Only one waitress at lunchtime. But she was really good. Small place, tends to get crowded at dinner (I was told by a friend). We arrived early for lunch and there was still one booth and one table for two available. There were also two tables for 6. By the time we left, it was pretty busy. I opted for the blackened rib eye sandwich. I asked for medium rare, I got medium rare. Sandwich was way too much for me to eat. Took half home for dinner. Nancy opted for the Chicken Wrap .. also took half of it home. Funky little place with a full sized Sasquatch for decor. Food was excellent. Would definitely go back to try other options. For us it was a 20 minute drive from downtown Reno, but worth the trip.

Generous portions of fish and chips with a side of cole slaw salad. The prime rib dip and fries were good also. Service was good. Ambiance is lively, loud but fun. Outdoor seating available but was busy on a Sunday.

FUN place! Great food, easy to find in little Verdi NV. Service? Really confusing. Everyone who came in after us had their food -and in one case finished their food- before we saw ours. We were not in a hurry but we were annoyed. However we were so happy with the food that the rating had to be 5 stars. I had the steak quesadilla and my friend had the giant chicken caesar wrap. Both super flavorful and enough for 2 meals - I love leftovers!

My friend, Angela F and I meet up once a month for a lunch date. For March, we decided on making the trek out to Verdi to sample the fare at Sasquach Tavern and Grill. This was a first time for her. My husband and I had eaten here a few years ago on our way home from California. So worth the return visit. Luckily, we got there early. The space is very small and very popular so it gets filled up quickly. We were greeted upon walking in and were seated in a large but cozy booth. Jessica, our fabulous waitperson, made us feel welcome and provided excellent service from beginning to end. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap. My friend ordered the Rib Eye Sandwich. Both came with fries. The portions were HUGE! I was barely able to get through half of it. We appreciated take-home boxes filled with another meal (or two) later on. There was a bit of a wait on getting our food, but the place is small, busy, and I assume they have a small kitchen. This one of those places worth a return visit.

Steamed clams. Huge and deep bowl full!!!

My friend Deb, drove us to Sasquatch on Saturday for their steamed clams. This was a large and deep bowl, filled full of little clams, and the most tasty broth I've ever had, with a side of garlic bread. Christine was a knowledgeable server, and friendly. The decor fits the theme perfectly. I can't wait to go back and try the lobster roll.

We've been to Sasquatch twice and each time we loved the service and the food. It's a smaller establishment but they can surprisingly fit large parties. The interior is warm, inviting and they have a fire place that's keeps you nice and warm if you sit next to it. This time around I had a grilled chicken salad. It was huge and I definitely had left overs. The veggies were nice and fresh and had a wonderful crunch to them. Our drink orders from the bar took a bit longer but we understood as they were a bit busy. Can't wait to come back! It's a little hidden gem.

We had a great experience here and will certainly be back. We had a larger group and they accommodated us right away. I tried their old fashioned which was very good. I ordered their Sweet'n Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich that is crispy buttermilk fried chicken tossed in their secret hot honey sauce with sweet butter chips, lettuce, and tomatoes served on a bun. It was tasty, messy, but tasty. The restaurant itself is smaller inside with a few booths and tables centered to accommodate larger groups if needed. We called ahead to make sure and I'd suggest doing the same if in a larger group. *Bonus points for having an awesome Sasquatch dressed in the appropriate attire for the Thanksgiving season.*

Went in the other day as I saw a video on TikTok about their fish and chips. Fish and chips were super good. Coleslaw was really good as well. At the time they ran out of regular french fries so I got the sweet potato fries which were pretty good as well. Would highly recommend this place.

The food was really good. I had the Fish n Chips and my husband had the Prime Rib. It was all very good and the portions were generous. The service was excellent and the restaurant is clean and well staffed.

It's a quaint bar and grill. There's a rustic atmosphere. Our server, Felicia, was friendly and helpful. She kept our beverages filled. The Prime Dip was excellent. It came on a Dutch Crunch roll. The fries were crisp and tasty. This is a great place for locals.

Oh my goodness, why haven't I been here before!!!! Our wait staff was so nice and very funny! ask for Isabella. I bet this place is a locals' favorite. It's a bar restaurant, so bring the kids! ‍‍‍ We had the Sasquatch pasta and it was so good! But let's talk about the $3 salad--real fresh greens (not iceberg!), and HUGE! My husband and I split our whole meal! Our grown son was apparently gatekeeping this place because he tracked us and said we were traitors for coming here without him! #Restaurant #Family #Food #Pasta #Salad #DateNight #Foodie #HiddenGem

We love the food here. Sometimes we go in and sometimes we get it to go. The Bigfoot Wings are so delicious and there is enough for us to share for our lunch. They are served with big celery and carrot sticks to add some fresh crunch. We would definitely recommend Sasquatch if you haven't been. Truly a great dive

This place is also family friendly as there were children dining here, but no specific children's menu. The waitress Lex was very sweet and provided excellent service. We came here for the weekend breakfast (keep in mind they are open at 8am) and both were delicious. The French toast was slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was topped with delicious fresh strawberries, blueberries, and powdered sugar. The country fried steak was cooked perfectly and served with a side of eggs,, toast, and house potatoes. From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated as if we were inconveniencing them by asking for a table. We were totally agreeable and ok with a table or the bar. After about 10 minutes, we were directed to the bar where there was one seat for two of us and the gal with the green shirt that was from somewhere in South Carolina promised to get us another stool. We went to where we were shown to go. Another couple at the bar mentioned someone had taken the stool that belonged where we were. We ordered two drinks, Jameson on the rocks and a Grey Goose or Tito's Lemondrop. $14 for the lemondrop that couldn't have had a shot of vodka in it. I'm not sure it had any in it because it tasted like lemon juice and Cointreau. The single shot of Jameson on the rocks was $12.25. There were 3 local guys who appeared to be finishing up on the other side of the couple next to us that were standing and leaning on empty stools. I asked them if we could have one of the stools and one of the guys jokingly told me not to yell at him. We laughed and he said he was leaving anyway, but the bartender told him not to give us the stool. The bartender brought us our drinks and we patiently waited for a stool, but decided if we finished our drinks and hadn't received menus or a stool that we'd find a different spot. The food smelled good and the few people eating seemed to be enjoying it. After a bit longer we were asked if we wanted to move to a table when one came open. We should have said yes, but we were trying to be easy and agreeable as they seemed overwhelmed, even though there were two empty dirty tables and the three spots at the bar where the local guys were bullshitting and leaning on the back of the empty stools, so we said we would stay at the bar. We still had not been offered menus or the 2nd stool we were told was coming. After another short while, a couple at the end of the bar left and the bartender asked us if we wanted to move into those spots. We moved and ordered another Jameson on the rocks. We found a menu that another patron had left and decided we would order if asked before we finished our cocktails. The bartender gave us the 2nd Jameson on the rocks, but never asked us if we wanted to order even though she knew we came for dinner. We finished our drinks and asked the lady in the green shirt with South Carolina on it if we could have our bill because we had already been there more than 50 minutes while feeling like we may have never been asked what we wanted to eat. We finally got our bill of $38.50 for a terrible lemondrop and two shots of Jameson on the rocks. We left hangry and irritated that we never got to taste the food we were smelling. I've heard good things and had a nice Mother's Day there last year, but I won't go back unless I'm with a recognized local as they seemed to be the only patrons receiving food. Obviously, by the length of this review, that I'm very disappointed and hope the staff will take into account how they made good paying patrons feel. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time. If management cares enough to check the receipts, we were there 4/17/26 and left between 6:30 and 7pm.

The French dip sandwich was salty, with very little meat, and the onion rings were burned almost black and also very salty, almost to the point of being unpalatable. My husband's chili was good. He said, "My grandson's cheese pizza looked good, but was like a hard, chewy piece of cardboard," and I tasted it, and I agree. They had been here once before for dinner, dine-in, about eight months ago, and I was pretty pleased. Not sure if the times are tough, or if they've had a change in style, but the food has really gone downhill. It's very sad to see if that's the case because it seems like any place that opens in the village at Somersett doesn't do very well. Who knows what the reason is. All I know is that I spent $60 on food that I ended up mostly throwing away because it was unpalatable. That's not good in this day and age.
