Cool spot. Wish I could come here more often. Nice location and an area to go for a walk in the spring/summer/fall. Has coffee truck out in the lot. Only a small parking spot in the back - street otherwise. Staff is friendly. Nice menu selection. Food is great. Different pizza varieties. Great apps to share.

PA house is a great place with such a good vibe in Hellertown. Indoor and outdoor is so cute. They are pet friendly outside. Food is always fresh and yummy and drinks are good. Tad pricey but def worth a visit.

This place is absolutely one of a kind. The staff is polite and kind. The owner notices you and greets you as well. It shows character.. the ambiance is beautiful and the decor really is chic. PA House is a wood fired kitchen & craft cocktail bar located on Front St. in Hellertown. They are open Wed - Thu 12 - 9PM, Fri - Sat 12 - 11PM, and Sun 12 - 9PM. The menu consists of small plates, salads, sandwiches, and pizza. I started with the PA House fries and roasted cauliflower. The fries were cooked perfectly and served with three delicious dipping sauces. The cauliflower was wood-fired and accompanied with romesco sauce. The appetizers were both satisfying, but the pizza was highly disappointing. I enjoy a light, airy crust, but this one was bland, had no crisp, and couldn't hold up any toppings. After sitting just a few minutes my pizza was a soggy, sloppy mess. If you're going to charge $19 for a personal pizza it better be amazing. This was far from amazing. Service was good and the restaurant is beautiful, but the food, more specifically the pizza, did not measure up. PA House has indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations recommended. Food was really good. Wood fired pizzas were a fave. Service was quick and servers were attentive and pleasant. Ambience was relaxed and minimalistic with fun lighting.

Nice atmosphere and good apps and drinks but the pizza really isn't for me. We got a variety of the top suggested apps, the cheeses and fries, which were nice and salty which I like! The avocado, Pom and pear salad was good too but I forgot to swap out the goat cheese for something else. We tried 3 pizzas - a red sauce meat, and two white pizzas with artichoke and the other with arugula. As one reviewer noted, they were really floppy and doughy, no crisp at all. Just not my favorite. Also very $$$ for the size. The affogato with the vanilla gelato was divine! I want to try the half baked cookie and gelato since half baked seems to be their forte The service was great! I'd go back to try a sandwich and do the apps and dessert again, but I'd pass on the pizza.

We sat outside, which was pleasant though a bit buggy. Our server was friendly, but service was quite slow, with the wine arriving after the food. The food itself was solid. The Cacio e Pepe Patate was the standout, a solid 8/10. The whipped truffle ricotta and shishito peppers were also good, both rating 7/10. The seasonal Bellini was sooo beyond good. Wine was nice too. However, the sea burger was disappointing--I wouldn't recommend it. Parking was easy with a lot right in front. Overall, good vibes with clean and trendy decor.

This is a Hellertown 5 star joint. And 4 star if it was in Philly, so it's quite good! First visit was sitting at the bar, great service from the staff there and their drink making chops are on display. Quite busy on a super rainy Wed night, reservations are a must it seems. Food and drink was reasonably priced (wine per glass a touch high at $14 being an exception) and well executed. Loud inside so dining outdoors would be a good option, weather permitting. Staff was consistently attentive and upbeat. Looking forward to trying out the pizza game, the Neapolitan pies I saw others enjoying looked well executed. Recommended - but don't forget those reservations!

The food was okay, I got a burger and it was totally undercooked. I also got the pepperoni pizza, and the crust was completely burnt, the cheese kept falling off, the base of the pizza was so thin. The service was okay as well, when i got my pizza, they gave me no plates, i had to ask to get plates because i wasn't going to eat my pizza with a napkin. They gave me a drink with three cups and I had no idea how to make the drink, i had to ask someone how to make it because the server who gave me the drink didn't tell me how to drink it. The interior was very nice though, i loved the vibe of the place.

La Maya did not disappoint! The ambience is dimly lit, and perfect for a romantic dinner. On the cocktails side, I tried "Señor Sal" - a dirty martini / Vesper riff featuring their proprietary gin and vodka, dry vermouth, pickled jalapeño, olive brine, and lemon infused olive oil. It was a visually attractive, delicious, and sturdy cocktail. Just what the doctor ordered! Later I tried the house margarita. It was balanced and refreshing. There are options to add flavorings to the house margarita spec for +$2 (e.g., Matcha Coconut, Spicy, Guava Mint, Caramelized Pineapple). My dinner companion tried the caramelized pineapple and loved it. On the culinary side, the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. For an entree, I selected the Carne Nortena - a tequila-marinated ribeye with sauteed scallions, shisito peppers. The steak was cooked perfectly to temperature (medium-rare) and amazingly juicy. The roasted sweet potato wedges (Camote) were also outstanding. Don't forget dessert - the coconut flan was to die for! Service - I believe our server's name was Alex, was on-point. He was knowledgeable about both the food and beverages, and did not rush us. Thank you La Maya for a great evening. I will definitely return.

You walk in, you are at the bar area,But, there is a hostess stand there if you are interested in grabbing a booth to order food. Which is what we have always done and is what we will now never do again because service from this 1 particular shorter waitress is awful. After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. When they finally did all move for a moment, I could finally feel the air circulation. This was only around 5:30pm. Service- still awful Food- great Atmosphere- depends what you're looking for

I had the pretzel bites and full-size Caesar salad, and it was more than enough food for me. The fried cheese was lightly breaded and served with a delicious garlic aioli. The cheese pull on these bad boys was insane! The wings were tender, but not crispy. The Nicky's Chicky sauce tasted like a normal BBQ sauce. After sampling all of the appetizers, I moved on to the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries and mac n' cheese. I didn't love the seasoning on the chicken sandwich, but the chicken itself was great quality and cooked to perfection. The fries were seasoned very well, but served lukewarm. The mac n' cheese was creamy, cheesy, and the noodles weren't overcooked like most places. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. I had potato soup, which was very good, and Ming had Beet Carpaccio, which was thinly sliced seared root veggies with seasoning. I only had a bite because she wanted it all! Then came dinner. The desserts were good, with a tasty chocolate cake and a peach cobbler that was good but could have had a bit of peach goo to moisten it a bit.
