I ate yesterday at P.F. Chang's because I was at Dolphin Mall and it had been over three years since I had eaten at a P.F. Chang's mostly because the last time I had a bad experience. I decided to come back and I did not regret it. First, I do love how it's decor and ambience. I love the statues which are replicas of the terra cotta army... the murals in the restaurant are nice and I absolutely love the lighting with Chinese style lanterns. We were served by Adriano who was a great server. Got our orders quickly, constantly checked on us. Made sure we always had our drinks full. My family and I ordered as our appetizer the dynamite shrimp. Shrimp was delicious... my family voraciously ate it... crunchy and very savory.... although it could have used a bit more heat for me to consider it dynamite. For drinks my brother got an angry orchard cider, my mother got a red sangria and I decided to try a Japanese beer called Hitachino Red Rice Ale... which is now my favorite Japanese beer. For my main course I got my old favorite of the Mongolian Beef. If you never had tried P.F. Chang's Mongolian Beef you need to have it. Each piece is tender and juicy....and the savory sauce is addicting. Normally the sides in P.F. Chang's is either white or brown rice.... never been a fan of theirs but it looks like now for an extra price you can have fried rice. I got it and I did not regret it... amazing fried rice. My mother had the crispy honey chicken which I tried and was really good. My brother got a new dish which was Korean Fried Chicken...he let me have a piece and omg! New favorite! Crunchy, perfectly seasoned, hot and spicy! Yum! For dessert we had the Vietnamese Chocolate Lava Cake which I could not take a picture of because my family jumped the gun and began to eat it... great dessert. The chocolate was amazing, the ice cream was super creamy....and it had hints of coffee taste. Great experience will come back! read more

I usually love P.F. Chang's. Their food is usually amazing. This location was not the exception. I had a gift card so I decided to go in today to spend it. Me and a partner went in at around lunch rush time and was told that a table for 2 would take about 15 minutes while the bar was open. Decided to go to the bar so we didn't have to wait although as we walked through we saw a half empty restaurant with four tops everywhere. They might have been expecting a rush that never came in. We approached the bar and saw let over plates in front of two open chairs. We waited for the bartender to have them cleared but she took a while. After a few minutes of not being acknowledged my friend decided to move them himself. We sat and after a while she approached us with menus and said she would take the plates. She took a while to take those and wipe the bar. She then took our drink order and food order. I ordered the blushing Geisha and he ordered a jack and coke. She got us the drinks and I was expecting to see a drink topped with some chai seeds as described on the menu. No chia seeds. My partner had to tell the bartender to get us some when she got a chance. She went to the back to find some and poured them into the drink. Food came out perfectly. The bussers were a little confused to what person had ordered what and had to keep asking the bartender. Our Mongolian potstickers were perfect. Very tasty dipping sauce. We also shared the crispy honey chicken which was perfect for two. Very tasty and a little spicy. Amazing food overall. read more

A lot may knock this review because it's a chain restaurant, but the fact is that this restaurant does Chinese food justice in Miami. Is it authentic? Of course not, but the basics that you will find at the other shitholes around town are ten times better here. As for plates I'd recommend: their rolls are pretty damn good(egg, spring, and even spicy tuna!). I love their wontons and the Vietnamese summer rolls when they have them(seasonal). Their lettuce wraps suck(sorry, had to mention and knock a star due to all of the inaccurate reviews, CF close by makes them better), but their Mongolian beef is easily the best you'll get outside of China(not authentic at all, but probably better IMO!). All in all, an easy 4 stars due to their great food, good service, and they have craft beers!! read more

I am not a chain kind of girl but I am a fan of PF Chang's. I have found the food to be consistent and I do have a couple of favorites (orange peel shrimp, yummy). On this day, we were a group who called ahead for seating on a Saturday. They were ready for us on arrival and as some of the party was late (parking issues), they were very patient, never making us feel like the table would be given away. When we were finally ready, they took us to a table comfortably large enough for the group. We ended up keeping it for over 3 hours and there was never a rush. Our server allowed us to set the pace and we had a great time. He even took some pics for us. I wish I remembered his name... he was very good. My food was just right and I believe everyone felt the same... as it disappeared quickly and we finally were quiet (for a few moments). I think I was the only one with a doggie bag and it was gone the next day. Delicious! As I eluded to above, the parking (mall lot) was terrible and I believe that was the delay for some of the group. I dined here today at Dolphin Mall after two fail attempts at Aventura & Sawgrass where the service and food was HORRIBLE. Smh However today the service along with the food was superb! Danny was our server and this young man was outstanding! What he said after speaking to me when I acknowledge to him how well he did with our service made my day, which I feel that others who serve people should strive to do. I quote Danny, he said I serve people how I want to be served. Now that speaks VOLUMES!!! Our food was hot, fresh and tasty. We will definitely be returning for sure. read more

I am not sure if it was a slow night it was a Friday but while the service was good and the waiter very attentive it was not worth the wait and the strange part is we had dishes we ve had before that have never been spicy that def had a kick. The wait was too long so we sat at the bar. Best decision ever. Service is consistently fast, attentive and we don't have to wait for our cocktails. We ordered the crab wontons, which were surprisingly disappointing. I can't figure out which herb was the culprit but it wasn't working. We ordered Mongolian beef (the best thing I've ever eaten) and a vegetable fried rice (it was huge) along with our freebie. Boy did we feast. 2 of us ate, and we still had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Geez...it tasted just as good as day 1. $40 got us an app, 2 entrees, a HUGE side and fed us for 4 meals. Although P F Changs has consistently good food... this time wasn't the case for all of us at the table. We had a birthday party and decided to come to P F Changs for dinner, it took for ever to get service at the table after waiting almost 40 minutes for a table and the waiter took our drinks order and also took them for ever to bring those. After we put our order for dinner and appetizers in they brought a wrong order... rice was under done, etc. It wasn't a good experience. Please have in mind that we have been going to a different P.F. Chang's location for years.... but this Dolphin Mall location I would strongly advise against based on this experience. read more

Avery, our server, was phenomenal! So professional, helpful and kind. No complaints at all. For our meal we had the wontons and the dumplings as appetizers. The dumplings were good but the wontons were the ones fried "lol" and that, my friends, makes anything even better. As main entrees we shared the combo version of the fried rice, the filet mignon (comes with potatoes,tomatoes and a bunch of lovely spices), and the orange shrimp. They were scrumptious. We thought we were going to take some leftover home but we could not. There were no leftovers. The brown rice I asked for took a bit longer than the rest of the food but no crazy wait; Avery brought it as soon as it was ready. Oh, and he also made up for it later. For dessert we had two orders of the fried banana with ice cream and "they hit the spot". Perfect end to our dinner. We left so full and palate-satisfied. I want to go back already. The only reason for the star I'm leaving out is the cleanliness of the bathroom area. Not good. I wish I was able to give a review about the food, unfortunately we didn't get that far. Mind you we are fasting for the month of Ramadan and it is Mother's Day. We had planned out our dinner meal in advance (we placed our order and paid at 2pm) and had set the table ready for our dinner to arrive shortly when I received an email less than an hour before it was supposed to arrive (an hour before we were supposed to break our fast) saying that our order has been cancelled. Not that the order was going to be delayed, or a specific option we selected was out, NOPE it was CANCELLED! So we attempted to call the restaurant to verify and no answer, absolutely none, it went to being on hold to the phone line giving a busy tone. I wanted to give one star because the service was terrible. I came to this location for lunch with out of town visitors. We were group of 6. When we sat down, the restaurant was almost empty around 12:20 pm. (What I am trying say is that the restaurant was not busy to serve the food on time. I will explain at the bottom.) We ordered appetizers and main dishes. When I ordered my dish the waiter asked me if I wanted white rice or fried rice and I said fried rice and other people ordered fried rice too. When they served the food, Mongolian beef looked a little bigger(but not much) than we thought and waiter told us because it was dinner portion. He never asked if we wanted dinner portion. There were lunch and dinner portion with different prices and we all assumed it would be lunch portion because it was lunch time. Five dishes served at the same time, but one dish Kongpao chicken did not come. It came by the time when 5 of us almost finished our meals. Later I found out that they not only charged everything dinner portion but they charged $3.00 each for lousy fried rice(it was not even cook thoroughly it tasted like raw rice). After I paid I wanted to talk to the manager and I explained it. He said if I don't specify lunch portion it is automatically dinner portion. I like it here. A fancier pei wei - or is pei wei a cheaper pf Chang's? Either way. Same company. Same outcome. Food was fresh and tasty. Sweet and sour chicken was a little boring but Mongolian beef (or chicken, or shrimp!) Is amazing. The only downside - your side is white or brown rice. Thats it. You cant even substitute for fried rice, they make you purchase an actual order of fried rice separately. Other than that, service was good and everything was tasty. read more

I was so disappointed to learn that happy hour no longer exists here. Most other neighboring restaurants have great drink and food specials but PF Changs has, in my opinion, made a grave mistake by dropping theirs. And by doing so, they've lost me as a customer during those hours. read more

Came in during the busy dinner rush and was able to sit at the bar right away. I am not too sure who my server was, it was loud, I don't hear well, but my receipt states Rick helped me out. If I ever make it back to Miami, I would definitely go back here because of Rick. While helping other customers, he was able to get my drink order. He felt bad for telling the couple next to me to try this wine but ended up not having that wine in stock and had to find a suitable replacement. He was quick on getting my order in and offering the couple next to me things to try and the reason why. Example, the Miso Salmon is better because it has a bite/better taste to it. My order of pan seared dumplings were too hot to eat and had to cool off a bit and then my Chang's Spicy Chicken was great. Rick kept the food coming out quickly and I kept on eating what he gave me. It has dropped quite a bit from the top but really just because I started to visit new places that moved up based on distance. Anyway, I decided to order from PFC's today for lunch after a long hiatus through Door Dash and it was a great disappointment. I ordered their famous Mongolian beef with white rice. The beef was so dry due to two contributing factors; it was greatly lacking in sauce and it was way over cooked. Some of the meat was actually charred. I can't say I will never be back as anyone is aloud an off day but it won't be any time soon sadly. read more

Had a really nice lunch with my family yesterday, we sat in the booth and our two waitresses were very sweet. This is my second time trying this restaurant since it is a little bit out of my way and there is another one close to my house but my family had a preference for this one, and i am not disappointed. Have been at PF a lot but in North Carolina. Every visit there always incredible but not here in Miami, FL. Worst decision ever heading there today for lunch. Lorena was the rudest waitress ever seen... never asked if we wanted water or anything, no knife, she never brought the plates so we started using the tiny ones (the one used for bread; example). We asked for sugar and she brought some expired small packages so I asked for new fresh ones but she came with more old ones. Lorena was always missing in action! I usually love coming here and enjoying the experience. My husband and I usually order the two for $50 during dinner hours. We are aware of the portions and tonight we were especially disappointed. We ordered two egg drops soup but they only brought out one and said they ran out we had to wait 20mins for the second. The lettuce wrap portions was off and waiter cleared it from our table without asking before we finished. Our entree's look like lunch size portions when we told the manager she insisted they were right but brought another one for us. Then our dessert was also a lunch portion. While extremely convenient to my hotel and being exhausted from traveling all day , I had little expectation of more than mediocre service but felt like I didn't have much option. I like the inside of the restaurant as there is a lot of open space and provides a relaxed atmosphere. They were able to accommodate a larger party and get everyone taken care of very well. Special note to Andres: Thank you for the excellent service for my party of 5 during dinner. PF Chang's Dolphin has plenty of very personable and attentive servers like Andres. PF Chang's has been family's favorite place to eat for years. We've visited locations in Brickell, Dolphin Mall, The Falls, and anywhere we travel. We always make sure to order the delicious fried crab wanton (6 pcs) appetizer. For our shared entree, we get the Mongolian chicken or shrimp, kung-pau shrimp, with the combo fried rice to share. This is typically good for up to 4 people unless, lightly eating. We've tried a couple of other things but keep coming back to our favorites! read more

I'm used to visiting this restaurant for over 10 yrs and I have always enjoyed it, the service, the food and ambiance. I'm fully aware that Restaurants have been facing a hard time with COVID being understaff and having to close for a while but I think now they need to prove to people that they maintain there high standards. I placed an order on Saturday the 8th it was supposed to be ready at 12:19, I arrived at 12:10 called and told the lady that I was there waiting so she can take order to me when ready. At 12:30 no one had come out, I waited 5 more minutes and then went in, I asked the girl can you see if my order is ready and she replied ohh yes it's here I didn't know I had to take to you. Ok no worries I went to the house I was having lunch at and I always brag about how good the food here is, we'll no one ate except the kids I ended up throwing everything out, the rice seemed old, the honey chicken very soggy with no taste, I was very disappointed and ended up having to order from somewhere else.
