I would give them a zero if it would let me..... Do not use PC Richard's for any installation there sub contractors are the worst. I will never use PC Richard's again. they installed an air conditioner in my wall the contractor never looked outside before cutting the hole in my wall. the other guy outside unwrapping the air conditioner came running in to tell him to stop cause he was hitting my roofline, the contractor had to make another hole lower to install the air conditioner. to make matters worse PC Richard's had stood me up TWICE to fix it, I have a hole in my wall for a month now. I have called damage dept. five times nobody I mean nobody has called me back. I had to go to the store and talk with the manager there. but still nothing. he said I will get a refund for install NOTHING!!!!!! Stay away do yourself a favor! read more

We had to get a new washer/dryer combo for our house & Dan our sales rep was very knowledgeable & accommodating. He explained the features on several types of machines as well as the discounts & told us how to prepare for a flawless install. We ended up purchasing an LG tower combo on Saturday & it was delivered installed with haul away of old units by a professional install team today or Tuesday! I would say the value was great for both machines, install & haul-away! Manuel & Omar truck#3725 were very professional, helpful & totally answered all of our questions. A business that has been around for over 5 decades selling appliances. First thing to say is if you do have an issue within the first 30 days, you will have to arm wrestle with "customer service" reps & the sales dept reps. Who will hacky-sack you from service to sales, back & forth for hours on the phone. When you get tired of dealing with that & ask for a manager, supervisor anyone who could actually help. They will just keep passing the ball to someone who has no idea why you're calling or how long you've been on the phone. In fact it took me 2 months & 2 in person visits to the store to speak with an actual store manager. I'll say it again 2 MONTHS. I will summarize my experience which I will describe as a perpetuating nightmare, fueled by either complete incompetence or willful negligence. My initial purchase was on Oct. 23, 2024 It is now Jan. 5, 2025 I've had this company to my house 6 times for a dishwasher! 6 times! 1) First appliance did not work right out of the box. 2 weeks in, shuts off mid wash. 10/23/24 2) Service technician unplugged it & plugged it back in. That's all he could do. 11/16/24 3) Go to store to pick out new appliance to replace. 11/29/24 - sales rep puts in wrong item number. 4) Technician comes to house 12/6/24 -installs washer. - it is the wrong dishwasher. (I also had to run the drain/water hose to the sink myself as the technician said he did not know how to run a hose behind an 18" cabinet ‍) 5) Call Bayshore store - let them know I'm very upset with everything that's happening. - Aron who picks up the phone, says I have to speak with Jane who sold me the washer to Figure out what happened. - I STILL can not speak with a manager. There are multiple managers who work in the store, I could nor get a name or even a phone call back from one. 6) Go back to the store to figure out what happened. - My wife who is breast feeding our 5 month old, had to go in and demand to speak with a manager. - Marco gives us his card & says he has no idea about anything that happened. - Says his workers were "covering" for one another. That is why he or any other manager was not aware. 6) They come the following week install the right dishwasher. 12/13/24 It is now January 5th, 2025. This "brand new" dishwasher form a different brand, a higher quality make, is now HAVING THE SAME EXACT issue as the first washer. I would appreciate a phone call from anyone from P.C. Richard's who rectify this. I will be speaking with Corporate directly. I do not recommend this company for anything. It was complete mess every step of the way. He comes to my home and announces that he cannot fix my brand new appliances and to take it up with pc Richard's. Pc Richard's tells me to take it up with the repair company. These are brand new appliances?????? After 7 hours on the phone today I am done. Been doing this for months now. Pc Richard's you beat me out of thousands of dollars. You give a really bad name to "family run" companies. My family will spend more thousands of dollars for a working fridge and stove elsewhere. You won. Keep our money. The workers installing showed us a damage in the product. What has happened to PC Richards, they use to be Reliable & Trustworthy? In the Middle of Nov 19,2023 we purchased a 5 appliance GE Profile bundle for our kitchen remodel starting 1/2/24 from the Elwood store. We told our salesman Gregg we would need appliance end of Jan, first wk of Feb. He said come in a few weeks before to pay balance. So we came on Jan26 to pay balance and give him a delivery date of Feb 7,2 days before our granite being installed. He said they had 4 of the 5 appliances and the other was in transit and would be here by delivery date. 2 Days before our delivery date the GM of store Ken calls us and says our range isn't here yet, i said we need the range or they won't put our granite in. He said he will give us a loaner until it comes in as it should be within the next 10 days and if our contractors are gone he will install. I said ok. The morning of our delivery the Trucker calls at 7 am to tell us they are missing the one piece microwave/ oven which to us is the most important appl as it id to go in a big 8 Ft cabinet. When the delivery gets to us the trucker says he knows nothing about the micro/oven and then brings in a dishwasher that is smashed! At 10 am opening my fiancé and i are at the store to speak with Ken the GM who tells us the d/w will be replaced tomorrow the 1 pc micro/ oven it was a inventory problem and he promises us we will have the range & 1 piece combo micro/ oven within 10 days. And then he Boasts about our File being on his Desk for the last 21/2 weeks, trying to get the 2 appliances of our Bundle that they didn't have and Never Said a Word to us! Every few days i call Ken and he keeps telling me he is trying to reach his GE rep. Finally he tells me the GE Rep is doing him a favor and is getting a truck in for the GE warehouse and will give is our 2 appliances from there. We should have it before the end of Feb. So I call Ken on the 26 th and he looks it up on his computer and tells me the truck# disappeared on his computer and he doesn't know what happened.? He will have to call his GE rep. Calls me back to tell me the GE rep doesn't know what happened either. Then he tells me to stop calling him, he will call me. He never did. I called one more time and got Brian the manager i told him i wanted an upgrade for the whole bundle at no extra charge we have been thru enough nonsense. Brian said he said he didn't know if he could do that & he would have to get back to me. He didnt and we were convinced that all we heard for 6 weeks were lies and excuses ! So we purchased a 5 appliance Cafe bundle from another store ( which in whole was delivered 3 days later) and went to PC Richards spoke with the Brian the manager to cancel our order, return our money and pick up the partial unused order that they had delivered. I am nothing but displeased with the service PC Richard's has provided my family over the last 3 weeks. In the beginning of December 2023, my family purchased a new LG Thin Q refrigerator which retails for about 3,399.99. We purchased that refrigerator as a Christmas present for my mother; however, this only became the ride from hell following. Soon after agreeing to purchase the refrigerator, our salesperson (Donald 10024) tried to run my father's credit card (a PC Richard's credit card we use for purchases like this). Due to the card having been expired (minor issue) it was declined to which Donald (10024) started treating my father and mother as less than decent. Despite the poor attitude, my mother really wanted the fridge and proceeded with the purchase as they used all different form of payment which was immediately approved. This salesperson (Donald 10024) continued to treat my parents poorly and refused to listen to important information regarding the dimensions of my houses entrance (we live in a cape where the front entrance also meets the staircase upstairs). As a result, an ill equipped delivery crew was sent on Thursday and again proceeded to belittle me and my father about not notifying PC Richard's regarding the difficulty of delivering my fridge. We had to refuse delivery as they left us with no alternative. Fast forward to today, Tuesday 12/19/23, and they sent out their "premium squad". This team seemed nice; however, they had no respect for my house, furniture, or other objects out in the house. They installed the fridge successfully; however, that was at the expense of my brothers hand crafted wood project (on the counter and disregarded by the crew as they prepped the fridge for install) and the back of my front door (see pictures attached). I would recommend finding another store to do business with as this level of incompetence is unacceptable, and customer service at PC Richard's have continued to blame us for all mishaps in this process. It doesn't matter if you purchase the best fridge they have, they'll cause more damage to your home then you'll save using this store. read more

my ice maker failed for the 4th time on my kitchenaid refrigerator before Labor Day, 2021. I have a service contract with Pc Richard & son & after repeated phone calls I was told the soonest date they could give me was Oct.18th 2021! I explained numerous times that the fridge was located on fire island and that I close my home for the winter season on 9/30/21. as services(grocery store,etc ) stop Columbus Day. I then suggested they pro-rate my contract for the year I have left since they could not provide service in a timely matter. They refused stating they had spent over $1200. Trying to repair it. The refrigerator only cost $1200. I had been told by several of their technicians that if they were unable to repair an appliance they would refund the customer, which they have done in r mpast pa I cannot believe such horrendous customer service! what recourse do I have? read more

They shouldn't bother to sell Mattresses, I purchased one and had it delivered. What I received was nothing like what I tried in the store, it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. When I went back to the store after 3 days of no sleep, I was first told that the Mattresse was cold and needed to warm up, mind you it's the end of August. Then I had to exchange it for a different mattress, had a delivery set for yesterday, to be told they damaged the mattress in transit and it won't be delivered, so I wasted a day off work for nothing. To now have to take another day from work. Honestly if my old Mattresse wasn't thrown out, I would cancel the order and take my business somewhere else. read more

I am beyond upset at the level of inconvenience this store is causing me. Holiday today and I work at hospital 12 hour shift and tomorrow is supposed to be oppressively warm. I ordered AC unit to be picked up curbside. Since I am working I called the store to give consent for my husband and two babies to pick it up. I was told no. Manager Marcos could not accommodate my simple request because my credit card needed to be in sight. Giving verbal consent is no longer good enough. I love that I can get better-than-published prices sometimes, and that they'll sell anything you need off the floor, unhampered by the big-box policies that competitors apply. It's just the worst when you need something and even though it's SITTING RIGHT THERE, you can't have it because it's a demo and they have to send it back. Great, fair prices, and the salespeople are knowledgeable and are given the bargaining power to negotiate. The fact that the sales are commissionable and that their client base is often referral-generated means that you're treated fairly, your concerns are listened to, and they truly do want you to come back and see them. Plus, the team is required to attend product training and are treated like professionals (versus hourly lackeys), and given the information they need to truly "counsel" your sales and make sure you walk away with what you need ... even if you thought you wanted something else! Big ups also to the corporate management. They really do their best to keep tabs on the stores, listen to their employees about improvement, and are NOT open on Thanksgiving. read more

I went to P.C. Richard and son by accident. I knew I needed to change my washing machine long time ago but had no time for shopping. Just a couple of days ago one of their delivery truck was traveling in front of me in the freeway ,the advertising on the truck remained me of my need and I decided to go and buy it right away. I purchased a new weber grill from this location and was excited to hear that It would be delivered next day to my house. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and professional. After receiving the the grill the following day, i unwrapped it after the delivery guys had left and found that they shipped me the wrong model. After calling the store frustrated, I was greeted by another individual who worked with me to get the issue resolved. Instead of making me wait a few days for the replacement, the associate found the correct grill i had ordered at another store. The manager from this store delivered the correct grill to my house with his own personal vehicle and removed the incorrect one. It is very rare that you find a company willing to go out of their way to make an accident correct. The staff I dealt with took a very frustrating situation and immediately made it right.
