Ended up here when our fish fry place was too busy. What a gem! It's a small plate, tiny old world tavern with trendy updates. Very pleased with the vibe and appreciative of the gorgeous Christmas decor that was still up. All of our food was delicious and plentiful but the stars were the spinach risotto, creamy and slightly but perfectly al dente. The beer cheese soup was tangy and delicious but the chocolate Guinness peanut butter cake!!OMG I'm still thinking about it! Background music was wonderful, service was friendly and efficient. Menu is amazing, I'm wishing I lived closer and could try it all. I really enjoyed the Brie appetizer and the key lime pie!

It wasn't the Bryant's of old. French onion soup was still good but the lime shrimp cilantro taco special was meh at best. Tiny, rubbery, tasteless shrimp in dried corn tacos with a heavy dose of cilantro and do it yourself lime slices. For $18, Taco Bell is more flavorful. I thought when the second restaurant was bought that Bryant would bring it up to the quality of BOTR but instead the quality of On The Round went down to meet the other's low standard. We enjoyed the creative dishes on the menu. Unfortunately the chicken dish was over cooked, the pot pie was good, but lacked seasoning IMO, I was wishing there was salt and pepper on the table. The crab Rangoon dip was the star of the show. The service was great until the place got busy and our waiter disappeared for way too long. With that said the over all experience was 80% positive, and we will return to sample more of the menu. Except next time I'll get there earlier to beat the rush. read more

Although Bryant's is a small restaurant, it does not cram a bunch of tables together, which is a lot more comfortable. For this reason, I would recommend a reservation. If you do have to wait for a table, however, it is well worth it. The atmosphere is classy casual. It would be a great place for a first date. The food is excellent, presented beautifully, and it comes out quickly. It was refreshing to see a menu with some more creative dishes on it. Our server was attentive and polite. I thought Bryant's was awesome! Nice menu, food was great, but what sets them apart is the staff. Everyone was very friendly and on top of cleaning the table off and checkin in. The Brussel sprout cakes stood out the most and the key lime pie was amazing! We will be back to try more soon! read more

Mediocre expierence at best. I had high hopes after reading the reviews but I don't think the reviewers really get out. We started with the Brussels Sprouts cakes and they were very salty. The sauce was even more salty and it was drenched. The Mac and cheese was better but nothing fancy. We ordered this special of calamari steaks and it was awful. It was literally served with rotini noodles mixed with broccoli that looked like pasta roni from the grocery isle. I could have stayed home to eat that. The calamari had zero flavor and like a piece of rubber. Then we ordered this crab Rangoon pot pie. It should be called crab Rangoon dip because no pie part of it. It's a bunch of sludge in a cast iron pan with a few chips on top and 18 bucks for 3 bites. Overall this place will probably do ok as the clientele probably don't know any better but if your a foodie save your time and pass on this spot. Also side note..when discussing this with others we knew after they all said everything they ordered was overcooked so you will get med well everything. read more

Not sure the description does Bryant's justice calling it barbecue, beer bar and buffet. This was a great addition to Lake Country around Okauchee. The passion Bryant has for food comes out in the creativity and flavors he puts together. Having been here a few times since it opened, the small plates selection has always been quality taste and I like that he changes the options often. Some of my favorites have been the brussels sprouts, Seabass, his tuna taretare, burrata stuffed meatball. For those that love deserts, there's some to die for options like the chocolate banana cream pie. Assuming they make the desserts in house. His staff is always friendly and on the spot with service further enhancing the experience. read more

Went to dinner last night. Walking up to the door to see the kitchen staff sitting on the side of the building smoking was our first clue it wasn't going to be great. Sat on the patio, service was awful. Received wrong drinks, ordered a burger and a grilled chicken sandwich, was told 20 minutes later that they had no buns so we had to order something different. Ordered new food, received wrong dressing, wrong drinks, server was no where to be found. Positive part of the experience was the food was at least good but probably won't return. read more

I love Bryant's on the Round! I recently worked with them on a private party we had out on their beautiful patio and have also enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the bar. The inside is cozy, upscale, clean and comfortable. The bar is great for enjoying food and drinks. They have a wonderful patio space which is partially covered and has heating lamps if it gets a little chilly. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have a great selection of wine, hard liquor, mixed drinks and even creative non-alcoholic options. It appears that they update their specialty mixed drinks often. I really enjoyed a maple Manhattan. The food is delicious and the menu has tons of great options that would make anyone happy. I've had the Thai chicken skewers (perfectly cooked, love the sauce), the Brussel sprout cakes (yum! Again - a perfect sauce), baked Brie (a big hit at our party). People in my party had the Mac and cheese, salmon and burgers and everyone was happy. SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT. We had the banana crème pie, creme brûlée, Guiness chocolate cake and key lime pie and they were all outstanding - I couldn't pick a favorite. Note that there is a kids menu and if you ask ahead of time - there are delicious vegan options. I'm so glad you to have found this place and can't wait to return. read more

I saw this restaurant randomly online and SO glad I did. My husband and I decided to try it out for a date night, and wow, we were impressed! Our server was so nice and attentive. The owner was there and made sure everyone was having a good time and they were enjoying themselves. Then the best part.. the drinks and food. The drinks we both had were good, and the food was *chefs kiss* We got the potato, shrimp, and meatball. Then they were offering a tuna tartar for a special that was our favorite!! I went to Bryant's for my birthday. I was warned when I got there that they weren't prepared for the holiday weekend and had items on their menu they no longer had. Okay, I can deal with that. The French onion soup was unimpressive, the beers cheese soup was a bit thick to call it soup, the crab Rangoon pot pit had one piece of crab in it (we searched it for more crab). The table next to us almost walked out without paying due to the crab Rangoon. My steak was underdone to top it off and in no way resembled a blackened steak. Why didn't we complain? Because it was my birthday and we didn't want to make a big deal out of the food when the service was fabulous. Will not be recommending or returning here. read more

This place hasn't been open long so I think I would give it another chance. Service was poor once we were seated. We were told that meals come out of the kitchen as prepared & we might have a little wait for BOTH meals. Well I got my ribeye steak approx 30 minutes before my date did. I was completely finished with my meal before the second entree was delivered. Meals were not hot. And I can't say the food was anything to brag about. read more

What a gem! We sat outside on their lovely patio. We had an early dinner that was fabulous. I had the burrata salad and Thai peanut chicken skewers. Had a wonderful meal last night at Bryant's. Small plate so although there were only two of us ( better with four I think), we sampled quite a few of the dishes. We've been to Bryant's twice now and thoroughly enjoyed both times. Adventurous menu of small shareable plates, some a bit more substantial so can be eaten as an entree. Good wine selection. Friendly staff. Great addition to the area. A bit pricey, but well worth it to us. It is a fairly small venue but recently added an enclosure to their patio for the winter. read more

Tried Bryant's OTR for the first time last night. Everything was phenomenal. Started with a couple cocktails at the bar. Very nice whiskey selection and delicious cocktails. Shared the crab Rangoon, prosciutto wrapped jalapeños, burrata meatball and Buffalo chicken meatloaf. All were wonderful. I've known the chef from previous establishments he ran. and he always cares a lot about his food, his customers, and his reputation. Well, he hit the ball out of the park on this one. The decor is great. George, the bartender is fantastic. And Bryant, the owner and chef, tries to come out and meet you if he can. The food is excellent. I have visited Bryant's three times. There food is good overall. But all three times they had problems with my reservation. The first time they said I didn't have one. The next two times I had a reservation for 5 and they put us at a small table for 4 and squeezed in another chair. I complained and the said they were busy take it or leave. I asked why they made a reservation if they didn't have a table available. No response. We were crammed together, it was incredibly loud and the service was rushed overall a bad experience and the food just isn't worth it. We will not be going back. read more

Was there during the holidays in 2022 and was not impressed at all nor was my date. We had reservations and she placed us at a table near the front then after seating us asked if she could now move us to the back wall right at the corner where everyone comes out of the kitchen. That right there was the beginning of what I knew was not going to be a good experience. I'm definitely a foodie and get out a lot in the Dallas area where I live and when I am home in Milwaukee. The place is very small inside so it can be loud. Atmosphere was okay but not as cozy as I had hoped. Food was average and we were not impressed. I didn't feel I got what I paid for. The best part was our server who was very friendly. My date and I both said we would consider them during the summer perhaps but really would not make a effort to return. There are so many other date night places in my opinion. Just didn't feel comfortable in this place. Not terrible but just not a fan. read more
