Denis, the finance manager, tried to get me in touch with the bank they finance through, Kitsap. Something between Denis and the bank got misconstrued because the bank was trying to run my credit 30 seconds into the call. After calling Denis back, we agrees to have me come in Friday, March 19th when I got off work. I arrived, was met by James. James was a very nice guy, listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions to the best of my ability. I let him know I was willing to work on the unmovable price if they addressed my concerns on the truck. I pointed out a leak and moisture collecting in the taillights. James assured me he would speak to Denis and get back to me Saturday or Monday. Saturday, nothing. Halfway through Monday, nothing. I texted Denis at 12:06 on Tuesday, the 23rd, then called and got his voicemail. I called the dealership, was transferred and he answered right away. His happy greeting quickly changed. He told me that him and James had not spoken so I relayed my findings to him, he said he will have a mechanic look at it and call me back in 20 minutes or so with some sort of update. I texted him again at 3:30 Tuesday to ask when I might expect to hear from him again in regards to the truck. I was told "hopefully sometime tomorrow morning" I texted Denis again Wednesday, 24th at 11:54 asking if he had heard anything. He calls back and says yes, the leak I had spotted was an oil gasket which was replaced but the truck had sold in the meantime. The communication here sucks. I feel like I was being avoided because if I got the luxury of a response, it was days or hours and hours later unless I called the dealership and was transferred directly.

However, I made the long drive to the dealership because I reasonably expected the final offer to be somewhere close to the estimate I was given. After arriving, I waited for over 90 minutes, only to receive an offer that was about 35% lower than what I had been told. When I questioned the huge difference, the salesperson immediately admitted that he had mixed up my information with another customer's. There wasn't even a moment of hesitation. What bothers me most isn't that a mistake was made--everyone makes mistakes. It's that the mistake was never corrected before I made the trip. If my information had already been mixed up, why wasn't I contacted before I drove all the way to the dealership and spent over an hour and a half waiting? To make matters worse, there was no sincere apology or acknowledgment that my time had been wasted. I understand that this is a large dealership and you probably have no shortage of customers, but customers also have choices. I wasn't asking anyone to do me a favor--I came because I relied on the information your staff provided. This is not the level of professionalism, communication, or respect for a customer's time that I would expect from a Toyota dealership. Our Experience With Dinsmore Auto Group-…read more Holly & Andrew Ball 2020 Jeep Sahara- We purchased a 2020 Jeep Sahara from Dinsmore Auto Group on 3/28/2025, and unfortunately, our experience has been deeply disappointing from the very beginning. We strongly recommend that anyone considering a purchase from this dealership take the time to read customer reviews carefully. What we experienced aligns with many of the unfortunate concerns already shared by others. Same pattern of behavior . We also attempted to address these issues directly with their upper management by emailing the General Manager Austin Dinsmore. That message received no response on any concerns we had with the process from start to finish. Which speaks volumes about the dealership's approach to customer concerns and post‑sale accountability. Our in‑person interactions with staff reflected the same pattern: dismissive communication, a lack of basic customer service, and no willingness to engage in respectful, solution‑oriented dialogue. Outside of Jesse in the service department all other interaction had from sales, finance department and direct service manager was aggressive and lacked basic customer service standards. Key Issues We Encountered- 1.Major mechanical failure within 48 hours of purchase. The Jeep developed a significant engine issue almost immediately, despite being driven for less than four total hours since purchase. Dual head gasket replacement upper oil pan reseal. Auxiliary and main battery replacement. 2.Dismissive communication. Our concerns were treated as an inconvenience rather than a legitimate safety and reliability issue. There was no acknowledgment of how this situation impacted our family. Or options to roll back the loan to put a customer in a reliable, safe vehicle. Not once did anyone individual raise any concerns on our behalf. Would we have been okay with a different vehicle? Would we have been willing to pay more for a more reliable vehicle with no underline mechanical issues which caused the vehicle to significantly depreciate. 3.Lack of transparency about repairs. The initial repair was completed without any explanation of what failed, what was repaired before being signed off on by the customer, or whether OEM parts were used. They treated the vehicle as though it was held hostage and still theirs. 4.No post‑repair guidance. After a dual head‑gasket replacement--a major engine repair--no one provided follow‑up instructions or information about what to expect. 5 A second repair was needed due to poor attention to detail. The vehicle threw new codes within 24 hours of being returned to us, requiring another service appointment. They were specifically asked to not do any repairs until we were informed and signed off on them. They ignored this request and made so called repairs. 6.Inconsistent and inaccurate communication. Different staff members gave conflicting information throughout the process. 7.Attempt to limit our consumer rights. When we raised concerns in writing, the dealership asked us to sign a "Goodwill Service" agreement that would have limited their liability and restricted our rights under Washington State's Implied Warranty of Merchantability. This felt less like support and more like an attempt to silence legitimate concerns. This was done after the fact. When the vehicle was retrieved on the so called second repair. And backed dated to the initial mechanical failure less then 48 hours after the purchase. 8. When the customer's refused to sign this last minute attempt to silence them under significant distress. We were told no further repairs or concerns would be addressed on their behalf . Mind you they back their so called repairs with a 12,000 mile 12 month policy which they could not provide us with or clearly articulate where that was at . Or simply put that in writing on the " GOODWILL AGREEMENT " which they wish for us to sign with no recourse. We hope our experience sheds some light for future customers.

Recently bought a pre-owned 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L from Lexus of Tacoma at Fife, trusting their…read morereputation for quality. That was a massive mistake. The air conditioning completely failed within 24 hours of driving the car off the lot. After taking it to a Honda dealership they discovered a completely failed compressor shaft seal and a heavily leaking AC discharge hose. It is highly suspicious that the AC worked perfectly during the brief test drive, strongly suggesting the dealership simply recharged the refrigerant right before showing the car to mask a known, pre-existing issue OR just looked the other way at the leak. When I brought this to their attention, the response from management (GM: Frank Lee and Sales Director: Michael Spektor) were completely dismissive. They hid behind "as-is" paperwork to avoid covering the $800 repair bill for a component that failed immediately. If their multi-point inspection failed to catch an active AC leak, they are completely incompetent; if they knew about it and chose not to disclose it, they are dishonest. But don't worry you get your first oil change free here because everyone is so nice here - just not when they need to pay. Not to mention on our first drive out, the splash guard at bottom fell out the bottom while going 70MPH on I-5, you can only image what they would refuse if it had hit someone or caused an accident. Not inspected I'm guessing Once they have your money, they do not care about selling a functional vehicle or respecting your boundaries. Do yourself a favor and buy your next vehicle elsewhere.

The parts guy said nope you have to pay extra to talk to me for my expertise, and they wouldn't make that order available for a couple of days. That is one hell of a markup, just talk to some guy with a wad of chew in his mouth and tell him exactly what I needed. So I'm gonna go ahead and do my best to make sure the revenue from my friend that gets car serviced there, is zero.
