We arrived a little late but we were still able to sit at the bar in the back, we enjoy sitting there and have several times. Service is always superb and immediate! We both had mimosas as it was Mother's Day. I had the Tucson scramble she enjoyed eggs Benedict. Both meals were plenty of food and fantastic!!

This diner is rather nostalgic as a Reno landmark has been operated under different names over the years. The ambiance inside was very clean and had the country kitchen vibe. The hostess, waiter and table attendant were exceptionally courteous and friendly. They kept our coffee flowing. They did not have heavy cream only milk or half and half. The eggs were cooked to order and the hash browns were perfect browned and crispy. The bacon was thick and yet still crispy, ham and sausage were also tasty. The biscuits and gravy were a little disappointing as the gravy was bland, thick and hardly any sausage pieces. The biscuits were average and not very browned. Overall this is a great stop for breakfast. It's very convenient and the people and food are great.

Just love this place. I have never ordered anything i did not love. From breakfast to lunch selections its a must try. Always busy but definitely worth the wait time. The servers are always smiling and friendly. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of this place. Conversations a plenty. Lots of noise but it adds to the overall environment of a busy restaurant. It's a fun family place.

Had brunch with one of my friends . We had about a 15 minute wait for a table . While we waited there was a steady flow of people coming and going. We were seated at a table right by the kitchen door.. It was ok until it wasn't. Not the worst experience. I had the Garden Benedict! It was better than I had expected! Their sauce is creamy and packed with flavor and the rest of the meal followed suit. Would like to try it for lunch and possibly have a more enjoyable seating experience

Our Reno favorite!! This is the spot, we love it here(and their second location down the way. The service here is second to none, the staff is always friendly and even when there is a wait it isn't very long before you are eating! Bin coming here for years now and their food is all excellent. Our top favorites are the "chile relleno" all the breakfast options are great but they also have a delicious burger and wraps for lunch. They make sure you can have it your way and we just love that. I bring my mom here and she's always so excited. Side note the coffee is so good too and refills always come quick. The place is clean warm and cozy and the decor makes you feel right at home. Treat yourself and eat at this place. Literally our favorite.

The Cup Cafe is one of my favorite local spots in Reno! It has the most homey atmosphere and the staff is always welcoming and friendly! The pancakes are fabulous and my go to is classic Eggs Benedict or huevos rancheros! You can't go wrong with this family owned spot and all of their homemade dishes!

I came here with my family to have brunch. It's a cute, small, and cozy cafe. I ordered a burger while the rest of my family ordered breakfast. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger and it was delicious! The fries were also crispy so that earned extra points in my book. Service was also really wonderful. Servers were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth to check out!

The cup is a cute little cafe, there is a mural greeting you, asking with the waiting area. The hostess got my name and number of party, wait time is approximately 30 minutes, not bad of the wait. I order the scrambler with toast and coffee. The scrambler has sausage with bell peppers and onion with home fries scrambled with eggs. I actually enjoyed the meal. It's good, rustic, homey feel. The servers are attentive. Even with a little mishaps. There was a spilled syrup on the seat, I accidentally sat on it. They are very apologetic. Especially my servers.

We visited The Cup Cafe for our first time recently after driving by many times and were so glad we did! The inside was cute and felt like the inside of a house. It was family friendly and they had coloring pages and crayons for the kids. The staff was friendly and service was quick and the food was delicious! We tried the chicken fried steak and pumpkin pancakes and both hit the spot. The food was all reasonably priced as well. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other breakfast or lunch options!

My first time into the cup I've been really wanting to go here and I was not disappointed. I loved it. The decor, the ambiance the waitresses were so friendly and the food is just delicious. We watched the cooks right there grill it all, make it all right in front of our eyes and the teapots were so darn. Cute was probably my favorite. All in all the food was delicious. I ordered chile relleno and it was delicious pancake that we always order for. The table was one of the most delicious pancakes I've ever tasted after I ate that I kind of wasn't hungry but I pressed on. My sister ordered steak and eggs. Steak was cooked perfectly the way she loves it. So guess what I'll be back

A cozy, bright breakfast spot with friendly staff, quick service, and a fabulous cup of coffee! Met a friend for breakfast to catch up and decided to try somewhere new. Safe to say...we will be back! I had the Tuscan scramble (order it and thank me later) and she had the bacon avocado Benedict (on my next order list). Both were very tasty and we chose the house potatoes for a side. I wish the potatoes had been crispier, but seasoned well and a great mo with peppers and onions.

I had waffles combo with banana pecan and it was very good. Service was fast as usual and i enjoyed my meal with coffee, of course. People are friendly and on the spot. My husband's french toast might have stayed longer in the pan than he liked and could have been better. Bright and clean just how we wanted. Overall, a great visit today.

I had the grinder sandwich and ate every single bite because it was so delicious. The crack and crumble of the bread was like a banh mi sandwich but filled with Italian ingredients. The only downside is their space is a bit tight for the amount of business they bring in and timing is essential to enjoy your experience here if you can grab a seat at the right time. We definitely added them back to our regular list of places to visit for our bakery needs on the mornings and weekend brunch.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

I was really excited to come here especially seeing other people with celiac leaving a review. I am very well versed in cross contact. I live me entire life managing cross contact and working through picking a meal I can eat. Some people just want to focus on the existence of cross contact. That was our server. She barely let me speak, she interrupted, wasn't answering my actual question about what kind of toaster they used and what grill the bread is heated on, etc because she wanted to repeat the existence of cross contact. Good lord. I was one second away from walking out. She was a really piece of work. She then upped the "nice" factor to call me sweetie the rest of the meal which makes me want to crawl out of my skin. Honestly, I am very flexible, I think this place may be better than my first impression but this server needs to be retrained to LISTEN to the customer and answer questions and not just make it an effort to drive people out. This is a few minutes of her time, and I have to live my entire life like this without treatment until I die, so a little kindness and active listening is really a minimal effort for a few minutes every now and then. 3 stars is generous. Food was ok. Restaurant was clean, but the servers need to learn to interact with humans better with more kindness and better listening skills.

Great atmosphere, fantastic artisan food, and very reasonable prices given the portion sizes and quality! The only thing that would make it better is if it was right on the river instead of a block away but prices would probably be higher if that were the case. Everything we had at brunch was fantastic. I don't think you can miss here on the menu. The duck pizza was fantastic but I wouldn't characterize the amount of cheese and toppings as 'generous' but it tasted like the ingredients were really high quality. Outside the pizza, the other items were very generous portions for the price. My only concern was where was everyone on a Sunday early afternoon? The place was like 20% full. The brunch menu is fantastic and there's even all you can drink mimosas and bloody mary's for $25! Unfortunately, we were stuck back in the rear corner of the building on this visit. The vibes back there are not nearly as nice as the up-front dining. Service was still good even though we were out of view of the main dining area. We started with the cauliflower appetizer. Very well cooked, perfectly tender, and the Calabrian chili oil was perfect for adding some spice. We then ordered entrees, which included the duck duo and a Caesar salad. The Caesar is nothing to write home about. It's fresh and from scratch, but it's just a Caesar. The duck duo came with both duck confit and duck breast. The duck confit was unreal. So tender and so flavorful. The duck breast was a bit tough for my liking, but I really enjoyed the sauce they used on the dish. Most of all, I was shocked by how good the dessert was. We ordered the cast-iron chocolate cake, and it was unbelievable. The sauce that bubbles away in the hot cast iron was spooned onto the rich cake and topped with vanilla ice cream. Nothing better! I miss the old Liberty that used to offer daily specials and killer deals on pasta and pizza, but the new Liberty ain't so bad. It might be a bit more pricey, but still a reasonable option for a nice dinner out in Reno.
