Arrived for a Friday afternoon pedicure with Mariho and found the front desk woman to be quite standoffish/unfriendly. However, I had my pedicure done by Mariho and she did an outstanding job! I had it done outside for the open air feel and while it was nice -- the sight of spiders terrified me a bit and made it slightly difficult to relax. Most of the stars for this review go to the woman who did my pedicure and not the establishment itself. Additionally, it was a bit noisy in the back where the outdoor space is and obviously that isn't the fault of the salon. However, I think it makes me reconsider this location as a place I'd frequent as the indoor space is quite crammed. read more

My friend got her nails done there a few weeks ago and when I recently saw her she was telling me about her service and how long her nails lasted! When she told me it Dazzle Dry Polish I immediately booked my appointment. I booked a mani/pedi with Mariho and she did an awesome job! She also does nail art too! The vibe of the nail salon is a wonderful indoor/outdoor space. I love how it's not overcrowded like your typical nail place. Friendly and professional in a boutique setting. If you're not familiar with Dazzle Dry Polish it's non-toxic and quick drying! When I mean quick drying, I seriously mean in 5 minutes. Also, the owner has an great selection of colors. So many to choose from! The largest Dazzle Dry selection I've ever seen. One quick note about parking. It's LA so it's street parking on Venice or around the corner on Cattaraugus but at least it's free (no meters). If you have time just park at Helms Bakery and grab lunch at Father's Office or Pasta Sisters after your appointment. Overall my experience will now be a part of my self care beauty routine. This is a great place to start off a fun day. 4. For safety precautions, you're required to sign a waiver form, get your temperature checked upon arrival, and seating is actually more than 6 feet apart outside! I'm so glad I found this place! I'm grateful they have the outdoor option and are very strict with protocols. It let me truly relax knowing every pre auction was being taken. I hate leaving bad reviews... I've been here twice and it was a great experience and had been really excited thinking I had found my new nail place. I went in today and it was not great. I had made an appointment for a gel mani and pedi a month ago in person when I finished my last appointment. Today they did my pedicure and for some reason only booked me for gel removal on my nails which makes no sense, especially because I booked a gel manicure. I'm so upset I'm walking out of the salon with nothing on my nails as they will surely break and it's taken me forever to grow them out. Not to mention I drove 45 mins here and took the afternoon off work just to have this appointment. Really happy with this place! I chose it because they have an outside area. I booked a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I called the day before to confirm that my appointment would be outside, and was told that they don't do gel manicures outside. I'm glad I called because I was able to switch my manicure to a Dazzle Dry manicure, which would be outside. Mariho did my both my mani and pedi and she was wonderful! I was really happy with how it came out. My appointment was at 1:15 for my mani and it was nice and sunny/hot, but by 2:15, it was super cold and I wish I would have brought a sweater. Mariho was kind enough to offer me a blanket, but I declined. Bring a sweater or jacket if you are outside to prepare for this crazy LA weather we are having. The only thing I was wondering about/concerned about was that I thought it was mandatory for nail salons in Los Angeles to ask for vaccination proof now, and no one asked me for this when I checked in.
