I'm writing this because what I experienced at this restaurant wasn't just disappointing -- it was unacceptable on every level. From the moment we sat down (the dining room was half empty around 1PM today), it was obvious that cleanliness and basic hospitality are not priorities in your establishment. Our table was completely sticky, the wine glasses were visibly filthy and sticky with visible fingerprints (disgusting), and the menu had dried sauce smeared inside. That alone should never happen in any restaurant that claims to care about its customers. If the dining room is this filthy, I can only imagine what the kitchen and food prep area are like. My local McDonald's is cleaner than your restaurant. The other real issue was the complete absence of service. We sat for 15 minutes without a single greeting, acknowledgment, or even eye contact from your staff. Meanwhile, two tables seated after us were greeted -- slowly, but at least they weren't ignored entirely. I attempted to flag down multiple servers, and every one of them deliberately avoided looking in our direction. The entire environment felt filthy, chaotic, and neglected, and the staff's indifference made it clear this wasn't an isolated oversight -- it's a systemic problem. After 15 minutes of being treated like we didn't exist, we walked out. On the way out I stopped at the front desk to ask for a manager but stood there for 5 minutes and nobody would even come up to greet us. This wasn't a bad day. This was a complete breakdown of cleanliness, professionalism, and basic respect for paying customers. I'm bringing this to your attention because no restaurant should operate this way, and I hope you take immediate action to address these serious issues. I just moved to the area and had been a regular at other PF Chang's locations around the US with none of the issues we experienced today - ever. You lost another customer today and I thought you should know why. Apologies for being so direct, but this is one of the most awful dining experiences I have ever had. My wife loves it here because you absolutely crush the gluten free options. If anyone wants gluten free Asian food, this is the spot. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is massive, really nice inside. The only thing I wish is that the portions were a little bigger. I usually have to order double meat to feel full, but it's the perfect amount for my wife. They didn't sing happy birthday, but they did bring out a big sparkler for us which was pretty cool. My wife and I stopped in the Southport location for lunch on the 26th of April and it was without a doubt one of the worst service or deals we ever experienced. We were promptly greeted and seated and then never saw someone approached our table for over 10 minutes. No one stopped to ask us if we even wanted a glass of water or take any type of order let alone acknowledge that we were seated and this was right next to the reception desk and the bar. Stopped by with my girlfriend for the first time tonight. I had not been to a PF Changs in over a decade and had wanted to go to Cheesecake Factory because I was more familiar with its menu. Girlfriend wanted PF Changs. We went to PF Changs. We were seated quickly and had Chaslyn waiting on our table. Ordered wine, sushi, and some appetizers. The sushi, lettuce wraps, and dumplings were fantastic and the wine was poured for us and put on ice while we ate. Chaslyn's care and energy tonight were excellent and are the reason we will be back for another date in the near future. Price was very reasonable so we gave a larger tip for the great service. Just had horrendous experience - never going back or ordering from them again. PF Chang's is over. I'm a cancer patient who's undergone 5 tough rounds of radiation. The whole time I promised myself a treat meal from Chang's as my reward for getting through it. Yesterday I placed an online order at noon for delivery at 3 pm. At 2:50 the driver was 9 minutes away. At 3:20 she was 18 minutes away and hadn't moved in 10 minutes. She didn't answer her phone or respond to text. I called the restaurant and was told they had no way to access delivery info or contact driver. I was told they would cancel the first order and send a new one ASAP. The people I spoke with were condescending and "just couldn't do much." After 3 more calls the second order finally got placed at 4:27 and arrived at 5. Aside from bad attitudes and me having lost any sense of joy, the food was LOUSY. The "crispy" green beans were soggy & greasy, and someone had just dumped the sauce over them. The northern ribs were dry and had no salt/pepper mix. The orange chicken was cold, gluey and missing the described garnishes. And it is all way over-priced for barely Panda Express quality. The menu is varied and the food is consistently good. To be an Asian restaurant, you'll find many selections that you won't find elsewhere.

Plenty of parking in a shared lot, plenty of tables. Arrived at 7pm and the place was jumping and loud and a lot of people having fun and enjoying themselves. We were a group of 7 and sat at a nice large corner table..for my bday dinner. Waitress was CeeCee and was great. Went above and beyond. Have not been to PF changs in a few years so shocked I did not see the seared ahi tuna or Duck on the menu and also the menu was very condensed which makes for less choices. But in the same sense it makes service faster as the cooks have less choices to have to prepare. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken Over all food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. read more

Remember the debacle I had at the P.F Chang by the Crabtree Mall. If you haven't read that mishap, go read that first before this. It'll provide context for what I'm about to say. First, I didn't want to come at all. My wife convinced me since it would be a waste of a perfectly good gift card. So I acquiesced. We decided to take a nice joyride to Durham but made sure we had in hand a reservation. Fortunately because we scheduled a Sunday dinner reservation the restaurant wasn't so full that they didn't have us wait for a longer time, unlike at the Crabtree Mall branch. We were seated promptly and the server got our order quickly. We ordered the wonton soup ( a solid B), and for the main entrees we ordered basic fried rice, salt and pepper prawns and Mongolian Beef, The salt and pepper prawns were lightly spiced and flavored. The meat was still tender and succulent. The flavor was okay, not spectacular so I give it a solid B as well. The the Mongolian Beef dish was a revelation! Meat was well seasoned, very tender and the taste was amazing. The sauce was so well made we wanted to lick the remnants off the plate. That just earned an A+ in my books. The ambiance felt a little weird. Lots of Chinese statues but what threw me off was a large poster of a Chinese woman wearing a cheongsam and wielding a Japanese Katana. Okay, mixing "Asian" objects even though those two cultures couldn't be more different. So I'm not sure if I'm okay about that. Feels a little insensitive and tone deaf. I'm docking a star from what was supposed to be a four star review. I swear this joint can't seem to catch a break. It's like the place is clueless on how to be consistent. P.S when ordering the salt and pepper prawns do not dip the prawns in the sauce that came with it. Went on Wednesday, June 11th, with two friends. Ordered Salt and Pepper Shrimp, and 2 Vegitarian Spring rolls for an appetizer. The rolls came out looking anemic. They were nearly all beige, not golden as they usually are. Tasted bland and were luke warm. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp came out looking NOTHING like it was supposed to. The shrimp were soggy- soaked in oil. Instead of the usual toppings of Chiles and savory toppings it had a green onion chopped up and thrown on it. Sent it back. Next time it came out, it looked as pitiful, and was sitting in a pool of oil. These shrimp are supposed to be fried properly and come to your table on the dry side. Whoever was cooking in the kitchen had no idea what to do or how to do it. I sent those back and ordered nothing else. Our waitress was very nice and charming and apologized. Surprisingly no manager ever appeared at our table to apologize or ask about the poor food. That further shows me that there is a huge decline in the food and the management. Tonight is my last time. I was ready to walk out when I saw the Health Sanitary rating of 96.5. My floor is 98 but I thought I'd give it a try. The quality of the food has seriously deteriorated. My last few excursions have been great disappointments, but I'm always willing to give a little grace. Tonight I ordered the Mongolian Beef dinner that included a side (1 pork egg roll). The beef was extremely dry. The egg roll was horrid. I took one bite and spat it out. It had a horrible gag-worthy taste to it. Like something old and dead. I trashed the egg roll. The meal was a total waste of $dollars. I would have been better off grabbing a frozen dinner at Harris Teeter. Dessert was the one saving grace. I tried the new key lime pie. My husband and I have been to this location a few times. Most of our experiences here have been great. However, our recent experience was nothing short of horrific. We met a good friend of ours at this PF Changs location and were expecting another wonder dining experience. During our visit on 5/4/25, we received extremely poor service from our server, Aaron. He started out with an enthusiastic greeting. Then things went downhill. Initially we weren't sure why. Throughout our dining experience, Aaron appeared very cold, distant, and dismissive. He seemed very bothered serving us. This behavior from him was not warranted. We were not rude customers at all. On the contrary, we showed nothing but respect. At the end of our dinner, he gave us our ticket and didn't thank us for dining with them, as most servers usually say. To top things off, my husband went immediately back inside the restaurant when he discovered he left his glasses case. They weren't there. He asked Aaron about it. Aaron said he would go back to see if anyone grabbed them. No luck of course. My husband then proceeded to ask the front staff and they didn't see them. We think Aaron might've helped himself to a pair of sunglasses. We speculated the reason for Aaron's sudden change in attitude was because he figured we were a same sex couple. He might've noticed our wedding rings. But we will never know the true reason why he was cold towards us. But this was our best guess. This has really changed my view of this PF Changs location. The kicker was getting rhe $26 Korean bulgogi and when I asked for medium, the server said that's how it usually comes. WHEN I TELL YOU THAT MEAT CANE OUT SO DEAD, I was astonished!!! So we told the server. 10-15 min later he brings us a new steak that, BELIEVE IT OR NOT is even more dead (*by dead I mean overcooked it's so chewy). At that point I'm over it. We kept eating cuz at this point we are hungry. Had the pot stickers - tasteless Japanese old fashioned - what a waste of money 2 stars because still edible But I'm still somehow blown by how unappealing / tasteless this meal was. Every time I place a delivery order for the banana spring rolls they never include the pineapple-coconut ice cream that goes with it. Dining in, I get the ice cream. Delivery, no ice cream. Additionally, the menu wrongfully includes hot tea underneath the unlimited refills beverage section. Service was okay, but everything else was not. Egg drop soup tasted like bland chicken noodle soup but with eggs not noodles. The crunchy wonton strips that came with the soup were very stale. What little food you did get was very mid. Orange chicken and Mongolian beef where? Just call every entree a rice dish because that's all you really get. Dessert definitely gives the vibe that it was from the freezer and heated up. Southpoint location was nearly empty as I walked in for the first time in ten years on a Thursday night. And I now know why. Restaurant was dirty! Trash and food laid on the floors in many areas. I'm not picky, but I am particular, and those who know, know. As a frequent restaurant diner and former server, I understand how crucial nuance is in creating a hospitable, relaxed, and, if the occasion warrants it, exciting experience. I find that PF Chang's delivers on all three. While the food and company are always central to the dining experience, the hosts, servers, and bussers are essential supporting players on the stage or screen of a successful meal. William, a server at the Southpoint PF Chang's, deserves at least a New York Drama Critics Circle or Golden Globe nomination, and, if not a Tony or Oscar, he should definitely be on the shortlist for next season. He is articulate, patient with a crowd and makes you feel at home, offering an elegant, polished, and sophisticated service with a delightful sense of humor and flair. He doesn't hover but is always attentive. Bravo! On the food and value side, my dinner companions and I raved about the chef's special--soup, appetizer, and entrée for just $19.99. The catch is that it must be purchased in pairs, so if you're dining alone, you can always enjoy one and take the rest home. Of course, The Changs isn't fine dining, yet it is a good value, consistent, and obviously, given its success, many people enjoy it very much. Too bad the entrees you can find in your favorite grocer's freezer aren't very good, but if I want frozen food, I eat Stouffer's Mac and Cheese. Overall, I find PF Chang's to be a great value with good portions, flavorful, consistent, and, if you have good service, an elevated experience. read more

Our server was very good and I like the interior. That is the only reason I am giving a 2. The food has become really awful. I have been a patron of P.F. Chang's since the early 2000s. Back then, they brought special sauces to your table to make for you. It was a special experience. The menu included healthy steamed options, and other good fish besides salmon, like sea bass. The ingredients were always fresh. Everything was delicious. Tonight I dined there with my family and the food was pretty awful. The salmon ($26) was clearly not fresh. It tasted and smelled like an omega 3 capsule had exploded. It was terrible. And the executive chef pushed back trying to say it was fresh. I buy frozen salmon at Costco that tastes MUCH better. And the plating was horrible--a few shrunken pieces of broccoli and mushroom. Menu says fresh greens. Anyhow, it was definitely not worth what was I believe a $26 plate. My chili garlic green beans (appetizer) still had the stems on the ends. No one bothered to de-stem the beans. It was unpleasant eating them. My daughter LOVED the steamed Buddha's feast, which is now gone. They no longer offer unfried tofu :-( SO bad! Really unhealthy. Also what happened to the Albarino and other interesting wines? It is so sad to see the chain go down so much. We loved it. There are new and better options locally for Asian food. I guess we will say goodbye to P.F.
