Every now and again I order take out from here. Pretty good but not the best. On this lazy snowy Sunday I wanted something close. I prefer dining in like RM has, I love their decor too. The Walnut Chicken was dreamy! I never had a version that included (diced) apples like this one - very good! J had General Tso's - his go to. Very good - not greasy as some other places. My first time going to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. They seemed to get a lot of takeout traffic and I was one of them. The ambience inside was nice and dim and quiet. Great if you're on a date. I had sushi and shrimp fried rice and the steak. The steak was nicely seasoned. The fried rice had lots of shrimp and I can always appreciated not seeing veins in my shrimp. Always love a restaurant that cares enough to give you deveined shrimp in your rice. The customer service was good too. They seemed to have a mix up with an order but to action to resolve quickly. I'll def order from here again. Next time I'll post pictures because I ate it before thinking of that. read more

Really enjoyed our take out Friday night dinner with Mandarin cuisine! The menu is extensive with so many delicious options! We got our favorites, Sweet and sour chicken, Chicken with Cashew nuts, General Tsos chicken, and Plain lo mein. Everything was delicious, and dinner came with little bags holding all the sauces and a teabag, and of course the fortune cookies. Loads of food, was more the enough for 4 or 5 people and had leftovers. Can't wait to try something different next time. read more

We've been living in the area for 17 years and just discovered Mandarin Cuisine. Our first visit was inside and we had the whole place to ourselves. Very quaint and the owner was pleasant. We had sushi and it was fresh and tasty. Our next visit was takeout and we ordered Shrimp Pad Tai and House Special Mei Fun. It was all delicious. This was our spot after moving to the area- my sister recommended. Good Chinese, not so good sushi. But decent. Until I found a bug in our food. I immediately called and was screamed at by the owner to bring it all back or "it never happened". Why he would want the food with a bug in it is beyond me. I used to frequent this restaurant with my family all the time growing up. So not having been here in years, I decided to try it again with my bf when we were recently craving Chinese. The inside looks nearly the same from when I used to come, booths & tables in a big dining room & nice decorative decor. The only thing they've added is a small sushi bar. Upon sitting down we were quickly greeted and provided water & a bowl of those fried noodles with duck sauce. We were also offered hot tea, which we gladly accepted. The menu is big and has all your typical Chinese & also sushi dishes. We started with the Crab Meat Puffs appetizer (this is called Crab Rangoon elsewhere). There's were just ok... the flavor was good, but just felt like there could've been more filling inside. It looked like maybe the wonton wrappers weren't sealed good enough before frying, and it all leaked out in the fryer. For entrees I ordered the General Tso chicken dinner platter which came with an egg roll, and my bf ordered the Alaska King Crabmeat roll. We both enjoyed our dinners (my bf also enjoyed what I couldn't finish of my plate). Some other reviews said the General Tso chicken was chewy, which is the opposite of what I had. My chicken was tender, not overly cooked, & perfectly seasoned. The fried rice was also so full of flavor, and had lots of veggies & meat in it. The egg roll was perfectly crunchy, and I loved that it came with the dinner entree! I can't speak to the portion size for dining in vs. ordering takeout, as this was our first visit. But even if my entree was less than what I would've gotten if doing takeout, it was still more than enough food for me (and I usually eat a lot!). Like I said, my bf was still a bit hungry after eating his sushi roll, so he finished off my platter and was satisfied. Our waitress was nice, and service was fast upon first sitting down, but it took us a while once we finished to get the check. The only real negative I can comment on is the teapot we were brought was dirty on the outside. Looks like they just refill it for every new guest, without washing it first. Kind of gross. Overall though a great local place, that I will definitely be back to. Maybe next time will order take-out to compare portion sizes. read more

This was my first time ordering from here and my first time ordering a vegetarian dish. I had the Black Mushrooms with broccoli. DELICIOUS!!!! It had mushrooms galore and the perfect amount of broccoli. It was also ready to go by the time I arrived which was probably only 15 minutes after ordering. This is the best Chinese spot in this area that I have found thus far. They offer not only Chinese fair, but Japanese cuisine as well. The prices are reasonable, and the food consistently flavorful and delicious. I tend to be a creature of habit and order the same things, so I haven't tasted a wide array of selections off the menu.. but what I have tasted is always great. The chicken and broccoli is always packed with a ton of chicken and the sauce- scrumptious! My boyfriend absolutely loooooves the pizza rolls. I had never tasted one before having one here and I have to say, they are pretty dang good. Also, the California rolls ($5) come with 6 pieces and always taste fresh, never fishy. For take-out the food always is able to be picked up in 15-20 minutes. There is never a wait. I'm not sure if they offer delivery. They have a dining room here as well, but I have never sat down to eat here. I would definitely recommend trying this place next time you have a craving for awesome Chinese food!!! read more
