Great variety of puzzles with a fun theme. Perfect for teams of 3-4. Puzzles were medium level difficulty. We also did Watson's Revenge which was full of clever puzzles, fun reveals and unique locks. Definitely have experienced players on your team as this one is pretty challenging. 4+ teammates is good for this one. Lastly, we did 13th Floor which was luckily not a scary room, just a slightly creepy theme. Really enjoyed the puzzles and riddles in this one as well as the interactive elements. 3-5 is good for this one. Puzzles are medium to hard difficulty. Rave reviews for the fun game master. The inventory/closeup system for the virtual/remote rooms were a bit tricky to juggle but allowed us to divide and conquer.

We came to do one, but the experience was pretty heavy for the group, and the great staff there let us change to a room that was better suited to our group, right on the fly! We ended up doing "King Arthur's Quest" and Sean, our gamemaster, did a great job at keeping us moving! A lot of fun and keep us occupied for an hour! We will definitely come back for other challenges! If you are thinking about coming, a word from the now-wise: pay heed to the challenge rating (PG, PG-13, etc.). And don't be afraid to ask questions about the challenge when you have your pre-meeting. If you are afraid of the dark - ASK! your gamemaster if the room is going to be dark. If you have to switch escape rooms based on your comfort factor, do it, you'll be glad you did. Thanks again Sean!

I booked just for two of us. The experience was extraordinary! Since we were the last group, when we finish we continue to talk with the owner. We learned that is a family owned business where they design all the puzzles. I definitely recommend to visit! No minimum participants (although some puzzles requires two person working together). I will surely visit again!

"Nonna's House" was a well designed room with a good background story and a variety of different puzzles mixed in, some with more advanced mechanics. I wish the ending was a little more conclusive and included Nonna a bit more rather than simply us finding the money and exiting the room, but that's us being nitpick-y. Ocean State Escape has not been open long, but so far they are doing a nice job keeping up with the bigger names in the state. There is some room for improvement - as one would expect for any new business - but they have a lot of true potential. I'm looking forward to see what they come up with in the future. Keep up the great work, folks!

All at a price point that won't leave you scratching your head. My wife and I came here to wrap up our anniversary escape room tour and absolutely had a great time. We were immediately welcomed by the owner who struck up conversation about how they just opened recently, what they're working on, and some of the neat little features that they're implementing as part of the Escape Room Passport program that a lot of other New England escape rooms are starting to do recently. Super enjoyable and warm to talk to, like most owners in the escape room community seem to be. The prices are right on par with others in New England at $25 a head, though I did LOVE the option for a little more (+$5\person) to make the room private. That's a feature that not many others offer, and gives great flexibility to people wanting to give these types of games a try in a more private atmosphere, without worrying if you'll be grouped up with strangers in the room. The room itself was really fun. Clues were clear, and flowed into each other nicely. There weren't red herrings typical of big box or amateurish rooms that artificially inflate escape rates for bragging rights, and the non clue props were a nice touch, though a bit misleading in some spots. The production quality was right about what we expected for a newer business fresh into the field. Lower quality printouts and some hard to read handwriting had us scratching our heads in some places, but we escaped the room, and had a blast doing it. Overall this place has so much promise, and if you're in the Wakefield\Naraggansett area looking for a fun activity that isn't tough on the wallet, this place is a super fun tucked away spot to have a great time!

The owner was very friendly, the clues creative and polished. Only two rooms but sounded like the owner plans to switch them up often! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some fun in Rhode Island! :)
