Came with my partner for a mani pedi. Both of us had different experiences. Mine was pretty bad. The owner (I think, glasses, small build, older) did mine and this was the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Clipped 2 of my nail beds until they bled (did not apologize and applied ethanol which stung/ I was wincing the whole time). I didn't speak up because she seemed a bit scary (exchanged zero pleasantries, others seemed cordial). Another woman did my pedicure and she was great (but the older lady came around and told her stop taking so long). My partner's nail tech was very good. Good massage, mani pedi, no issues (he didn't get any polish though). Stay away from the owner and you should be fine it seems. I paid extra for the callus remover and he scrubbed half my toe off till I bled. I was super upset and it was super painful. It was so uncomfortable asking for a discount or refund but I think them offering that is only right. Waste of money. It's been 2 days since I went to get a mani and pedi and the the lady who did my nails left paint all over my nails and never cleaned up. Secondly, they are turning a yellow color already and original color is light pink. This was a complete waste of money. I went to get a gel mani and pedi last week. The price total was $80, which is very affordable. I arrived and was immediately seated. The service took no more than one hour. My two stars deduction is due to the fact that two of my toes are still red, sensitive, and in discomfort. The lady who did my pedicure cut so deep into the skin of my toes that I bled a bit the day after. I have been worried of getting an infection, so I have been to putting on Neosporin. This was the first time I ever had to feel discomfort after an experience that should be relaxing and stress-relieving. read more

Every step of my manicures have been done with such attention to detail, and the results are flawless. You can bring in a picture and they will match it. (I asked them to match my nails to my shoes because I am a menace, but they took on the challenge!) The salon is clean, comfortable, and has a calm, low-key vibe that makes it easy to relax. I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel like it needs to be shared. I came in for a pedicure expecting a relaxing treat--but no one told me I'd be getting a service from someone in training. I'm in cosmetology school myself, so I could've done this at home, but I was looking to enjoy the experience and have a professional take care of me for once. Instead, the appointment dragged on for over 95 minutes--and that's after I started recording a video an hour into the appointment. The man who was doing my pedicure needed constant help from other staff just to get through basic steps. You can literally see in the video the qualified technician walking in late and taking over after the damage was done. It was clear he knew what he was doing, but he only came after the first hour had passed and had to redo much of what was already done. They started the service before even having proper staff on-site, which is completely unprofessional. My calluses were barely touched--I'll just be removing them properly at home. When I brought up my concerns politely, the staff got incredibly rude and defensive. They denied what had clearly happened, tried to argue with me, and even attempted to drag another customer into the situation. It got messy and unprofessional fast, and the owner herself was sitting on her phone the entire time while all of this was going on. To top it all off, they accused me of not paying at the end--when I absolutely had. I still haven't even had a chance to properly check how the nails turned out because I had plans I'm now extremely late for. All around, it was a disrespectful and chaotic experience. I would never come back here, and I highly recommend you call ahead if you do go--just to make sure you're not unknowingly booked for someone's training session. This also raises a serious question: are only licensed nail techs or cosmetologists allowed to be working here? If someone this inexperienced was allowed to work on paying clients without proper supervision or disclosure, it makes me wonder if this salon is even following basic licensing regulations. It honestly seems like something that should be reported to the state board. read more

This was my second time coming to this nail salon. The first time I came I thought the owner was not very friendly, but figured it was my first time so maybe it was an off day. I came back because I wanted to try a new process for me of the powder application. I expected to pay quite a bit more and was fine with it and the quality of the work was excellent. As someone else mentioned they had a brand new person working on my pedicure (the same guy in the video below). The owner stepped in and took over polishing my toenails. She did a quick job and had a couple of toes that had some gaps which I asked her to fix. She came over and quickly swiped the two nails looked at me and said ok? Now to the real issue. The lady that did my manicure was definitely not friendly, which isn't a total deal breaker. After she was done with me and went to work on someone else I gave the owner $15. $10 for the lady that did my nails and $5 for the novice pedicure guy. Neither one of them thanked me for the tip. In fact, the lady passed by me to get polish for the new person and wouldn't even look at me. I thought maybe I was too cheap in my tip, but I had paid quite a bit for the service itself. Overnight I thought about it more and thought to write this review. I was in the service industry so I know about how to treat people. But everyone else in the salon payed after their services. They made no mention on the phone with me that I had to pay before my manicure was done. They racially profiled me and disrespected me. **This review is specific to my experience with one particular individual. It does not speak for the other technicians in the salon who may be amazing. I don't know her name, but she's the loud, direct and aggressive one. She stands out from the rest.** WHY I WENT: I had gel extensions I wanted removed because one nail was bothering me and I was gonna get my nails done the next day at my regular nail spot. I had cut the extra length of my nails at home to prevent further injury. WHAT HAPPENED: - She asked if my nails were acrylic, I said "No, they are GelX". She asked the same question, I gave the same answer. "GelX". - She began removing my nails immediately by sliding another nail under my extensions, then using some other tool to literally TEAR THE EXTENSION OFF like one might do at home with some dental floss and no money. She didn't pre-soak. She did not use other tool to grind away the gelx. Just tore away. She FINALLY used those other two options (soak and grind) when she could see I meant when I said that "it hurts" and could see I was in physical pain (teary). Soak in acetone after nail bed is already exposed. I said I didn't want to but she said we had to to get it off. All nails are removed nails. Did a little buffing. Added paint then sent me on my way. My whole visit lasted 20 minutes. Gelx removal and manicure with regular nail polish. You do the math. WHY IT'S A REAL 1 STAR REVIEW: - I was injured. There goes all of your stars. I went in with one nail that was injured and came out with 2 ADDITIONAL injuries. It was a painful experience that she blamed on me (b/c I cut down my nail down short) when it was her removal process that was the problem! LITERALLY tearing the gelx off of my nail bed! - Lack of technique. She don't got it. B/c of this and her lack of care, she tore my skin and nails (see my pictures). Also, I learned today from my usual lady nail tech, that for GelX you cannot remove in this way. WHY I STAYED: - I really wanted to leave once the nails were off, even when I was in pain. But honestly, I was in shock and I wanted the injured nail dealt with. I had work immediately after and I professionally, could not have my nails looking the way they did. So I felt I had to bear it and grin. AFTER THE FACT: I walked out and before I could even turn the corner to go downstairs, I started BAWLING. I was already silently crying through the experience but held it in just to get through it. But once I was through it, just bawled for 10 minutes in front of the long line of cars going to In-and-Out. It was the worst nail experience I have ever had in my life and I will never, NEVER go back. Went to work and had to modify my responsibilities cause my fingers were hurting. IN CONCLUSION: Maybe she's an old school technician. I don't know. But in 2022 and in LOS ANGELES? Nahhhhhh. We have TONS of better options and places to go to. And you should go to those places instead. read more

I used to get my nails done by Hannah but she is no longer at this salon. The salon OWNER has done my last three sets. The first set was great, second set was a mess!!! 4 nails completely snapped off. I had to get them repaired , she said it was because they were "thin". This last set did it for me, im never returning to this establishment again. This is probably the worst set I've ever gotten, so sloppy & she cut me twice. Also, the fact that she stops to answer the phone every other min while there's other people more than capable of picking up is beyond annoying. The owner is so preoccupied checking what others are doing instead of focusing on the job she's doing. As a salon owner, it's a shame she produces such subpar work. At this point, I need a FULL refund. I'm going to go to another salon and get my nails done properly instead of this SLOPPY job which cost me $65. read more
