After several stops into this store and dealing with indifferent, borderline rude and incompetent service, I have to recommend avoiding this shop altogether. Latest experience was today (after having called them yesterday to check on MTB inventory and being told to come on in) I find they have nothing in stock. Whoever I engaged with seemed to truly not give a rats ass about knowing what I might be interested in buying and perhaps ordering from their suppliers, e.g. Specialized. What a bunch of ass clowns here. Hard to see how they stay in business. read more

Purchased bike rack from them and they installed free. I went back weeks later as I couldn't figure out how to adjust seat due to changes from install. They were closed but guy saw me, care outside and cheerfully adjusted seat to correct height showing name along the way. Not cheapest place to buy but service is well worth the price. read more

Pac Bike and Ski rechecked the tension on my rear road bike wheel and retentions it to make it right! They are now open in Duvall on the west side of the Main Street through town. Sadly, I had another option for repair that I had already checked out but figured "what the heck, I'll give local business a try". Wrong decision. Brought bike in first week of May. Went in last week after PB&S had my bike for a few days with no phone call, they were working on it..still. Asked for an additional service..."sure, no problem", couldn't do it that day, had to order the part. Waited...waited...waited...More than a week later, I called them..."oh, yeah, it's done". Went in to pick up bike, service was not performed as promised. In total, a little over two weeks for a basic service, ended up paying full price for poor customer service. I'll go to the other guys next time.... read more

Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They can help you with whatever bike issue you're having. I had two bikes I was trying to restore, and the guys here were able to get me the information and basic parts I needed. Don't know much about the "& Ski" part of the store. Sadly, this place would be 5 stars if not for the prices. Now, I know it's an independent bike store and repair place, and that it's the only one of its kind up here on the Plateau. Obviously, the prices will be higher. But $50-80 for a colored manual bike pump? I got the same basic one at FM for $18-20. But, they stock high-end, quality parts, so you get what you pay for? I'd definitely come back for any bike problems and parts, and for that new helmet. read more

I wish there was an option of 0 star. Very unprofessional owner. I gave my brand new bike for wheel alignment. The front wheel was wobbling and hitting the brake pads while the rear wheel had a minor wobbling. The person who took the bike asked for $25 for each wheel alignment and brakes. When I returned to pick the bike, I was asked to pay $80. The person (different than the one who took the bike for repair) mentioned that he is charging $30 for front wheel alignment and he did not do any rear wheel alignment as he thought it was fine. On top of this, he charged an additional $25 for each wheel brake alignment. I asked to connect to the person who took the bike to clarify the situation and the store owner refused to do so. He continued to stick to the point that the bike was taken for fixing brakes only and wheel alignment is over and above this, but not willing to get this resolved by contacting the other staff who took this work order. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

The staff here is knowledgeable, friendly, and easy going. I was able to demo a bunch of mountain bikes for my wife and I. After each demo I was able to discuss the pros and cons of the bike with the staff. I was able to take my time making a choice and eventually purchased a bike for my wife and for myself. If you're more than just a casual skier, there are better ski shops for you(sturtevants, evo etc..). Got boots fitted here which ended up being 2 sizes too big for me and had to get new ones after only a year due to the pain they caused let alone risk for injury. Boot tech at evo was astonished that I could ski 40+ days while wearing boots way too big for me. Also got a ski tune which was a little pricey relative to an average ski tune. The turn around time was about a week when evo gets them done in 2 days every time. Have gotten bikes tuned and tires replaced for reasonable price however. This is definitely more of a bike shop rather than a ski shop. read more

If you are looking new bike then Pacific Bike is the place for you. I actually bought my first road bike from Paul when he was working at another bike shop nearby. So I was very excited when I found out that he bought Pacific Bike and is fairly close to where I live. A week ago, I was in the market for a mountain bike and emailed Paul. He answered my email right away and even called me up to discuss details about the bike on his day off. That is what I call customer service. He truly means it when he said he will do anything to earn your business and make you a customer for life. As for the shop itself, it has everything you will need for your road and mountain biking needs. They even carry kids bike and scooter for the kids. I really like how the shop is setup so you can sit at the counter and chat with Paul and his employees while they work on your bike. It makes time pass by really fast. The place has got a real nice neighborly vibe to it, which I believe is Paul's intention when he opened his shop. I can't wait to come back in the Fall when they have their ski stuff back. But in the mean time I will be enjoying my new mountain bike. read more

I purchased my Specialized bike from the Duvall store a couple months ago. I really like to support local business. I found the same bike in Woodinville for $150 less but decided it was worth it for local economy. My husband came in to look at bikes in Duvall and try one out around 3:30 on a Sunday. He wanted to make sure his back could handle the upright riding before committing to buying one. They close at 5:00 and charged him $50 rental fee to try a bike out! They can't rent by the hour? And the salesperson was borderline rude. Sorry to say I simply can't recommend this store. read more

Don't shop there if you are a woman Don't shop there unless you REALLY know what you want and don't have to rely on their "advice" I just really don't like this place. I wish it was palatable, I bike, I ski, but the attitude is unacceptable as is the pressure to buy something you don't need because that is all they have or for more money. They are just 5 minutes down the road but I'll drive anywhere else to get a part or service. I know biking and skiing VERY well. I raced road and track for years back in the day,thousands of miles on the bike. I was an executive producer for the '96 Olympic Trials for Cycling, have 10 bikes in the garage for track, road, TT, Mt and downhill. For skiing, I raced as a kid and in college, taught skiing for 25 years, raced Masters spanning 20 years,my kids raced for 10 and 12 years. Why the resume? Because they need to know that when they see an overweight grey haired man in their store, they shouldn't assume he's an idiot and knows nothing about biking or skiing. No need to be condescending, that grey haired idiot might know a little something. I have been in there a couple of times this year: 1. I saw a sale sign for skis in the spring and went in to look. I'd like to buy some pow skis for my daughter and asked if he had a certain size in a particular ski. He asked who they were for and I told him it was my daughter and I got the condescending smirk and his telling me I was oversizing her. I started to tell him that she was a racer and I was interrupted with his telling me how people get skis too long blah blah. My daughter skis like a linebacker hits running backs. She skis with power and speed, stronger than 99.99% of any dude on the hill. Find out what your customer is looking for and why, maybe you will learn something. Hell, even if your customer *is* wrong, no reason to give the douchey condescending attitude. Or, most likely, you were being condescending to shame me into buying the wrong size, because that is the size you had, that is the height of douchebaggery. The conversation didn't last any longer, I left. 2. We were going to go on a ride and realized my wife's bike had pedals and straps and we just wanted to get some cheap flat pedals for the ride. Then my daughter could ride the bike after that etc. Before we left, my wife took a picture of the crank thinking it would help the shop guy identify what she needed, great idea. We went in and there's a guy working in the back and some shop rat dude hanging out by the back. We tell the guy working on the bike that we are looking for some pedals, I said "I'm looking for some cheap plastics flats for a knock around bike, nothing fancy". He asks if we know what size pedal it takes and my wife, feeling proud of her resourcefulness pulls out her phone, holds it up and says "I took a picture". Now douchebag starts literally laughing at her and says to the effect "A picture"? [laughter], "you can't tell threading by a picture, I'd have to see it first hand" [shaking head, glancing "knowing" look at shop rat, more subtle laughter]. All the while squeezy shop rat dude busts up laughing, looking at my wife, just saying "a picture". I tell him I don't know what the size is, but I'm sure it's standard, show us what you have. I remind him that we are just looking for a pair of cheap plastic flat pedals. They don't have those, but that didn't dissuade the dude from trying to sell me a pair WITH toe clips and straps for somewhere in the mid $30 range. I remind him that I only want flat pedals, he condescendingly says "you know you can take the straps and clips off". Hey douchebag, that is why we are there, because we already have pedals with straps/clips. I could have taken those off the ones at home. You are telling me to buy the same thing I have, then throw part of it away... I want big flat pedals with more contact area than the ones on the bike or the ones you are now trying to sell me. We are done, we leave. We drive down to good 'ol Redmond Cycle and an older guy, I'm assuming an owner asks us what he can help us with. I tell him we are looking for cheap flat pedals for a bike, my wife holds up the picture on her phone and immediately he says with a smile "Oh, Shimano LX, Shimano is 9/16th, let me show you what we have". He takes us to the pedals and points out the cheapest ones. Doesn't try to upsell us or sell us something we don't want just to pad his pocket. We buy the perfect pair for the job for a little over $9. THAT is how it's done Mr. Pacific Bike douchebag. As I mentioned, I know a bit about bikes and my friends know that, they ask me advice all the time. I can tell you that any business who makes fun of my wife and openly laughs at her, will never have my business and I will go out of my way to tell people not to go there. Go to Redmond Cycle or Element Cycles in Redmond if you need to buy a bike or parts, they will sell you what you "need", not what they "have". They are both awesome. read more

It is very unfortunate that this place has broken my trust. I moved here about 18 months ago and do a lot of skiing/mountain biking. In addition, I love supporting local bike shops...but this will not be one of them:( Unfortunately, my son/grandfather had to go into the business to get my sons bike fixed for a race that was coming up. I feel they took advantage of the situation and a $35 fix has now turned into over $130 and I had to do the final install!! I read on google reviews that somebody felt the same thing happened to them and then Pacific Bike asked for him to give them a chance to make it right...I did give that chance, but still feel things were not made right. Story: I was on vacation and my son stripped his shifter lever on a SRAM XO. He went into the bike shop and was sold one X9 SRAM shift lever and it was installed for about $130. If anybody knows, the X9 is a big black shifter and looks nothing like an XO...so it looks terrible. During the installation, the mechanic stripped the front deralieur...so I was told I needed a new one. There response was that it was tightened to specs. So, when I returned, I figured out what was broken on the bike and ordered the part from Amazon for $35 (what should've been done from the beginning). When I called the store to complain that I felt my son was taken advantage of, he stated that he is not allowed to order those parts. Unfortunately, he also feels that telling the customer to go to Amazon to order a $35 part is not the right thing when facing a sale of $130:( To make things right, I was told to return the X9 shifter and the would not charge me anything for the deralieur. Well, I just went to the store and they told me it would take 3 days to install the part, so now I am left to install it because my son has a race. I guess it is just icing on the cake. In sort: -The real fix for my bike was a $35 lever that was ordered from Amazon that is installed by one bolt and less than 5min. -Instead, I was sold $130 X9 shifter and a deralieur that broken during a process that did NOT need to happen. -I am not left with installing a $50 X7 SRAM (I couldve got on Amazon). Pacific Bike, this is not the type of customer trust you guys should be breaking. You really need to make sure that you are providing a service that people dont need to be experts at to make sure they were not taken advantage of. I gave a 2 star because I at least was able to get the X7 SRAM component. read more

I had the day off and planned to rent a bike to check out something new.  Pacific bike had a slick setup, the rentals are all listed and reserved on line with the pickup and drop are dialed for COVID.  All was going well until I got to the top of the hill and dropped in on the fist steep descent.  It was unnerving when the rear brake lever pulled all the way to the bars and lost all power.  I was able to limp down the hill with one brake and make it back safely but it wasn't the fun ripper I had planned.  I brought the bike back to the shop and let them know what happened and was surprised when they showed no concern for my safety or the fact that their rental bike had a significant mechanical issue.  The mechanic's response was "at least you had one brake".  I asked if I would be receiving a credit and was again surprised by the response "no, mechanicals happen".  I said thank and I let them know I would follow up with my credit card company about the defective rental. I get it, mechanicals do happen and they can't always be prevented but I would expect a rental company to stand by their product.  I can't imagine renting a car, having the brakes go out and the rental company saying, "Sorry but at least the motor worked so you'll still be charged the full price".  Very poor customer service. read more

I went to get a bike fit since my right knee was bothering me going up stairs. When I got there Myk asked if I had any previous injuries. After I told about them, he started checking how I pedaled, etc. He adjusted my cleats, put in some orthotics, and adjusted my seat height. I was impressed by Myk's knowledge and experience as he told me about physiology and how things are all connected. It's still a bit early and I haven't done rides longer than five miles, but so far I am happy with no pain in the knee. read more

I took my old Cannondale road bike to be paired physically with my new Bluetooth trainer. I had been having problems with gear changes while it was on the trainer. They quoted I needed a regular tune-up of the bike, an $80 service, but when I picked it up, they only charged me $28 and they fixed the gear that hasn't worked in a while that moves the chain from the large gear wheel to the smaller one. Now I can ride my trainer smoothly. read more

I was there on Sunday 5/21 at 4:20pm. No other customers were there in the store, and three male employees were there. I was there for at least 5 min looking at bikes and they kept chatting about some wedding. I wanted to buy a decent road bike and start training for STP, but none of them even said "hello" to me. Went there looking for my first road bike and they didn't have the one I wanted. It was all find until he recommended me a different bike that costs more and it's worse than the bike I'm looking for; not to mention that he also told me it's slightly better than the one I was looking for. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Pacific is a great bike shop with an excellent staff. I've bought two MTBs and a bunch of accessories from them and I've been very happy with the level of service they provide. They carry high-quality gear which is pricey but worthwhile if you are willing to make the investment. The staff are all passionate about biking and want their customers to find the same joy in the sport. Their weekly group rides have enabled me to explore the area's extensive MTB trails, while the ride leaders (shouts out to Tyler and Phil!) are patient with the fact that I'm not the fastest or most aggressive rider. Somehow I thought I had purchased skis with my boots at the end of last season. Remembered I had not as I was packing up to go skiing. Other ski shops were completely out of rentals my size. Pacific had my size but discovered that their rental bindings didn't go small enough to fit my tiny boots. They re-drilled holes and adjusted the bindings to fit my boots. Gave them a fresh buffing and wax and sent me on my way. Really appreciate them going the extra mile. They could have told me to purchase or that they didn't have a rental that would work. read more
