The food drinks and customer service here were amazing. Came here on a friends recommendation. It was kind of early so we had brunch and drinks. My son at the French toast which he loves and we shared the Chilaquiles and a flight of mixed drinks with mezcal, the chilaquiles we're delicious and the drinks were good,Really love the avocado one. I most definitely will be back on my next trip to Cabo.
Great find off the main marina area -- much better than getting tugged at to eat or buy stuff in that strip. It's still close to the marina where the tenders drop off. We enjoyed a late afternoon snack of flat iron steak tacos and guacamole with chips. Both were very tasty. The service was good and we loved the outside eating area too. It was decorated with cacti and overall very nice. It was a quiet break from the cruise experience and the much louder touristy bars.
Because of the strong reviews for this Cabo restaurant, my brother and I made it a destination during our visit from the cruise ship, Ovation of the Seas. We found the service to be top-notch, the views from the upstairs patio to be worthwhile, and the food and drink to be good. As typical, it was a hot and sunny day in Cabo so my brother and I were tired and soaked in sweat from walking around. When we entered, we were greeted warmly by the manager/proprietor. When I asked if we could sit upstairs, he gave me a big smile with an accompanying 'Of Course'. After climbing some narrow stairs, we were greeted with a nice patio with umbrella shaded tables, overlooking the main street of Cabo. While we were looking over the menu, the same manager delivered to us 4 ice soaked towels to cool off. It felt really good putting it on the backs of our necks, and started our visit really well. We ended up getting three things. bottle of mineral water (138 pesos) - Cheese board (299 pesos per person) - Ritz crackers, green grapes, strawberries, different cheeses. Was a good way to munch when really not hungry. Margarita Trilogy (919 pesos) - three different full size (415 ml, mostly ice) of hibiscus, avocado, and black margarita. It was presented with a smoke show, and our server suggested we film it (which is what I did). All three were tasty...couldn't really taste any alcohol, which for my brother was what he wanted. It was a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of time to talk to our server. We stayed a bit longer than intended. Paying was easy. Tipping is easier with cash, but the server did an additional charge on the credit card for the amount that we wanted to give. I could definitely imagine how lively this location would be as the night progressed. That was the original plan (to visit a lot later in the day). DIdn't turn out that way, but still a good visit.
If there's one place you eat at in Cabo, let it please be this. Preferably dinner (though we went for lunch) because it's right outside the marina which gets so beautiful and lively at night. When we reached, there was an obvious heat wave going on and we all looked stroke prone. They graciously offered us the private seating room and blast the Ac on. They gave us a bday flan and accommodated all our vegan vegetarian and nut allergy restrictions. They know how to do avocados - avocado tempura taco will blow your mind, even as an avid avocado hater. So will the avo margarita. The hibiscus marg and the shrimp are next! We loved the vegetarian curry and rice, gently thai inspired but oh so flavorful. They have so many mocktail and beverage options. Their service is unbelievable. Go here. Now
Our last night in Cabo couldn't have ended on a better note. We had dinner at Outpost and it was truly exceptional. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, the creamed spinach was rich and comforting, and every drink we ordered was spot‑on. We sat on the rooftop around 6 PM while the sky was still light, and by the end of dinner the lights around us were glowing beautifully. The whole place was filled with laughter, conversation, and that relaxed Cabo energy. A must‑do when visiting.
Staying nearby (marina) and needed some lunch while waiting for our room to be available. Patio was nice and service was friendly and attentive. We started with the margarita trilogy, which comes with a smoke show. All were good but my favorite was the hibiscus mezcal. We had a bowl of ceviche for an appetizer which was fresh and bright. The salsa they bright with some chips was really good with the ceviche. We moved on to the pastor shrimp tacos and the short rib tacos. Both were tasty but the short rib was really really good. Definitely the winner. They were kind to bring a complimentary flan to celebrate my birthday. Nice touch!
It's a last night here in Cabo. We decided to try Outpost. We ordered the burrata salad to start it was amazing on fresh sourdough bread. Then got the pork chop it was cooked to perfection. The bartender made amazing drinks we loved the lavender martini. Don't even hesitate run to eat here. The place is also so pretty and the bar area is beautiful.
Stopped in Cabo during our cruise and found the closest place with good reviews and it didn't disappoint! The front patio was very shady and a relief to from the humid Mexico sun. There were fans blowing on us and inside had A/C. Service from Alberto was fantastic! He gave us great recommendations and was extremely attentive. My favorite dishes: 5/5 Margarita Trio. The avocado margarita had coconut cream and it was so refreshing! Hubs loved the hibiscus with mezcal. The blackberry was also good. The presentation was phenomenal. 5/5 Esquites was prob one of my favorites 5/5 short rib tacos 5/5 catch of the day 3.5/5 shrimp tacos 3/5 guacamole 3/5 aqua chile Will return for apps, drinks, AC and service!
We found this place through trip advisor on our vacation stay. I was able to park my car near by and we were able to safely walk over to enjoy our dinner here. The ceviche was delicious and we had orders some tacos on the side - the grilled shrimp and a steak ones were really flavorful and was what I remembered. I did order the fllight of margaritas and they were huge. I thought they were going to be small but the glasses were huge and they were refreshing!! They have upstairs dining and like an organic garden upstairs. Very quiet and nice up there. The chef, owner and waiters were very hospitable and checked in on us frequently. I would def recommend this place!!!
Our favorite spot to go to when visiting Cabo! Whether it's for breakfast, smoothies, lunch, drinks, or dinner... you can't go wrong at the Outpost! Flora Farms level of cuisine and freshness without the long drive. All the cocktails here are refreshing and made with care. Their food captures the best flavors of Mexico and their staff is always friendly. Special thanks to Beto for always welcoming us. We look forward to visiting the Outpost every time we are in Cabo. The dude, sister and I came to the Outpost on 11/28/25. We stumbled upon this place and loved the ambiance so much greenery! The staff and owner was so fantastic. The hospitality was top tier. I was helped with my drink option which I opted for the passion fruit margarita and my goodness...food in Mexico is no other. The best cocktail in my life. It tasted real and didn't leave me sluggy. The vegetarian chilaquiles were out of this world! So fresh and flavorful. One of the best dishes I have ever had. The dude had some delicious drink with bacon. We were tended to really well. Chatted with the owner about this beautiful place and we really enjoyed ourselves. They take pride in the vegetarian options! Highly recommend. It was filling up when we came in too. Loved the decor. Food was delicious and fresh. Nothing tasted processed. We are coming back in April 13 to 21st so we will definitely be hitting this place up again!!! Can't wait!

Best breakfast/brunch spot in Cabo, easily. Everything about this place was refreshing and beautiful. The inside and downstairs was cute, the spiral stairs going up to the rooftop was decorated so colorfully and a great photo spot, and the rooftop seating along with the back garden room was stunning. I miss this spot the most. The food and drinks were all a 10000/10. The smoothies, the hibiscus and regular mimosas, the avocado toast, the fruit parfait, and the french toast. Their eggs tasted extremely fresh and were the best scrambled eggs I've had, along with their avocado toast. The presentation of each plate was beautifully done and every bite of french toast was so flavorful. We came here twice for breakfast because it was that good. The service was fantastic and they took care of us very well. They also have bottomless mimosas and came back often to make sure we got refills and had everything we needed. Another one of those cool hidden spot that needs to be known. I came across this place looking around for places to check out when I'm town. By the looks of the drinks and pictures from IG, it was a stop that needed to be check out. And as a plus, it was actually walking distance from our hotel. I also believe that we walked past by it during our previous visit back in November. We stopped by early in the week, Tuesday. It wasn't busy for lunch but they did have some people there. The hostess took our temperature, we had it mask on as well as everyone working there. I did notice that everywhere you go for food, they always ask before hand if there's any food allergies which is smart. She asked if we wanted downstairs or upstairs. Opted for the upstairs dining area that over looks the street. You go a cool staircase and the layout of the whole restaurant is amazing. Beautiful stung tassel hanging from the trees, tons of veggies plant in pots throughout the restaurant. There's also a dining area that's upstairs in the back that is surrounded by all the potted veggies. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Menu looked amazing. Drinks option was pretty impressive as well as food. We had a couple of their margaritas and some starters. The drinks were great as well as starters. Yellowtail taco I believe we ordered was amazing as well as the ceviche. Full of flavors and a great choice. Main was the whole young chicken served with veggie cous cous and topped of with a gravy glaze that they pour over for you. As well as the fish which was mahi mahi on top of mashed potatoes and baby veggies. Everything that we had was amazing, flavorful and totally with it. Price wise, it's a bit more that your local restaurant but not over the top. Totally well worth the money. For sure will be making a stop here again on our next visit. read more

I will start first with how absolutely adorable this place is. They did a great job setting this up and making it very cute. The service was not super impressive. When we got there, they specifically asked us about allergies and we told them about a very severe nut allergy and they did take notes but didn't follow through. We ordered a Caprese salad and it was not listed on the menu that it came with pesto and thankfully we noticed a green sauce underneath so we asked if it was pesto and if it had nuts and they said yes. We told him that we had a severe nut allergy and we had to pay for another one without pesto. The other thing that was a little bit frustrating is that we wanted to be seated upstairs and they said that there was not enough room however, two other parties came in without reservations, and they set them all upstairs. We know this because we were sitting right by the hostess stand and could hear the conversation. The menu is very limited and I wouldn't say the food was exceptional. The best thing that we ordered was the fried chicken sandwich. That was actually really good. Everything else we got was very average. Our server was definitely just doing his job and not going to do anything extra to make our experience good which is a bummer because the ambience here is outstanding. read more

Second time at the Outpost. Never disappointed. The service, ambience, and food (and margaritas) are always worth it. The prices are maybe higher than one might expect in Cabo, but it is not expensive. The quality of service and food is on par with what you are paying. This is a wonderful little getaway right in the heart of a busy intersection. The Outpost is Cabo San Lucas: A mix of street life, tasty drinks, good food, and wonderful people. If you are looking for a nice place to stop and just really enjoy the Cabo life - Outpost is a must destination. read more

Everything about this place is magical. We ate here twice, and the food was consistently good. Best guacamole in Cabo, IMO. Cevice was delicious and fresh. The entire dish was well assembled and beautifully presented. Burrata was good, but the side salad was far too sour from lemon juice to be eaten. We also had the burger, which came out under a smoked cloche and was possibly the best burger I've ever had:". The upper deck rail provides the perfect laid back atmosphere to enjoy a trio of margaritas. We tried that trio (which also came in a Smokey display case, but the OG Margarita was far superior I. It's simplicity and balance. Would not hesitate to dine here again. read more

Lovely rooftop seating area with plenty of greenery and a lush jungle vibe. Music is good but not overpowering. Not sure how new this restaurant/bar is but it's going to be one of my favorites from now on. The downstairs had an indoor bar and also a smaller outdoor seating area - most of the restaurant is outside. Walking upstairs you take a spiral staircase to get up (not sure if there's an elevator). The menu was on a wood block with a QR code- super cool. Our food took a little bit of Time but we enjoys our drinks while we waited. The passion fruit marg was amazing and a few of the drinks came out in wood boxes with smoke for an awesome presentation. The Cesar salad came as wedges you have to cut up (only got a picture after it was cut). Can add whoever type of protein as well. The burger with the aioli and fries - amazing. Wouldn't recommend if you don't like a smokey taste- someone in our group wasn't the biggest fan. When the pasta came out, it seemed small but was a great portion. We got the veggie tempura tacos to share between since my friend and I both got salads. They had a kick and were pretty filling with their beetroot. Found this place by accident. My husband and I were tired of the watered down and generally bad margaritas in resorts and tourist restaurants. We ran into a family who suggested we try The Outpost, because of its affiliations with Flora Farms. Showed us a video of their margarita flight and we were sold. We got the flight as well (Hibiscus, Avocado and Black flavors), followed by their O.P. Margarita. All four drinks were delicious!! All different flavors were smooth, made with good tequila. We weren't hungry, but ordered guacamole and chips anyway - also very good. The vibe was definitely chill. The 30 minute walk from our resort in 80 degree weather, past hundreds of street vendors was well worth it! read more

Fave organic day spot in Cabo, I head this way for the green smoothie when I need a refresher. The dishes are bright, fresh, flavorful - but you're def paying California (U.S.) prices for the experience. The ambience, service, and menu are superior here than their sister spot, Milk Bar on Mendano Beach, which left me uninspired. The smoked margarita flight is delightful, but def bring a friend or three if you don't want to roll out in a wheel barrow. read more

We stopped in for drinks midday. It was shift change somehow so things got weird when we ended up with a different wait person. We went to leave. I left $100 in the book expecting change. I returned from the restroom and asked my wife if we were good to go. She said, yes. We left. Later that evening I asked about my change and she said the girl never came back and she assumed all was good. The bill was $63 so someone got a hell of a tip. Drinks were ok. Got to eat at the Outpost while I'm Cabo earlier this week. Our server Javier was super friendly. I went into the restaurant with the intention of trying the avocado margarita, which seriously was the best concoction I've ever tasted! Who would have thought it paired so well with the tasty citrusy ceviche. The ceviche had chunks of grapefruit which made it have a semi sweet taste. The margarita flight was great, in addition to the spicy margarita. The restaurant was walking distance from the Solmar resort we were staying at, so we decided to walk there. What a cool spot! Lots of plants and cute fairy lights. We we went for dinner and had a great experience - easy to access by Uber if you're staying at the nearby hotels. My husband had a hibiscus margarita (comes with smoky show -- looks very cool but very Smoky) and the catch of the day. I had the o.p. Burger , which also comes with the smoky rosemary presentation! I didn't know and am not a rosemary fan myself, I wish they clearly marked on the menu that it was presented that way. Smoked rosemary can be pretty strong so that's my constructive feedback , to put it on the menu or mention it to customers if they're unaware. Regardless they were very accommodating and brought me another burger without the Smokey rosemary presentation so I was able to enjoy the burger. It was very juicy and hit the spot for my craving. Pretty hefty burger too! Service was great, we were tended to by Rolando. Very scenic and romantic/worth stopping by if you're in Cabo! read more

I was initially put off when I sat down and the menu was priced in U.S. dollars (usually a sign that pricing is for tourists and you're going to get ripped off) and most of the drinks are pretty expensive. Signature margaritas are $15. Classic Azul margaritas are $25. However, it ended up being pretty inexpensive. Our final bill (not including tip) was cheaper than you'd spend at a sports pub in the states. It came to just $34 when I paid in pesos with my no foreign transaction-fee credit card. 2 entrees, one beer, one mineral water and two complimentary margaritas.) And...my dish was out of this world! I ordered Cannelloni, which was prepared with sweet potato, Maitake mushrooms, scrumptious pesto, and fresh mint. It was to die for! And at $15, it was quite reasonably priced. The portion size was perfect. Not too small, not too big. As a pleasant surprise, we were served a complimentary margarita for checking in on Yelp. And, finally, the staff was great. Super friendly. The hostess was great, our server (Nicolas) was really nice, and the owner (Derrick) was very funny. Oh, and the ambience was pretty cool and funky. We'll definitely be back -- I could eat the cannelloni EVERY day! read more

Loved Outpost! Every single bite was delicious and the cocktails were perfect. Had their smoked mezcal cocktails (fun presentation), a delicious mint and watermelon julip, the cannelloni (a must try!), the shrimp, and an amazing quinoa salad. Our friends loved all their dishes too but I can't remember what they ordered :) The servers were super friendly and accommodating of the toddler in our family as well. read more

Our server Rolando was excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The layout and ambiance is very chill with lots of potted plants and hipster decor with lights. Personally not a fan of the rosemary smoke on things, it looks cooler than it tastes. Maybe mesquite would be better or a dry ice trick that is flavorless? Presentation should not undermine flavor. Edit: on that last note, a dried inedible mushroom and piece of fresh rosemary does not belong on a margarita prepared in Mexico. focus on food/drink with flavor not food/drink for photos read more

Really beautiful setting upstairs with a roof top private dining area. The atmosphere is rustic / romantic and the service is amazing. We celebrated a friend's bachelorette party in Cabo and this was one of our destinations. The kitchen prepared for us a special tasting menu that consisted of never ending bite size servings of food. The Octopus was to die for but everything else we ate was just okay - there is a possibility that Bay Area residents are a little bit spoilt. I would totally come back for a second time though! Another thing, the outdoor toilet has a little window and no roof. It may sound odd but that bathroom really really cool. read more
