It's tradition to come here for lunch after going to the orchid show at the Chicago Botanic Garden and it happened to be Valentine's Day, so win/win. I love the interiors here and it's extra pretty with the touches for Lunar New Year. We did a couple of appetizers, fried rice and cocktails and everything was delicious, although I really prefer the way they prepared and presented the pork dumplings the original way - the sauce is way too spicy now and since we ordered the sauce on the side, the dumplings all stuck to the serving dish. Our server was Krissy who we've had before and she's always friendly and did a great job recommending the Iwai Tiger cocktail which was delicious.

The food at PG Chang's is always consistently delicious! Sadly, the restaurant seems huge compared to the smaller crowds from years past. Although Chang's is a part of a chain, the food never disappoints. We did notice a few nice touches have been discontinued, such as the 3 sauces previously served with dumplings and potstickers which allowed you to customize your dipping sauce and loose leaf tea (now tea bags). All in all, the tasty stir fry veggies, fried rice, steamed shrimp dumplings, lettuce wraps and soup, keep us coming back!

Had not been in a few years , so today it was our stop. Place was nice , greated right away and seated. Waiter arrived took our drink order , and then came back for food order, we had wonton soup, very good flavor! Crispy honey chicken , white rice & beef fried rice! Our waiter Miguel was amazing he had refills and togo boxes and bags and even a red velvet dessert for my daughter! Very very very nice waiter!

I ordered takeout from P.F. Chang's and tried the Mongolian Beef dinner special and the Chang's Spicy Chicken dinner special, both of which came with hot and sour soup. The food quality was great overall. The Mongolian beef was flavorful and tender, but the Chang's spicy chicken was definitely my favorite with a perfect balance of heat and crispiness. You can also ask for extra sauce on either entree if you like your food with extra gravy like I do! The hot and sour soup was excellent and the portion was surprisingly large, especially for a to go order. It felt like a full restaurant serving rather than a small takeout container. Overall, a really solid takeout experience with generous portions, quality food, and very friendly staff. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice too in case you prefer dining in! If you like sauces or silverware with your food, make sure to mention that because my food didn't come up with any soy sauce, fortune cookies, etc.

We made reservations for 8 on Mother's Day at 5:30pm. The place was rather busy but we were seated right away. It was nice that they had our table ready. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I was impressed with the service she gave us on such a busy occasion. The place was a little loud and the music seemed to be club-type songs. Other than that, the place seemed to have a trendy Asian decor. The menu seemed to have been expanded since the last time I dined here. I liked that there were many vegetarian options which were also vegan. The problem I have with the food is that many dishes we order did not say anything about being spicy on the menu, but were in fact spicy. One dish we had to return because it had a bite to it and my mom just couldn't take it.

P.F. Chang's never disappoints and this time was no exception. Our table of four enjoyed the options for group dining. They also had a great lunch deal going on. We chose 4 entrees, soup, and an appetizer. Yum! Everything was piping hot and delicious. The teriyaki chicken dish was new and a standout. Until this day, I had never had tofu fried rice, now it's my new favorite! I could have stopped after the delicious egg drop soup. Everything was so good and service was attentive. The manager even stopped by our table, which is a very nice touch It happened to be Valentine's Day but we were just looking for a place to grab a late lunch. With that said, the decor was festive and they had a really cute balloon arch and festive photo back drop for photos.

Been coming back to this location many times for our favorite Mongolian Beef dish but today our service was exceptional. Miguel our server was very attentive, friendly and provided us with great service .

We had an enjoyable family lunch today. We were seated comfortably in a large booth, the restaurant was pleasantly empty, and we had a clear view out to the lovely spring weather. We split a pork dumpling appetizer (yum), then shared Singapore noodles, Chang's spicy chicken (a little spicy), honey shrimp on a bed of rice noodles and crispy chili garlic green beans. I thought the green beans were a little too salty. Otherwise, this was a nice assortment of flavors, delivered hot from the kitchen, and generous portions for our party of five. They refilled my soda without my having to ask, checked on us several times throughout our lunch, cleared empty dishes promptly and brought us the check/checked us out in a timely manner. We have had several good experiences through dining here and having delivery, and I'm sure we will eat again here soon.

Ordering was a breeze and the guys were always open to a conversation or giving suggestions. The restaurant was clean and the meal was always tasty. Just a note but the further away you move from any major city the fewer and harder it is to find great Asian food. The suburb is lucky to have them. The pandemic brought new staffing. Some were pleasant with customers though one lady, a supervisor had the wrong ideas of what customer service and proper etiquette is. Just the basics of my final visit. I took my family for lunch. We ordered lunch specials and a couple extra must-try plates. Two specials hit the table and the third was left waiting for her meal. Unbeknownst to us in the moment, her food was handed to a single patron there for his lunch. The place was filling up with a lunch rush but not so many that had complicated orders. Many were ordering similar lunch specials. Kung pao lunch special was popular. When her order finally arrived the supervisor realized she had given the wrong plate to the customer sitting some tables behind us. Mind you ten minutes had already passed. She quickly went over to him and asked what he had ordered. She then took the plate he was eating from and handed him the fresh plate. He was still holding a half eaten egg roll in his hand. Then she brought the quarter eaten plate and placed it in front of my mother. Before she could leave I stopped her and asked her what she was doing. She simply stated that was her lunch order. I told her she handed my mother someone else's food that they were eating and I watched the whole thing. Why didn't you take that to the back and make a completely new plate of food?! I paid the bill and got the F**k out. That's gross. Also, you gave the other patron new food but cannot do the same for our table?? This place is dead to me. If she could do that, it beckons the question of what else is happening behind the scenes.

Like the texture to the spring rolls and the dipping sauce. Would have liked for the rolls to have tofu in them but they were still very good. Takeout was usually ready in just 10 minutes, and they were almost always open, even on major holidays (though it's still a good idea to call ahead to confirm). We dined in once before the pandemic, but since that was more than seven years ago, it wouldn't be fair to review that experience now. We got takeout from Tong's Hunan on this July 4th, mostly because they were open until 8:00 pm even on this holiday.  We ordered a Braised Seafood Casserole ($20.95) and a House Special Pan-fried Noodles ($15.95), both were our go-to dishes.  Another go-to dish that we didn't order this time was Happy Family ($20.95) a combination of beef, shrimp, scallop, chicken and Chinese vegetables stir-fried in their house special brown sauce.  Entrees come with white rice. Tong's Hunan serves what I'd call old-school Chinese-American food. Many dishes rely heavily on brown sauce, which tends to overwhelm the natural flavors of the ingredients. While the food is still decent, many of the dishes end up tasting more alike than different. The pan-fried noodles were crunchy as they should be, but they were very greasy.  Even with the paper liner that they put underneath the noodles to absorb some of the oil, it's still very oily. On the positive side, the meats in both dishes were tender and the shrimp fresh and large.  However, the quality is more like a decent Chinese takeout eatery that's 3.5 stars.  I do like their consistency and convenience. The food is reliably decent, and takeout is usually ready in about 10 minutes. This visit took about 20 minutes, which was understandable given the holiday rush. Being open on major holidays is definitely a big plus.  So, 3.5 rounding up to 4 stars.

Both the service and quality of food has gone way down from what they were famous for. The waitress spilled my tea, also dipped her finger in my tea, had no apology or offer to exchange it with a fresh cup. I had to ask her for a fresh cup of tea. Then the other server that brought our entrees spilled my husbands tea and again no offering to getting a fresh cup. We had to ask AGAIN for a fresh cup! While the portions were generous, the quality of all the food has gone way down. The special family recipe of thier shrimp dish Gan Pong is nothing but fried shrimp with dried chili peppers and no flavor. The Hunan spicy beef and chicken appeared to be all globs and sticky because of excessive and over use of corn starch used during the cooking process. This dish didn't have any unique flavor that one would expect. Previously we had experienced a difference in the food, taste and quality and that's what kept us returning. Sadly, after this experience I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or come back! I'd rather stick with Yu's Mandarin than drive to this place! Quality always wins over quantity in my books!
