Pacific did a really nice job cleaning the tile grout and carpets, BUT they really messed up my baseboards with both water damage, scuffs and gouges. They even chipped off the bottom corner of an interior door. I'm having to have them all repaired and repainted. So figure that into the cost of the job if you have them work for you. read more

I am very disappointed and frustrated with this company. They are unorganized, they don't properly schedule, and they do not give an honest estimate. Tanner came in weeks ago to give an estimate which i never got. I moved my plans so I could be at my office on this Saturday, to find out their hose won't reach my suite. Isn't that the purpose of getting an estimate to figure out cost, needed material, and needed equipment? I wasted my Saturday waiting for last 3 hrs, to find out their equipment wont reach my suite on the second floor and that the crew was not informed. I am guessing this is a big company with multiple franchise locations. My issue is with Tanner (owner's son who gave the initial estimate and did the site survey), and Mary (owner). First they gave us a 2 hour window in which they would arrive (11-2). At 2:30 I called to see why they hadn't arrived. The lady that answered advised she would determine and call me right back. She called back at 3. This should have been my first clue to cancel. She advised they would be at my place in 20min. I guess 20 minutes=60 because they arrived at 4. I had only 2 rooms to be cleaned. I took out all of the furniture from one room and everything but the bed, end table and 2 floor lamps from the other. I know it was a small job however, it only took them 15min to complete. This should have been my second clue. I realize carpet cleaning makes carpets wet but, my carpets were soaked. They advertise that there machines are super powerful and carpets will be clean after 2-3 hours. After 2-3 hours my carpets were still soaked. Well, not all of the carpet, the didn't bother moving or cleaning under the bed, night stands, floor lamps or even move a pair of shoes I forgot in the room. The 2-3 hours turned into 36 hours. It took 36 hours for the floors to dry!! I called the next day but, they were closed as it was a Sunday. I left a message and did not get a return call on Monday. I called at 10am Monday and just got excuses. They advised they would talk to the driver and call me back. They never did. Worse of all, the carpet aren't even clean. If you feel like using Pacific Carpet & Tile Cleaning, do yourself a favor...Dont. Just get a garden hose and soak your carpets. You will get the same results and save some $ read more

I've used them about 6 times now over 3 years. They have cleaned our carpet, rugs and upholstered bed. The staff that cleans the carpet is great. They are knowledgeable and they wouldn't do the job if they think it compromises your items. Their prices are so good I can afford to have them come out twice a year since with kids and a dog it's hard to keep carpets spotless. Highly recommend them and have told many others about them over the years. read more

Company representative assured me that they would be able to remove all wax from ceramic tile and grout before I approved the work. They were not. In addition, the work was delayed as staff showed up without the proper equipment, I had to wait for them to got get the equipment and then return. Staff then rushed to do the job and in the process damaged recently painted floor base boards and a scratched a new stove. I would not recommend. read more

I was very excited to finally be getting around to having our carpets cleaned, and was even more excited to find a place on Friday that was willing to come the following day... oh I should have known better. I was given a 2 hour time-frame of when they would arrive (3-5pm).. so we made sure we moved all our furniture and were completely ready by 3pm. At 5:15 pm when nobody had shown up, I phone the company to see what was going on... no answer. I was extremely frustrated.. did I just waste all our time and energy moving our entire apartment around for no reason? Then 25 minutes later a knock on the door. The guys were nice, but were about 18 years old at the most. They started setting up their equipment.. and being that we had no where to go, we gave them our cell number and ran across the street to get some coffee to kill time. He told me it would take 45 minutes. exactly 20 minutes after they got there, he called to say they were done. And not just 20 minutes of cleaning.. that time included their time to put away their hoses and everything. I know our place is small, but 20 minutes? The main areas of the carpet where very wet and cleaned, but it was obvious they didn't get into the corners or on the edges very well.. Overall, i'm not impressed and wouldn't hire them again. They could've called when they were running late, they could've returned my phone call and try to resolve the issue even after the fact, and they could've cleaned a little better, all of which they did not. read more

Emailed for a estimate, was sent a email requesting more information. Called a Mary and requested someone come out and give a in person estimate. After a few pauses, Mary told me the guy that does that was out of the office. She scheduled a person to come out 3 days later. The morning of, a man called and said he had gotten into a accident coming out of his apartment complex and it would take all day to handle. We re scheduled for the following Saturday. I am still waiting and its the following Tuesday. No call, nothing. At least I know who not to call for carpet cleaning. read more

I paid for the EXTRA service to remove stains left by table feet. I had two rooms cleaned that the team spent less than an hour to do. I checked the results and the stains were still there. I was told they could not not remove them. After the carpet dried, I sprayed the stains with Folex and what do you know 5 minutes later the stains were gone. they made a real pretty pattern with their cleaner machine but accomplished NOTHING! What a total waste of money! Never again. read more

This is a business that I have used many times in the past and were satisfied with the service they provided. That said, things have gone down hill very fast and their last service for carpet cleaning this month was abysmal. Apparently, business for Jeff is unbelievably good as he does not return phone calls and messages I've left with the receptionist. In previous visits to my home, the value of carpet cleaning was maybe just above average but I thought I'd at least give this business a chance to prove themselves. On one occasion, the technician after spraying the carpet pre-treat solution, kicked at the carpet fibers with his tennis shoes just to work the solution into the fibers a little more with the hope that it would lift the dirt and stains. I've never seen this before - kicking it a few times with the rubber sole of his tennis shoes. Nothing like taking the easy way out and not getting down on hands and knees to actually scrub the treated area with a brush. OK. maybe the guy had a bad day. Fast forward to this month, the same technician came by and gave me a higher cost for doing the same house with the same floor plan with the same amount of carpets. Based on Pacific's own rates on the number of square foot of carpeting, they couldn't be consistent with the rates they quote a repeating customer?!! Really?!! Well, it is possible the technician's calibrated eye balls were out of calibration and is the reason why his estimate this time was higher. So after getting off to a bad start, the technician was not at all friendly nor courteous but had a bad attitude. You'd think I just took a hundred dollar bill from his pocket. A second technician was doing most of the work and did the job as expected. At the end, the first technician demanded payment. I said I needed a receipt but he said they don't give receipts anymore and it will be Emailed. There is a right way of broaching this subject and apparently, this guy was carrying too big of a chip on his shoulders and couldn't get the right words to come out of his mouth. Well, if the owners of Pacific Carpet Cleaning do not care to give a client a call back after waiting two weeks and nearly half a dozen requests, then it is pretty clear they don't give a rodent's behind. No matter how well their crew may do the work, if the owner takes an apathetic attitude, then it is pretty clear they don't care about customers' feedback. Actions speak louder than words and based on their actions, or rather lack of any, so far, it is pretty clear to me what they are saying. read more

I found this company on Yelp and they had great reviews so I gave them a call. When Jeff came to give me an estimate he was very friendly and professional. I was also very impressed with his honesty. I own a business and needed the tile cleaned and waxed. I told him I was looking for someone to come in monthly to provide this service, but Jeff told me quarterly should be more than enough. He could have easily said sure, I'll come every month, and take my money, but he didn't. I booked them for the job and I have to say I couldn't be happier with the results. I've used this cleaning company several times in the past 5 years and they've always done a great job. Alex was on time, courteous, neat, and quick. We had the carpets cleaned as well as a sectional and everything dried within a few hours. They recommended we turn on the fans and it really seemed to help. They offer enzymes as an option in lieu of a cleaning solution and there was no odor or residue which was nice. I will definitely use them again and will continue to refer my friends. read more

I requested help and agent on behalf of owner said too much rain will wither away sealant. I guess she was unaware-of the fact that California has been in a drought for awhile. I have been using Pacific Carpet Cleaning for years now at my commercial business and I have to say no one comes close to how clean they get our carpets. I had an estimate within 48 hours and decided to make appt with tile cleaning and grout cleaning for the master bathroom, which included a huge shower, tub, and 2 sinks. We had a third sink that was also needing a makeover. Three hours later, all are cleaned and sealed and recaulked. They did a great job and both gentlemen were very professional. He sent out his crew at no cost to show me their new and improved approach. From the scheduling process to their detail of work they have greatly improved upon their approach and customer service. These guys are the best. I've used them 3 times to clean my nasty carpets. I have three dogs and things get dirty fast. Each time I made an appointment they've always showed up on time, usually with 2 guys. They tap your hot water heater and drag in these super long hoses into your house. I swear the carpets are new when they finish. I've used other carpet cleaners and these guys are significantly cheaper. Will be using them again. read more

I wanted to let everyone know how impressed I am with their services. I was living with my Boyfriend and his 2 male roommates. I hate to say it but the carpet was so bad I was embarrassed to have people come over, until I had this company clean the carpets. Upon moving out I called many places who gave me quotes up to $200.00 for a 1,052 square foot apartment and that was without their special spot remover. This is the first time I've tried Pacific Carpet and Tile Cleaning. I have a type of tile that is very difficult to keep clean and to get clean. It has tiny little pits in my tile that pick up dirt very easily and makes my tile look filthy. I have tried many other tile cleaning companies, but nobody could get the dirt out of these little pits. They were all just surface cleaners. Then I tried Pacific Carpet and Tile Cleaning. They arrived exactly on time, very professional, and when they were done, my tile looked brand new. They got every little tiny pit, nook and cranny, perfectly clean. I was very impressed. Then they made sure my tile was dry and even helped me return my furniture back to the proper place. I also had them clean my couch (where 3 dogs sleep on) and that came out perfectly clean as well. It also looks brand new. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The girl who answered the phone was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The only thing is when you give the person your square footage over the phone, be sure you are accurate, because they will measure your square footage and the price may change from the quote you received over the phone. read more

This company cleaned our carpets for $89, but they were dirty again within a few days (especially the stairs). I notified the company of the problem/complaint within a week of the cleaning. I requested a refund or for our stairs to be re-cleaned. Mary, the receptionist, took a message stating that the owner, Jeff, would need to respond to the problem. My husband and I called over 20 times within a 5 week period. We never received any phone calls back. I left a final message stating that we needed a refund, as their customer service showed no concern over the quality of their work nor the satisfaction of the customer....still no response. Mary called my husband back and scheduled a re-cleaning. I called back letting the company know that we wanted only a refund since we purchased our own carpet cleaning supplies (which worked much better than Pacific Carpet Cleaning). We still have received no response from the company in regards to the refund or the complaint. read more
