    Invoice number: 012-6955479-00002 This review is for anyone debating whether or not to buy any appliance from P.C. Richard & Son. A business that has been around for over 5 decades selling appliances. First thing to say is if you do have an issue within the first 30 days, you will have to arm wrestle with "customer service" reps & the sales dept reps. Who will hacky-sack you from service to sales, back & forth for hours on the phone. When you get tired of dealing with that & ask for a manager, supervisor anyone who could actually help. They will just keep passing the ball to someone who has no idea why you're calling or how long you've been on the phone. In fact it took me 2 months & 2 in person visits to the store to speak with an actual store manager. I'll say it again 2 MONTHS. I will summarize my experience which I will describe as a perpetuating nightmare, fueled by either complete incompetence or willful negligence. My initial purchase was on Oct. 23, 2024 It is now Jan. 5, 2025 I've had this company to my house 6 times for a dishwasher! 6 times! 1) First appliance did not work right out of the box. 2 weeks in, shuts off mid wash. 10/23/24 2) Service technician unplugged it & plugged it back in. That's all he could do. 11/16/24 3) Go to store to pick out new appliance to replace. 11/29/24 - sales rep puts in wrong item number. 4) Technician comes to house 12/6/24 -installs washer. - it is the wrong dishwasher. (I also had to run the drain/water hose to the sink myself as the technician said he did not know how to run a hose behind an 18" cabinet ‍) 5) Call Bayshore store - let them know I'm very upset with everything that's happening. - Aron who picks up the phone, says I have to speak with Jane who sold me the washer to Figure out what happened. - I STILL can not speak with a manager. There are multiple managers who work in the store, I could nor get a name or even a phone call back from one. 6) Go back to the store to figure out what happened. - My wife who is breast feeding our 5 month old, had to go in and demand to speak with a manager. - Marco gives us his card & says he has no idea about anything that happened. - Says his workers were "covering" for one another. That is why he or any other manager was not aware. 6) They come the following week install the right dishwasher. 12/13/24 It is now January 5th, 2025. This "brand new" dishwasher form a different brand, a higher quality make, is now HAVING THE SAME EXACT issue as the first washer. I would appreciate a phone call from anyone from P.C. Richard's who rectify this. I will be speaking with Corporate directly. I do not recommend this company for anything. It was complete mess every step of the way. Please follow the pictures & videos below, showing how long it will take P.C. Richard's to install a functioning dishwasher.

    Sooooo I started renovating my living room & kitchen at the end of February 2023. So I started…read moreshopping for appliances. But I'm not finding anything that I liked that suited me. So I Bing (Like Google just different search engine) Appliance Stores with great service. And Gringer popped up. Tom gave me a tour of all that they had to offer including the downstairs. He also informed me that if I chose to use them that I could buy the appliances and they would hold onto them until I was ready for delivery. I liked this option. Seven months later, because wrong windows were ordered & kitchen floor needing to be replaced with new floor joists. I'm finally back at Gringer and Andrew helps me this time. Keep in mind both times I go to the store after work in my work clothes, so I'm kinda not smelling that great, diesel fuel & dirt on my sweatshirts. Not cute at all. But They treated me as if I had walked in with a Chanel suit. No judgement. And he does some thing that I think all customer service people should do. He asked me what I liked in the appliances that I was looking for what my style was, and what features that I needed. Then said he would put together some appliance packages. He asked me what I was OK with. Like if I needed to stay with the same brand or was it OK to mix and match and he said he would email me what he had for me & to go over them at my leisure, and get back to him. I appreciate a person who is a man or woman of their word, and he did exactly that. He gave me many options. He got back to me in a timely manner along with the options. He emailed me all of the spec sheets and everything had the cost on it. I went to appliance world in Huntington, Plessers in Babylon, Capuano in Farmingdale, several PC Richards and yes, even Lowe's and Home Depot. And online of course. So yes, I shopped around but from my first meeting with Tom and Andrew, I knew it was gonna come down to service which is very important when buying appliances . But not only was the service great the prices were outstanding and the fact that they checked out every rebate and discount for me was awesome. Finance options were also explained thoroughly. I didn't get delivery until February because this project is ridiculously long. So Gringer held my appliances for me until I was ready for delivery! My contractor took even longer to hook them up so I didn't know how great they were until this weekend. But I cannot recommend highly enough Gringer's exemplary customer service from beginning to end. And beautiful appliances to boot! 4-22-2024

To make matters worse, the fridge recently broke due to a faulty compressor. Had I known the truth, I never would have bought it. Feels like a huge case of misrepresentation. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend!

    On May 23rd, I entered into a transaction with Capuano Home Appliance for the purchase of a DCS BBQ…read morefor the agreed upon price of $3,999 plus tax. Upon receiving my DCS BBQ, the item was not fully operation with the rotisserie burner not working, so Fisher & Paykel (manufacturer) was called into fix the item. The repair required 4 visits and was finally completed after a span of 5+ weeks. During this time, the BBQ was disassembled and reassembled as the technician attempted to isolate the issue. Furthermore, during this time modification were made which resulted in poorer working conditions to the main burners. Prior to the 3rd visit we demanded a replacement BBQ, as we were dissatisfied with having to wait and felt the BBQ was a "Lemon", which could only be resolution by replacing the entire BBQ. Our demands were ignored and the company finally completed the repair on July 3rd, and offered to extend my warrantee by 1 year. Upon examining the BBQ, I noticed several washers were missing from the back panel and told them that there offer was not enough, as the BBQ was now refurbished. This complaint was ignored by Fisher & Paykel. At this time, I again reached out to Capuano and told them Fisher & Paykel was not treating us fairly, as we now had a refurbished BBQ which was not part of our agreement, nor was it reflected in the price paid. I explained if they refused to do a full replacement, then we should expect to receive a discount which is appropriate for a refurbished BBQ. The Salesman, attempted to convenience me this was an acceptable outcome, at this point the situation got worse as I felt insulted. When I attempted to reach out to the owner, he never returned my phone calls. Ultimately, Capuano did nothing to assist, although they were the ones that sold me the unit and the only ones with the power to right this wrong. Furthermore, this was not a $200 BBQ and Capuano was compensated nicely for selling such a luxury item, even though the agreement was not upheld. IMO, this was about buying power, that Capuano doesn't do enough business with these companies and has little power when it comes to representing the consumer. My biggest regret, not purchasing this BBQ thru PC Richards, as I know I would have been protected and would not have gone thru such an ordeal. All in all, stay away.....
