Quaint restaurant with great food and friendly service! Stopped in for breakfast with a group of 5. Portions were large, and prices were very affordable. We had the outlaw and regular breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, potatoes and eggs, and both iced and hot coffee. The coffee was great, burritos large and easily shareable. Place is small but has some indoor tables (max 3-4 people at tables) but also picnic tables Outside for more seating options. Staff were attentive and friendly. Worth a stop for a tasty, affordable meal with a family feel.

Comfortable outdoor seating with shade and cute patio garden decor and Friendly service. I had a latte, veggie scramble with an English muffin and the sweetest watermelon ever. All delicious. Very nice way to start my vacation morning.

New owners, new patio pavers, cleaned and cleared in many ways. Menu updated, still stocking liquors for addition to drinks. Looking forward to more meals here!

Rich with character and history, not to mention great food, Outlaw Coffee is truly a hidden gem. A classic "mom & pop" diner, Outlaw is run by a husband and wife team. While our cycling group kinda over-ran their normal capacity, the service was fast, friendly and welcoming. I don't normally comment about the coffee but since this is a Coffee Shop / Cafe, I thought I would. I'm not sure what it is but their basic black coffee was delicious. I believe they serve Blind Dog. I don' know the specific blend, but it was oddly delicious. I ordered "The Original" but wrapped as a breakfast burrito. Pretty standard fare of bacon, potatoes, eggs and cheese, wrapped in a tortilla. What made this special was the execution and preparation. The burrito was flavorful and moist (no dry burritos here!). The tortilla was grilled a bit, giving it a nice snap when you bit in. Love these truly local gems

My family is local to Verdi and loved this place the food was always really good but today we found a hair in our breakfast burrito and it put us all off from eating the rest. $90 for 4 breakfast burritos we've never had complaints but they have not done anything to resolve this major issue

Found this hidden gem! The breakfast sandwich was so good, I fell in love with their hazelnut latte. Definitely recommend!!!

We love this little place. They are a small staff and kitchen, but they aim for quality. Friendly owners and good food and coffee is always a win. They have a lot of cyclists coming through and getting a cup of water and a snack. We sat out on their new patio, which is lovely. A go-to spot for me when I'd like a chill place to sip and munch on a Sunday morning.

Small but mighty cafe with friendly staff! Me and my sister made a quick pit stop to refuel our bodies and we were greatly with utmost hospitality. We ordered the outlaw burritos and pleasantly surprised with how great these were! I would come here again to enjoy a coffee and burrito in their outdoor patio next time.

Excellent food, people, and Java. I had the breakfast sandwich on a super good English muffin from Truckee Sourdough. Their English muffin offers secret powers on this sandwich. Stop by on your bike ride or after a hike on the Truckee river trail with your pups. Outdoor seating and tiny indoor space with just enough space for the coffee machine. Free parking out here and a distillery next door. Whatch out!

The drinks are STRONG, and the food portions are absolutely massive especially considering how reasonable the prices are! We were so excited to celebrate my husband's birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. And you HAVE to love the decor it's quirky, fun, and totally fits the "come as you are" vibe. They also serve breakfast, so you can easily make this a morning stop or come by later for drinks and a big meal. Great drinks, huge portions, reasonable prices, welcoming staff, and an atmosphere that doesn't take itself too seriously. Definitely a place we'll be back to!

This time I'm here with my crew that I met up with in Sacramento on our way on 80 East heading towards Salt Lake City. This is gonna be a long drive but it beats flying with 5 people and all the gear we carry. WE pull into Sasquatch and go in. We get a table in the middle of the room. The inside looks just like it always did with that Sasquatch statue standing there. The service is super friendly and we all order drinks. No beer this time, we're all on the road and some of us gotta drive. I decide to get something different this time, the steamed clams. My guys get 2 of the steak sandwiches, one gets fish and chips and the one other girl on the crew gets a chicken salad of some sort. The food arrives in a decent amount of time. My clams look delicious, though I thought the clams were on the small side, but there were a lot of them. The steak sandwiches looked good as usual as did the fish and chips. Next time I think I might go back to the steak sandwich. The clams really didn't fill me up, but I got some fries off one of the guys. Sasquatch is still on my list of best places to stop to eat when traveling the 80 near Reno.

I'd ordered "the Cowboy" and it was better than described. Spicy and lingering taste of whatever yummy sauce they put on it. Food: 4 Stars as it has been consistent and generous portions over several visits…read more Service: 3 Stars as during our last visit we needed to flag down our waiter for follow-on items. I have a yardstick, if beer and wine is ordered prior to the meal, seems very likely that a second drink would be a common-sense follow-up question by a thoughtful waiter. Nope, a simple draft beer and wine took abnormally long to arrive. And, I agree with the other observations that suggest "recognized guests" are more promptly attended to. Billing: 2 Stars as you'll want to check your total for an automatically charged service fee associated with a credit card. Admittedly, the waiter said they remove the fee if paying by cash, but nowhere on the bill is this stated. Think of how eateries have a statement on the bill about a default tip when serving large parties, so I know the technology exists to print this information. Why not be up front with your paying customers? My contacts in the food service industry continue to tell me that "cash is king". . . Fundamentally, the owners of Chop 40 are sitting on the proverbial goldmine as the unique atmosphere and setting, along with a unique menu set this establishment apart. However, the sub-part service is such a large distraction that they risk alienating long-time, Reno-area customers. Should Chop 40 loose it's kitchen skills, then it's game over!

The house this was very nice and our waitress showed up in no time .The menu had quite a bit of everything on it. It had a great choices for breakfast lunch and dinner all in one menu. My wife had what was called the four deuces pancakes, two sausage, two bacon eggs and she said it was all very good. I went with the chicken fried steak. I read a couple of reviews where they said their chicken fried steak was overcooked in things. Mine wasn't. Mine was very good. The gravy was good. I substituted the bread for a biscuit and upgraded for $1.99 and got the gravy. It was all super yummy. The bacon could've used some work from my wife's plate lol but other than that, everything was super good. The reason that I didn't give it a five star is because it was extremely pricey four dollars for a drink and $15 for a breakfast like this is quite high. If you're hungry and headed out of town, this is a place to stop or there's a couple other ones over by Boomtown Casino.
