Sharing the same review from my Google review. I should've read the negative reviews first, I leaned on the 4.6 ratings a little too heavily. My golden retriever was basically SHAVED. There was a huge language barrier that required Google translate, which fine, I'll deal with it, but I asked for a trim, not a shave. If you are grooming dogs, it's extremely important to understand different dogs styles, what is required of them and how to properly groom them. A golden retriever has a double coat, which helps with body temperature regulation. When you basically shave all of that off, their body heat goes out of wack. Not only were they 35 minutes late to the appointment, they spent 2.5 hours shaving my dog. On top of that, you could very clearly see the shave lines, meaning they either didn't blend or the 2.5 hours spent was still somehow rushed. I was so shocked and rushed as I was already 45 minutes late for my own plans that I couldn't even say anything. The language barrier probably would've made the complaint route take even longer. I contacted their customer support, and sent me directly to the groomer who just won't problem solve anything. Fine, keep my $200+ and know that I will push to let people know to avoid at the very least the groomer, and likely to avoid the company. If you are in the Sacramento area, and your dog needs an actual grooming/trim and not a mediocre shave, please avoid Yorgelis at all costs. I don't like to isolate an issue entirely on the company, but these groomers are marketed as professionals and represent your company. In my pictures, the first two in cars are him with his normal coat. The last two are post-grooming. Edit: looks like they offered a $50 refund with some of that going to fuel cost? Why didn't I discover mobile pet grooming earlier on in my dog's life?! This was my first experience with mobile grooming. I know it's costly, but it's so worth it with Outlet Mobile Pet Grooming! It costs $115 for an XS small dog for a full service grooming. I scheduled the appointment through their Website and it was super easy. It allows you to choose your date and time and even groomer of choice. They text you the night before and send you an email of a reminder. On the day of the grooming, they texted me that they were on the way. My groomer was supposed to be Johanna but it was Sergio instead. I told him I wanted the cut super short. After exactly 1 hour, I received a text message that he was done. It was exactly how I wanted the cut to be. Super satisfied! AVOID BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! If I could give this business negative stars I would. Services requested: cat (2 years old and very affectionate) - nail trim, cat wash, haircut The groomer that came clearly had no experience dealing with cats and claimed it was his SECOND DAY after initial issues arose. First, he tried to wash/trim the cat WITHOUT gloves that he supposedly didn't have. Why he didn't have them, no idea, but he was acting as though this was a problem I had cause, not the business's lack of preparation. Next, we didn't see the work being done, so we didn't know how much of these tasks he really completed. He first claimed to have completed everything, but when we opened the travel container, he clearly did not. We had to press him to admit that he didn't even complete one of the tasks we prepaid for! From the photos, it's clear he didn't complete the haircut (large patches of arms, legs and other places are still left long) and he straight up lied to us about giving her a wash. To make my life even harder, when I tried to call all of the 3 different numbers I could find for this business to get some assistance - all the numbers just rang a few times and stopped. So I now need to call the credit card company to cancel because I refuse to pay for being lied to, having 1/3 of services actually complete, and having a cat so agitated that she won't come out of her playhouse. read more

Do not get your dogs with a double coat ( like my golden retriever) groomed by this company. They do not understand that you are not to cut that hair. When I told the company this , I was told it was done because my dog had matting and feces, which could not have been father than the truth. The language barrier did not help but, more importantly he did not let me get any point across through a translation app. Dogs with double coats have hair to regulate body temperature. That undercoat will not grow back the way hair does. Not only that the hair cut off his tail was such a hack job. I see another post here from Sacramento that had a similar experience. They showed up on time but the downsides were more than the positives. They will ask to for an outlet to plug into.. not a big deal usually. However the person spoke very little English and I couldn't inform him how to cut my dog's fur so I hoped for the best. He pretty much just shaved her all over but left uneven cuts on her face and around eyes. He also said he couldn't cut her nails since she was too nervous tho it was supposed to be the included. He also took an hour and 45 minutes to do everything. Definitely very inexperienced. Overall not worth the higher costs so will not use agin. read more

Very disappointed. The washing was fine but the cut was terrible. I have a 60lb labradoodle. I asked for a teddy bear cut. Instead the top of his head was cut short and uneven. His body was clipped so close you can see his skin and some areas more than others. The main body was so short that he didn't blend the fur on the legs. They're managed by the same people as another egregious pet grooming company, and they are extremely unsafe to leave your animals with. I didn't notice the relationship until I began investigating the incompetence of the groomer whom I entrusted with my cat. I originally scheduled a nail trimming and a shampoo for my pet. The 'groomer', Rafael, had zero protective grooming equipment and told me to take my cat back because he was unable to work on her. He was clearly not trained to work with animals. When I got her back, I checked her nails and saw that he had clipped them in the worst way possible. Multiple nails were very bloody, and even the non-bloody nails had strands hanging off of them from an incompetent nail clipping. Rafael failed to mention that he had injured my pet when he returned her. My cat is still traumatized, and her paws are noticeably injured. She is maintaining a protective posture. She was so stressed by this experience that she came back matted in urine. My cat was not shampooed, her nails were mangled, and she was returned in a state of utter distress. I was going to review about how horrible even scheduling an appointment was, but you know what - i appreciate all the unfortunate events that supposedly happened to my groomer because after reading the reviews on Yelp, the cancellations and reschedules essentially saved me even more heartache from any emergency vet bill. Long story short, i was bitter when my first appointment got canceled. My dog died two weeks later and it would've been nice to give him the dignity he deserved by at least getting groomed at home. What people don't understand is these "dogs" are not just "dogs". They are our families. Most of them have a bigger place in our hearts than other family members. They might cause trouble, but they love - endlessly. So to these groomers, please just don't do this work - to do this work. Treat our dogs with the dignity they deserve and not haphazardly. Just because you operate with no windows to your grooming van doesn't mean karma doesnt see you. I'm posting a picture of my sweet boy, Junior because i want to put his face to my name. PSA TO ALL CAT OWNERS This business abused, terrorized and tortured my 13 year old RagDoll kitty. She had to be taken to the vet immediately after the service because she was unable to walk or stand. The vet confirmed bruising around the neck as if choked and torn muscles in legs and ribs, as if shaken forcibly. When we saw the condition of our little kitty - who always loved her grooming by the way - we broke into tears. The groomer the proceeds to show us videos of our terrified cat as he forcibly puts a plastic ball on her head and tightens the strap around her neck!!!! Why ANYONE would video this horrific treatment instead of just stopping to avoid hurting or stressing our kitty is SHAMEFUL AND ABUSIVE. The owner will not return our calls and clearly doesn't care - my family is devastated and we are watching (hoping) our kitty will survive this horrific ordeal. We are not sure as she is basically unable to move or eat after being beaten by a grown man. DO NOT TRUST YOUR FUR BABIES TO THIS BUSINESS. STAY AWAY. I'm really sad and sorry to write this but, as I said to the groomer "this is my little girl!" However the appointment actually went from 5am to 8 am. Which was great due to my dogs not having long hair. The price was a bit on the higher end given that my boys dony have long hair but the convenience of everything was great. There booking system was easy. I will definitely use them again. CNN Unfortunately there were a couple of things that happened to ensure that I won't be using this service again: 1. I booked and paid for a DOG WASH ... not a cut, because many people do NOT know how to shape a husky. Samir gave my dog a buzz cut and she looks ridiculous. My groomer never showed up. He kept texting me if he could come sooner (we had a 9:00 pm appointment), and when I finally said "now works" (around 7:00 pm) he canceled my appointment. He claimed he never heard from me, but I responded to his texts and we already had a standing appointment. After we tried to rectify the situation and book for the next day, he told me his cutting machine was broken and that the onus is on me to find a pet groomer with a working cutter. If his machine is broken, he should report that to his superior and get it repaired. It is not on the customer to seek someone whose machine works. I am disappointed because there are so many good reviews of this business, but my experience was very poor as my pup never got to even experience the grooming. read more

My Princess Cocoa had an appointment from 12-3pm. My groomer name was Clodoveu, he called me 10 mins after stating that he was running a bit late due to working on another large dog prior. He didn't arrive until 2 hours later, which kind of got me worried whether he will have time to work on Cocoa thoroughly. Cocoa is an Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky mix, so you could imagine how much work she would need. I brought her out to him around 2pm asked if he was aware of the special comments I left when booking the appointment and yes he read it and was fully aware. I love how their van just park's right outside in front of your home. It allows you to check up on your dog at anytime you want. I love the fact that it's also a 1 on 1 session not having to involve other pets around. 2 hours later into her session he opened the door to his van and I was able to just pop in and check on her. Cocoa was finally ready after 3 hours of grooming. She came out so beautiful and happy. She felt so much lighter too. Clodoveu was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable in what he was doing. These groomers did everything we wanted and more! It's hard to find time to go and take my pup to get groomed so this service is super convenient. My dog has not been groomed in a long time so he was a walking mop. Now, Oso looks like a whole different dog. He had a flea problem and non of the shampoos or collars were working to get them all out but luckily these nice groomers were able to take them all out!! Our Australian Labradoodle, Mazzy had gone awhile since her last grooming appointment (been impossible to book elsewhere) and had acquired a bit of matting. We knew she'd likely need to be shaved. Please do not in any circumstance bring your dog here! I came for a $80 grooming and nail clipping to a $800 emergency pet hospital bill!! When my dog came out of the van he was not himself. He was delirious and breathing heavily. The groomer could not speak any English and I needed to get a translator to ask if he gave my dog anything. He looked like he was given something. Then his breathing was getting heavier and he looked like he could barely breathe. We had to take him to emergency vet hospital. After X-ray and bloodwork they see severe fluid in his lungs which could have been due to extreme pressure from being choked. The grooming company could not provide explanation, or is taking any responsibility. They said "that's what insurance is for, so they can do the investigation and you get reimbursed". Right now, I am praying my dog will make it through the night without an oxygen tank because even the hospital emergency rooms can't take him in. He is on a sedative to calm his breathing, antibiotics and will need more lab work tomorrow. Mind you, this is a 17 week old healthy German shepherd- we have not even taken him out because he is still waiting for his final round of vaccination. I even tried to cancel the appointment and let him know he is not fully vaccinated. I should have known he was sketchy when he said he can take him just with his 2 doses. Not only was it frustrating that an hour before the scheduled time the groomer was supposed to arrive(his name is Sostene), he had to cancel because he was in Pittsburgh, CA apparently before my session and couldn't make it to Burlingame in time so he asked to reschedule for the following morning (I made the appointment a week in advance which is plenty of time to see a logistical challenge on the owner's end). I was flexible and agreed to a 9:00am grooming the following day, but when that next morning appointment came, Sostene told me he would be 20 minutes late at 9:00am. I said, Okay but was not happy about him being late after having to make time the previous day for a no show. After he was 40 minutes late (not the original 20 which was quoted) I requested an ETA and he said 15 more minutes...which was 55 minutes late for a 9:00am appointment. Not okay. I told him to not bother coming at that point and I booked an appointment with a competitor company who also does mobile dog grooming...I'd say Sostene has poor time management and it's a shame because I would have been a new regular customer if his work was good.
