I'm so sad because we were simply passing through Medford and just so happened to eat at this cute little diner. Yet, during our short time here, this place has easily stolen our hearts with the best pancakes we've ever eaten! Do NOT sleep on those pancakes!! I had the shrimp and andouille sausage frittata with fried green tomatoes, it was very well made, loaded with perfectly cooked shrimp and sausage, and a large portion. I also had the best Bloody Mary I've ever had there, and that's usually my go-to for a breakfast cocktail. The latte was perfectly balanced as well. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Even though the place was packed I didn't feel rushed or overlooked in the slightest. Food and drinks both came out quickly. Amazing house-made bear claws. I loved my experience at Over Easy for so many reasons. The inside is so adorable, it's kind of hipster but also kind of 50's with the flooring and the old timey fridge. Aside from the decor, they have the most unique list of mimosa flavors (elderflower grapefruit, prickly pear, kiwi pineapple, etc) I've ever seen. It was hard to decide but I went with the prickly pear and it was so good. They have brunch everyday which is a way to win my heart all in it's own but besides just offering brunch, the menu they offer is amazing! I got the breakfast burrito, it was huge and tasty and my friend got the frittata and she said it was great too. Our server was attentive and super friendly and prices were appropriate. The biscuits and gravy are delicious. We could have split one order and been pleasantly full. They use southern style biscuits and a mushroom based gravy - so good. We also had the crispy chicken sandwich. Again, so good - every element was tasty. We had to knife and fork it though - too loaded to eat it as a sandwich. Our server was great and recommended the perfect hot sauce to go with the biscuits and gravy. We suspect the sauces (including ketchup) are small batch, local made? Again, so good. Our group stopped here on the way back to Portland for breakfast. This spot was a pleasant surprise and a cute gem in Medford. The servers were very friendly and quick to seat us. They only do brunch 3 days a week and have a rotating brunch menu. I ordered the a Spicy Bloody Mary that was quite delicious and had the right amount of spiciness that I prefer. As I sat at the counter looking out onto Bartlett Street I was entertained watching customers try to enter by the wrong door. He he! The menu change probably seasonally depending on what's fresh in any particular time of year, it's October so they had pumpkin spice pancakes and that's what I had they were so good and they were topped with cinnamon whip cream, all I can say is wow! They have outdoor seating a little too cool for me but they also have indoor seating and it was spaced really nicely everybody was wearing a mask so I felt very secure in that situation being that we are still in Covid land! A pointer, parking is spares they literally only have six parking spaces in front of their business if you turn on their street and those parking spaces are taken you will need to go to the end of what looks like a cul-de-sac, turn right, and then make a left because that is a one-way street you can either park in that parking garage when you make the first left or go to the end of that street make another left and make another round to see if you can get a parking space on the street before you get to Bartlett, so my advice is just find a parking space as you start approaching Bartlett and park there because it literally is just right around the corner. read more

As a family of 6 we approached it family style, we had the peach pancakes, the chilaquiles, the plain Jane & the biscuits with gravy. Kids all had hot cocoa to drink. The pancakes - my littles asked if I could make them like this at home - that's a huge compliment. They usually compare all pancakes to mine & 9/10 mine are better. Chilaquiles - the green sauce on it was amazing. I was searching for the chips with that sauce on it. Biscuits & gravy - I was like corn? What? No thanks - but I was wrong. This gravy is so savory & delicious. Very herbal, some rosemary, thyme, chives & parsley are my guess - very flavorful. Even the biscuits were flavorful, jalapeño & cheese or something like they. Yumm. Plain Jane - nothing too special, but then again it's eggs, bacon, potatoes & toast with avocado. What should be special about it? With our 4yr olds it was the closest thing we could find since they don't have a "kids menu" Hot cocoa - you have to try it. The whipped cream has cinnamon & nutmeg in it, I think. It's made fresh & very savory. Husband thought it made it taste butter when mixed in. Whatever it was, it was fantastic. I am all for a little flavor twist. I am known for them in my own kitchen. Was passing through town on my way from SF to Portland and stopped here for breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy. Pretty good and filling. Waitress was nice. Being during COVID times and this being my first stop up from SF I was a little thrown by nobody wearing masks and I think I got some weird looks for wearing one myself, but, such is life. The main thing that made my experience worse was they seem to have a fly problem for their outdoor dining. I spent the entire time I was eating try to swat flies and waving them off my food, made my experience far less than ideal. Maybe ask to sit inside I guess. read more
