Turns out they tell everyone who files a claim that you cannot prove the parts were bad and they won't cover the repair. I knew this was not an up and up dealership but I like the car I purchased. Now I have to try to get out of the extra for the bogus warranty...you cannot tell me they don't know that what they are selling is no good. stay away from this place!!!

In addition to the fact that the car requires investments(transmission, oil pan leak, rear rotors etc), which I found out about when signing the papers, the owner of the company Antonio said that with an installment plan for three months, their company will be listed on the title, but if I make a payment before August 8, the title will come with my name without adding their company to it. While at the dealer, I said that I would come and pay everything before August 8, since I do not want anyone to be listed on the title. Today, on August 5, I talked to Antonio, who, as it turned out, is also a finance manager. He said that they will check if they have already requested the Title, to which I said that I have three more days to make the payment, which I intend to make before August 7, since I do not want to see anyone in the title except me, but he began to explain to me with everyone that they send the documents in the first week, and perhaps the title already has their name and I will have to re-register it at my own expense. As a result, we had a conflict because they lied at the beginning regarding the payment until August 8. Also, this person systematically interrupted and I had to raise my intonation so that he would stop interrupting and start listening, which is extremely unprofessional on his part. The result of what came out: additional expenses for the car, lies during the transaction, incompetent behavior in the dialogue and incompetent attitude to the sale with added problems for the buyer. I do not think that I will recommend this dealer to anyone, rather I will voice it so that they avoid it. I will also add information to the reviews on how the situation was resolved so that people can soberly evaluate the work with this dealer. I will also add info on BBB, YELP, and other platforms to make sure people will be prepared

We've purchased 2 vehicles from Gene Pankey Motors and have been very satisfied with their service…read more Our last vehicle was a pickup truck purchased with the help of Craig, a true professional. No pressure and very helpful. Upon wanting to take a test drive, it was found that the truck had a faulty battery. Craig apologized and asked if we could come back in a few hours and it would be fixed. That left us time to look at trucks from other lots. When we returned, the truck had a new battery and we did a test drive, loved it and made the purchase. Multiple months later the battery failed under warranty. I couldn't find the battery paperwork and called Craig for a copy. He got back to me the same day and stated he couldn't find it either. He then told me to go to their associated repair shop several blocks away and he would pay for a new replacement battery! Now THAT is customer service and why we've purchased two vehicles from them. It'll be time to buy another vehicle soon and you can bet we'll return to Gene Pankey Motors and the great service that Craig offers! Personally, I've never had such great customer service at any other vehicle sales location. Gene Pankey Motors is THE place to buy quality pre-owned vehicles. I cannot recommend them any higher!

Painful process…read more The car I was interested in still needed some work but they allowed me to come in and test drive and were very pushy that I should buy the car. When I asked if I could put down a payment to reserve the car with the hopes they would fix it that week I was told they would just sell it to someone else. Ended up taking 5 days to get the car back during repairs. Was never offered a rental car or any alternative local mechanics. Asked my sales person if there was anything they could do and was told to talk to the mechanic and that the boss would call me. Never got a call. Had to drive 2 hours with a friend to pick the car up since I'm not local which was frustrating. Overall not a great buying experience would not recommend buying anything here that's not fully ready to drive off the lot. That being said they did do the repairs and the car seems to be running well. Will come and update this review in 8 months or so with how the car is doing.

When I visit, it feels like I've walked into their home uninvited and am disturbing their meal. When I talk, it feels like they're waiting for me to leave so I can get on with my business. At the very beginning, when I was signing up for a car loan, the staff was very polite. Later, my car was in an accident, and the insurance company declared it a total loss. That's when my real interaction with the staff at this OneMain branch began. On the first day, I needed a statement of my account balance. The staff was reluctant to answer my questions. The next time, I came with a check from the insurance company in my name and in the name of OneMain. It turns out this branch can't accept a check because it's not licensed to provide banking services. Why didn't they tell me this right away? I explained my situation the day I got my balance statement. Afterward, they sent me to another bank with a cashier's check. Naturally, the other bank couldn't help me, since the check had two names on it: mine and OneMain's. When I returned and politely asked for clarification and explanations, I was told to go outside because the staff had to leave immediately and were closing the premises. This was during the day, during business hours. As a result of the incomprehensible actions of the staff at this OneMain branch, I decided to pay off my loan in full and get a balance statement. So, today I paid off the entire loan in full and went to the branch to get the statement. The staff saw me parking my car and locked the front door right in front of me. I approached, extended my hand, and then the glass door closed. In response to my questions and requests to be seen, they replied that I should call the number on the paper and schedule an appointment. I was shocked. Three hours had passed. I was sitting in my car in front of the OneMain branch and couldn't get through to them. I urgently needed a certificate stating that my credit account was at zero dollars. I saw the staff calmly walking around the OneMain branch, and I didn't know what else I could do to resolve my problem. My entire interaction with the bank was calm and polite. I simply needed someone to clarify my situation. I have a large social circle, many friends and acquaintances. I promise that I will always discourage everyone from doing business with this bank.

What a weird interaction with this place…read more.. I've been looking for a new vehicle for months and have a very specific model in mind. They had it on their website at the "Car Pros Credit Care" location, so I submitted my contact info and was promptly responded to by early next morning. I had work that morning and couldn't get to any of them, but they called, texted, and emailed about me coming in to "see the car" all in the span of a few hours. Eventually, I responded back and set up an appointment. Autumn was very pleasant to speak with (over text/email). For some reason, she wanted me to go to the Car Pros KIA location and that she'd have the car sent over. The distance wasn't too far apart from each other, so I said, "Why not?" And agreed to an appointment at the Car Pros KIA location for the car I messaged about and not at the "Car Pro Credit" location that I originally inquired about. Come the day of the appointment, I made the 21-mile drive to the dealership and aimlessly walked around until I stumbled upon Moe, who I guess would be my salesman. Moe... very nice and delightful guy to speak with. I told him I was there for a certain car and he told me, "Oh, I don't think it's ready yet" and began trying to ask me questions to which was clear his intent was to get me to purchase a different car than the one I came in to see. Presumably, one that has been sitting on their lot for a while or something. I wanted to roll my eyes so hard. Then he leaves to "check it out," and after 5 minutes or so, he's gesturing me to come with him outside... We're walking around the building to a car to which he tells me to get in... I ask him where we're going, and he tells me "to the other lot where the car is." As he's pulling out and driving towards the exit, he starts telling me about reserving the car by putting $1000 down because it's a hot seller." Like sir, I know. That's why I want it. As he pulls out of the lot, he tells me the car isn't ready and I won't be able to test drive it today, but I should put $1000 down to reserve it. Lol, SIR, I will NOT be putting $1000 down to reserve a car that I haven't even driven. I immediately told him no and to bring me back before he went any further. We shook hands, and I gave him my contact info (at his request) so that when the car is "ready," he will let me know. I left and drove 21 miles back home. Honestly, the whole 10-15 minute interaction with them left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will not be returning to purchase a car. Obvious high-pressure sales tactics, and they reply so promptly only to fail to do their part in communicating such an important detail such as the car not being "ready." Also wanted to add in the fact that it almost felt like I was being kidnapped lol. Like why are you telling me to get into this car without telling me where we're going and why. "Let me go check on it," just to come back and be like, "Get in this car." And then why have me go to another location just to attempt to kidnap me to bring me to the original lot I inquired about?... Was that even a sales tactic? Jeez. All in all, I just wanted to buy a car. Wasn't looking to play your little games. You lost a sale.
