I hate to do this, but it's been on my mind for the last few days so I knew that I had to say something. I really really did not like my experience here. I have this rule of trying things out twice, just to make sure something is really not for me, and this place is not. Overall, a summary of both trips; I felt super uncomfortable the entire time I was there because you constantly feel like they are talking about you. They stop working on you to do other things or just kinda be in each other's business. When I made some small talk with the girl (I said I've been taking some fake biotin clearly because my nails aren't growing, and she goes oh that's good. Before anyone jumps down the she didn't understand train, she speaks English really well. They just don't care) Both times I've left, my gel manicure just isn't that great. Like the nails aren't that clean. As for the PEDICURE. This was probably the worst I've experienced in so long. I had the grandmother both times. The first time I came, she cut my toe really badly and literally made me cry from how much she was manhandling it. She didn't even clean up/cut my dead skin correctly. She didn't USE SOAP TO SCRUB MY HEEL! She used cuticle oil, barely was scrubbing and wasn't even looking or paying attention. She did a really mediocre job on the nail polish. The second time I came, when they gave her to me I told the woman who was doing my nails "Hey, this lady really hurt me last time so I'm a little nervous" and she told her straight up in their language and the grandma looked at me blankly and goes "I hurt you last time" like hello awkward. She did a really crap job on cleaning my nails and again used cuticle oil to barely scrub my heel. I was so frustrated and visibly agitated at her service. She again did a mediocre job on the nail polish. It was only when I got home that I snapped because I had clearly asked her and told her that I knew I had some extra SKIN aka corn people growing on the side of my pinky toe and to please please cut it. She literally kept saying there was nothing there and legit PAINTED over it pretty much. I had to go home and cut it myself and re file my toe. Super pathetic. I'm honestly upset writing this review, but it's been bothering me to not say something. I will never be back here again. read more

My gels look perfect, I mean PERFECT. I am someone who can find something wrong with ever manicure I've ever gotten and i can't with Steve's. Shape, gel, brand ( gellish) everything. He also told me they use gel remover instead of acetone to remove gel that doesn't your hurt your nails or take as long. Quite possibly the worst nail place I've ever been to. Not only did they completely rush me and my gf out but also didn't give us what we paid for. Guy literally took 10 minutes on her pedicure, didn't massage or clean feet properly. On top of that I got acrylics and was charged more then what they are worth or was told over the phone. Some of my nails are lopsided and they weren't cleaned off after filing so left residue on them then put gel on top. Don't over book if you're not going to do the nails properly. Called for an appointment at 2 for 4pm, got there at 3:40 and wasn't helped til 4:45... like I said, don't over book if you won't do them properly. read more

I accidentally drop by this nail salon with my daughter and it was different from other nail salons. My daughter and I walked in the nail salon and the women who worked there politely asked me. if I had an appointment? and I said no. They said no worries they sat us down in some comfy couches that my daughter and I can sit close together. which I really loved they had some candy in a bowl in a table and offer my daughter some which I find that very sweet of them. I give this place two stars because they accommodated me on such short notice and they had great customer service. Unfortunately the SNS color I wanted (black) they did not have so they offered two alternatives 1) dip my nails in dark purple SNS powder and paint over it with a black gel polish or 2) dip them in a clear SNS powder and paint over them in black gel polish. I went with option #2. My nails came out nice at first. I thanked them and tried to pay with my visa debit that's when they told me they did not accept cards. They gave me the option of Venmo or Zelle which I had neither of those. I offered to pay in singles since I had 100 of them from the night before a festivities. Lol. They asked if I could try to set up a zelle account through my bank account. That wasn't going to work for me. I finally asked if they had Cash App. They said yes. So I paid via cash app and tipped and extra $10 in cash because I also got my eyebrows waxed which I did like btw. Now here is where it gets bad. I get to my car and I'm on the phone still sitting in front of the shop. I notice the gel polish is messed up on my thumb nail. I figured I must have let it touch the towel or something before it was completely dry. Anyway I did not have time to go bk in there to fix it as I was already pressed for time. So I went back to my hotel to get ready for my evening when I noticed the polish on my nails began to bubble on a few of my fingers. I was confused as to why this was happening. I checked my thumb nail and saw the polish was lifting completely off of my nail. I was livid! By this time the shop was closed so I could not call or go back to get it fixed. After I took a shower it got worst and by morning most of my thumb polish had come off and the rest of my nails were bubbled. I wanted to go back to the salon to have them fix it but it was across town from my hotel and again I had a lot on my schedule for that day. It was BET award weekend and we had a lot going on. So i chose another nail salon in the area (which I will also do a review on) that was able to assist me better. I don't know what went wrong with my nails but I was a little upset because I paid $47 not including my eyebrows and tipped and extra $10 and then had to turn around the very next day and pay another $60 to get them done over. read more
