Been to many PF Changs locations around the country. First time coming to the one in Virginia Beach. Came here for my birthday dinner, and signed up for their rewards program. Managed to get a good deal.. free edamame (portion was very small), $10 off for signing up to their rewards program, free appetizer, and a free birthday cake.. As for the food. It was good as usual. The orange chicken was very orange flavored. The Singapore noodles were a little too salty, compared to other locations, but had a nice curry flavor to them. We had the egg rolls for an appetizer, they tasted bland so you had to dip them into the wasabi sauce that they gave you. The service was excellent. The waitress we had was very attentive, she had our cups of soda refilled without asking. She let us know that the kitchen was a little behind so it would be an extra 5 mins or so for our meal. And she checked up on us regularly which was really great. Definitely recommend PF Changs if you want to try something different than the Cheesecake Factory across the street. read more

My son was here and working remote on west coast time. So dinner would have to be ordered from a restaurant that stayed open late. I wanted my middle aged baby boy to choose the spot. That night he chose P.F. Chang's. Believe it or no I had never been to the restaurant, not realizing they served other Asian dishes than just Chinese. I also prefer choosing local restaurants than their chain competitors. Looking down the menu I was delighted to see that they had Pad Thai, one of my favorites. The food came quickly, was packaged perfectly and was still fresh and warm. The containers are large, microwave & dishwasher safe. My Pad Thai was excellent and enough for two meals, reheated in its original container. My son had Garlic Noodles and a Spicy Tuna Roll. My friend had the Vegetable Lo Mein, which was also enough for two meals. I can't speak for the service or restaurant experience. We were seated at 725pm (party of 2) - ordered drinks, appetizers, and our entrees within 10 minutes. It took 35 minutes to receive two drinks, and another hour to receive our meal. The Mongolian beef came out so burnt it was charred and tasted horrible. I've been coming here for 15 years, this is the least amount of people I've ever seen in this restaurant yet manager Tamara had every excuse in the world for the reason it took so long. Normally I am okay with having bad service, but we literally sat down and ordered drinks and didn't even get them till 10 minutes after we received our soup.... which in itself took at least 35 minutes..... once we actually got our meals, they had NO flavor.... hardly any sauce and just not worth it. We have been on a Chinese food kick lately, don't ask me why lol. Maybe I'm craving salt. But we were also doing some shopping and had to stop for food before dying of hanger. I still have a cold, so soup for me!!! We got shrimp for appetizers and they were delicious, had a little bit of heat to them. My order came out wrong, so I ended up with both steamed and fried rice. Pretty good. This place will always hold a special place in my heart. I have loved this location from the start, but slowly they are drifting away from me loving them to just liking them. Now, I must say what's a 10/10 every time, the agave margarita. They can do no wrong when it comes to making this. My go to meals are the fried shrimp dumplings and the Chang's spicy chicken. At this point, the restaurant is hit or miss and it seems the misses come throughout the week when I dine in and hit every time on the weekend when I dine in. Needless to say, if I do decide to dine during the week it's for happy hour. I have ordered to go a few times recently, but dining in and at the bar on the weekend, Friday - Sunday - is the way to go! Parking is still no issue. Dear PF Chang: From the minute my wife and I walked into the restaurant something was off! The host looked miserable, the waitress looked stress and didn't even greet us, it was a CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER! We knew we should get up and leave, but we wanted our usual order: Signature Lo Mein, BBQ Pork Ribs, Pork Egg Rolls and a nice drink. We always liked the incredible drinks. It took a 15 minutes wait for the drinks, another 10 minutes for the egg rolls, the BBQ ribs were burn and submerged in BBQ sauce, terrible! It took another 10 or so minutes for the Signature Lo Mein to arrive and it arrived cold without the three sauces. I was asked about the portions, yep, the portions were less, yet cost more. The disappointment with the cooks was real, these weren't chiefs, they seem to be losers in the kitchen, not even cooks. PF Chang is now at least in our book, a fast food joint and a bad one! First night solo. Fresh out of trainee status. You'd expect a little wobble, maybe a glance toward a manager for reassurance. Nope. From Minute One to Minute Done, she was calm, confident, attentive, and genuinely warm. The kind of energy that makes you root for someone you just met. Now -- plot twist. Jen had a gift card. The balance? Unknown. The confidence? High. The result? Declined. Not partially. Not politely. Fully rejected. We assume it expired and chose violence. But here's the thing: zero awkwardness. Zero weird vibes. Our server handled it smoothly, professionally, and with grace beyond her "first night out" status. That alone earns respect. We ordered drinks, entrées (names lost to the joy of consumption), and a bottle of wine. Everything landed. The pacing was right. The check-ins were natural. The whole dinner felt easy. And that's what good service does -- it makes the night feel easy. I genuinely wish I remembered her name because if this was Night One flying solo, she's going to be just fine. We'll be back. I'm so-so on this place. The waitress was incredibly nice but she was stretched really thin waiting on way too many tables and trying to mix drinks. This created some long gaps in service. Not her fault at all; clearly a staffing issue. The food was all decent and, as we got the lunch portion, it was plenty of food without being overwhelming. The cocktails tasted fine and were pretty but weak. The place appeared clean but they have a definite fruit fly issue they need to address. Money to value was a little off due to the cocktails but we will probably try again. read more

Delicious food and excellent service by Nico! We eat at P F Chang's quite often and we specifically enjoy the salmon entrees, dumplings and Mongolian beef. Everything we have ever ordered was superior. This is a clean, and enjoyable establishment and they even have some outdoor seating. The Mongolian beef has never once disappointed literally always bomb HOWEVER every single time I go to P.F. Chang's, any of them the portions get smaller and smaller. For a $20+ dish I want to be full and I unfortunately am not anymore. I also order almond cashew chicken which is no longer on their menu but I always appreciate them still making it for me, it was not as good this time around but it's usually always good. My family and I have been here several times and we have never been disappointed. It's a little pricey but it's worth it.

It has honestly been years since I've been here. We went here b/c we were at the Sandler and wanted to do dinner and a ballet experience. Such a winning combo. If you intend to visit here during prime time hours, I'd highly recommend making reservations. It can get quite busy. The food serving sizes here really do cater to that 'order big then share' experience. We knew that going in and since we're not a family of big eaters, the 5 of us (one child) were able to share 2 dishes (and an appetizer). It's quite impressive when you think about how much food that is. Overall, the food was very delicious. My only 'meh' was that the prices can get lofty - quickly. So just be mindful if you're coming out here. Today, we ordered Chang's for delivery, and chose a delivery service to get the food here. All good. Except that, after an hour, the driver contacts me, telling me they had to cancel the order, as they couldn't make it to the restaurant. Still, mostly all good. Not ideal, but things happen. In a perfect world, Chang's would have tossed that food, or given it away... who cares? We do not live in a perfect world. We decided that we really did want Chang's. It had been months since we had eaten there. So, we re-ordered, and stupidly ordered the exact same food. Remember, it's been a while since we first ordered. So, I was surprised when, after five minutes, I got a notification that my driver was heading our way. I texted the driver, and they confirmed that they asked how they made it so fast. Literally, the driver was bringing us our food, after just a few minutes. So... they did not remake the food, and rather, gave us the food that had been sitting around for an hour. The food was ice cold and inedible. Lots of things go wrong with delivery. But, this level of cheapness was entirely P. F. Chang's fault and not the fault of the delivery driver. We chose not to contact the delivery support, because that driver would then lose their tip. They did their job, and then some. Even they were suspicious that the food was already in a bag. So, I'm not penalizing them for Chang's. Just... shame, Chang's. Shame. Do better. read more

Review - Wednesday, August 13, 2025 From the drink to the food, this experience was nasty, nasty, nasty. It seems they may have a new cook -- one who clearly did not get the recipes passed down. Their idea of "spicy" is simply pouring on hot sauce. Whatever happened to actual spices? When I mentioned it wasn't spicy, they just added more hot sauce. The drink (a cherry blossom) tasted like I was sucking on a lemon -- yuck. To make matters worse, the meat tasted like it was from yesterday, with burnt pieces still stuck from an unwashed pot. Definitely not worth the money, and I think I'll be staying away for a while. PF Chang's had been a go to for us and we come once a month and typically order the Chefs Feast. Coming on Mother's Day we knew that we would likely not get the food or service we have become used to but what happened was even below our low expectations. Seated 30 minutes after our reservation but we didn't complain given the holiday. Server needed to be reminded several times of requests but we didn't complain given the holiday. Food was slow to come, but, you know what I'm going to say. Entree finally arrived and it looked like someone had already eaten it and this was the leftovers. It was half the usual portion as we order this same dish every time we come. Waitress is asked and explains that the Chef's Feast is a smaller portion but again, we know the size. She says she'll send the manager over but he doesn't come and our small dishes are now the same size but getting cold. So I go to the manager myself. He says, yeah, sorry we made portion smaller rather than raise prices. Sorry. No. I'm sorry PF Chang. That's the last time for me. read more

I hadn't been to a P.F. Chang's in years so I decided to stop in on a Wednesday night for a bite to eat. We were seated right away since the restaurant was mostly empty due to it closing soon (we arrived at 9pm and they close at 10pm). Our waiter quickly greeted us and informed us that the food menu was viewable via the QR code. After viewing the menu, we decided on the Crispy Honey Chicken and the Kung Pao Chicken. I also ordered Wonton Soup for a Starter. The food came out about 30 minutes after we ordered and unfortunately the soup came out with the entrees which meant I had to eat them both at the same time. From first view, the entree portion sizes looked to be much smaller than what I remembered. We both ordered the side of Fried Rice with our meal, which was an additional $4.50 per meal. The rice came out in one bowl and the bowl wasn't even filled halfway. Our entrees were good though, the Crispy Honey Chicken was flavorful and very delicious. The Kung Pao Chicken was pretty good but I'm not sure if I would order it again. It lacked some flavor. The Fried Rice was amazing, we just wish we could have had more and the soup was served lukewarm and tasted mediocre. Overall, this was my first time eating at this location and the service was great. Our waiter was very nice and informative of the menu. I loved the beautiful wall art as well. If I had to give any feedback, I would definitely recommend slightly larger portions. read more

I know this is a change but we had some of the best food at this location in Virginia Beach. We got right in and sat at the bar. We got a sushi roll and the dumplings and they were amazing. Ehhhh......nothing to write home about. We walked in on a Friday night around 5:30. Sat at the bar and made it for Happy Hour. Didn't even know there was a Happy Hour so I was excited. Everything on the HH menu is $8. We both got the Lychee cosmo which was pretty and it was good but a bit too sweet for me. We ordered the crab wonton off the HH menu and also lettuce wraps and brussel sprouts. The best of the 3 were the brussel sprouts. I didn't care for the crab wonton. I had better at your average local Chinese take out restaurant. The lettuce wraps were good but the lettuce was a bit brown. The service was good but not exceptionally friendly. For a chain restaurant, P.F. Chang's is very consistent, and reliably delicious. You'll find them primarily across the street from a "Cheesecake Factory;" they're intentionally located there, to monopolize on the long wait times of CCF; picking up their overflow. I personally prefer PFC to CCF anyway. Each location is similarly designed; chinese decor and accents. Staff has always been hospitable, and accommodating. The food, exceptional for a chain restaurant. My go to is the "Mongolian Beef" and I add broccoli. I also ask for extra Mongolian sauce. From the appetizers to the main courses, you really can't go wrong. I definitely recommend. read more

Ate an early dinner at ~4PM on July 8th, 2025. Cost; about $70. Quality about the same as a time in the middle 2000's when we quit going. Pepper steak was a bowl of stew, meat - tuff as shoe leather, 3/4 inch of sauce in the bowl, veggies were soggy. It took a few of years for Corporate to bring in a training team that last ime to get the restaurant back on the right path. Wonder how long it will take this time? I love PF Changs! Recently visited here a couple of days ago and enjoyed my experience! Its usually kinda crowded on the weekends but the service is always fast. When I came in it was packed, I was expecting to be told that it was going to be a wait for my family (party of 3) and I but it wasn't! They sat us right down. The decorum of the restaraunt is pretty nice! I would say its a nice spot to have a dinner to celebrate any occassion or even go out on a date! However it is a little small so some tables are kinda close and tight together. It would also be kinda hard to sit larger parties (10-12 plus) all together at one table. The food is delicious with nice size portions! Mt favorite is both the lo mein and friend rice combination - it comes with shrimp, steak, and chicken meat. They are not skimpy when it comes down to placing meat in the food. I get nice size portions everytime I come here and always have to leave with a to-go box. Prices vary from $13-30 dollars. We had a very pleasant experience at P.F. Chang's. Since we visited on a slow Saturday night, we had no issues getting a table without a reservation or a long wait. Although I forgot his name, our server was absolutely amazing. He provided great recommendations for our food and cocktails. While some might complain about the prices, I thought they were fair because (IMO) you are paying for the atmosphere, ambiance, and the brand. P.F. Chang's definitely is not one of the million No 1 Chinese restaurants in the area. For our dining pleasure, we shared the Chang's Lettuce Wraps, Crispy Honey Chicken, and Korean Glass Noodles. Everything was pretty on point. In fact, I wished that I order two order of the Lettuce Wraps so I can have them the following day. Our server and the kitchen did a great job modifying the Crispy Honey Chicken for me. I asked if the kitchen could make the dish less sweet and add a little bit of spice to it. I thought the portion sizes of the dishes were fine. Funny, our server mentioned that we should be careful ordering because the portion sizes are HUGE. When the plates arrived to the table, I was like they aren't that HUGE.
