I loved this place. Second time here and both times the food was excellent. This time I tried the special roll, spider roll. It had crab, tuna, cucumber, avocado, unagi sauce and I don't remember what else. Delicious! I also tried the chicken lettuce wrap and they were great too. House Cabernet pretty good. .

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever! All of their food is outstanding. Especially the special crunch roll, fried rice and hibachi.

Perhaps it was…read morebecause we dined in the middle of May on a chilly, but sunny evening, but the gorgeous place was empty. The Commodore is a beautiful restaurant. Completely redone by the experienced folks with the Bartolotta Group, the space is a knock-out! My spouse and I arrived early and grabbed some drinks at the expansive bar overlooking the lake. The staff was warm and engaging, and I'm difficult, asking tons of questions and making irreverent comments. They rolled along, laughing and adding to our good time. I'm always wary in Lake Country, because my politics and affect differ from the majority, but the Commodore makes no distinctions. When our friends arrived, we grabbed a table and had a fantastic meal. Our Wiener Schnitzel was great, and our friends raved about the Beef Wellington. Service at the table was professional and well-trained. Maybe because I travel and have lived in several metropolitan areas, I found the prices more than reasonable for the gestalt experience. In fact, I think the Commodore is one of the best restaurants in the Milwaukee Metro. Bravo!

Other evenings throughout Lent will support different organizations. For $30 we enjoyed a wide-ranging buffet which included clam chowder, salad, potato pancakes, fish tenders, small red potatoes, pearl carrots, and a variety of desserts. We took our time and enjoyed each course, and also the ability to have easy conversations in a nicely quiet room. The Old Fashioned drinks were done well, and the entire evening was very nice. The fish buffet was held upstairs with a beautiful view of Nagawicka Lake. The tables are spaced apart nicely and the service was attentive. There is an elevator for those who need accessibility, as well as restrooms that are spacious for wheelchair access. There is plenty of parking.

Looking around as we were deciding on what to order, everything that was being delivered to tables around us, looked delicious! Tried the 3 for $35 weeknight special, which included an appetizer, entree and dessert. My bruschetta appetizer was fresh and loaded with plenty of tomato. Loved the pesto on top. For the entree, I went with their famous Rigatoni Bolognese, and it mostly lived up to the hype. For dessert, I had to try the creme brulee. It was carmalized nicely and the custard was delicious, but it could have benefited from some additional fruit toppings or something else to push it above ordinary. All in all, it was a fun night with friendly service and some pretty tasty classic Italian dishes.

Great place for a special occasion, but they don't hit it out of the ballpark every time...maybe 4 out of 5 (hence 4 stars). The food at Palmer's has always been very good. My wife and I have only ever had steak here as entrees. My go to is a med-rare ribeye and my wife always goes with a mid-well filet butterflied (I know, I know...shaking my head as I type that). They also have a really good tomato and fresh mozzarella salad that is a great starter (the balsamic is what makes it stand out). Service here is pretty spot on the majority of the time and all of the people that we have interacted with have been friendly. It can get relatively loud if you are sitting in the main dining room area, and this is where we have always been seated.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and inviting. Bryant's is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding or small celebration, and having the outdoor seating area open gave guests another beautiful space to gather and enjoy the evening. The food was absolutely outstanding. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the appetizers - especially the incredible seafood and cream cheese appetizer with sweet chili sauce - and everything from the creamy risotto to the stuffed chicken was delicious and beautifully prepared. It was one of those meals people were still talking about long after dinner was over. What made the evening especially memorable, though, was the hospitality. Everyone was genuinely kind, friendly, and personable, making us feel less like customers and more like family. The owner was so gracious and even shared how much he appreciated my dad, which meant a great deal to our family. At the end of the night, they carefully boxed up all of the leftovers for us to pick up the next morning, and when we returned, we were greeted with smiles and hugs.
