    Alaskan King Salmon

My friend brought me here as a late birthday dinner. We didn't have a reservation and were told we'd have to sit in the bar because they had so many reservations which was strange because there wasn't anyone at tables and some tables remained empty the whole time we were there. But alas, are server we got was great. She was nice and checked in but not overly so. The salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. The Ol' Cubano is a play on an old fashion but with rum. The only disappointment was the dessert... it was just okay. The texture wasn't very creamy and I'm still uncertain where the brûlée played into it. I would much rather have just had crème brûlée if it had on the menu. Overall we had a nice visit and would come back again in the future.

Everything is great in this place the customer service is great and me and my family love the food! We always eat here around dinner time and we love to order the raw oyster and they are fresh all the time! My husband love the steak and I love the Porcini Ravioli with shrimp. Our kids favorite King Salmon, the price is just good on the quality of the food!

Sunday brunch menu. The service was great and the vibe was Sumner. The menu prices were average with lots of options to select from. We dined near the bar at a table right outside the kitchen. It's definitely worth trying this place out. The food we selected was delicious. We ordered various of plates. One suggestion: side of grilled shrimp said five we got three. For the price it should be five regardless of the sizes of the shrimp.

Was okay...the appetizers were good. The entrees were mediocre. Definitely not worth a $200 bill. Also don't care for that they don't have bathrooms made for just woman.

Great find in Sumner. Excellent oysters and tremendous happy hour every day, even Sat & Sun. Beautiful setting and excellent service, convenient parking. Katya was very attentive and information, great recommendations and service. This was our initial visit, but we will return.

Cool vibes, delicious food. Service was great and prompt! We ordered the "not wedge" salad, the brussel sprouts, and ravioli. All were super tasty! The only thing I wasn't too impressed with is the drinks. I ordered the mule and it was meh... especially for $15! Also, they do charge a 4% service charge so just know that. Would def come back again!

My daughter and I came out to stop by. This place is modern and nice. Parking is great. We were greeted and sat at a table the staff was nice but seemed insincere. I only mention this because I've been in the customer business for over 20+years and you can tell. I appreciate the effort though. So we ordered our food and waited till our food came. Slowly, the food started to arrive, appetizer then entrèes. One of our apps were given to another table so we ended up waiting a bit longer but comped for it. That was very kind of them. Our server kept dropping items. I honestly was t impressed with much of the food. Lacked so much flavor and texture. The best thing we ate was the tart cherry butter for the bread. I ordered the halibut fish and chips and my daughter had the salmon with puréed potatoes and roasted veggies. Hers had the truffle oil which, to me, overwhelmed the flavor of the entire dish. I'm glad we tried it but not sure if I'd return. We'll see...

This place is on a wild ride. Sometimes we go and the food is excellent other times it is barely edible. I'm not sure if they've been switching chefs or what?

Between me & my girl we tried a bunch of different things -- the Texas smoked sausage, guacamole, arroz de la casa, esquite, quesadillas, fish tacos, the 8 oz filet mignon, and the American wagyu burger. Honestly there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. The filet was cooked perfectly & came out on a hot plate. It will continue to cook if you leave it on the plate but they disclose that & give you an extra plate to transfer it to (some people complain about their steak being overcooked but in my opinion that's their own fault lol). The esquite and arroz de la casa were amazing, I'll order both sides every time I come back. Overall it was just a really solid meal. Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're in the Sumner area.

Flavors on both dishes were complemented with the various garnish (sweet grape tomatoes for instance with the crab cakes and pickled red onion on the dip). We joined the online waitlist at 1:00 PM on a Sunday. While we were seated fairly quickly, we still had to wait in a long line just to speak with the host to check in. The restaurant was completely packed well past 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once we sat down. It took forever just to place our order. Our chowder arrived about 10 minutes later, but it tasted like it came straight out of a can, and the accompanying dinner roll was completely flavorless and factory-made. Since we were hungry, we ate it quickly anyway. It took 45 minutes for our entrees--a Country Fried Steak and a California Benedict--to arrive. By 3:00 PM, we were famished, which made it all the more disappointing to discover our food was cold, soggy, and hard. The cubed fries, scrambled eggs, and English muffin tasted like they had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being brought to our table. For a restaurant advertising a "farm-to-table" concept, the eggs, salad, croutons, and muffin felt entirely mass-produced. The service was equally disappointing; our server never returned to refill our water. While the atmosphere is nice and the space is large enough to fit over 100 people, they seemed severely understaffed. The host stand was backed up, it took too long to order, and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. For $23 a plate, I expect significantly better quality in both the food and the service.

It was our first visit last night. I'm all for constructive…read morecriticism so that's why I'm here. Pros: Food was great. My wife said the chicken parmigiana was one of the best examples she's ever had. She usually isn't into red sauce that much but she loved it. Most of us had the salmon, which I think was cooked just right and was well presented. It's kind of a weird location but it works that it has a lot of parking. The inside's nice and clean, the people we engaged with there were pleasant/service was good. Cons: Main issue last night was how long it took to get our meal: I think it took over an hour. I don't fault a place for a single slow experience, and the waitress was apologetic about the delay, but for the level of establishment it is, it would've been nice for the table to have been given some free bread or something to munch on as an apology for the wait. The inside was pretty smoky when we got there, light beams cast. Not sure if smoke derived from cooking or the inside fireplace (insert?) but my wife's sensitive to the smoke, so her eyes were bothering her for a bit. She was talking about possibly needing to go outside when I think the AC kicked in and the air quality improved. Otherwise, I'd say the main con is it's on the pricey side. Like after tax the salmon is almost $50, no salad/side included, and it's not a large portion. It was, however, delicious.

We all enjoyed our breakfasts; they were nice to cater to allergies or food substitutions. We chose the french toast, eggs in purgatory, & the eggs benedict. 4.5 stars! Love The Mill! Have been coming here for years…read moreand the food is consistently wonderful. Brunch, Special menus for holidays, dinner, cocktails, dessert-it has all been top notch. This is a gem. Menu changes regularly so there is always something fresh and new. Prices may seem a little high for the area but the food and drink justify it. On my most recent visit we got 2 appetizers, two entrees (one was steak with shrimp add on), 3 desserts, and 5 cocktails for $250 which was not outrageous. Portion sizes are great. Food is full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We have sat on the restaurant side a few times but normally sit in a booth on the bar side. There is also a small patio off the bar in good weather. Bartenders are friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Only reason I knocked it a half star is the service on the bar side can be slow or feel forgotten about sometimes but it just depends on the time of day and if the bartender is having to do double duty or if they have dedicated wait staff in that area.

When we walked in, we had the option of going to the bar area or restaurant. We chose the bar. The place was spacious and had ample seating. We sat down and a gal came to our table to ask for our order. She immediately came off as very standoffish, but, all good, we were there to relax and enjoy. We ordered wings to start off with. Mind you, it was happy hour which she mentioned herself. Cool, thank you. The wings were decent but some were soggy. But it's all good. We then ordered an entree and more wings because we were hungry. Did another dozen wings in the buffalo sauce. Our waitress, Kalidawn, reiterating the wings were 2 orders. Didn't make sense but it did in the end as she was trying to separate the orders as "half orders" to charge more? When in reality, it was the same buffalo flavor for the dozen wings so it wasn't a "half order". Really? You're going to do all of that to get you an extra few dollars? She was already rude, dismissive, and bothered from the beginning. We try to look past these things but she was truly excessive. It's like she wanted to make a statement and hated that we weren't regulars. We ended up getting sick after eating here. The service was beyond disappointing and the food sucked, but we also got sick which was the cherry on the cake. We will never be back and hope others think twice. And to find out, Kalidawn is the manager at the restaurant. So don't even bother trying to complain about her horrible HORRIBLE service and attitude. She runs the place which makes sense as to why I'm sure they're struggling. Do better.
