I thought it would be nice to have some hot and sour soup and a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc at PF Changs because it's really close to TJ Maxx where I planned to do some Christmas shopping. However, upon sitting down at the bar I was completely and totally ignored. Sat at the bar for several minutes at 1:45 pm on a Tuesday. No less than 5 servers passed by me and did not acknowledge that I was even there, a hostess also walked by without smiling or meeting my eyes at all. The bartender finally appeared, but she also did not greet me or even acknowledge my presence. There was only one other person at the bar, so being busy is no excuse. I was beginning to think that I was invisible, apparently the servers and bartenders here are not very well trained, and definitely are not paying attention. If I'm going to have a $50 lunch then I would like for somebody to at least greet me and say " I'll be right with you" I was there for about 10 minutes before I finally got up and left. The manager also was not paying attention, as I had to tell him why I was leaving. He was polite and apologetic, but I don't feel that that makes up for such a poorly trained and unfriendly staff. The food at this PF Changs is usually pretty good, if you can get someone to wait on you. I don't normally write negative reviews, but this is not the first time that this has happened at this particular PF Changs. I did go to the one on West End Avenue for lunch last week and got prompt and friendly service. read more

My husband and I chose to eat here so that we could have more of a "sit down" atmosphere over Pei Wei! Let's just say, we wish we had of went to Pei Wei. The service wasn't up to par. The food quality was horrible. Our waitress kept forgetting our order. It was ridiculous. My husband's dish was over saturated with the sauce and mine had very little. These review stars don't go low enough. We went here only cause we were traveling with a somewhat picky eater and this is a chain restaurant and should display some food consistencies. To start we were sat and waited 15-20 min to be offered a water and take a drink order. Should have left then. When we got our drinks 10 min later we ordered lettuce wraps and a bowl of egg drop soup. When they FINALLY arrived we only received two cups of soup. We explained we ordered a bowl. They came back in a bit and told us they were out of egg drop soup. WE then ordered hot and sour soup. They returned to tell us they were out of it also. We ordered the pan fried pork dumplings, which we never received. We attempted to order a few more lettuce leaves for the wraps, that never happened. At this point our waiter (if that is what you would call him) went into complete avoidance mode. On to dinner, 1 guy ordered the ramen noodles with shrimp topped with an egg and a spice mix. I figured I'd make it easy on our Cough/cough Waiter and tell him I'd have what he ordered. I received his order and and he got none of the things he ordered on his ramen. A waitress came by to ask if all was good, you can imagine what we told her. She exclaimed she would send the manager out to speak to us. Guess what never happened. I can't even imagine there was a manager on duty, cause while we were there we saw multiple people get up and leave while waiting on (wait for it, our waiter to even acknowledge they existed). In the end he brought us a bill for the soup we did not receive which also had the pork dumplings which we also did not receive. All in all this was the ALL TIME worst service I have ever received at any establishment I have ever set foot in. Went for dinner with family this evening, party of 4. We all ordered our entrees at the same time, but just before three of the entrees were served, Chris, our server, came to tell me that the sushi I had ordered was unavailable. I ordered another entree, but the other three entrees were served and eaten when he told me it would be a few more minutes because the kitchen was backed up. I told him to cancel the order and that we would not be paying for it. After this conversation, Chris disappeared. Our son in law had to go find him so we could pay our ticket. Seriously, if I knew a customer was unhappy, I would have done everything in my power to assure that they would make a return visit. So very disappointed. We will not visit again. read more

Visited Friday, November 22 started off really great sat at the bar had some appetizers and a drink time went on they got a little busier and the service got slower finally I asked the bartender I said I hope we're next he said yes he proceeded to wait on four more table checks that he was working on and totally didn't even look at us again finally the manager came over deducted the food from our bill when what we really wanted was dinner and dessert. Worst service and food I've ever had at a PF Changs, ever. As someone who eats at PF Changs 2+ times a month, this particular location was a huge disappointment. The food sucked. The waitress was terrible. Even saying "well I don't know what to tell you" when we had an issue with our food. On Tuesday morning I went into this establishment and sat at the bar by myself for lunch and a drink. My service by Katie was exquisite. She was so kind and made great conversation with me. She worked so hard behind that bar it made it fun for me just to watch her. I normally sit at the bar and have other bartenders that are not as entertaining or nice. However because of Katie I will continue to give them my service as long as she is my bartender. read more

This dining experiences here just keep getting worse. This will definitely be our last time here. It's freezing cold. I have watched 3 dishes get sent back from 3 dif tables. The portions keep getting smaller. The quality of the food has continued to decline. I have been here for almost an hour. Our main courses have finally arrived and shocker we are sending one of our dishes back. Also, let it be stated that I have not seen a manager make an appearance the entire time we have been here. I am a rarity I admit, a Chinese government certified Foreign Expert in China, so after a decade of living in many places in China colour my palate a tinge Mandarin. Well, this chain has little to do with Chinese cuisine, as in you shuo rou shin, or tomatoes and sugar, tomato and egg soup, yang Zhou mei fen, or even jaotzse/baotze. So both times I went there I experienced double culture shock, once for being in Mei Gou(America) again and more shock at what on earth cuisine this was, what country, what culture? Nothing really Chinese I ever saw at PF Chang's other than a snappy business name, "Chang", indeed a power name. Service was remarkably poor, worse than any restaurant among the hundreds I dined in in China. Call it 45 minutes of agony listening to western loud Muzak waiting for salty greasy imitations knock offs from Chinese menus. Food, if you gave it to a Chinese person in the inland he or she would laugh. I did like the imitation terra cotta warriors although no one there could tell me about the history of them or why they were an important archaeological discovery. I heartily recommend Xi Anh for a great tour of the real deal if you do get the chance . I asked for soup after the main dishes, as is the protocol in China, but they brought soup western style right up front with the first course, something that any Chinese would perhaps laugh at. Cuisine was unrecognizable as far as real Chinese goes. If you want more"real" Chinese food try small ma and pa places around, they need your business more than this effete, pretentious interpretation of Chinese dishes. read more

I get there one hour and thirty minutes early so I could make my movie. We order after twenty five minutes, (one sign it was slow) and we waited. Sure enough we wait one hour and fifteen minutes. Our food comes out FIVE MINUTES before the movie. This was after we talked to the waiter 20 minutes earlier about our food. The manager only gives us a "we are sorry". Didn't even reimburse us or any type of discount. I guess Carrabbas isn't look bad for my next movie night. I guess the food was good. I couldn't tell because I was eating too fast to enjoy it. My husband and I went last night and had happy hour and might I tell you it was amazing! To start off our server with trainer, Funke' and Jaidan, were professional and extremely accommodating. It was my 1st visit to PF Chang's and was slightly disappointed. 1st-We ordered the lettuce wraps and there was a dead fruitfly(gnat) on the plate. Let the waiter know of this and they replaced it and the manager took it off the bill and gave us a gift card. 2nd-We had put our dinner on a debt card(which was a large amount) and left the waiter a very nice cash tip. When I went to review my bank account found out that we were overcharged from what the actual balance of what the bill was. Thank Goodness I had my receipt, so when I called to speak with someone, they were able to pull up my order. I was told that the server accidentally added a tip to my bill (Thank Goodness it was only a small amount). The manager therefore was able to credit that amount to my account. The Manager was wonderful in regards to these 2 issues!! I gave the 3 stars due to the 2 incidents described should of never happened!! read more

Here is a rather amusing factoid. I had not been to PF Changs since we moved here 7 years ago. There are many options. But we wanted a quick dinner on Monday and it was only 3:45 PM. After inquiring online we found PF changs open and offering a light INEXPENSIVE menu for those eating before 6. WOW the food was quick and hot. The service was terrific and we got out of there with cocktails for 37.00. I TELL YOU people in the cool springs area. STOP IN FOR An early dinner. A few of us in looking forward to your Wonton Soup & appetizers primarily, after a movie, as we used to do regularly. The new menu looked great & the place looked clean, but rather empty for a Friday night. The soup arrived-totally changed! No cilantro, the shrimp were tiny, scarce & fishy, 2 pieces of chicken in there & worst of all the actual broth tasted like boiled water with NO flavoring? We told the waitress & she stated "yes, a bunch of customers have said that also." So we moved next to the dumplings. Both Shrimp & Pork. The shrimp was way too spicy. That was never the case in the past. The Pork dumplings were literally cold. We tried the egg rolls & they were so greasy we had to dab them w/ a napkin. We were going to order an entree but thought better of it, gave up & left. No a word from their manager or waitress to attempt to correct anything. I called the next day to ask for a Regional or Customer service dept. The 'regional' cannot be called. I was told you have to go through 'guest services' which turned out to be a farce. They transferred me 2x & had me on hold for over 15 minutes. I then called the ''corporate' number. They told me I had to go through 'guest services.' So I called them again & found out that that # was simply a 3rd. party operator who then transfers you back to, guess who, 'Guest Services.' They are supposed to call back as 'there just aren't many people in that department.' I give up. Poor food, no one to talk to, & they all seem to care less. Whoever runs this Company needs a lesson on customer care. What has happened to this Chain? I used to go all the time in many cities. I had a poor experience in Sarasota as well a few months ago. Too many other well run options to ever go back again. What a shame. Mark my words, these guys are living on their past reputation & can't successfully last with this kind of service & food quality. read more

I like this place. The manager and staff are so efficient. Their to- go orders are on point. I've been frequenting this establishment for over 5 years. Recently, I witnessed a shift in regional management. I think this regional manager might need to focus less on himself and more on customers. I was dismayed by this Regional Manager's pious attitude and his callousness when it came to getting his order completed, versus the customer. Not a good look. I have dined in at this location too many times to count and never had any complaints with service or my food while dining in. However, each time I've ordered take-out, my food has been lackluster. The first time I experienced lackluster take-out at this location, I thought it was a fluke. Mainly because of how great the food was each time I dined in. So, I gave them another try, several tries actually, with take-out. And each time, the food was drastically different in my opinion than when dining in. I always order the exact same thing whether dining in or carrying-out: chicken and shrimp fried rice. It's kind of hard to mess that up. While dining in, my rice was ofcourse hot with plenty of chicken and shrimp. However, for take-out, each time my rice was lukewarm (even somewhat cold a time or 2) with very little chicken and shrimp. The last instance was yesterday where I had very small, almost itty bitty pieces of chicken (and only a few of those) that were quite hard to chew. There were only a few pieces of shrimp with mostly just rice. The whole meal did not taste fresh at all, as if it had been made earlier or sitting out. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of it, especially for the price and the fact that I had not ever had experiences like that before while dining in. I will still visit Chang's at this location but for dine in only. I've had enough of their lackluster take-out. read more

Went there a couple times and I like their food. Their food is definitely not authentic but some of them are not bad. I don't order anything like broccoli chicken fried rice since it is totally made up Chinese American dish and they are never tasty in any way(sorry) . But their eggplant and fish dishes are pretty awesome. I tried their noodle once and it was average. Hot and sour soup was editable. Quite a large location, and usually very busy. Sometimes at Chinese places, you get bland food, or the quality of the chicken is covered up with breading. Here it was all very tasty! I highly recommend the lettuce chicken wraps. read more

I ate here twice today, Lunch in the restaurant and supper as carry out. Lunch was delicious. I had the crunchy mandarin salad with salmon. The salad has so many flavors and textures. It is great. The salmon was nicely seasoned and cooked to the right temperature. Service was very friendly with just the right amount of attention. That was the good news. The bad news was the carry out. I ordered shrimp Pad Thai but got chicken Pad Thai. The container was labeled shrimp, so it wasn't caught by the person who brought it out. The chicken was dried out and detracted from the dish. I also ordered the combo fried rice. There was one shrimp in the serving. The chicken was as bad as in the Pad Thai. I think they got the beef from a package of jerky picked up at a gas station on the way in. This got me to thinking about wrong orders on carry outs. It happens kind of often. I guess it doesn't happen in the restaurant because you have a server to check it. How bad is the kitchen staff that they can't cook what is ordered? Or do they hate customers and do this to getback at us for making them work? I wonder. And why is carry out food quality worse than when eating in? They must have piles of day old ingredients they use on carry outs because people won't drive back to return it. It isn't just this P F Chang's. The same thing happens at other restaurants too. Made an online reservation and was seated promptly. Seat was for four and they put two tables together near the bar. It was noisy but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. Our server was wonderful and the food arrived on time. We had three chicken and one veg entrees. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend street noodles with some chefs hot sauce. But make sure to get a reservation or you'll have to wait 30mins. read more

As we are traveling through we stopped here for a late dinner. When we walked in, there were 4 people at the bar and that was it. We sat down and ordered hot and sour soup and the lettuce wraps. Those came out rather quickly. Soup was ok. The lettuce wraps were decent, however I have had more chicken in a ham sandwich. For $10 I expected more than 1/10 of an ounce worth of chicken. We ordered entrees. I got the changs chicken. It was ok at best. You can tell the chicken was made and the sauce was poured on the plate after the fact. I also ordered the new brussel sprouts, honestly very tasty. My girlfriend ordered the combo Pad Thai. It came out, looked wrong, tasted wrong and was missing ingredients. So I asked our waiter why this was different, he went to the kitchen, came back and said "they changed the noodles and the recipe." Come to find out they just gave her the "street noodles" and lied about it. All in all that dish wash a poor attempt at anything edible. I understand we came in an hour before closing, and you can tell no shits were given by the kitchen. The best part was our server. Very fun and enjoyable. He was tipped accordingly. And finally we got the "Vietnamese Lava Cake" to go. Came back to our hotel room to hopefully salvage the dining experience. The ice cream was great. The cake tasted like a nasty fridge, literally. It tasted like it had been sitting in the walk-in cooler uncovered for a week. I should have listened to the other reviews and stayed clear. read more

We have been eating at PF Changs more often, enjoying their reward system. The reward system is a free entree after so many points. I LOVE getting the Sea Bass - either one on the menu - they are both excellent. We find the food and service to be very good and are motivated by the rewards. read more

UNBELIEVABLE! Visited on 1-2-15, approx. 8pm with my fiancé and 11 year old son. Waiter was very arrogant and when I went to the restroom he told my fiancé she was very beautiful, she showed him her ring and informed him she was engaged. His comment was ( well if you ever aren't engaged, let me know) The food was very good as usual. She told me not to leave him a tip as he was very inappropriate. I thought she was referring to his arrogance and left a tip. On the way home she told me what had happened, I called the manager, he said he would look into it. Monday I stopped in and talked to the same manager who remembered I had called on Friday. He said he took care of it "internally" He said it would not happen again and smiled. I informed him that I refuse to spend money in a place where that kind of thing happens. He then refused to give me a refund and told me to have a nice day. I gave him my card in hopes he may think about his arrogant response and attitude towards a paying and tipping customer and give me a call back. This did not happen...I called the corporate office a couple days later and got a very sympathetic ear and was insured it would be looked into. I was also assured I would receive a phone call the next day. No phone call and I have called 4 times since then. No one seems to be able to find my complaint. This used to be our favorite restaurant but service was pretty bad. We came early with kids and had no wait. Wasn't busy but took 20 min for a drink and over an hour for entrees. They forget to bring the rice and then forgot one of our drink orders. Apparently their new way to promote drinking was to keep it warm in the restaurant. It was warm throughout. Good food, horrible service. We dined in on May 10 for dinner. The hostess was so rude. No kind of greeting at all, not even a smile. Just asked how many and showed us to a small table that had chairs on one side and a shared booth on the other. We were there for a special occasion and the restaurant was about 25% full.. was about 7:30ish, so we asked politely if we could have one of the many open booths. She rolled her eyes and said they were all reserved, and we can sit on the "booth side" of the table, which made no sense since only 2 people could fit on that side. I knew that could not be true given that it was a weeknight and almost 8pm so I pointed to one of the smaller booths and said even that one was reserved? Another eye roll, then she said "I mean...." like we were being difficult by asking and said "fine, whatever". Clearly had a lot of attitude and was just all around rude. Once we sat our server was friendly, food came out quickly and was tasty. After that we didn't see her much and no refills on water, took forever to order dessert and get the check. I never did get my water refilled. The family next to us had to get the manager because they were sitting down so long and hadn't even been greeted. The manager was nice and was able to help them, but that shouldn't have been necessary, that serve only had 3 tables, one bring ours and by that point she wasn't even stopping by. No complaints on the food, but not worth coming in for the rude hostess and slow service. So many other options in cool springs now. read more
