What a great place. The menu has great items including gluten free yummies. The service was great. Valerie and Alicia were amazing. It's a nice big open distillery for big groups. First I checked this place out I came with my dog. This time was there with my boyfriend's family. The drinks were so good. My favorite was the toasted marshmallow old fashion.

We weren't thinking of coming here. We were headed to a different restaurant. We were drawn in by the relaxed vibe. The cool chill ambience and inviting atmosphere. There are a lot of different s3sts available. Regular tables, by rhe bar and high table tops. And also an outdoor area. They also have a private parking lot. But since we weren't intending to come here initially, we parked along the side of the road. We were tended to by a very nice bartender. She knew what she was talking about. We asked her for recommendations and she made the best recommendations possible. I love that the food is fusion style. My husband got a brisket platter and it was delicious!!! It was tender and juicy and moist. I gotta say this is the most my husband has eaten in a while. He loved it. He actually finished all the brisket except for the fat on the brisket. There were sides of fries and garlic bread and pickles with his platter. I ordered the ahi poke nachos. It was delicious. The ahi poke was delicious and fresh paired with little bits of cucumber and little mango bits and sea weed, it was to die for. The wanton nachos were super light and crispy. I'm unashamed to say that I finished it all. I ordered two drinks one- sand dollar and the second was a drink I saw her preparing for someone else. It had blue pea flower syrup and lavender and I was in LOVE!!! I had to have it. It did not disappoint. It was super light refreshing and a balm for sore eyes. We also got a free dessert courtesy of the bartender. Orange zest creme brulee. It was wonderful. The crispy burnt sugar on top of the creme brulee was delicious. The creme brulee beneath the burnt sugar topping was a nice tasting contrast. It could be a tad smoother if they had sieved it before hand. But it's a good taste. We love it. We will be back. My hubby and I love this place.

We were headed for another spot but passed this on our walk and decided to stop in and have lunch. Boy am I glad we did. We sat at the bar and was taken care of by an awesome bartender. Wish I had asked her name. I had the brisket, which was delicious. With a house brewed ale beer. Perfect. The wife had the poke nachos which she loved. The restaurant was comfortable and had a nice cross breeze.

Came as part of girls day brewery/pub crawl for a bday and had a great time. It's so open and airy inside with lots of seating. We sat at the bar since we were just passing through. Most of the girls enjoyed an espresso martini while I had a basil berry and dang it, that was so good! We shared several food items the crispy Brussels, the pretzel bites and the ahi poke and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The bartender was super friendly and added to our good time. I'd love to come back another day and spend more time here

Love the ambiance. Plenty of seating, both inside and outside. They also have a life-size connect four outside which is pretty awesome! The service was AMAZING. Our server, in particular, was on point! Her name is Ashley! She had great recommendations for drinks and food! The only thing that I was a little disappointed about was on the distillery fries, I wish the cheese was melted more. Other than that, everything else was great! The ketchup is amazing! you can taste the freshness!

Had the best time ever! The bartender/our server Valerie was incredible. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel so special. The drinks and food were the best I've had in a long time! I'm a wing fanatic and these were fall off the bone fabulous. Everything was clean and just pure fabulous. I cannot wait to come back!

The pretzel was dry/bready, a little hard, sausage was good/spicy. Fish and chips were good but despite the price the fish was portioned similar to a kids meal. Waitress was nice. Wings were good. Perhaps the dinner menu is better, at lunch there is no option for macaroni, brisket, really the stuff you see on the photos.

Came here for my birthday and we saw it was a new trendy place in Oceanside. It's very big here with plenty of parking, outdoor and indoor seating. We came on a Friday night and was pretty busy but we didnt have to wait to be seated. The hostess was nice along with our waitress. My only and one complaint was the seating... We really should of chosen a normal table.. But we instead sat on a couch type seating and it was just awkward with the table kind of low so you basically had to haunch over to eat. I did like the games they provide on the table while you wait for your food and drinks. We may not return just because the food didn't leave me as lasting impression to come back. But, i encourage you to try it once and see for yourself.

My husband and I went here off of one recommendation on TikTok, as we were coming to San Diego for our honeymoon and we were searching for good places to go to. We were intrigued by the fact that Pacific Coast makes their own spirits, so we knew we wanted to try it out. When we went, it was definitely a slow time for them but the overall vibe and atmosphere was great. It's a cute place to hang out and there was outdoor seating with games as well. The service was also great. Our server was very attentive and provided us with some great recommendations! I ordered the Yuzu Ahi Poke Plate and it was delicious. It felt like there was a generous amount of ahi and the toppings + sauce were perfect. My husband ordered the sweet heat chicken sandwich and thought the flavor was great and unique. He usually opts for a super spicy sandwich but said that he thought the sweetness added that unique twist. The drinks were both amazing!! We don't remember the names of them, but they were both great and we would have them again. We would have purchased a couple of their bottles of vodka or gin but we were flying back home. If we lived locally, we would definitely be purchasing bottles and returning to their restaurant. We highly recommend!

you can't/ shouldn't charge $15 for a cocktail and put a rotten garnish on it. Happened twice. Cheese sauce was grossssss. Service A+++

A cute and casual spot with tasty drinks, good food, and live music. Their menu includes some gluten free options, including gluten free buns and swapping a side salad for fries or onion rings. Service was friendly and attentive.

We were on our way to San Diego and we stopped here for lunch. Weather was amazing and we decided to eat on their outside patio. Menu looked good and they have different varieties to choose from. We tried: Cheddar Biscuit & Honey Butter: Biscuit was really made to its perfection and the honey butter on it made it taste so good. Worth trying if you like biscuit! Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos: Fish was prepped very well. Pico and tequila creama was absolutely delicious and it paired really well with fish. Worth trying this! Duck Burger: This dish was new on their menu and I love duck! Burger Patty was cooked to its core! Brie and fig aioli made a great combination with brioche bread. Full of flavor and it hit the spot! Fries which came with it were well done and had great crunch to it. A thumbs up to this dish! Service was quick - we sat at the table right away without any reservations and servers were attentive. Would definitely come back to try their drinks!

My husband and I stopped in to Frankie's on a recent Saturday at 5pm. Our kiddo had a performance down the street at 6pm so we had a little time to kill beforehand. The neighboring spots looked busy so we decided to go with Frankie's, seeing as they were less inundated at the time and we had a time constraint. Another allure was the sandwich board at the front door advertising discounted cocktails - sold!! Inside there were a handful of patrons at the bar, another table with two additional patrons and maybe a couple on the patio so it was fairly quiet and slow, so it looked promising. We headed up to the bar and hung out behind two empty barstools, the single female bartender greeted us and said she'd be right with us, but then continued chatting up the seated patrons, serving them and their friends that had just joined (AFTER we'd arrived). We moved a little further down to the handoff area where she was making drinks to save her having to come back to us again, and stood there for probably 10 minutes while she took orders and made all the drinks. We commented that she looked like she could definitely use a hand, and she said they were still adjusting into summer hours and determining whether more coverage was needed at this time - I figured 5pm on a Saturday should be primetime, so I'm not sure in what universe having a single bartender makes any sense. Finally we placed our cocktail orders, waited while they were made, and then put our card down for the tab. After we'd paid, I noticed the cocktails were more expensive than advertised on the sandwich board out front - I couldn't find a disclaimer anywhere that said only certain cocktails were included, so while it was a bummer I wasn't about to wait another 10-15 minutes to catch her attention and ask for clarification. Just a heads up to beware of whatever is advertised that might summon you in from the sidewalk, and make sure you ask before you make your selection. Drinks were very subpar, nothing special to write home about. While I can appreciate the Gatsby-esque vibe they're trying to uphold at Frankie's, they really should increase their staffing especially during prime weekend and evening hours, and be more transparent about their specials and what's included and what's not. Hindsight is 20/20, and the low volume of patrons when everything else around it was going off was probably a sign, so we'll skip Frankie's our next go around.

She brought it back to the bartender for a lemon drop, that ended up being made sickeningly sweet, like biting into a cinnamon roll!! Can't we just get a normal drink!? There's a wide, wide range between Pine-sol and cinnamon roll. It almost felt insulting, honestly, like a bad joke.. If you like your tiki bars low-key, The Lobby Tiki Bar & Grill has got you covered…read more If that sounds like a negative, it's not. In this case, "low-key" refers to a tiki bar that is not over-the-top; one that doesn't cause you to enter into an entirely different reality. There's a time and place for that sort of tiki bar but in a small coastal town perhaps you don't want or need to enter a fourth dimension. The Lobby is small (though larger than I'd anticipated), not noticeably dark (like many in the genre), and outfitted with a nice array of tiki-themed tchotchkes. Scooby Doo, playing silently on a small tv above the bar, is a perfect accompaniment to the pleasing decor. I both ate and drank here and found nothing not to enjoy. Tiki bars generally elicit happiness in me and this one, with its excellent server, did not change that mindset. An Astro Chimp ($14) was my tiki drink of choice, mostly because I was interested in trying a cocktail featuring cold brew. Very good, and it did not keep me up all night. Fish & Chips ($23) was a sizable and satisfying portion, plenty there to be shared by two. "Brussels" ($11), were also quite good and ample. You will not go hungry if you choose to dine here. The Lobby is a fun choice for your time in Oceanside. Stylish and satisfying on every front, I'd happily return. Other stuff: * There is apparently a stairway-accessible rooftop deck here but it was closed for a private event during my visit. If open, definitely worth checking out. * 5% surcharge is automatically added to everything you spend here.

Knows a lot about the menu and made some great recommendations. I thought I'd have the willpower to just eat half the dirty bird but I ate the whole thing. The fries were also delicious and easy to eat. They have a full bar and offer a birthday shot for birthdays. My friend liked the Carlsbad Hazy IPA. They have some good options for dessert that looked really good to try. Wish they had Coke items but Pepsi isn't terrible.

Parking was a little rough and the lot was FULL, but I took that as a good sign I went around 2pm on a Wednesday and there was a nice mix of families, couples, etc. You can sit inside, at the bar, or outside in the sun or shade. I chose outside in the shade and it was quiet, relaxed, and really comfortable. I ordered the Dirty Bird and it was SO good. The chicken was crispy outside, juicy inside, not oily or dry. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, the fries were nicely seasoned, and it was a good amount of food. They happily put my pickles and hot honey on the side too. I asked for ginger ale and they offered ginger beer instead, which was a pleasant little surprise! The menu has a ton to choose from. I actually wished I had people with me so I could try more things And for my fellow IBS friends, the women's bathroom has TWO stalls. These are important details!! I'd absolutely come back and bring my husband. Although he ate my leftovers, so I'm still a little mad at him.

I wouldn't call this place a great dinner spot, not because of the food but because of the atmosphere. Even though we enjoyed all our food, my husband was in a bit of hurry to get out of here because he was really uncomfortable with the seating. The seating is more like patio-style furniture, so the chairs are very low. Since he is on the taller side, his legs were all bunched up the whole time. We had made reservations, but we didn't know that booking "Standard" meant that we were going to be sitting in the hotel pool area... this was probably our biggest complaint. Even though the view was spectacular, it was interrupted by kids jumping in the pool and occasionally splashing us and also just running by us. Also because we were by the pool, our cocktails came in plastic glasses which also made us feel a little slighted, especially since the cocktails are pretty pricey. The service was just okay. Our server was nice and we didn't ever feel like we were being neglected even though we were over by the pool and not in the main area. I just feel there wasn't anything remarkable about the service. I think when you are expecting to pay higher prices for an experience, you want more personable servers. All this to say, we were really happy with all the food we had! We had the 1/2 dozen oysters (my only complaint is that they did not disclose where they were from on the menu so you don't really know what you are paying for and it is pricey), the sea bass ceviche (super yummy!), the lamb, and the prawn special. I did not shut up about how yummy the prawns were all night, even after we left! Anyway, I think I would come back for drinks and maybe a dish or two, but we definitely won't be coming back for date night dinner again.

My goodness gracious…read more A.I. whiffed on this suggestion big-time, asking for a nice rooftop viewpoint to bring my family for a light dinner. Upon entrance, it is beyond cramped and chaotic (where are capacity enforcements, and that's just near the front half of the venue on the 6th floor. I had no clue this area was also used for hotel guests at the Mission Pacific, with ZERO dress code. You can come in flip-flops and a wife beater. There were kids, infants, some literally looked like mothers gave birth and then brought them from the hospital straight here like, WTF are these people thinking??? Ok, hotel priority, should've fact-checked that's on me, but it's just disgusting looking at the crowd here, absolutely abysmal. It makes Wal-Mart look like Rodeo Drive. I didnt see this awful of an assembly of people staying at Motel 6's. After our reservation was confirmed, we were led to a private area through a weighted gate door, I said good, away from the chaos. Instead, we were put in even more of a hellfire right in front of the pool which was littered with screaming, splashing kids left right up and down. Our seating areas were wet (see pics for proof) and my wife got her pants soaked by the time she realized it, I had to put a pillow underneath to avoid sitting on a soaked couch. Insanely traumatizing and epic fail+disaster. We ordered drinks they came 1 hour, yes 1 HOUR after our meals arrived, they took 50% off the drinks bill, when they should've (and really the whole bill) waived without question. Why??? Read on I'm just warming up. I must say, Kylie our server was extremely apologetic and super nice, which rendered the full tip amount, but she couldnt salvage this tragedy. They REALLY need to separate outside visitor dining reservations from hotel crowd, its ridiculous. There was a woman who bent over right in front of my mom, ass cheeks fully exposed, and changed bathing suits right in front of her so close that if my mom turned to the left, her nose would've been in her asshole. This is happening at 8pm. The food: Grilled Artichoke B+ Tuna Tartare F-, returned and refunded, disgusting Coulotte steak slices F-, Each family member took 1 slice and attempted to chew, every one of us spit out; unchewable sinew and gristle, $50 buck complete waste. Vadouvan Chicken Sando= A, shockingly delish and perfect. Marinated Seas Bass=A...like a ceviche super fresh. So in all, the service gets a star not for the delay of drinks but Kylie's compassion and demeanor and engagement with us, the food is all over the place but a 2* combined, and taking one star off for the insanely chaotic shit show a breath in front of us, the wet seats, and cherry on top, the bullshit 6% "service" charge tacked on. I will be having nightmares for a few weeks, if not months, to get this outta my system.

They had fantastic bartenders and menu, but the speakeasy concept has been outdated for a while. Now, a Honky Tonk is a very different, good thing. The tunes are something North County has been wanting, but been missing in favor of larger venue DJ's, but the juke box here has been curated with classics. It's far too small to dance unless you're slow or maybe 2 stepping in the corner. The ambiance is dim, relaxed, fun. The drinks are just as good as some of the top bars around, helmed by Wyatt who you may remember from Switchboard and KNVS is a staple in Oceanside. Prices are excellent, staff is great. While you can get a cocktail here, you don't have to. A classic shot and a beer is just as likely to be had here as a stemmed glass proper cocktail. When it's jamming it is near a standing room all the way around. No doorman asking for a password, no re-entry on nights when Heritage are open (Monday is this exception). It's funny to watch South O locals wander in here and realize maybe it's time to stop trying to change places to be like other places and enjoy the experience shown.
