The tech left and told me that the fixtures were not functioning and would need to be diagnosed with another visit. I was given a quote for 1100 dollars to fix the issue. I called Premo and Sergio sent over 2 techs within the hour. They were able to resolve the issue in half an hour. They were polite and professional. It was a simple fix and it cost me $350 vs 1100. I would highly recommend Premo for their fast service, good pricing, and competent technicians. So happy to have used them!!!

Long version: Romo took almost 2 months to complete my project of replacing the subpanel, adding a 20 amp circuit, and repairing any damaged drywall. He and his team cancelled/ no showed on my tenant more than 5 times and was super unresponsive when scheduling. My tenant had to live in a home with holes in the walls for almost a full month before it was finally repaired. The business operates very shadily. I have asked for a receipt for my payment numerous times, and he still has not provided one. I had to pay him in 3 separate transactions via zelle because his bank kept rejecting my payments. I'm not sure how this business has a 4.8 rating on Yelp, but will not be trusting those reviews from now on.

I went to most of the usual haunts - various lighting stores, department stores, even Ikea on someone's suggestion. While there was some OK stuff, I found nothing that wowed me. Doing another web search, I found Urban Lighting and made it down to the store. As nice as the pieces looked online, they even looked better in person. The staff let me know I could browse around at my leisure and to let them know if I had any questions. After looking at a few, I inquired about the pricing and found them a good value. Yeah, some were out of my budget, but I also found some that were in my range and very nice. Mark was extremely helpful in getting my order placed, and his recommendation of using Electric Green to install the light was a great choice. I know I'll be back when I'm redoing some other fixtures around the house, and can't wait to see what really cool items they have to show me. So if you're decorating a dorm room, this probably isn't the place. If you're decorating a home, though, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

Licata was the ONLY company I contacted that would actually give me a price up front - everyone else wanted to come out for a service charge, look at the project, and tell me what it was going to run (NOT a great way to run a business, imho...but I digress). One of their electricians, Jacob, came out on the scheduled day - on time, no less, took a look at the project, and went to work. He laid down blankets to capture any crud from the removal of the old fan, and got the new one installed and running quickly. He then cleaned up, made sure everything was working correctly, and went on to the next job. With service like that, when it came time to hang four more fans (three of them replacements), I contacted Licata again, and once again, got a price up front - and once again, Jacob was the electrician assigned. Now having some familiarity with the new fans (smart, voice controlled, big LED lighting), he installed all four in just over the time he took to do the original one (keeping in mind that one WAS on a vaulted ceiling). And once again, he cleaned everything up, made sure everything was working correctly, and headed off to his next project. Bottom line, Licata Electric deserves their 5 star rating - by far the best experience I've had with electricians, period.
