What a weird interaction with this place... I've been looking for a new vehicle for months and have a very specific model in mind. They had it on their website at the "Car Pros Credit Care" location, so I submitted my contact info and was promptly responded to by early next morning. I had work that morning and couldn't get to any of them, but they called, texted, and emailed about me coming in to "see the car" all in the span of a few hours. Eventually, I responded back and set up an appointment. Autumn was very pleasant to speak with (over text/email). For some reason, she wanted me to go to the Car Pros KIA location and that she'd have the car sent over. The distance wasn't too far apart from each other, so I said, "Why not?" And agreed to an appointment at the Car Pros KIA location for the car I messaged about and not at the "Car Pro Credit" location that I originally inquired about. Come the day of the appointment, I made the 21-mile drive to the dealership and aimlessly walked around until I stumbled upon Moe, who I guess would be my salesman. Moe... very nice and delightful guy to speak with. I told him I was there for a certain car and he told me, "Oh, I don't think it's ready yet" and began trying to ask me questions to which was clear his intent was to get me to purchase a different car than the one I came in to see. Presumably, one that has been sitting on their lot for a while or something. I wanted to roll my eyes so hard. Then he leaves to "check it out," and after 5 minutes or so, he's gesturing me to come with him outside... We're walking around the building to a car to which he tells me to get in... I ask him where we're going, and he tells me "to the other lot where the car is." As he's pulling out and driving towards the exit, he starts telling me about reserving the car by putting $1000 down because it's a hot seller." Like sir, I know. That's why I want it. As he pulls out of the lot, he tells me the car isn't ready and I won't be able to test drive it today, but I should put $1000 down to reserve it. Lol, SIR, I will NOT be putting $1000 down to reserve a car that I haven't even driven. I immediately told him no and to bring me back before he went any further. We shook hands, and I gave him my contact info (at his request) so that when the car is "ready," he will let me know. I left and drove 21 miles back home. Honestly, the whole 10-15 minute interaction with them left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will not be returning to purchase a car. Obvious high-pressure sales tactics, and they reply so promptly only to fail to do their part in communicating such an important detail such as the car not being "ready." Also wanted to add in the fact that it almost felt like I was being kidnapped lol. Like why are you telling me to get into this car without telling me where we're going and why. "Let me go check on it," just to come back and be like, "Get in this car." And then why have me go to another location just to attempt to kidnap me to bring me to the original lot I inquired about?... Was that even a sales tactic? Jeez. Had a wonderful experience at Car Pros Credit with Bella my salesperson, Jason the manager, and Jon who did the financing! The whole team worked diligently to find a car for me that was within my terms and budget. They were very courteous and engaging during the whole process. There was no high pressure sales and it was stress free. They really left all the decision to me, explained the financing very thoroughly and answered all my questions. Absolute scam of a business, went in for a vehicle and I test drove it to a service area. The car ended up having a cylinder 1 engine misfire which effects the engine. And low tire threads to replace the all 4 tires would cost $200-$800 and for the engine $100 at best to $3000 at worst. Tried charging $8,500 when the manager knew we were right and said in exact words "can we do $8,500 with no fixes?" Which told me he knew I was correct but he was also extremely hostile when speaking to me and entering the room. Terrible customer service from the manager. But Ray was really nice I'll give them that but trash service on cars. Please avoid at all cost go to a branded dealer for best car for your money like Toyota, or Honda. read more

I will never buy a vehicle from here. I thoroughly explained my situation, my credit, my self employment, everything. After being told I'd have a high down payment I decided now wasn't the time and I didn't want to damage my credit with an inquiry so I left. The rep called me and told me they could get the down payment lower if I just let them run the application. I was hesitant and again explained I'd recently quit my day job and began my self employment full time only 2 months prior-again I was told this wasn't an issue. A couple hours later I get a text asking me to add my husband to the app. I explained I would not do that. I did not want someone else's name on my vehicle. The same representative who told me my self employment wasn't an issue went back and said well because you've been self employed only 7 months we can't do it unless you add someone else- ALL INFORMATION THEY HAD PRIOR TO ME EVEn SUBMITTING AN APP. The only reason I put an app in was because I was assured it wasn't an issue. So now my credit is lower and nothing. South Tacoma Auto has better customer service and actually listens to my needs so I'll be going back to them for my next purchase and steering clear of Carpro's and their false promises. read more

I told Conner about my financial situation the moment I stepped on the lot but he still treated me as if I was shopping for a luxury vehicle. We figured out a price range within my means and he recommended a 2015 Kia Forte LX in great condition with low mileage. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and it's history and it all checked out on the CarFax report. He didn't try to up-sell me at all. I saw that he and Ed put a lot of effort into finding financing options and I really felt like a valued customer throughout the process. I originally was referred to the Renton Car Pros and before I could even step foot through the door, I received an email that said don't waste my time unless I have several thousand to put down on a trade. Well- another friend said to try the Tacoma shop instead. After speaking with Christine, the manager, she assured me they could get me out of my gas hog and into something more economical. I went in, was treated like a friend she has known forever, and walked out with my brand new car a few hours later. No money down. When I tell you she is amazing, believe it! High-pressure sales tactics. Salesman did not listen to my concerns and my grandpa, who was with me at the time to help so that I wouldn't get confused by these salesmen as I have by past ones, had to correct him multiple times as well. He (Kelvin) ran my credit through as many agencies as he could, creating an unreasonably heavy hit on my credit due to sheer number of inquiries. Kelvin's boss, Christina, was much more accommodating, took my concerns seriously, and helped me into my car. My temporary paper plate is now 11 days expired and I have yet to receive my proper license plates. In addition to that, emails began coming to my inbox in someone else's name. Completely unacceptable. Will not shop here again. Recommend against shopping here, but it does beat CarHop if you have bad credit. read more

I went to Car Pros pre-approved for a car loan through a reputable credit union. Car Pros kept pushing Car Pros credit on me instead stating they'd give me a better rate, WRONG they just had bad blood with the credit union that pre-approved me. Car Pros couldn't raise my interest rate like they previously did with the other car I purchased through them. Later I discovered a lot of financial institutions didn't renew their contract with Car Pros due to their customers having issues with Car Pros doing shoddy deals. read more

I was a first time buyer and they definitely lost a sale. Ronda the MANAGER, first would not directly talk to me about my process and the bank. Then tried to cover up one of the accidents the car was in, BUT I HAD THE CAR FAX TOO. This whole time she was rude and indirect with me. Then Ronda decided that she could try to call me out on how much I make. So at that point I got an attitude. My husband and I were looking for a car and I was very upfront with the "Top salesman" that greeted us that I had the worst credit in the USA due to a terrible divorce and moving across country from Michigan to Washington. I told him I dont want to waste his time or my time. He asked if I was working and I told him yes. At that point he assured me he would be able to put me in something 2013 or newer. I came back a week later and a young man greeted us. I told him we returned because of the promising conversation we had with his coworker.
