This place had really delicious large slices of pizza available, a grilled cheese for the little one and a large and delicious meatball sub for me. Prices are fair. Place offers a variety of pastas and sandwiches too. Noticed burgers and gyros on the menu too. Owner was super friendly. Place was clean. He even took all of our trash and gave a candy to my nephew. Would definitely come back to visit when in the area. read more

Our family loves Outpost's pizza, subs, salads, wings, and great service. Whether we have the food delivered or pick it up, it is outstanding. I suspect they make their own breads and it is crispy outside and soft inside - a great combo. My personal favorites are pepperoni pizza and the best ever Philly cheese steak with all the toppings. Our pizza night is Friday - and Outpost is our choice. read more

My granddaughter and I stopped in to have a quick lunch. What a surprise! We ordered the lunch special and enjoyed delicious crust, thin crust, flavorful pizza with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The service was friendly, the menu surprisingly large, and the restrooms were clean. We both highly recommend Outpost Pizza. It will be my new stop on my way back back-and-forth from Long Island to Boston and back. read more

Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. I don't order all the time, maybe 4 times a month or so, and they have a delivery driver, Andrew, who after 1 visit to my home, called before he arrived to let me know he will be parking a house down and didn't want to ring the bell because he didn't want to wake up our newborn. I mean, I didn't ask this or say anything about it, he just remembered seeing our newborn the previous time and went the extra mile to make sure the door bell or the sound of his car would wake her up.. First off the employees and the owner(s) here are so friendly, fast and efficient. I am lucky enough to work on the same block and often will stop in on my way home for a slice (Love the mushroom and they heat it up for you and the slices are BIG) or a sandwich/salad. The eggplant parmesan sub sandwich is great as is the Sammy Davis Jr. wrap. Generous portions. Two of the salads I've tried were both great. Good caesar (I got shrimp on mine) and the Momma Maria. Fresh and filling. Prices are great, parking available outside. Truly love this place. read more

I ordered a grilled chicken sub with just lettuce, tomato and onion to go. I get all the way home and the sub did not have onion it had mayo. I drive all the way back there and they made me a new one, I get all the way home again and the roll was not toasted, there was absolutely NO color on the bread and the replacement sub was HALF the size of the the one I returned. I then called to let them know and the owner was a nasty prick, He asked me if I " want my ass kissed " then hung up on me. Shortly later I called back pissed that I actually gave this asshole my money and he didn't seem to give a shit. I even said I will drive back there a second time to prove the sub roll was NOT toasted and it's half the size of the other one, his response was "bring it back and I will burn it" he even told me to "go elsewhere. All I wanted was the sandwich I ordered and paid for but the PRICK owner didn't want to hear it. I have proof of everything I said. read more

In my opinion it is the best pizza in Westport! I love the cheese pizza. I am uncertain if it is the cheese or the sauce that gives the pizza the great taste. During my pregnancy and lunch brakes, it was the only pizza I would go to. The cheese fries are great! The people are nice and friendly. Casher is always friendly and has a smile on his face. It does get busy during lunch hours but the seating is not a problem. The times I have gone it is full but the workers are fast and seem to know what they are doing. Thank you for satisfying my cravings during my pregnancy the whole summer of 2023! read more

This place was very busy on a Friday night. It only has a few tables but most of the business is takeout. Because of the takeout business it was loud and not very relaxing to dine in. You must order at the counter and pay before getting your food. They have small soda fridge with some soda, water and fruit drinks/tea. We ordered a large pie with mushrooms and extra sauce. The pie came out pretty quickly. It looked good and had fresh mushrooms which is key. Canned mushrooms are the worst on pizza. There was plenty of sauce and cheese and had a very thin crust. But because of the extra sauce and water from the mushrooms the crust was soggy towards the middle. It just didn't hold up. The overall flavor wasn't bad but I finished unsatisfied. I was hoping that this would be my new go to pizza place but it wasn't. read more

Sixty-plus years of out of control deficit spending has rendered the price of food prohibitive, and pizza has followed suit, many places charging north of thirty bucks for a pie; more a reflection of the declining value of the dollar than anything to do with greed or avarice. To speak plainly, the number of Italians and Greeks in the pizza business has been dwindling of late as those traditional pizzamakers have largely been supplanted on these shores by stickmen from other less pizza-centric locales such as South and Central America; folks for whom pizza is just another food; and for whom pride and tradition typically revolve around issues of family, nation of origin and favorite soccer team; not entirely dissimilar from the pizzaolas of yore, but with a critical difference: no innnate connection to the pizza culture. Enter Joey and his father, the owners of Outpost Pizza here in Westport, and what you see is a comforting and delicious journey back in time to a place where A) the pizza is the best in town bar none, B) the pricing scheme is beyond reasonable, and the gentlemen involved are two of the most stand-up, good guys going. It is genuinely a pleasure interacting with these two, and their staff which is also hand selected and approved. The ambience is perfect because there are NO WAITRESSES! This is the place you wish Westport pizzeria was. Yep Westport, I said it. Come at me. This is not fancy pizza, this is generic local pizza place pizza and it's very good. Hot oil is good which puts it just above super basic but make no mistake, THIS it that pizza place you used to go to in that town somewhere! Wow! So we decided to try them as they're rather new to the area and we pass them by almost daily. The pizza is delicious! Check the photos. The Hot Oil pizza, which I like to get at Colony Grill, is so good. The woman working the phone was super friendly and when we came to pick it up was inviting. No idea what the bad reviews are talking about, perhaps they're the competition lol. Will be ordering again 10/10 read more

STAY AWAY! RUDE OWNER AND BAD FOOD The pizza here is very bland and the crust is hard as a rock. I would suggest going down the street to Joe's. Originally when I wrote this review I had given 3 stars. However, the owner responded in a sarcastic manner claiming I was related to Joe's pizza (which I'm not) since I had mentioned it. So now I am here revising my review to 1 star (a first). Glad to know the owner is as disgusting as the pizza! read more

My husband got us takeout twice now and I loved everything both times. While there are certainly plenty of pizza options in the area. This is one that is reasonably priced and offers all the classics. The pepperoni pizza is delicious. I like their thinner crust, it's not too thin. Also a fan of their antipasta and chefs salads. We will definitely put them in rotation. read more

Great local spot for a slice. I've been working in the area for a couple weeks and I've been getting lunch here pretty regularly, and I definitely recommend if your looking for a quick bite. So far I've had the chicken parm wedge and a few of the specialty slices and I've been very happy with the quality and portions. I can be pretty critical of pizza but this place checks all the boxes. Good crust, good sauce, and good toppings. Also a pretty good value, especially for Westport. read more

New pizza in Westport is an exciting thing and we've only heard good things so far from other locals so we had to try. Fast delivery with piping hot food earns an extra star alone in my book, which is exactly the service we got! We got a large bacon in honor of what would be my late grandmas 95th birthday and it was pretty tasty. Sauce on the sweeter side. Also being a colony fanatic but also someone who hates to go and pick up colony, I had to try this places take on hot oil pizza. Obviously not the same as that colony goodness but still pretty good. They also have a pretty big menu so my family is excited to explore it and give this place another try! #supportlocal read more

My family likes the pizza but I find the payment process to be rather fishy. They claim the card processor company won't give them a new machine so they physically take your card and input the card number manually and they can't swipe the card either. After several encounters I asked if they offered Apple Pay and they could. They don't normally offer it. Then on my bill I noticed a convenience fee. So if you use any rewards cards or if you use Apple Pay with the Apple Card, they make you pay a fee to recoup the rewards. No disclosure. Not customer friendly to add fees. Better choices in Westport. read more

I have been eating at Outpost Pizza in Stamford ever since I was a child. It was always delicious; the pizzas, the burgers, the wraps, everything was fantastic! So when they decided to open up a new location in Westport, it was good to see that the quality of food and service passed over and made even better! I got delivery and I asked on the phone if they honor the large pizza with 12 garlic knots for $17.99 the delivery guy brought the pizza and it was mangled like he took a hard Turn or something it was completely not edible .... and I was charged $26 so they didn't honor the coupon like they said they would over the phone ... the owner argued with me when I called accusing me of purposely doing it and taking a picture for a free pie when I simply wanted just a edible pie for my family of 4 .. 2 pieces out of 8 were edible .. I demanded a new pie not my money back and still continued to argue with me ... never getting anything from them again !!!! read more

Do not order from this place. I ordered a large cheese pizza and an hour and a half later it shows up with just bread and sauces, when we called to let them know we received the wrong pizza they claimed we ordered a cheese pizza with no cheese, this is ridiculous- on the receipt they sent me there is nothing that says we ordered with no cheese. I attempted to order a pizza online from their website. After submitting the order, an error message was displayed, and I did not receive any confirmation. So I ordered from another restaurant. The next day I noticed that they charged me for the pizza. I stopped by the restaurant to explain the issue, expecting a simple refund. After the manager asked me about my problem, he replied "that's strange", and went into the back room. I waited 15 minutes but he never returned-- basically hiding from me. Pathetic. read more

None of the three employees working the front of the store were wearing masks when I stopped in for a pizza today at 1:00 PM, despite the Westport public mask mandate. I left and won't return. The pizza is just OK and does not justify the unnecessary health risk. Julian's and Ignazio's are superior alternatives. read more

Everyone was happy with their dinner so that was good. Service was efficient and prices fair considering quality, quantity and location. If you're looking for a nice Italian place in the area that's not too expense this is a good choice
