All 3 visits were carry-outs~ All 3 were either the wrong order, overcooked to the point of inedible, or COLD. My final visit was the worst- My noodle dish had 10 cold hard shrimp, my friends same dish had 2 cold hard shrimp. The noodles were cold and overcooked in one clump. I arrived on time to pick up carry out- stood there waiting for 10 minutes until I finally got my order- drove home (3 minutes) to find another disappointing dinner from this lousy excuse for a restaurant. We had a 7:15 reservation-got there on time and told it would be no more than 15 minutes. 15 minutes passed and then told 10 more minutes. Finally seated, but then waited 10 more minutes for a waitress to take an order. Don't think it was her fault as she was running and trying to be helpful. Brought my husband's drink and then waited another five minutes for mine(alcoholic beverage). Fortunately, I ordered soup which arrived fairly promptly, as our dinner took forever. The filet dinner was tough-Mongolian beef ok. We've been to this PF Chang's before-but never again. Not sure why they even bother taking reservations. 4/8/18--. We drove up for lunch on Sunday from Punta Gorda, Fl. About an hours drive.... we walked in around 11:30 and was greeted with the friendliest smile. Pretty quiet. The lunch crowd hadn't started in yet. We explained to the Hostess that we would be ok at the bar. We ordered drinks.... glass of wine & a Diet Coke. What can I say.... drinks are drinks !! I had a hankering for the Beef and broccoli dish while my husband had the Chicken Pad Thai. BOTH were excellent. They came out prompt, fresh & hot. And, we dug right in. Our compliments to the kitchen staff. George, the Manager also stopped by to check in with us. We were happy with good food. We were finished and just relaxing to finish my wine when George stopped by again to check in on us. A very pleasant gentleman. We talked about his background in the food service industry and he mentioned that he'd only been a Manager at that site for a few months. His demeanor, enthusiasm and his smile was refreshing. P.F. Chang's is a good restaurant corporation , all the locations I've been to are usually home runs, but this one was very weak at best. Normally I like PF Changs, but this one was a huge disappointment. To begin with it wasn't crowded, but we waited 40 minutes to get our food. My Kung Pow chicken came out looking as if like they just dropped it on the plate with no presentation no garnishment and it was overcooked and dry. Good food but terrible service. I was there with a party of 4 this week for drinks and dinner. Neither the bar nor the restaurant were busy. No one approached us for a cocktail order in the bar (we were seated on the outdoor sofas) and no one approached us to take our dinner order. Someone had to get up twice to find our server. After waiting 2.5 hours for our food with absolutely no water refills, silverware, or communication from our server, we were finally presented with meager servings that were oversauced and unsatisfying. When we were presented with the check for our full bill THREE HOURS after arriving at the restaurant with NOTHING COMPED, I tried twice to get the managers attention to see if we could have at least the drinks removed. I ordered take out online for my fiancé and I for dinner around 6:30pm. The order was for two meals, 2 drinks, and an order of edamame which was "ready for pick up by 7pm", according to email confirmation. I arrived a few minutes before 7 and was told it would be a few minutes for my food to be out so the bartender gave me the check and I paid/tipped. I went on to wait for the next hour until 8pm to finally receive my food. During that hour I did not receive one apology but instead was told by the manager on duty (Daylen or Gaylen) that the restaurant was busy and that I just have to wait. He didn't offer me a drink, appetizer, or anything for the entire hour I sat there patiently waiting. Also during that hour was constant loud complaints from employees behind the bar and in kitchen hallway about the amount of customers they had. One employee even called a customer an a**hole when referring to him wanting to speak to a manager. The bartender who assisted me was very apologetic and nice in the end and if not for him I would not return. Ps: After all of that chaos I finally get home and sit down to enjoy my meal only to find out they forgot our edamame. Just the cherry on top. read more

My friend Sheila was nice enough to invite myself and 3 other friends here for dinner tonight, and we had a ball. There was a mix-up with the reservation, but the Manager honored it anyway. Sheila, generous hostess that she is, ordered several appetizers to start. Among them were some of my favorites, the NORTHERN STYLE RIBS, CRISPY GREEN BEANS, PORK DUMPLINGS and also something that I would not partake in, but everyone else loved...CALAMARI WITH TEMPURA VEGETABLES. And that was just to get us started!!! Personally I ordered SHRIMP WITH BROWN RICE, which was excellent, and seriously, I did not pay any attention to what the others wanted for dinner, except for our vegetarian, Cheryl who ordered the MA PO TOFU. This is the worst example of a Chang's in the whole USA. We went there on Sunday night and had the lettuce wraps. Yes it's generic but you can't really screw that up. The lettuce wraps were nine bucks and 2 glasses of club soda and a lemon wedge were 7 bucks total. SOooooooo what your telling me is two seconds to fill up two glasses of water from the soda gun is 7 bucks..... but for 2 bucks more you can get the lettuce wraps. RIPPED OFF. The server was kind but his facial hair was so extensive we were look for beard hair in our .... well everything. The server said they have A Mongolian beef special on Monday. FOR unknown insane reasons..... Monday we decided to return for 7$$$$ water and a 10$ app. We showed up and ordered the Mongolian Beef. Of alllll our travels throughout the world this was hands down the worst ever. Burnt, re-cooked beef so nasty it was un-real. We felt pressure to leave because it was getting 45 minutes away from closing and my lady had to ask what time in-fact they did close. Really obnoxious and ladies and gents the drum roll please. We took the Mongolian beef leftovers to give to a homeless person. We couldn't find one so we left it open for the local pest to devour it outside.... next morning.... it was untouched by ever the local raccoons. DONT GO THERE!! My wife and I decided to make the 25 minute drive to PF Changs last night for dinner. Right after we left, my wife suggested we call to make sure it wasn't crowded. I called twice and was left on hold both times. On the third attempt, we were told there was a 30 minute wait. When we arrived less than 10 minutes later,the place was half empty. I guess they didn't want another customer. We were seated promptly but my wife waited 20 minutes for her glass of wine. Our waitress was unenthusiastic, if not plain rude. beside the wine, we asked for sauces that never showed up. Generally, management at PF Changs keep their places running efficiently. A manager will usually come over to the table and ask about our experience but not last night. My wife's entree was luke warm, her rice was cold, and the flavor was mediocre. The only saving grace of the evening was that my Street noodles were excellent. I hate to say it, but this specific restaurant has fallen into the category of over-rated chain restaurant. There are so many better options in the Sarasota area. Sorry PF Changs. I can tolerate a poor meal but your staff was terrible. They actually lied to us about the wait and consistently forgot about us. You won't see us again. read more

My boyfriend and I love going to this restaurant back home. We decided to eat here the last night staying in Sarasota. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because of the service we got. Our waiter didn't introduce himself. I had ordered a special drink and he forgot and brought it out right before I was done eating. He never refilled our waters till we were about to leave and took a very long time getting back to us with anything. I get maybe he was busy and maybe cause we are young. We love this place in terms of atmosphere and food. What is really, really, really bad is the service. We have been there three times now, and each time it took a whole evening for the two of us to get served, to pay, and to get out of there. Why must it take so long???? Also, if they seat you near the window, the fans overhead make it so cold you need a coat. Several other tables complained to their server, but the server said there was nothing he could do. We sat at the bar and even with the 3 bartenders working it took 5 minutes to acknowledge us, they were all busy stocking and cleaning the bar. Every time we needed something we had to flag one of the bartenders down, it was almost humorous how they avoided looking in our direction. Not one of the 3 bartenders attempted conversation and they looked a bit irritated when we needed something. Our glasses would sit empty and our dirty plates sat in front of us. We ate here last night. The food was good but took a long time. All of the side dishes except the rice were placed on the table with no serving utensils. We had to ask for them several times. The waiter said the entrees were family style meant for sharing but none of the entrees or sides were large enough to share. But the biggest issue, and the reason for the two stars is our server kept taking our soft drinks, even those that were only half consumed and bringing new drinks. Everyone at our table just assumed the soda and iced tea refills were free. To our surprise we were charged for EVERY soda and iced tea refill. And our server took many, many half full glasses away and brought new ones. So we all ended up paying $3.00 for many half consumed glasses of sodas and iced tea. read more

I keep trying to like this place as it's close to my home. However, the last three times I've stopped in for a beer and takeout I have been diapointed. The portions continue to get smaller and the quality is not what it was when I first started dining there years ago. It seems that the staff has also lost interest in providing above average service. I have started driving to Yummy House which is a bit out of my way. The prices are better and the portions are much larger. Please make an effort to get back to the place I used to enjoy. read more

Eat at the airport locations all the time and LOVE the lemon grass chicken salad. It is not available at the restaurant for some unknown reason. I ordered the mandarin crunch salad instead - paid a 99 cents up charge for extra mango - there were four dice size chunks on it. It was a disappointment. We ordered about $75 worth of takeout. The Chef is personable and talented and the General Manager, Mr. Reyes and his team are always professional, warm and gracious. We often have our work luncheons catered by P.F. Well came back day after Christmas and the place at 12:30 was pretty empty unlike the restaurants at UTC mall that were full at lunch time , but I am here to rate the food n it wasn't improved much from last time , while it was good but not the quality I ve had at other PF Changs in the past ..the fried rice was gummy , the honey chicken was far from crispy more like gummy , the pork egg rolls were not crispy there's no excuse cause the place was about empty , the lunch portions on lunch menu were to say the least very small the only good thing was the new item of Brussels sprouts and the ribs . The two of us paid $63 for a very poor quality lunch that we could have gotten at UTC mall at Cheesecake Factory for half the price n double the lunch portion maybe they should go see when the menu says crispy orange chicken or honey chicken how Cheesecake Factory does it every time . Better yet go take some lessons from PEI WEI at UTC mall I think kitchen mgr change is needed or maybe some quality training read more
