Just wanted to let you know about the great care and service that I received on October 1, 2021. I told the waiter that I had a seafood and peanut allergy, he said "okay I will be right back, I need to alert the manager". It took a couple minutes, but the manager came over with a different menu. It was a specific menu for the 2 allergies that I have. I was SO impressed with the degree of safety and care for their customers. I ordered from the menu and the food was absolutely delicious! Ok so I have i've been to this restaurant a number of times. What I will begin with saying is that while I definitely do not feel that the food quality has ever impressed me at this particular restaurant, and it is lower than the quality from other PF Chang chains. However, I do tend to love this chain in general, and this is the only one that's around here so I've been here a number of times. Ever since the pandemic, they have very long wait times and multiple empty tables while stating that they can't seat us for a significant portion of time. We've been asked to wait up to 45 minutes with no one else waiting and numerous empty tables. The straw that broke the camels back was most recently on a Thursday night. I was meeting my wife at the restaurant, and she went in to get a table for us and our three children. She was told unequivocally, at 8 PM, that they were not seating any more walking guests because they had numerous six and eight person tables and the staff would be there "until past closing already". However, there were numerous empty tables present in the restaurant, and it was still more than three hours till closing. I don't think this was an actual problem as much as the staff just didn't want to work. To be told by a restaurant 3 hours before closing that they are too busy to seat you, when they don't take reservations and hardly anyone is waiting outside, is bad business. There is absolutely no chance I will ever go back to this business, as we pledge been treated too poorly when it comes to seating. I typically love PF Chang's, but I just cannot see any way they'll be giving this restaurant any more business. I'd highly recommend trying to find other places to eat if there's any crowd in the Destin area when you're looking for food. read more

They FRAUDULENTLY post a reply to the (many) negative reviews like mine stating "we're sorry to hear about your bad experience and please reach out to us to see how we can address it". This is total BS and for appearing they are concerned about consumer experiences at their restaurants! NO RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS AFTER I CONTACTED ("Reached Out To Their Home Office") THEIR HOME OFFICE AFTER TWO SEPARATE ATTEMPTS AND SEVERAL WEEKS OF PATIENCE WAITING FOR A RESPONSE! n January 2019, the company announced it is in talks to be sold to TriArtisan Capital Partners and Paulson & Co. for approximately $700 million from its previous owner, Centerbridge Partners. I will be contacting BOTH TRIARTISAN CAPITAL PARTNERS and PAULSON & COMPANY Along with CENTERBRIDGE PARTNERS at their home offices and executive offices to let them know the lack of consumer attention that P.F. Chang's pays to its customers along with the failures of PF Chang's management, it's executive management, and it's organization do you even follow up on the numerous customer complaints that longtime customers like myself are completely ignored, along with the extreme drop in quality of their service and food, such as this one particular restaurant I am reviewing, along with a number of other ones I have visited recently. The new potential owner would certainly be concerned about acquiring a company that their consumer goodwill has dropped so significantly in the last one year! MY SUGGESTION is for others to take the same approach to feel like this company is headed on the skids and if you have had a similar bad experience. Are used to love P.F. Always our first restaurant during our Sandestin vacation. Service and staff were friendly and accommodating. We sampled several entrees and appetizers. They were good. The fried rice was oddly bland and my wife ordered the Buddha's feast and it was also bland. I ordered the salmon and it was excellent. One of my kids ordered the duck, also very good. We had a couple of cocktails at the bar while waiting. The bar staff was friendly and efficient. Drinks were stiff in a good way offering great value. read more

Terrible food. We ate here on vacation and this was the only place we ate that highly disappointed us. We spent 90 dollars on the meal for two and ate pretty much nothing. Very Disappointing. We have been PF Changs fans for a long, long time and passed this location while in town vacationing. We left with regrets. From the time we walked in the door to an empty host stand, we received quite slow service through every stage of the meal. We started with our absolute favorite, the wonton soup. The soup was good, but disappointing to see that the serving size is about 30% (or more) less than we remembered. My wife ordered the Combo Fried Rice, another historical favorite, and received a very bland bowl of rice, with a few green onions mixed in, topped with globs of fried chicken. The chicken was not stirred into the rice while cooked, there was absolutely no flavor, and no extra vegetables or garnish. When we called over our server to point out that we ordered the Combo fried rice and not just the Chicken fried rice, she attempted to confirm that it was the Combo fried rice. When we pointed out that all it had was chicken on it, she said she would adjust the bill. Really? In the end it was so bland that my wife did not eat it, and the server removed it from the bill. No manager came to visit us or anything after we communicated that the meal was horrible. Sad. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and although it was good, the serving size was also quite a bit smaller than the past. I had upgraded to the fried rice which was a $3 upgrade so $20 for a small(er) plate of chicken and rice is a little steep. Its pretty sad that one location can leave such a bad impression of a one time favorite, but we agreed we will not be visiting a P.F. Changs for some time. read more

Hard pass. It took nearly an hour for mains to come out (keep in mind that the restaurant is at like 50% capacity) and when they came, they were "temporarily out of white rice." How is that possible at an Asian restaurant? Mains looked sad too. Just plates of fried chicken pieces, doused with sauce, and minimal to no veggies. I've been coming here on and off for a decade and basically this is the worst PF Chang's location I've been to. Of the few times we have dined in, they are at 50% at getting the correct order delivered to our table in a reasonable amount of time. Once they brought the wrong items and another time it took 45mins to bring our meal. Don't think take out will save you, about 75% of time they won't have someone manning the takeout counter. In fact, as I write this review I have passed 10mins standing at the takeout counter with no one coming up to see why I am standing here at the take out counter. My last trip here I ended up just going to the bar where the bartender tried to get me to go back to the takeout counter. If we lived in a bigger city with decent Chinese, I would just quit coming. As it is, I say I'm not coming back, but once or twice a year I end up here again. Maybe next decade, they will figure out how to be a restaurant. read more

One of my worst restaurant experiences ever. We got there for our 7 o'clock reservation and didn't get seated until 7:30. We then ordered our appetizers and food. The food took over an hour and a half to come out and then our server drops the entire tray on the ground once it finally arrives. They recook the food 30 minutes later and still have not brought our appetizers. Once the recooked food finally comes out they forget one meal and then bring a wrong meal on top of that. Another 30 minutes goes by for them to bring the correct meals. The manager was completely unhelpful with the situation. We received no discounts even after speaking with manager. I have never seen such a poorly run restaurant. I expected much more from P.F Changs, but I see now how unprofessional they truly are. Destin has several restaurants to choose from, so trust me and pick somewhere else. read more

P.F. Chang's is delicious no matter which one you go to. The host was dressed to impress and was a fabulous representation for the first person seen as you walk through the door. We were seated in a booth and immediately greater by our server John who was outstanding! After we placed our order the food came out quickly from appetizers to entrees. What stood out to me was my son's food was brought out to him prior to me and my daughters food. John our server told us he didn't like the texture of the fried rice we got and had the chef prepare them again. That's going about and beyond for excellent service. PF Chang's was a very big mistake for us. The only positive thing was our waiter who had a very friendly smile.To start we noticed when we entered that the restaurant needed a good cleaning. The food was just mediocre at best. The table needed to be cleared more between orders. My ice tea needed to be refilled before I constantly asked to have a refill. When I went to the ladies restroom there was no toilet paper in the dirty restroom. I approached a female server who was adding up her tickets and had no time for dealing with it. This was the absolutely worst higher end restaurant in Destin and we will not return. It is a sad thing since we went there to celebrate my 70 th Birthday. read more

Walked in to hostess stand, and were welcomed with "be with you in a minute"....as she picks up the phone.......then, once off the phone, no politeness...just grabs menus and starts walking to the seating area...long story short, we didn't like where she was forcing us to sit (even with plenty of other seats available), so we ended up walking out. The manager is really at fault for letting someone like this be the customers first impression...everyone knows what the food is like, so, that's not the issue....but if a manager puts someone like this in front of the public, they should really be working on employee training...it just makes me wonder how the rest of the experience would be if we would have stayed..... read more

I have been defending this place for seven years. I love the ambiance, the bartenders, the hostess and the waiters and waitresses are five star unbelievable! Disappointing to say the lease. Last time we were there about 7-8 months ago, this place was awesome. Tonight not so much. Service was par, wasn't bad, but they certainly didn't go out of their way. When we arrived we were told it would be about a 45 minute wait. Not bad for a decent meal, so we went to the bar for a drink. Bar stools were wet along with the bar top from being wiped down prior to our arrival. Bartender did not offer to dry anything so I asked for a napkin. Received a cocktail napkin to dry off the bar stool and bar top. As soon as I did, I was told our table was ready. Ended up being less than a 10 minute wait. Sat down and ordered our food. Food came and that's when the disappointment set in. We felt like the food was cooked yesterday- very odd. Food did not seem fresh and was served warm. The Mongolian beef was way overcooked, not tender at all. Rice was ok, soup was good, shrimp roll was fair. To top it off, one of the fortune cookies was stale. The bathroom had standing water under the urinal and smelled bad. Only one sink faucet was working. You got my money this time, but never again! My advice.....go to McGuires. read more

He insisted on free apps for the timely manner things took. He hand delivered our refreshments while our server took our orders. This restaurant is severely understaffed. The entire patio was open on a beautiful night and they refused to seat anyone out there due to lack of workers. We had a reservation that I had made weeks before and reserved the patio and was denied that option. I think it's irresponsible that a restaurant refuses outdoor dining while we are still in a pandemic and the safest dining is still outdoors, especially when the area is packed full of tourists from all over. We left and went to an adequately staffed place just a block away. I get that we currently have a labor shortage in hospitality, but you could tell this place was extreme compared to others just a block away. They were also telling walk ins that the wait was over an hour and a half and there were not that many people there. There were a lot of red flags so we thought it was best to go somewhere else and cancel our reservations. read more

We tried the vegetarian lettuce wraps and the vegetarian eggplant dish. There were only 4 choices on the vegetarian entree menu. That's a little disappointing. The eggplant was cooked really well, but was significantly lacking in flavour. It was totally bland actually. It's labeled as spicy so I don't know if it usually tastes better? The vegetarian (and vegan and gluten free) lettuce wraps were very good. The flavour was awesome and combined with the textures of everything it was a fantastic dish. We had mixed feelings on the dipping sauce it came with. Nice decor and friendly service. Not busy at all for lunch on a Saturday. read more

Went to P.F.Changs this evening for the first time and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the pork dumplings, the sushi and the Lo Mein and Chicken with fried rice. I thought the price was pretty good too, far better than the surf hut we went to at lunchtime. read more

Impressed! Four of us snowbirds always enjoy spending Valentine's Day dinners together and last night chose here. We had a delightful experience. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy our waiter, Derrick, was patient and fun and gave us good advice when asked. We all chose our meal from the special Dinner for two and everything was delicious. It really was a great value too for the bubbly wine, lettuce wraps (huge serving), sea bass, steak and wall of chocolate dessert. From the staff who offered water and the guy (manager?) who stopped by to greet us, everyone was happy and very pleasant. The inside is very nice and well decorated and arranged almost feels like you are eating at some place in china or just somewhere not from around here, the waiters are very friendly and very attentive to their tables. The food is spectacular I would recommend the lettuce wraps, the short beef ribs which is some of the best short ribs I've ever had it tastes so Smokey but has a sweet woody taste that just melts in your mouth and it pairs so well with the fried rice, the dessert was amazing too got banana spring rolls and they were so delicious and the coconut-pineapple flavored ice cream was some of the best ice cream I've had, I think one of the best parts about this place is I got 2 appetizers 2 main entrees and dessert and my tab was less than 100$ which is nothing compared to other places with way less food quality and customer service. Definitely will be coming here again and many more times after that! read more

Food is ok, server was pleasant, but even with 4 tables occupied, the service was sporadic. Ordered the miso salmon medium rare, but got it medium well. The thing that got me though, was when I asked for some coffee after dinner, the response was "our coffee people have left and they dumped out the coffee before the went, so we don't have any coffee now" ... It was 30 minutes prior to closing. Adequate place but definitely not for special occasions. read more
