Asked for a half chocolate and vanilla "swirl" ice cream cone. Turns out chocolate was too runny. They asked if I wanted a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate instead. I said sure. After 5-6 mins, this is what I got. A catastrophic cone that landed inside an unexpected cup. If the girls weren't too busy socializing instead of working, I might have received a nicely dipped cone. Very disappointed in this place I use to love. I ordered a simple grilled cheese sandwich which the cheese was not even melted, also ordered a kids meal plain hamburger with absolutely nothing on it but the burger and bun which when I opened it had all condiments and pickles (my daughter would not eat so that's was a waste of $5). So I'll have to agree.. relying on them to get your order correct is slime to none unfortunately even on the simplest order! I do have to say they did at least get the correct flavor of the shakes I ordered and the onion rings were really good. Overall though Another disappointment. I have been coming here for several months now, I absolutely love their fish and chips and their shrimp basket and fries. Everything is so delicious, I really enjoy the food. I seen other comments about the prices, but I think it is priced accordingly, and me and my family enjoy coming here; and my friends as well. I can go on and on about this place, but the staff are awesome, very friendly, outgoing and they really make sure your order is ready and correct. The inside is also clean and they also have a drive thru as well. If you like fish and chips and also shrimp I recommend trying them, also their burgers are always good and taste delicious. Ok, I get most people wouldn't love this place. My husband didn't the first time, but it grew on him. It never had to grow on me because I grew up on paces! From layton and loved going to that location when I was younger and all through high school. When I got married I moved to syracuse and was always sad how far away it was. Enter clearfield location! Yes! All the memories. The thin burgers, the greasy yummy nastolgic fries and tots, and perfecty battery onion rings and the amazing ice cream! And don't get me started on the prices! if I could give them zero stars I would. they claim they are open until 9:30 I went in there at 8:30 on my way home to get dinner and they literally refused me food said they closed the grill and fryer down already. like what in the actual f*ck. all I got told was "unfortunately we can't make any food" "but you can buy a popsicle" it's f*cling freezing outside stupid why would I want a popsicle, I wanted dinner at a place that wasn't suppose to be closed for another hour.. I would only recommend coming here for the rainbow. Rainbow - super delicious. Best thing ever. Large tot- cooked well, size of order seemed more along the lines of a small/medium. Fry sauce - tastes good. We paid for two, only received one. Pastrami burger - tasted okay. Bun was pancake in depth and kinda meh. Pastrami itself was nothing special. The burger is "quarter thin" as the other reviews have said. I didn't even know they made them this thin. Cheese burger with bacon -it took me back to my childhood days of a plain burger at McDonald's. There really wasn't much; just a thin bun, micro-thin burger patty, cheese, catchup and some bacon to make it more worthy for an adult. Service was good. read more

Great burgers, OK sides, and good shakes. The make their burger patties thin, in order to be able to cook them quickly. So you get two patties on a normal burger, and four patties on a double burger. The result is that you get some great flavor because the patties have that caramelization and you get double the goodness. I had the onion rings and I can't say I was impressed but I'm an onion ring snob, so take my onion-ish opinion with a grain of salt. I got a Snickers shake, which was pretty darn good and not too large. Staff was friendly, but not overbearing. They bring the food to your table after you order, which is a nice touch. Y'all have GOT to try this place. Upon first entering this incredibly clean and friendly establishment, I was warmly greeted by one of their employees. So warmly in fact that I was caught off-guard. The employees behind the counter were also incredibly warm and kind. Now, about the food: The burgers are HUGE. If you're thinking of hitting up one of those other fast-food burger joints, don't go there; come here instead! I had the country burger which was the size of 2 Schmuck Schmonald's burgers combined. It was burger love at first bite. The fries were perfectly crisp without being greasy and the fry sauce was perfection. The custard-based shakes are also to die for. My only regret is that this location is so close to my home, which means I'll be forced to practice willpower to not eat here every week. But boy, will my cheat days be worth it! read more

Our all-time favorite spot! The food is always so fresh, the prices are very reasonable, and everything is delicious! We come AT LEAST once a week! I have ordered their cheeseburger since I was a little girl, my husband loves the Country Burger, and my toddler loves their corndogs. You can't go wrong with the fries, tater tots, or onion rings. All are yummy. And they have homemade fry sauce that is so good too. If you're a soda fan, this will be your new favorite spot! One of the employees told me that they keep their syrups a little bit higher than the recommended amount, making them a little more syrupy and thick. I promise it will be the most delicious Coke you'll ever have. The Clearfield and Layton locations are the best. If you have been to the Bountiful location and didn't love it, give the Clearfield and Layton locations a try to change your mind. The Bountiful location has a different owner, has higher prices, and the food is not nearly as good and is almost always cold by the time you get it. I tell everyone and their dog about my love for these two Pace's locations. Try it and you'll fall in love! read more

I am so disappointed! I love their food. But I had the worst experience tonight. Ordered my food, paid for food, received food (country burger w cheese, small fry and 2 kid cones). Left, ate a couple fries on the way home ( I live a mile away), (not as fresh as usual but whatever) realized they didn't give my CC back so turned around before I even got home. Went back through the drive thru told them they didn't give me my card back and the fries were not fresh. Lady at the window gave me my card and when I told her my fries were not very fresh she took them from me and then talked with cook or manager ( not sure) brought them back and told me I would have to pay for new fries. When I told her they were not fresh when I got them she took them back to the pass through and then put them in a bag and handed me them ( what I assume to convince me they were fresh new fries). Looked in the bag realized they were the same and put all of my order back on their window and asked for a refund. What I assume was the manager came to the window and told me ( after they collected all the food from the ledge of the window) and told me that after 15 minutes the fries would not be fresh, ( remember, I live less than a mile away and did not make it home before I realized I did not have my CC) after ten minutes he was asking the crew if they gave my card back of which I was the one that told him yes, I gave him my card to put the refund on it and when he handed it back he told me he charged me for the fries bc I ate some, SOME, of them! So I got a partial refund, no dinner or treat for my doggos and horrible customer service! I hope the "actual manager" will see the problem with the service I received! I also went into the store to get the day managers name and the employee told me he didn't know it!! read more

We eat here quite a bit, really disappointed today, husband ordered double burger with fry sauce only and got home and it was a reg burger with pickles, mustard & ketchup. I threw away a bun and a patty as i am allergic to pickles. How do you make a double burger, separate the original patty to make a double, patties super thin with holes. Food was cold and soggy. We used to go here religiously and now I'm pretty sure we will never go back. The other day they ran out of meat, with a grocery store behind them and hours before close it wasn't a valid excuse, they should have just closed! Then last night employees were mingling with teenagers inside and out trying to complete the gallon milk challenge, were you chug a gallon of milk and ultimately it makes you throw up then during our second order for ice cream they kept saying the card wouldn't go through, so we logged into our account, there was plenty of money and the multiple transactions were showing as they have gone through. This is my go to fast food hamburger restaurant! It's way better than any of the national chain fast food places. We love their country cheeseburgers, fries, and ice cream. They have awesome fry sauce too! If you are craving fast food you should definitely try it out. read more
