I can't say enough great things about this family owned business! We were on our way to Colorado when our trailer decided to hit a pothole and break our leaf springs. Unfortunately, the 40 east freeway going to Flagstaff has the worst roads ever. I suggest staying the fast line. Anyways, I called P&M, and Pete answered and said to come by the shop the next day to see if he has the parts. Lo and behold he had the part for our trailer! He was such a lifesaver and we were able to continue our trip to Colorado! Pete and Mary really care about their customers, and they are so knowledgeable about RV's and trailers. This family-owned business was super. I had a safety issue with my RV electrical brake and Kelly got me into their busy Friday afternoon schedule without hesitation. I had already tried to get seen by 3 other mechanics in another city & by 3 other mechanics in Flag. Anyway, Kelly's husband, Chad, got on it and got it fixed in 15 minutes -- and only charged me for 15 minutes. In other words, they didn't gouge me cuz it was an emergency issue. Customer service could be better. Not sure if it was because we were not men and she thought we did not know what we were doing? If she really wanted to make a sale she would have done more to help us. Meanwhile I got what I wanted down the road in 10 mins, all the while she made me wait 3 hours to say no I can't help you. read more

We were traveling from the AV to Ruidoso towing a trailer. About an hour outside of Flagstaff one of our u-bolts that holds the axle snapped. Luckily my hubby was able to fasten it enough for us to crawl our way to P&M Trailers. They had the most incredible staff! How about six stars! I'm a full time RVer/Boondocker so my rig is my roof. I bent an axle somewhere between Moab and Grand Canyon so made my way to Flagstaff. I called a few shops who hemmed & hawed (seemed like they almost didn't want the work) then found P&M. I spoke with Pete who said, "bring it on down". Kelly ordered parts that day and repairs were effected the next. They also discovered that I needed new bearings so that was done as well. For my stay, they directed me to an awesome boondocking spot called Cinder Hills. So, I got in on the same day that I called, parts were ordered that day, repairs were made the next and they essentially gave me a place to stay...oh, and did I mention how happy I was at seeing the bill?Family operated. Stopped by the day after Thanksgiving to look at a trailer I saw online. When I got there, the gate was closed, so I called the number on the building. Pete answered right away, and explained he was out plowing snow. (Flagstaff just got over a foot of the white stuff.) He stopped plowing, we looked at the trailer, and 30 minutes later I was rolling out the gate with my brand new trailer. I highly recommend this business to anyone in the market. I am most impressed with how Pete diagnosed my odd floorboard problem in the horse trailer. Several metal crossbars had broken. He welded those and repaired the necessary boards which had not had sufficient support. We were camping in Williams. P and M were recommended for a man emergency fix of a bent axle. I called and spoke with a woman who was very helpful and understanding. They ordered the correct axle and had it at their shop the next morning. Unfortunately we had an emergency at home and could not get the axle fixed. I called them to explain and it wasn't a big deal. These guys were very polite and helpful and I would recommend them when out in Flagstaff. read more

I had my L Q trailer serviced at P & M Trailer, recently, for a long trip. I chose to do it two weeks before I left so if it needed anything, there would be time. I picked it up and they had re packed a bearing, but didn't say it needed anything else. We had a blow out on Memorial Day coming home. I bought 4 trailer tires in Barstow and was grateful nothing horrible happened. I went back to P & M Trailer to ask what the service they did on my trailer included. Kelli told me the list and it included tire check. When I told her I had bad tires on my trailer on the trip and that I would have purchased new tires from her at the time of service, she kinda shrugged and walked away from me. My safety was not important to them. I am very disappointed and will not go back there, ever. read more

We custom ordered an 8x5 Top Hat utility trailer from P&M. Kelli informed us that the delivery would take 6-8 weeks. One day into the 6th week she called and arranged delivery. The trailer was everything we could expect and Kelli spent a good amount of time explaining features and maintenance tasks. as well as attaching the trailer to our Jeep. Paul spent over an hour with us on purchasing a trailer brake controller and a hitch for a cargo trailer we're purchasing from a different firm, including talking to that firm's owner about proper hitch fit. He didn't have the right gear for us and recommended an alternative supplier in town. All done with courtesy and helpful information. My husband and I were traveling from Lake Havasu to go camping near Williams and broke down in Ashfork, Arizona. The wheel bearings had blown out on our travel trailer but we were able to get our trailer into the town of Williams where our son lives. We went to a local repair shop and found that we needed a new brake drum and the parts that go with it. They weren't able to find the parts locally but sent us to P&M in Flagstaff. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised that the staff was so friendly and helpful. We showed them the old parts that we had brought with us and they were able to find exactly what we needed quickly. We were able to get the parts we needed, and although they weren't trying to sell us anything that we didn't need, she was very knowledgeable and told us what we might have to get in order to complete the repair properly with replacement parts. My Son and I were traveling from New Orleans ,La to Santa Rosa Ca. When we reached Flagstaff, AZ we heard reports of 40 to 60 mph wind gust on Interstate 40, upon hearing this we attempted to install our weight distribution system we found that it damaged and would not work. We called around to several shops and found that most shops would require us to wait for hours before they could even look at what we had going on. My son got a hold of P&M they had us come right down, upon our arrival they dropped what they were doing and looked at our situation. This father and daughter team were able to install a new weight distribution hitch kit with anti sway bar and had us back on road in 45 min, and the price was the best of any of our quotes. This is one of the best service establishments of any kind anywhere. On Christmas vacation 2012 we were involved in a car accident in Flagstaff (in the snow) which destroyed (rolled) our box trailer. The friendly folks at P&M Trailer Sales set us up with a great price on a new trailer and moved all of our cargo from the old trailer to the new trailer, free of charge, on a cold and snowy December morning. They also patched up the broken window on our vehicle so we could continue to our Christmas destination in Colorado. The nicest, friendliest and most honest people you will ever encounter.
