This is our go to Asian place in the weekends. We are sure to be served great food and drinks, so it's a safe bet always. The coconut cooler is our go to drink here. Also got the amazing strawberry margarita and peach whiskey. The waiter mixed the sauces for us on request. Earlier it used to be standard procedure, now you have to request it! In this visit, we had our all time favorite, Dynamite shrimp. It did not disappoint. Also got Kung Pao dragon roll( was not impressed). For mains, we got Kung pao shrimp( can't go wrong with this ); pepper chicken( all right), signature noodles. There was no room for dessert. The check came to $100. Went to dinner with the family. Had 5 star service from I believe her name was Madelyn. We were able to make a reservation and able to be seated right away when we came with a party of 7 which sometimes has been an issue with other restaurants. Everyone at our table praised not only the presentation, but also the quality of the food and how delicious everything was. We would come back anytime. Don't sleep on this restaurant. I wish I took more pictures but this is of the chocolate cake they brought out.We ordered this for our kids,we also had a vanilla ice cream to go with not pictured. One person ordered sushi that came out with a smoke presentation from under the lid which I believe they did since we asked for a desert they no longer had and wanted something cool for the kids to see. I made a reservation at PF Changs to celebrate my wife's birthday tonite and boy were we both disappointed! We arrived on time and were quickly seated at 6:30pm. It wasn't very crowded w only about 8-10 tables occupied. Once seated, we NEVER heard from anybody again. Not one person ever even stopped by the table to offer anything! No water, intro, drink order, apology... no human contact at all. Its not as if we were tucked into a hidden corner either... we were right out in front. Im not accepting the easy & often over-used Covid staffing excuse either. They seemed to have plenty of help and absolutely no reason SOMEONE couldn't have stopped by the table to acknowledge a new customer After waiting almost 30 minutes, we left. Figured if they dont care or even know we're there, then why should we even eat there! Worse part is, I even indicated on the reservation that it was my wife's Bday when it asked if it was a special occasion! All in all, it worked out great... My wife and I took another couple out to dinner a few weeks ago and were VERY DISAPPOINTED!! PF Chang's Chesterfield is NOT what it used to be when they first came to Chesterfield. The restaurant was dirty - floors not swept or mopped, tables not clean as you would expect and the food was NOT the quality it was in 2016. We were there on a Saturday night and it was approximately 2 hours when my husband was about to receive his main entree. The service was behind because so many customers order to go food, so the customers that are dining in side the restaurant also have to wait for many to go orders to be completed. I ordered curbside here. Which was difficult enough as no one would answer the phone and I ended up ordering online. Then, when I arrived at the time I was told my good would be ready, I pulled into one of the curbside slots and called the number as instructed in the side. A cheery hostess assures me my food will be right out. 15min pass...no one comes. I call again. She tells me "oh it will be right out" Another 10 minutes pass. I go in myself. My order is sitting there on the shelf. The staff who I finally get my meal from was rather snarky and rude. I usually am sympathetic to overworked staff, but don't lie to customers. P.F. Chang's is an outstanding restaurant that doesn't seem to get the love it deserves. They have an extensive menu that suits the Chinese afficianado, as well as the person that just wants chicken fried rice. Get the lettuce wraps as an appetizer. There's plenty to go around if you are with a group and it's a great way to start your meal. As for the entrees, there are so many options that it would be hard to recommend just one. read more

Consistently delicious but walk in wait time was 30-45 minutes on a Saturday at 3 pm. Literally half of the restaurant was empty because they didn't have staff. Recommend reservations but not sure why they would allow this issue. read more

So it's Mother's Day, it's understandable that restaurants are crowded. However, it's not ok to take to go orders, text you that it's ready and then go and wait for over an hour AFTER being texted it's ready. Over 20 people waiting for to go orders and being told the system is automated and they are running 90 minutes behind. It's a system that needs to be fixed. Especially have the courtesy of sending someone out to address the waiting crowd and give them real time estimates so they can decide if they want to wait 3 hours for dinners. Again, it's the misinformation being given and the bad management decision to hide instead of addressing the issue with the people waiting and letting them decide if they want to spend the time waiting. Very poor management and bad automated system. Better to turn it off and refuse to take orders than to take them, charge them and text that they are READY for pickup when they aren't and won't be for at least an additional 90 minutes. We were time tight in between games for my granddaughters field hockey tournament at sport port. We told manager Timothy and he got our five dishes for four of us out lickety-split and they were fabulous especially the Mongolian beef, orange chicken and pad Thai. Star was a sweetheart server and Monica at the front desk ran everything efficiently. Yeah, it's a national chain but there's nothing wrong with that as long as you don't feel you're getting a generic experience. Does the place seem like it could be an independent with a local owner? For Chang's, yes--in my opinion. I think they do "chain" better than most others. That could account for the variety in clientele: business people, singles, families, groups of seniors, special occasion celebrants, romantic couples. We had terrific lunch service and delightful meals--one a traditional Asian standard and the other a unique rice bowl. Definitely upscale. It was NYEve and we shouldn't judge just from that. However, they had separate seattings & the restaurant was only ~70% full. There wasn't a steady stream of diners coming in and out so things should have gone much better. The good.....still great ambience and it was their regular menu. Drinks were good and made it quickly. The appetizers were tasty and also came out with good timing. More on those later, stay tuned. Orange chicken was very good, probably the highlight of our order. The not so good...we had a large table of 10; we even joked about whose order would (or wouldn't) be right. Server came out and said there was no soup left. (Insert your Seinfeld joke here). Reorder apps and then Lo and behold soup appears. Not all of it...just some...half the ordered amount. The dumplings we had were tiny and the wrappers were very tough and chewy. Flavor was there, but didn't make up for the overall poor dish. Now, the downright not good at all.... 1) short rib fried rice was overpriced and needs revamping . There was so little protein in the dish it was virtually non existent. And we looked. 2) One couple ordered a very simple beef dish that didn't appear for a solid 15 minutes after all others had been served. That's never a good thing, we were fairly certain the server forgot to order it. 3) For 10 diners three medium bowls of rice needs to be increased. After all, the menu even specified that the dishes are meant to be shared, "family style". 4) where were the fortune cookies?!? Thankfully, we enjoyed our party being together or the night would have been an epic D- graded failure. Seems like the restaurant is trying to float along on its past reputation. read more

I must say, the dynamite sushi roll is awesome. For the main coarse I had the General Tao's shrimp and my wife had the Spicy Chicken. Both meals were great. So no complaints about the food to note. The service however was not good at all. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks. The appetizers made it to the table before our drinks. Our waiter was non existent except to take our order. He never came around to refill drinks or anything. We had to get the manager to bring us to-go boxes and our bill because we just couldn't sit and wait for our waiter any longer. Two times ago the spicy eggplant was unavailable. Tonight they told use they no longer offer vegeterian lettuce wraps; one of our favorites. Restaurant felt dirty, too. Ate at PF Chang's in Chesterfield last night. Not crowded on a Monday night. Hostess was not the friendliest. Sat us at a table. Asked for a booth. Said they were short staffed and it would take 10 minutes to get one ready. Why? There were plenty of options and what difference does it make which table our server comes to? Would have rated this visit a 1. But the night got better. Our server was Robert. He promptly moved us to a booth and took great care of us all evening. Usually P.F Changs are one of the best in service, but not at this location. Let's start with the food. I ordered shrimp wanton (wasn't warm), I ordered spring roll (the WORST), I ordered my favorite (Mongolian beef (wasn't crispy as I requested). Guys, even one of the fortune cookies were CHEWY, can you believe that!!! Hahahah. I cant believe that happened at the P.F Changs. NOW, lets talk about the manger. I asked the manger to turn down a disturbing music that was on (not quite music, not songs, it was just music with really high bass), the manger said I have no control on the music!! I told his just turn it down, my child is sleeping, he replied "I can't turn it down". I am really disappointed. read more

My wife and I love PF Chang's. However, we just attempted to eat there this evening. We were told at 5:30 pm that we could not be seated until 9 pm. The restaurant was nearly empty. We left the restaurant and checked Open Table which showed many openings including an opening at 5:45 pm. We went back in the restaurant to show that we had just made a reservation for 5:45. They acknowledged the reservation but said they would not be able to seat us any time soon. They would have to work us in. They went on to explain that "corporate" would not let them remove the open reservations. To turn away walk in customers when your dining room is EMPTY just because you're taking reservations from a completely different location from across town that obviously couldn't manage their own either. On the positive side, the food at this P.F. Chang's location was excellent. Just like other Chang's restaurants, if the quality, quantity and taste of the meal was the only criteria when dining in, the rating would be five stars. However, we did dine in, and the dining room experience rated only one star, at best. I had made a reservation for two people at 7:15pm on a Friday night. We were seated almost immediately, but our waitress passed by twice telling us that she'll be with us "in a few minutes." It was a full 25 minutes of waiting at our table before the waitress came to greet us, begin to take our order, or even bring us water. When we were seated, the restaurant looked to be about 60% full and several parties of two near us had been seated at booths or tables that would accommodate four or more people. We were seated at a two person table, which would have been fine except for the fact that the table between us was so wide (four feet from person to person) that we had to speak in loud voices just to hear each other. Additionally, music played at a modest volume throughout the entire dining experience, but the poor choice of music was such that all of the instrumentals had a pulsating and recurring thump-thump-thump- thump bass beat throughout that not only further impeded the ability of my date and I to hear each other, but gave each of us a somewhat of a headache by the end of our evening. After our food was served and while we were eating, a bus person came through the aisle sweeping up the floor with a broom and tall dust pan. Apparently, the annoyance of that while we were dining and the cleanliness of the work the bus person did was not good enough because our waitress came through the same aisle next to our table about 10 minutes later and again broom swept and used the tall dust pan. It was less than appetizing, and wholly inappropriate to do that while guests are in the midst of their dinner. By the end of the dining experience, my date and I agreed that we should have just ordered take out from this P.F. Chang's location and eaten at home. The Friday night dinner-date experience that we were looking for there fell far short of our expectations. read more

Kung Pao chicken tastes no Kung Pao chicken at all. Orange chicken breading is soggy and chicken was not marinated. Salt pepper shrimp tastes nowhere near like salt pepper. So sad.
