Slow service, not great drinks as they say. Asked for a lavender cocktail that had no lavender. Then my boyfriend and I ordered a margarita each and they were very different, mine had rosemary and lots of sweetener, his was plane. Esquites are not real, they make it with sweet corn which is not authentic Mexican, Veggie curry it's just vegetables over sugar yellow syrup. Not coming back. read more

be warned of this tourist trap!! charged $276.00 for water called and spoke to the manager they hung up on me!!! tacos were awful too after leaving and thinking about the bill $40 us dollars was nothing but then looking at the bill and seeing that they charged us for water that we didn't have, i wasn't happy. calling the restaurant and getting hung up on, oh i will post on every site i can do that no one gets taken advantage of. **update to this review the owner responded that my math was incorrect.....ummmmm please see attached photo of the receipt also impossible that there is video footage of us drinking two waters there because we didn't i have no reason to lie but i do have reason to feel taken advantage of!! i called several times and the manager hung up on me!!! do not get taken advantage of from this place!!! read more

We decided to escape our "all-inclusive" resort with horrible food and drinks to experience downtown Los Cabos. We stumbled upon this gem and the staff seated us right away. We had Cadillac margs and the hibiscus marg at the bartender's suggestion. I have to add how pleasant she was to us, very hospitable! The drinks were beyond amazing and a welcome taste to someone's who has been inundated in subpar garbage juice margaritas from our all-inclusive. 10 STARS for this gem! read more

Stopped in at Outpost for drinks and apps and we were not disappointed. Our waiter Enrique was fantastic, he recommended the Chile Margarita and it was the perfect amount of heat. He also coached us through the appetizer selection which were all wonderful. To tell you the truth we cannot wait to go back and enjoy more wonderful drinks and food. They must have had an off night, meaning the chef must have been off because everything was just off Saturday night at Outpost. Went on Friday afternoon for a midday snack at the suggestion of friends. It was AMAZING--crisp, thin crust chorizo and onion pizza, hibiscus margarita and finger licking good slider. So good, we made a reservation to return Saturday night with the friends who suggested it. Completely different experience! Food took forever, despite the restaurant not being crowded. Duck tacos were banal, over-sauced and you could not tell it was duck. Other appetizers are not even worth discussing. Now, the entrees. Three people ordered the sous vide spring chicken, which sounded delectable on the menu. It was rubbery, not the crisp skin described on the menu and had it no flavor--we sent three orders back. Pork "rib eye" was so salty, I could not eat it. It was tender though, but had no color because it too had been prepared sous vide. No grilling after finished cooking. Ordered a pizza thinking it would replace the chicken. It was oily, flaccid and tepid--nothing like the day before. Asked for the check. When no one comes up to the terrace where we are seated, I go downstairs to talk to a manager and am presented to the chef of the night (I guess a sous chef). I told him of the issues, he seemed not to care very much and said he would talk to the kitchen. We were finally presented with a dessert on the house which was 5 mini banana muffins-there were 6 in our party--and the bill. No bueno, Outpost. Extremely disappointed in your food and service from the kitchen. Hector, our waiter was apologetic and somewhat helpful, so he still got a good tip. Very disappointing, especially since it is part of Flora Farms, which is booked through January. I thought this would be a good alternative; clearly not the case. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on food--if the regular chef was not there, that's understandable (maybe) but the lack of addressing it with a party of 6 at the table $500 USD later is not acceptable in my book. read more

We had a variety of delicious food and drink. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the Farm Garden cocktail. My wife had the curry and it was pretty awesome. Convenient location and nice atmosphere. I will definitely make this a regular stop on our frequent trips to Cabo. read more

First of all, this place has the greatest decor and set up, super tiny, yet comfortable. The food is out of this world. They have an honor system right as you walk in and grab a beer and put your money in a box. The portions are small bites, don't come here if you're starving, you wouldn't be satisfied. Their drinks are amazing too. This is the perfect spot to come after dinner for a bomb-a$$ drink and setting. Can't wait to get back to Cabo! read more

If it's hard for you to trek out to the Flora Farm, this place is a must visit in Cabo. Farm-to-table elevated with tasty tapas and good drinks. We came here after snorkeling and paddle boarding. The Apple Bumble is one of the best drinks I ever had despite it being non-alcoholic. Manager Matt is super friendly and the staff at the Flora Farm Market recommended us to go with the peso$100 all-you-can-eat lunch. We get 4 orders of tapas with every drink purchased between 11am to 4pm. It's a really cool concept and an amazing deal. Every dish was cared for with details down to the garnishes and pops of flavour. We also got the free dessert with the washroom selfie. They are building a roof top garden so they can grow their own vegetable on site at the moment. My only complaint is that on Yelp it listed the first check in is 20% off, Manager Matt told us that if we write a comment, it will bump to 25% while knowing we ordered the all-you-can-eat lunch. When it comes time for bill, Matt has left and our waiter told us we couldn't have the discount as the AYCE lunch is already a good deal. After some insisting on our end, he got on the phone with Manager Matt and we were able to get 20% off. Our recommendation is to clarify this before you proceed. Fabulous place for a drink and bite to eat. This place is an outpost for Flora Farms, and I think everything is farm to table. We got a nice little tour of the place when we arrived. They have a quaint little shop on the side where they sell natural soaps and organic vegetable. The drinks were great, my favorite being the Farm Julep. The dinner menu is great, I would HIGHLY recommend the Petite Tuna Mango Tostadas, very tasty and the soy sauce just brings it home. I could at these all day if I could, but alas I had to try other things as well. We had the Hand Torched Ham and Goat Cheese, as well as Marlin (Swordfish) and Shrimp Tostada, which were both great. They even torch the smores right in front of you, which were delectable. read more

Stumbled upon this gem while in Cabo. After staying local for a few days, all drinks start to taste the same. This is the exception where drinks are just phenomenal! Definitely serving the best drinks in town. Great staff and bartenders- hurrah to Antonio and Alberto! Ambience is superb- from scents when you enter the bar to the bossa nova music that complements your mood. This is unlike Squid Roe and other commercial establishments. You really get quality, no skimping on the alcohol. Food is fresh- farm to table! This is our favorite spot among all in Cabo San Lucas. This is da bomb! Heads up: if you look at the exterior of this place, you would think that this is one of a multitude of bars with adulterated beverages and sub-par food. And you would be totally wrong just as I was. This is a gem! The food is just superb. The beverages are unique yet par excellence. They have an alliance with Flora Farms (a local organic farm) and most of their ingredients are sourced from them. But wait: they have a garden upstairs where they cultivate greens and use for their bevs and food. How cool? This is a place to check out. Next time I am in Cabo guess where you can find me. This is going to sound hyperbolic. Stay with me. THIS RESTAURANT IS ASTOUNDING!!!! I've eaten in some of the finest restaurants in the world. We're in Cabo for my girl's 25th bday, and as always I researched restaurants and bars ahead of time. I ran across Outpost, because it has over 100 reviews and has 5 stars. What??? Well my darlings, 5 stars is not enough. My goddaughter said she wasn't sure her life was going to be the same after eating the grilled cheese. Yes, their grilled cheese is transcendent. OUTPOST CHANGED OUR LIVES! Period. We love you Enrique, Hector and Danny xxxx UPDATE: I was a bit drunk last night, so forgot to add that we needed groceries and Hector walked us to the grocery store blocks away, then another gentleman brought us bags to carry our groceries! We went back and sat st the bar, where my daughter enjoyed the amazing drink made by Enrique and the corn banana cake with pumpkin puree that was surely made but a classically trained pastry chef. Best meal yet. And prices so reasonable! We were a group of six who ordered many different items and we all loved it. Mexican cheeseburger--perfect Mexican corn salad--I will dream of this Sliders with dipping sauce--amazing Grilled cheese--he made noises while eating it! Vegetable curry-- she would have added some type of protein if ordering again Meat and cheese platter--divine. Drinks were original and full of character. Bill for the group of six was $120 USD (not including tip) Coronas and Pacifico's are $1 each and some of our group did drink these which brought the bar tab down. We came in on opening night for a soft opening. We tried some featured cocktails and tostadas. Their features cocktails were the farmarita (carrot juice margarita) and hibiscus margarita (made with mezcal). The farmarita had an interesting taste.. not good or bad with a spicy kick to it. The hibiscus margarita was smoky and delicious!! I opted for 3 rounds of it. In addition we tried the Malbec which was rich, earthy and smooth. The tostadas were tiny bites of deliciousness!! Our absolute favorite was the smoked marlin!!! You will not be full but you will appreciate every bite. The ceviche tostada wAs a close second. The vibe is more lounge/bar, but they are definitely serving quality stuff!! read more

Went here for my Girlfriends Bday and we were so disappointed. 1. Service was beyond slow. Never received replacement water. Never came to ask how our meals were. Took 30 minutes just to take our order. Food took over 45 minutes took show up! 2. The meal: terrible. I am surprised of the great reviews? The Short-rib was cold and no flavor and the chicken sandwich was terrible. 3. The server wish I can remember his name, not helpful at all. At end of meal, ordered Jameson and 7, they brought 15 minutes later some type of rum drink? Asked the waiter to just take off the bill and he gave us such a hard time and excuses that he had to go to his manager to get approval, that we gave up and just got another drink. We just wanted to get out of there. This was the worst place we ever went to in Cabo. We went here because of the reviews...not at all what the reviews say. I would not recommend this place! Great vibe and service. The food was good, but watch out for the 'family style' offer. We paid $50 per person, for 8 of us, and there was enough food for maybe two people. Lots of chips, salsa and s'mores, but they gave us maybe 8 slices of beef for all of us. We were quite surprised to find that there was really no entree, aside from more chips and salsa! The bar is great, and the bartenders put on quite a show when pouring drinks. We had a great time, aside from leaving more hungry than when we arrived!.
