The reubens my companions had were pretty good, their salad (the full salad because the side salads are very small) was OK. My disappointment in this place was that I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato bisque combo, and after about 10 minutes the waiter came by and said that the bisque was only available in winter. So they could either run across the street to Bullock's grocery and buy a can of tomato bisque, or take a pen and cross out the combo on their paper menus. One or the other. Maybe the pizzas are good, but good pizzas are everywhere. read more

Tried Outer Edge for the first time tonight and we loved it. Fresh baked pizza and salads. Can't wait to try other menu items and take advantage of what the deli has to offer. All homemade pizza crusts. Really good gluten free thin crust pizza! I started with the Greek salad, yummy with their own vinaigrette! Continued the theme with the Greek pizza with added sausage crumbles. It was SO GOOD! It has a garlic oil base instead of marinara that was fantastic. Hubby had the spaghetti and meatballs and enjoyed. The portions were large. We ate and brought home lunch for the next day. I had my pizza cold and it was still delicious. We were dying for some pizza and could not have made a better decision to go to Outer Edge. There is no denying they were a bit flustered with the phones, togo orders and dining guests. They were out of a few items. Despite all that their customer service was INCREDIBLE. Ashley (I believe was her name) and the other server on 4/29 were hustling but also incredibly kind. Now the food. We were BLOWN away. The pizza (we got the one with harissa sauce) was loaded with toppings, the crust was incredible and the wings basically fell off the bone. We ordered chocolate cake and cheese cake togo. Ashely was kind enough to throw in two homemade creampuffs to make up for the wings that took a little longer. Honestly, I wish we ordered 10 creampuffs instead. The cakes were great, but nothing compared to those puffs! Listen. It's a small, laid back town. If you're in a hurry or looking for a 5 star restaurant experience, probably not your place. If you've got some patience and want to be treated kindly before getting incredible food. We enjoyed prompt, courteous service from the time we were seated until we left! A couple of us ordered Ruebens, with a side salad. The salad is super generous, and i only ate half with half of the ample, delicious sandwich. Quality, tasty and well worth it. My partner and I came through Truth or Consequences on a Tuesday-Thursday not knowing most things in town are closed those days. I'm also vegan and he's vegetarian, making things even more tricky. Luckily Outer Edge, which has been open for a month, was open on Wednesday and we went for lunch and took home leftovers for dinner. We got the hummus/harissa appetizer which was really good and a regular pizza and a veggie pizza without cheese/meat (The Supreme). I don't normally love cheeseless pizzas as a vegan option but the flavor was great and the roasted garlic was a great replacement for cheese. We stopped in on our way out of town after leaving Elephant Butte. It's cute, but small on the inside. The bathrooms are outside. They had a more extensive menu than we had anticipated and so many things caught our eye. We decided to order the chopped cheese beefsteak sandwich and chose a side salad as our side. The side salad was gorgeous and big enough for us to share. The herbal vinaigrette dressing was outstanding. Our sandwich came out next and the meat was delicious and wasn't fatty nor gristly. It came with a side of thousand island dressing and that was tasty. We loved every bite. Lastly we ordered a small pepperoni pizza because we had heard how good their pizzas were. The pizza was gorgeous and cooked perfectly. What made the experience even better was our server, Ashley. She was personable, knowledgeable, and well organized. She had 4 other tables besides us, and gave them all great service. We will definitely be back as we frequent the lake often in the warmer months. read more

Our group of 4 was greeted and seated promptly. We all ordered the house margarita, which is made with agave wine, and all proclaimed it quite good. The pizzas are 10" size, so we ordered and shared a Greek, West Coast, Livestock, and a White pizza. Each pizza was cooked to perfection and wonderfully flavored. It was a tie between the Livestock (sausage, pepperoni, BACON, ham with a tomato sauce base-yum!) and the White pizza (goat cheese, Parmesan, crème fresh - soooo good) as our favorite pizzas. This is honestly one of the best restaurants ever and I am so glad it landed in this little town. The pizzas, while smaller, are so delicious with specialty toppings and so much flavor and very filling for their size. The salads are fresh and have plenty of dressing. Couldn't believe the portions and quality on their sandwiches, it could have easily fed 3 people. The service is always friendly and quick and the takeout time is fast. It's not easy to find a takeout (or dine in) spot around here that actually cares about their product or customers, so this is a real treat. Looking forward to outdoor dining in the future and hopefully beer too. In the meantime we will be getting takeout very often.
