I got a drip coffee at about 5:15 this evening and it was room temperature! How can you even do that? Totally unsatisfactory. Wow!

We wanted to stop at Boomtown for the first night, and were excited to get there and hit the seafood buffet.

This location is tucked in the…read moresmall but mighty Las Brisas Pavilions Plaze (the Squeeze-In and Keva Juice are also here). Parking is somewhat limited, but people were coming and going frequently. Really cool vibe inside with a high, industrial ceiling and lots of glass and light. You can see the coffee roasting taking place as you sit at one of the many tables and counter (there's also outside seating with a nice, open view). I came hoping to eat, but the food options were pretty limited. I think I just saw a breakfast sandwich and a few things in the pastry case. Although the coffee menu is extensive, I'm not a huge coffee drinker and was about to leave empty-handed when I saw the ad for the Coconut Ube Matcha. Everything about that sounded delicious. I was even happier when I ordered and saw the barista hand mixing the matcha (since at some places these flavors can be a pre-mix from a can). Wow, the matcha and the housemade coconut ube syrup did not disappoint. One of the best crafted tea drinks I've had. So good, it kinda made my morning. Will definitely be back!

This offer was at all locations except for the hospital one. I took my mom and we went on Sunday around 9:20 to the Northwest Reno location. When we got there, there was a small line with 4 groups ahead of us but the line moved fairly quickly given there were only 2 people working. I ordered a 12 oz iced breve mocha drogata and WOW! I loved it! You could really taste the mocha and the cinnamon. Immediate win for me! Theres indoor and outdoor seating and it's fairly quiet which would make a great place to study with their free WiFi.

The drinks are STRONG, and the food portions are absolutely massive especially considering how reasonable the prices are! We were so excited to celebrate my husband's birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. And you HAVE to love the decor it's quirky, fun, and totally fits the "come as you are" vibe. They also serve breakfast, so you can easily make this a morning stop or come by later for drinks and a big meal. Great drinks, huge portions, reasonable prices, welcoming staff, and an atmosphere that doesn't take itself too seriously. Definitely a place we'll be back to!

This time I'm here with my crew that I met up with in Sacramento on our way on 80 East heading towards Salt Lake City. This is gonna be a long drive but it beats flying with 5 people and all the gear we carry. WE pull into Sasquatch and go in. We get a table in the middle of the room. The inside looks just like it always did with that Sasquatch statue standing there. The service is super friendly and we all order drinks. No beer this time, we're all on the road and some of us gotta drive. I decide to get something different this time, the steamed clams. My guys get 2 of the steak sandwiches, one gets fish and chips and the one other girl on the crew gets a chicken salad of some sort. The food arrives in a decent amount of time. My clams look delicious, though I thought the clams were on the small side, but there were a lot of them. The steak sandwiches looked good as usual as did the fish and chips. Next time I think I might go back to the steak sandwich. The clams really didn't fill me up, but I got some fries off one of the guys. Sasquatch is still on my list of best places to stop to eat when traveling the 80 near Reno.
