After about a week of driving, we were going down 95 and heard a loud thud, then the power steering just died. We managed to limp home, but once we parked and checked it out, we saw the belt had come off and there was a major coolant leak. This was never was an issue before, especially since we've taken this car to two different shops in the last year. Including one where it passed VA state inspection. None of those shops complained about any cooling system issue. When we towed it back, they told us it needed a radiator and thermostat and pretty much wanted another $600 on top of the $1,600 we already spent. They wouldn't even cover the tow. They just put the belt back on and had us tow it to another shop to actually fix the leak. The car is still not drivable. We understand things happen and we are not idiots when it comes to vehicle care, but it is incredibly frustrating when a shop tries to avoid accountability. Honestly, just avoid this place like the plague. There are better shops who have trust worthy mechanics in the Stafford area.

The owner vowed in front of me and another witness that "he is not here to screw people." Yet Mr. Breeden doesn't run his business above reproach or with integrity. TJ the mechanic put aftermarket parts on my vehicle without my permission. TJ was also unable to do the repair work properly. There have been complaints about TJ's work but since its the owners son Mr. Breeden will not do anything about TJ's inept mechanics. The owner has done business in this county for over 40 years and is not concerned about work ethics nor integrity. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

I went to ATA specifically to have my vehicle's Virginia safety inspection completed. When I…read morearrived, an employee was speaking with two other men and stopped the conversation to ask if he could help me. I asked if I could get a state inspection that day, and he told me they weren't doing inspections that day. I then asked when they did inspections. He told me they perform them Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, beginning at 8:00 AM, and that they often fill up before 9:00 AM. I thanked him and left. What I found frustrating is that Wednesday is apparently a day when they don't perform inspections at all, yet that information wasn't apparent to me when I was planning the visit. I had to drive all the way back home, regroup, and reschedule my plans. I was able to find another shop that same day, make an appointment, and have my Virginia safety inspection completed without any problem. I was particularly surprised because ATA has very high ratings and reviews describing the business as trustworthy. My experience was not consistent with the impression I got from those reviews. At minimum, I would suggest that ATA clearly post on its website and other listings that inspections are not performed on Wednesdays and that daily inspection capacity can fill before 9:00 AM. I'm not claiming to know the employee's intentions, but the experience left me uncomfortable and unnecessarily cost me time.

The truck I bought was fairly priced and they gave me good value on my trade ins. NC tags registration is a super slow process so they also overnighted me another set of temporary tags while I waited. 10/10 would recommend this dealership. Especially if looking from out of state and having a delivery
