I want to publicly thank Tiffany for the miracles she achieved with my hair. She took my hair from and icky ombré mistake I made and made it all look silky, vibrant and beautiful! I'm from Houston and had to take a chance and luckily the first salon I stepped into was Oz A Salon. Everyone and everything looked pretty chic so I felt like I was making a good choice that Saturday I first stepped in. A receptionist who was supper kind recommend Tiffany after asking what I was looking to have done and I made an appointment for Tuesday with her. Tuesday, I was running about five minutes late so i called a head and they were very understanding. So I arrive, I'm greeted, and they offered coffee, tea, and water. Tiffany was so great; soon she felt like a friend that I was visiting. I adore her. She was supportive of my plan to have my hair colored dark blue at the ends and agreed I would need a treatment to restore my damaged hair. She gave an olaplex treatment and later a kérastase treatment. After these processes and rinses she styled my hair and explained the products she used and their purposes. I drive from Hollister just to see her as she is now the only one I trust with my hair. She is so talented and is so honest and I truly love our appointments together. TIFFANY G. IS INCREDIBLE!!!! I am so lucky to have found such an amazing hairdresser. My hair is notoriously difficult - frizzy, curly, unmanageable, dry and oily at the same time. Tiffany has been able to tame this rats nest with simple but beautiful haircuts. She is incredible at what she does - she can look at your face shape and hair type and make a completely accurate recommendation. True artistry. I completely trust her and always go in telling her, do what you think would look good! I used to leave salons extremely upset with the end result, but every time I leave Oz, I'm smiling and feeling like a million bucks. I am new to this area and had been looking for a salon that was more in line with the services and ambiance I was accustomed to. Based on the reviews I read , professionalism was what I got from them . I called and booked my first appointment their customer service was great and very well mannered. Upon my arrival the stylist I booked with made me feel very comfortable everyone was so nice and welcoming it is a very clean salon and I was so pleased with how well the stylist cut/colored and styled my hair based upon a quick assessment of my preferences. Kory gets me; I had a vision for my hair and exactly how I wanted it to look and feel. Kory understood my vision completely, and helped me get the long,shiny, healthy, thick black hair I always wanted. He does amazing styling too. Kory cuts absolutely no corners, he is extremely thorough and takes his time always, even if it means he's there late. With 26 inches of very thick hair, every time I see him he still makes sure to blow dry and style every small section of hair to perfection, without sacrificing any details or rushing, no matter what. Schedule with Gina! First off she's amazing. So I've been to OZ before. I also loved it then. It is pricy but if your looking for quality you have to pay for quality. So I called in Wednesday. Super disappointed after my last and final appointment with Avita. My last visit was not so great but I decided to give her another try. I needed a haircut and toner for my balayge. I don't know what type of toner she used but the products damaged my hair. It's brittle and dry after my appointment. My gut told me to look for another stylist prior to my last appointment with her. It's really frustrating to find another stylist where I can trust to do my hair. I recommend asking about the products before the stylist work on your hair! Sami W. -- Perfectionist. I went to Sami after having a baby and letting my roots grow into an ombre (wasnt too pretty). I wanted my blonde back. Sami took her time on my hair, each section needed different attention and processing time. With her I got my blonde back and it looks great. I remember her saying "I want to make sure this is done right". Not to mention the blow dry, I know it sounds small but I hate the way others dry my hair it gets big and animal like.
