would say the Athena was my favorite. Or maybe the blue cheese. They came with potatoes, sauces made in house, and coleslaw which were delicious as well, and so was the beer and cider. Paula was an amazing waitress, and Daniel was the musical accompaniment, playing guitar and singing for tips. If he's there, I recommend his Ed Sheeran selection. Cannot praise this place more highly.

Right in the heart of downtown Visalia, this spot is perfect for a casual lunch. I ordered the…read moresliders, which let you pick three of their signature burgers in smaller portions--such a great way to sample a few options. I went with the Juju Bleu, Calamity Jane, and Betsy Ross. I'll admit, I'm usually not a fan of bleu cheese, so I'm not sure why I picked the Juju Bleu--but I'm glad I did. It was surprisingly delicious. The Betsy Ross was solid and classic, with Thousand Island sauce--tasty, though nothing particularly standout. The Calamity Jane was the clear winner for me; the combination of sautéed onions, barbecue sauce, and mushrooms was absolutely spot-on. We also upgraded our side to clam chowder. It had great flavor, though it was a bit thicker than I prefer--not a dealbreaker by any means. Service really made the experience shine. Paula was phenomenal--attentive, friendly, and quick to check in on us and keep everything running smoothly. Overall, this is a great spot for lunch with friends or coworkers. Since it's right on Main Street, parking can be a bit tricky, so I'd recommend using a nearby public lot and taking a short walk over.
