Latte and veggie scramble with English muffin.

Comfortable outdoor seating with shade and cute patio garden decor and Friendly service. I had a latte, veggie scramble with an English muffin and the sweetest watermelon ever. All delicious. Very nice way to start my vacation morning.

Rich with character and history, not to mention great food, Outlaw Coffee is truly a hidden gem. A classic "mom & pop" diner, Outlaw is run by a husband and wife team. While our cycling group kinda over-ran their normal capacity, the service was fast, friendly and welcoming. I don't normally comment about the coffee but since this is a Coffee Shop / Cafe, I thought I would. I'm not sure what it is but their basic black coffee was delicious. I believe they serve Blind Dog. I don' know the specific blend, but it was oddly delicious. I ordered "The Original" but wrapped as a breakfast burrito. Pretty standard fare of bacon, potatoes, eggs and cheese, wrapped in a tortilla. What made this special was the execution and preparation. The burrito was flavorful and moist (no dry burritos here!). The tortilla was grilled a bit, giving it a nice snap when you bit in. Love these truly local gems

New owners, new patio pavers, cleaned and cleared in many ways. Menu updated, still stocking liquors for addition to drinks. Looking forward to more meals here!

My family is local to Verdi and loved this place the food was always really good but today we found a hair in our breakfast burrito and it put us all off from eating the rest. $90 for 4 breakfast burritos we've never had complaints but they have not done anything to resolve this major issue

Found this hidden gem! The breakfast sandwich was so good, I fell in love with their hazelnut latte. Definitely recommend!!!

We love this little place. They are a small staff and kitchen, but they aim for quality. Friendly owners and good food and coffee is always a win. They have a lot of cyclists coming through and getting a cup of water and a snack. We sat out on their new patio, which is lovely. A go-to spot for me when I'd like a chill place to sip and munch on a Sunday morning.

Small but mighty cafe with friendly staff! Me and my sister made a quick pit stop to refuel our bodies and we were greatly with utmost hospitality. We ordered the outlaw burritos and pleasantly surprised with how great these were! I would come here again to enjoy a coffee and burrito in their outdoor patio next time.

Excellent food, people, and Java. I had the breakfast sandwich on a super good English muffin from Truckee Sourdough. Their English muffin offers secret powers on this sandwich. Stop by on your bike ride or after a hike on the Truckee river trail with your pups. Outdoor seating and tiny indoor space with just enough space for the coffee machine. Free parking out here and a distillery next door. Whatch out!

I actually really like this concept that has been popping up recently in a lot of hip and popular places around Reno -- casual, easy, and efficient. They also have bakery items, and one of our favorites is the almond bear claw. So good! This time we had the lox toast and avocado toast with bacon. Both choices were absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed breakfast or coffee spot in Reno.

Parking is sufficient but not plentiful and I would say weekends could get congested. Bring your patience. While there is great seating inside, the patio are is the place to be. So cute. I ordered the breakfast burrito with Chorizo. Prepared with egg, potato, cheese and protein of your choosing, the burrito was solid. I do like that they "crispen" the tortilla on a panini grill. Nice. My coffee was nothing special, just black coffee. I will say the flavor was rich and satisfying and not bitter at all. A friend commented that Walden's has the best Cappuccino. I'll let you be the judge of that. Always a treat after a ride.

My plate had a generous 4 pieces of nicely batted fish and the fries were great. My wife's burger looked great too. We both said we'd come back again. Not knowing what to expect, I was surprised that it has a dimly lite bar and small dining area, but locals had the bar well occupied while we had one other couple enjoying the cuisine. The staff were attentive to our needs and the food worth going back for. I was impressed!

The ambiance is kind of hole-in-the-wall with a focus on big foot, of course. I liked it. Eclectic but cool. Service was great and i ordered fish tacos and side of onion rings. There were many good things i saw on the menu but wanted a little lighter lunch and ordered fish. The fish was good with a light batter but the taco garnish didn't fit the bill. There was way too much pico and white sauce, with not a lot of flavor. But the big detractor was the layer of cheddar cheese on the bottom. Cheese, in general, does not pair well with fish but definitely not a yellow cheese. The strong cheese taste overpowered the fish. I think they need to alter their tacos based on the protein. The heavy cheese and pico might work with chicken or pork but a more citrus based slaw is needed for fish. The helping of three tacos was generous and i did finish it but by the end i had to scrape the cheese and most of the pico out. The onion rings were a soft and heavy batter. I prefer a very light batter that crisps up in the fryer so i left half the order uneaten. I would not order the fish tacos again and would probably pivot to fish n chips. That said i will visit again and try some of the other menu items that looked really good to me. That will likely improve this rating.
