I've come a few times to this location with family and friends while visiting Miami. On every occasions we had good food and service. The last visit we repeated a previous choice of dishes. Hand Folded Crab Wonton as appetizer. Walnut Shrimp with Melon, Family Platter of Mongolian Beef, Combo Fried Rice The Wonton are delicate, flower like contractions filled with a light cream cheese crab filling. Nice Generous serving of Shrimp on a Creamy Aioli Sauce with candied Walnuts and tiny Honeydew Melon balls. The melon was over ripe. Mongolian Beef platter was good to share. Tender morsels of Beef in a sweet sauce with Green Onions.. Of all the dishes the Fried Rice is not the best. No one knows how to make a simple fried rice in this country. Nothing to do with authentic dish. It can be easily skipped. Lava Cake, not so small portion. Was nice to share to cap off dinner. They were out of my choice beer, instead I got Tiger Beer from Singapore, a pale lager beer with a full-bodied taste. Refreshing. Pellegrini water rounded off the drinks. P.F. Chang's used to be one of my family's favorite restaurants where they serve good quality Americanized Chinese food. Over the years we have seen some decline in quality but never disappointed until now. This past Wednesday my sister in law invited us for some dinner at the Doral location inside the Dolphin Mall complex. The interior of restaurant chain is uniformed across all location a modern oriental vibe. So we ordered several items such as the pork egg roll, steamed shrimp dumplings, fried crab wontons, and Mongolian beef with rice. The egg rolls and crab wontons were very greasy and very bland fillings. My hope was the shrimp dumpling which was always one of my favorite items and was shocked how bad it was. The inside of dumplings were very watery and you only tasted bit of the shrimps. The best part of the entry was the Mongolian beef super tasty, but portions felt less compared to before. For dessert we ordered the toffee cake which was a little dry and needed more vanilla sauce. The waitress was friendly but there was some delay with orders. As I mentioned above PF Changs was one of my favorite chains growing up and now to see it just a shell of its former self leaves me devastated. read more

The coconut Mikita was truly creamy coco deliciousness. A must try off their specialty drinks. We ordered the sampler appetizer but I was really not into their fishy taste crab Rangoons the edemame were great and so were the fried gyoza. Not a fan of veggies so the spring rolls weren't a top choice. This probably wasn't the appetizer for us. We ended up ordering fried green beans that came with a side of spicy dipping sauce that brought that appetizer together. I'm definitely behind that!! They're chicken was crunchy and delicious. My fried rice was not very good. But my girlfriends was delicious. Best food and drink combination ever. The vodka tonic was literally a glass nearly to the rim with vodka and a bottled tonic water on the side. This Doral location is EVERYTHING. THE Chang's Spicy Chicken.... Omg. So good. Make sure to substitute the rice for the low mien. The food and drinks were so great that it completely overshadowed the nonchalant disinterested waitress we had. I forget her name, but she was a beautiful black woman with green eyes and a petite frame. She was neither rude nor polite. She wasn't helpful nor did she abandon us. She simply seemed disinterested in our table. At one point she briskly walked by our table while simultaneously asking if everything was alright, when my guest said "no" she continued walking without a second thought; leaving us dumbfounded. I like street food, so I usually get the chicken lettuce wrap. This dish is always good, fresh lettuce leaves and a spicy crunchy chicken dish to go with it. Eat with your fingers. We had a terrible experience and I may not be going back. We arrived for an early dinner and the place was almost completely empty; only 3 other tables were being serviced. We sat and waited for quite a while before our server finally showed up. We ordered a couple of cocktails, dumplings and edamame for appetizers, wonton soup and egg drop soup, and Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli for our main entrees. Everything took forever to be served. The wonton soup was cold and the egg drop soup looked and tasted more like vegetable soup. The entrees no longer tasted fresh because they were sitting under the heat lamps for too long. The appetizers finally arrived after we were almost done with our entrees. Our server disappeared after he took our order and we didn't see him again. The manager didn't have the decency nor courage to come to our table and offer any explanation for the awful service. There was broken glass on the floor and nobody seemed to care. Another couple sitting nearby left after waiting a long time for service; when they asked for assistance, the server shouted across the dining room that she was "too busy taking care of another customer!". The restaurant left off the white rice that comes with my chicken and broccoli meal, causing me to have to drive back to them to correct my order. When I finally got back to the hotel and tried the food, it was AWFUL. Bland, the rice was cold and tasted like it had been sitting all day. I've had better food at Panda Express. It's Sunday at 8pm and the service is so on point! Decided to pick up some food on the way home from work (And treat myself to a nice whiskey)- the bartender quickly cleared when I came to sit down. The bartender is working at too speed and suggested a Japanese old fashioned and it hit the spot. A second bartender was quick to retake my to-go order and put it in right away. This is a nice place but a bit small. Went here tonight for my birthday and boy was it a long wait for mostly everything, not the best experience. We ordered our drinks and entrees right away. The tea came to our table but it wasn't the one we ordered, instead of green tea they brought peach tea. It was still tasty so we let it be. We must have waited over one hour for our entrees to arrive. We had to ask our server what was going on, he said they weren't prepared for the crowd. The sweet and sour chicken and mongolian beef were cooked well but not steaming hot, and the rice was cold. Upon finishing our meals we told the server that we would take the rest home, he just dropped off containers and a bag, for us to fill up. However, other servers were packaging the leftovers into boxes in front of their customers. Why didn't he do that for us? I was getting a dessert and when I asked for a menu, he said he already ordered a free dessert for me (the banana one). He said it was coming right up, but it didn't arrive until 30 minutes later. I think I am going to boycott P.F. Chang's, or at the very least, boycott their Korean chicken stir fry. Last Sunday, my boyfriend and I met up with a girlfriend of mine at this restaurant. The service was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. We ended up ordering an appetizer while we waited for my girlfriend. We munched on some steamed pork dumplings, had some conversation, and generally just enjoyed ourselves. When my girlfriend arrived, we all opted to order different dishes, so we could sample everyone else's food. It seems my boyfriend and my girlfriend have similar taste in food as they both went on about how they always get the Mongolian beef. To compromise, my girlfriend ordered that, while my boyfriend chose to order some crispy chicken meal. Both had white rice. Meanwhile, I decided to be different and order a supposedly spicy meal called the Korean chicken stir fry along with some brown rice. Given that my girlfriend hates spicy food, she saved herself the trouble of trying it. Boyfriend did sample some though. I meanwhile tried everyone else's meal and found the Mongolian beef dry and the crispy chicken lacking in crunch, but it was okay. I mean, it's a chain restaurant. It isn't exactly like I was expecting a blow me out of the water experience. What I did not expect, though, was the bout of nausea I had the following day. When I had had the Korean chicken stir fry Sunday night, I did not feel the spice, the kick, the seasoning, whatever it is that this dish had that made it earn the chili pepper. I did feel it the next morning as I sat on the floor, holding myself up to throw it up. I rarely ever get this way after food, especially the next day, but it was something that I could just not stop. I felt awful. I essentially threw up my entire meal. I was wondering if it was just me, but when I spoke to my boyfriend, he told me he had suffered some heartburn. My girlfriend is the only one who got off scot-free, so the only assumption I can make is that it was that Korean chicken stir fry. To add insult to injury, I had leftovers of this dish. The next day, I smelled them and let's just say that it was a miracle that I did not vomit. My roommate who can eat anything concurred how terrible it was, even asking me how I ate it the previous night. I don't think I have to say it, but I regret eating at P.F. Chang's, and if I somehow end up going again, I am going to go for something completely bland like chicken fried rice. Simply unacceptable; what thrash of a so-called spicy dish. read more

The food was good but the host/managers in the front were terrible at scheduling. We had reservations for 8:45 pm and didn't get seated until 9:20 pm. We were waiting for more than 40 minutes. On top of that the manager treated me like a child that didn't want to sit down. I recommend they learn how to better run the logistics or close reservations if they cant honor them. Poor service, cold dry food, and mold on the fruit. We ordered P.F. Chang's at the Dolphin Mall location for lunch to take advantage of the lunch bowls. We often eat at the Brickell Location and have good experience there, so we know what we like and how it is usually presented. We ordered a Mongolian Beef Bowl, a Crispy Honey Chicken Bowl, a Ginger Chicken with Broccoli Bowl, and a chocolate cake for curbside pickup. We did curbside because I had my two children with me, one of who is small and rides in a car seat. I like to be fair in my reviews so I will give credit for the good before going on to the unfortunately very very bad. The Positives -The P.F. Chang's app is easy to use. -The Ginger Chicken with Broccoli Bowl was tasty and a good sized portion. -We received an over abundance of fortune cookies -The order was evidently ready very close to the expected time. You will see why I say "evidently" below -the cake is a very comfortably shareable portion And delicious The Very Bad -With an estimated pick up time of 215, I was happy to receive a text at 218 to let me know the order was ready. Three minutes is a more than acceptable tolerance for order readiness and I happened to be arriving, so I responded that I had arrived about a minute later at 219. I was the only car at the time -Then we waited an additional eight minutes with no word, at which point I called the restaurant. -After Two minutes listening to their hold music, I began the process of unbuckling children. Ten minutes had now passed since I'd checked in and I hadn't seen an employee to this point. I kept the phone connected and on speaker so I could hear it and walked into the location -Walking into the restaurant, I was surprised to see that it was not particularly busy. Also there was no one at the front desk. About 30 seconds later somebody noticed me and walked up, at which point (phone still playing hold music) I commented that I had checked in for curbside ten minutes prior and no one had said anything to me, letting them hear that I was on hold. They apologized with nothing in the way of an explanation and handed me the food. I commented that it was inconvenient to have to come down considering I had my kids and they apologized again. -I checked the order before I left, and the food was somewhat haphazardly thrown in the bag. Fortunately my dish, the one with the least sauce on it, was the one that was completely sideways because had it been one of the other dishes sauce would've been all over the bag. But I repositioned everything and headed home -My daughter's Crispy Honey Chicken Bowl SHOULD have come with extra fruit as we ordered it as an additional side. We did not receive the extra fruit. -The fruit we DID receive had MOLD on the blueberries. And they were the blueberries on top, so I can't see how they could've missed it when they were putting it in the container. Nevertheless the fruit went uneaten -The Crispy Honey Chicken Bowl had little to no chicken. Two of the chunks were pure breading and one was mostly so with huge pockets of nothing. Again, the remainder was inedible. -My Mongolian Beef Bowl was cold (somehow a completely different temperature than the rest of the food) and surprisingly dry. It was edible but not at all enjoyable. Very salty, very chewy (not jerky but close) -A sidenote, my three year old son fell in the parking lot getting back into the car, which I can't really blame on P.F. Chang's directly, but I will comment that if I didn't have to get out of the car in the first place I never would've happened. This was why I ordered curbside to begin with P.F. Chang's (Brickell and Falls, anyway) has always been a solid choice for us, particularly after they revamped their menu a few years back. The food at those locations has always been well prepared and fresh, whether for dine in or pickup. This was a surprisingly disappointing outing and certainly lessens the possibility that we'll return anytime soon. The dishes we ordered were not complicated ones and there should have been no issue providing an appropriate plate in a timely manner. There is NO EXCUSE for moldy fruit in a restaurant plate but especially In an easily visible dish. It absolutely feels like wasted money and I regret the purchase. There are so many other options in Doral and Sweetwater that I can't see myself returning anytime soon. Very very disappointing experience. read more

In Miami for weekend. Needed something to eat. Was in the mall. We decided to stop in and try this place. Our waiter David was very attentive and helpful. Had the hot and sour soup. Blahhhh. Didn't like it AT ALL. Too thick. Not very flavorful. Asked waiter to take it back. And he did and took it off the bill. We ordered a number of plates. The fried rice with shrimp was very delicious. The crispy avocado rolls also very tasty. The spicy tuna rolls not very appealing to the eye and didn't taste that good either. Another item removed from the bill. And lastly the fried calamari with veggies took so long to come out that it was also removed from our bill but it was tasty!! Overall my experience here wasn't as good as I had hoped it to be. The employees were very friendly. Ordered the Chicken Lo Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, Salt & Pepper Calamari, Ma Po Tofu. The Salt & Pepper Calamari was tasty but unfortunately by the time we were ready to eat this dish it got soggy. I'm sure it's nice and crisp if eaten at the restaurant. I highly suggest not ordering this dish to go. The other dishes were good. Flavorful and not overly oily. The Ma Po Tofu did not look or taste like the kind I'm used to but it was still tasty. The tofu pieces were crisp and served with lots of steamed broccoli. The sauce was sweet instead of spicy. I wouldn't call this authentic Chinese food but for an American Chinese restaurant it's pretty good. read more

Came to this place with some friends to grab a bite on Sunday evening... had to wait for 30 min for a table even though there were tables available... went to the bar and service was quite good... above average there!!! When we finally sat, service was below average!! We ordered several dishes from chicken, shrimp and meat... the Mongolian beef, avoid... burnt to the point of no flavor... the shrimp with melon was ok, a notch too sweet but ok, the miso sea bass was quite good, maybe the best that day... white rice is also good!!! Chicken with orange peel is ok, but a little too overcooked and dry.. the place has good ambiance and is clean... restrooms are not clean at all... those can use some cleaning!!! We are happy this place is back to full speed, but what really was a pleasant surprise is the addition of two "specials": the Peking Duck and the Lobster Dumplings. The Duck serves two, and if you add the Lobster Dumplings as an appetizer you have a very nice meal for a couple. The food was good but the service was awful! Reservation was at 4 and didn't leave til 7:30! Everything took forever to come out! The wonton soup was cold. Those cooking are not trying. I understand how a mixup can happen between chicken lettuce wrap and veggie lettuce wrap, but it is still unfortunate when you get home and the order is wrong. The reason I'm writing a review to advise you to CHECK your food pickup before leaving.
