    Replaced a radiator just like OEM. The price was best value and easy to pick up at the orange location. Receptionist was polite and helpful.

    They've got the parts when the other places have problems getting it. Friendly service and they remember who you are.

    I leave honest reviews, and this one needs to be said. I bought a blind spot mirror less than two…read moreweeks ago, showed the employee exactly what I wanted, and still ended up being sold the wrong product. It's completely unusable at night. I tried to return it with the mirror and the receipt. The only thing missing is the box. One employee told me to come back when the manager was there, and then the manager said they "can't take it back without the box." Two different answers, no real help. So now I'm out almost 20 bucks. Pretty disappointing and unprofessional, especially from a place I've spent plenty of money at.

I came in recently looking to buy a new battery and asked if they can replace the battery for me (says on the website that they do free installation with purchase- maybe I read wrong), female employee (wore thick glasses) looks at me strangely and says she doesn't know and asked her coworker if he can install the battery, the male gives a hesitant yes and then walks away. Minutes later the female tells me they can't do it and that I need to bring the car to a car shop to replace the battery because they need to reboot the car computer system. Huh?. . I miss the good ole days where the Autozone employees gladly offered to help and had better customer service. I'm old.

    I took my car to Pep Boys for an alignment adjustment because my car was pulling to the left. I…read moretalked to Diego in the morning and he seemed professional. After the alignment, I test drove the car and the car was pulling so far to the right that it was possibly unable to operate and a danger to the road. I needed to have my steering wheel at the 11 o'clock degree in order to drive straight. The alignment was worse after the job was completed. I met Diego again and expressed my concern. Diego then claimed that it was my tire wear and that I will need to purchase new tires, which was incorrect and a scam. He tried to sell me new tires. I took it to Toyota, my dealership, and talked with the advisor. The advisor and I called Pep Boys on the phone to discuss that it had nothing to do with my tire wear, but rather an alignment issue. Diego, my advisor, and I talked back and forth over the phone and I requested to speak to someone higher in charge. Diego stated that there is no available manager. During the conversation over the phone, Diego proceeded to hang up on me, which was unprofessional. I proceeded to take the vehicle to Firestone to measure my alignment after Pep Boys. The top diagram in the photo is my measurement after Pep Boys, where Diego claimed that the alignment is straight. After Firestone, my car was driving fine, which showed that it had nothing to do with my tires nor my tire wear. Also, over the phone, Diego called me by my first name. I work in the customer service field as well, and would never refer to a customer by their first name. I will not be returning to this business and would like to warn customers about possible alignment scams.

    I was hoping to drive here after work to get some 0w-16 oil on sale as they seemed to be the only…read moreNAPA place in stock on-site based on their website (their store said it'll be ready in 30 minutes while all other stores said "tomorrow" or "today"... and no, "today" apparently does not mean it's on-site. You still got to order it online because I went to one to said it was ready today and find that I still needed to order online because it's not in stock...? So did you have it or not, NAPA El Monte ?) Website also said that they closed until 6pm. I try to get out of my way to finish and leave work earlier than usual and got there around 545pm... only to find out that it was closed. Turns out on Google maps, they just recently updated their hours to 5:30pm. I don't know if individual NAPA shops can just willy-nilly change their hours and not follow the main NAPA website hours... if they can, that's fine, but that means they're never be getting my business again for the waste of time they caused me. I ranted with my friend about it and he said his father and him always seemed to have gotten a bad experience at other NAPA stores... so yeah, I'm just going to order their stuff online and ship it to my place from now on.
