Linguini & Shrimp Fra Diavolo and mango martini
    Tiffany N.

Ozzie's continues to be one of our go-to spots whenever we're craving pasta and salad. I ordered the Mango Martini, Linguini & Shrimp Fra Diavolo, and the Hot Spinach, Parmesan & Artichoke Dip. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Fra Diavolo had a nice kick to it, the dip was warm, creamy, and perfect for sharing, and the Mango Martini was a refreshing complement to the meal. As always, the service was excellent, our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The food and service keep us coming back, and Ozzie's remains one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great customer service, big portions, and affordable prices will always be some things that peaks my interest, which leads me to my experience at Ozzie's Good Eats. Upon our arrival, we were quickly seated. Our waiter was jovial and kind, offering great recommendations. We of course had the Ozzie rolls which were warm and delicious. I also had the Louisiana Pasta with the addition of shrimp, which was seasoned well. My only recommendation for this dish would be to ensure that there is enough sauce (I had to request more) for the pasta and possibly a more creamier/thicker sauce (which would have made this dish perfect for me). Overall, I had a good experience.

I feel like I've been to many places like this either sister restaurants or something but the food is always consistent. A relatively small menu but has good options and alittle for everyone. Service is always great. The servers are friendly and attentive. The interior is nicely decorated and has many seating.

Stopped in for Sunday lunch with a friend and this was my first time here! I ordered the soup & sandwich which was a decent deal on the menu. The clam chowder soup was fantastic and one of the best I've had so far. The chicken fontina sandwich was packed with flavor. We also got the Ozzie bread which was fantastic but I was surprised on the quantity you get (I was expecting more). Service was nice and friendly & food did not take long to come. Overall great experience!

Shrimp diavolo (only offered during dinner)-- I absolutely hated it. It's not just marinara with a kick- it's seasoned heavily and tastes bad- like a weird Cajun spice is the only way I can describe it. I honestly had a hard time finishing the pasta. The shrimp is a touch overcooked which is insane, because GAR cooks salmon and steak and everything else to perfection. The only bonus was the shrimp was ginormous and came with 7 (for $28 it better). This place remains one of my favorite restaurants and one of my favorite GAR. Food is consistently as great as the service. The Ozzie rolls here are elite. Still worthy of 5 stars but never ever ordering diavolo ever again.

Great experience as always at Ozzie's!! We ordered the cheeseburger and margarita pizza. The cheeseburger was very good and cooked to order. The only issues were that the cheese wasn't fully melted and the lettuce was below the burger making it soggy. Great taste overall though. The fries were skinny fries and were delicious. This part of the meal was a 8/10. The price went up and it was almost $20.... The margarita pizza was filling and delicious. Melted fresh mozzarella over a bed of marinara sauce. 10/10 with a good price. The service was great, but we had to pay for EACH basket of Ozzie rolls including the first one. Excellent ambiance - soft lighting and incredibly comfortable chairs, booths, and seating.

TLDR: good food, great service, beautiful establishment and awesome for sharing/large parties . Food: Eggrolls (8/10) Branzino (8.5/10) Flatbread (7.5/10) Eggrolls and flatbread were great to share with our larger party. I got the Branzino and it was super duper fresh and tasty. I don't remember the sauce it was paired with but it complimented the fish so well. Definitely would get it again. Service: no complaints! Our waiter explained the menu in great details despite us asking a million questions. Parking: There's a parking lot directly next to the establishment so we literally didn't have to look for a spot !

I had never been here before and was really expecting a noisy cafeteria type of place, not the leather like booths with lovely lighting. They seated the three of us right next to a group of diners that was a little loud instead of staggering the seating. There was plenty of tables that they never utilized. Without being crowded we felt a little cramped. The menu has a nice variety. The server was very pleasant during our lunch service even though we occupied the booth for over three hours - it was a girl's lunch and we had a lot of catching up to do! The food was delicious. It was a nice combination of flavors but the lobster bisque was somewhat bland. It was a heavy creamy soup with little pieces of what may have been lobster - but the soup lacked a nice cream and lobster flavor. The sandwich was delicious!

The Great American Restaurant group often has similar dishes at their various restaurants. I ate at Ozzie's today and there were many of the GAR regular dishes on the menu. Ozzie does have a few pasta dishes that are unique to Ozzie's. The crazy lasagna is one of them. A blend of cheeses, tagliatelle pasta, bolognese and a meatball makes this entree a delicious meal. It's served in a small cast iron skillet. The dish is a nice change from the normal GAR offerings.

We visited Ozzie's Good Eats after running an errand in the area. It was a little busy for a weekday lunch but we were seated right away. For appetizers, we ordered the Ozzie Rolls and Crispy Fried Point Judith Calamari - both GAR signature dishes and not to be missed. I would order more Ozzie Rolls if it were up to me. For entrees, we had Crazy Lasagna and Penne Primavera with Chicken. Both dishes are perfectly proportioned and flavorful! The ambiance was amazing. The service was excellent. I would definitely love to go back!

    Prime rib and baked potato
    Ricky R.

While in town for work, some colleagues and myself were looking for a place that served some really good prime rib. Not your typical prime rib served at some known chain steakhouse, but one that would knock your socks off. Someone had mentioned that Ozzie's was just what we needed. So I called up the gang, loaded in the car, and headed that way. We arrived and started looking for a parking spot. It being a Friday night and crowded, it took a minute, but we found a spot. With our party of 8, I was expecting at least an hour wait. We walked in, and to our surprise, we were seated right away. So far, this is looking like it was going to be a good night. I was digging the whole fancy restaurant vibe, with the laid back attitude this place had going on. Once seated, we were all promptly greeted, and our drink order was taken. The young man taking our order had a huge hickey on his neck, so hopefully our night would be as good as his. I only had one thing in mind to order that I wanted, but I humored myself and perused the menu anyway. There were a lot of good looking dishes on the menu, and was tempted for a minute to stray from what I came for. Luckily, that was a short lived thought, and my eyes landed on the prime rib. I was a little surprised by the price because it was notably higher than a lot of other places. For the price, it better be good. It was twice the price of the one I order from another popular unnamed steakhouse. Our drinks arrived in good time and we all ordered. Mostly all of my friends at the table ordered the sixteen ounce rib. Some ordered regular and some ordered seared. I ordered my prime rib non-seared and medium rare with a baked potato, and a Caesar salad. I ordered the community bread basket to munch on while I wait. The bread basket arrived after a small wait. Little donut hole sized bits of bread, and a butter with some sort of herb in it in the basket. The bread has some sort of sweet sugar or something on the outside, and the bread was sort of thick. I cut into one, added some butter, and was pleasantly surprised. These were delicious. It was weird how it gave off donut hole sweetness, but tasted like bread at the end. We ate the entire basket, and got another. Bonus points for the price, as one basket is only $1. Shortly thereafter, the Caesar salad arrived. Well presented, was very good, and had a weird little spicy kick to it. Interesting.. Very good. Now, time for the main star of the night to enter the chat. The prime rib has arrived. The presentation was fabulous, but I could not wait any longer. I pushed the remnants of the bread and salad out of the way and went straight to work. Oh. My. Gosh. This was melt-in-your-mouth-like-butter goodness. Every bite was absolutely amazing. Perfectly seasoned, so tender, and so very juicy. The creamy au jus sauce under the steak was very savory and paired perfect. Out of the dozens of prime ribs I have ate in my life, this one goes in the top three of my best ever. This was like a date you never want to end. I ate every bite, and wanted more. Oh how I wished I lived here and could come back. After devouring the steak, I almost forgot about the baked potato. It was your typical potato, but very delicious. It soon disappeared too. Now I am left heart broken. I am not sure when my travels will bring me back here, if ever. If I do come back, you had better bet I will be back. I highly recommend Ozzie's, and definitely and unequivocally recommend the prime rib. If you are ever in the area, give it a try. Prime rib is only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Enjoy!

As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

We were happily greeted in and seated. They weren't too busy on this Sunday evening. We were unfortunately served the branzino topped with only the Chilean garlic sauce and not the lemon caper sauce at all. The server wasn't seeming to know what to do with our dissatisfied reaction, so we decided to salvage the fish and ordered the lemon caper on the side, it tasted bland at best. Fish was fine, but unfortunately there was nothing worth mentioning positively about it for its $37 price point. *Neither sauce was worth ordering and unfortunately neither tasted how they were described, more like plain aioli. In our ignorance, we didn't realize branzino meant the whole fish would be served versus a filet. It would have been nice to have been able to read that fact on the menu prior to ordering. We ordered the truffle fries, which had probably zero amounts of truffle on them. Overcooked. We ordered the tropical mojito mocktail, and it was either poorly made or the recipe could use a complete reset. The crab stuffed mushrooms and sauce, amazing. Server, kind. We were asking quite a few questions of him, trying to decide between the Chilean with lobster or the branzino, which showed our ignorance in the fish choices, I believe. A good server would have picked up on this, and went into a much more detailed explanation of both dishes to educate and inform us on making the right decision. So I think it's pretty accurate to say that a good majority of the problems we had could have been salvaged had he been a little more seasoned at reading the individual needs of his customers. Although, with ordering either of these entrees or the truffle fries, we would have been disappointed as the flavor was just not there. Being out of towners used to seafood from California, we were excited to try a new place on the east coast. I read multiple positive reviews from other customers, and unfortunately we are leaving disappointed in the $80 spent. We joked that perhaps the usual chef called in sick and the bus boy took his place. Underwhelming. Overcooked. Bland. But, they had pretty tables.

I wanted him to feel special and have a high quality meal versus an AYCE steak option we tend to book yearly for his birthday. I loved the location. Parking was PLENTIFUL, and no annoying garage or complicated entrance! I have to say I don't really understand the point of a valet service here, though. I mean, if you wanted to park and walk a dozen less steps that would probably be the only valid excuse. I've driven by this location so many times and I've always wondered if it's a Tiffany and Co. Something about the colors. But honestly, the colors are classy and perfect so props! Our table was ready 15 minutes early. The entrance to the restaurant was really impressive and large. My husband said that it reminded him of a nice restaurant in New York City. It definitely gives the vibes that I was hoping for a celebration. We had incredible servers throughout our whole experience. The bread basket was actually so delicious and the butter came with flaky salt. Immediately the way to my heart. Soufaine is an absolute gem!!! we were having a hard time picking a good red dry wine to go with our intended entrée, and he really went above and beyond to make sure that my husband loved not liked his option he picked. He liked the reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and I liked my Malbec. It was tough to resist the cocktails though, I'll def have to try those next time. I really love the special touches that they do for Events. The confetti on the table, the handwritten note, and the fresh long stem rose are so above and beyond. We were actually very hungry so we just opted to go directly to entrées. I ordered the bone in ribeye because I like a fattier cut, and I decided to try the Oscar style with lump crab. My husband got the bone in Porter house. Steaks here are actually cooked exactly as you order it. Nothing was overcooked. We decided to split the lobster mac & cheese, and the truffle fries. I think the lobster mac & cheese might be the best I've ever tasted. The noodles were not overcooked. The lobster chunks were present, and the cheese sauce was full of flavor and absolutely not lacking. The Oscar style was very interesting. Certainly had a lot of crab meat which I absolutely love, but I don't know what I was expecting necessarily. It came with a heavy hollandaise and I wish I would've asked for a description before committing to it. We devoured our steaks and still had a whole meal left to take home! This was a really nice aspect because it was not the most budget friendly meal, but the fact that we were able to enjoy it for two separate dinners definitely made it feel like a better bang for the buck. Lastly, the server brought out a complementary dessert for the celebration. My husband loved the crème brûlée cheesecake and I really loved all of the fresh berries! All in all, it was a very elevated dining experience. They pulled out all the stops and they really understand customer service because they were always checking in on us and always making sure that we were completely happy. Oh, and shout out to the owner's dad, who is in his 90s and makes the bread, a rich sourdough, served warm, that has a 50 year old starter at its essence. Yum. We did the wine pairings and I def recommend. Some really good wines, curated from small vineyards globally, matched perfectly and well presented. The sommelier nailed it. We also just loved the service. Nice touches pre arrival, they are expecting you when you arrive and there's a lovely personal touch and welcoming feel. The ambience is warm, and you can hear and talk and it does feel like you're at a dinner party with friends and family. Finally, shout out to the chefs and servers. Knowledgable, conversational, and charming. We really enjoyed the Chef's Counter and the entire experience. Kudos to Chef Jon Krinn and his family for creating this masterpiece of a restaurant. It is Michelin star worthy, and we cannot wait to go back.

Hats off to the incredible team at Elyse. I mean every experience we have had there has been…read moretop-notch and I can't believe I haven't reviewed them once yet! I mean shame on them because they deserve some seriously high praise. And honestly, they pulled out all the stops for their recent New Years Eve dining experience - I'm talking caviar, white truffle, A5 wagyu, a custom cocktail (because they know I like gin and yuzu) and a painfully decadent dessert - What a way to send out 2025! I mean, honestly, the meal was exquisite and so perfectly executed. Each dish is crafted with a passion and care for food that absolutely shines. I mean the Foie Gras (sp??) - I don't even really like the stuff, put the way they sauteed it, put it on top of some sort of savory cake and slathered it with this balsamic gastrique - it was like bacon and pancakes smothered in maple syrup just amplified to 100. Bottom line: I would eat this every day (and amplify my weight by 100 too). The snow crab, I don't know if it's the care in selecting the product or the techniques used to prepare it (probably both ), but they packed so much crab flavor into that dish! And the dark chocolate cheesecake, it was magic that can make something so dark, so bold, so rich feel so light when you are eating it. This was just one specific meal here, but I am surprised and delighted every time we get the privilege to dine at Elyse. It's not just the food, it's the atmosphere and the attention of the staff. They remember details from your previous visits, any special notes from your reservation and really tailor the experience to you, making it all that much more special on your special night out
